Melody of Golden Age Episode 36

This episode broke me. My heart is in turmoil. All of it was such a devastating blow. 😠💔I cheered for the bravery of some, I cried for the sacrifices of some, and I held my breath for even the tiniest shimmer of hope. The situation now is unimaginable—it feels like the Death Eaters have taken over the world. The streets are empty, and everyone rebellious or "inconvenient" is being killed. The house of cards is crashing, and pure chaos reigns. It was so full of heavy emotions and impossible decisions that it’s hard to even comment properly. All I can hope now is that Yan Xing realizes the true reasons behind Shen Du’s actions and finds a way to pull him away from Lai Luozhi’s clutches. I’m still holding onto the hope that Chui Chui can help—I still think Lai Luozhi might listen to her, even if only a little. But Madam Xu saying this was all "predetermined"? It makes me wonder if this chaos is just a grand plan for someone else to emerge from the shadows as the "savior." Lai Luozhi’s mother is still a mystery... perhaps she is the only straw left to grasp to finally pacify him? 🤔

I'm hooked already. Loved the visuals the feel of the story. The air of mystery surrounding the ML and the feel the drama gives me. The characters are so well rounded too I want more once I finish watching the episode.

The Midnight Romance in Hagwon Episode 10

Hye Jin is such an interesting character to me because she's the kind you rarely see in dramas. That is, I feel like most dramas don't devote this much time to a character's internal struggles. Usually, there's some kind of external obstacle for our protagonists to encounter and react to, and eventually defeat. And while Pyo Sang Seob is an external force, a lot of the conflict Hye Jin encounters this episode is internal. You see it in the way Jun Ho responds to her shock. He's well-meaning, but ultimately puzzled by how distressed she is, because to him Pyo Sang Seob is just an obstacle. He has no emotional connection or moral obligation to him, and you can see that he believes that Hye Jin also doesn't owe anything to Pyo Sang Seob either. This conflicts with Hye Jin's belief, in that she feels guilt for what she thinks she's done to this man, and also guilty for being so "two-faced".It's interesting because Hye Jin always says one thing while really meaning another. Time and time again she's emphasized profit above all else, but then her actions show that she in fact has more heart than she lets on. So it makes sense to me why she's so shattered by the accusation that she's a hypocrite, because she ultimately cares very much, whether for her students or for herself.I liked how the director brought back the black and white flashbacks, with the flashback revealing more of the scene than we initially saw. In Hye Jin's case, she's clearly worried about it before, whether her actions are "right" or not, which means she's struggled with having principles and sticking to them in an environment that encourages the opposite.Moving on to Jun Ho and Hye Jin's relationship, the idea that Jun Ho could represent the parts about herself that she dislikes the most is intriguing, and I wonder how the drama will address this. I know that it has to be resolved one way or another for the sake of our couple, but I want to see if Hye Jin comes around to what Jun Ho represents, or if he'll see things her way instead.

I watched it whyyy , I expected something , but literally nothing happened , all I gotta see is a few ghosts and a small girl following Dao everywhere , I am so disappointed after observing Dao's current attitude , he's way too cold , but Im not really giving up on this one , maybe things gonna get better but still after watching the teaser of the second episode it seemed boring as well honestly , let's wait and see... I can say it's very boring

i was looking forward for Arthit & Daotok's romance & this kinda was meeh... 1st off Arthit an utter douche & until now he wasn't like this, yeah he was the bad-boy of the group, but he was easy going & fun even if he liked to tease his buddies about the guys they were crushing on. here he is just mean & unlikeable - while Daotok's not just an introvert he comes off fragile & even if he knew how to handle Arthit. idk i don't really feel them together they not just opposites attract they extremes, more like oil & water that just don't mix. ***************************************************************************************************also i get that from the start of this season we knew that Daotok is able to communicate with ghosts, but suddenly Arthit got this ability when there wasn't even a mention of this in season 1?? hope the next ep gets better cause this was a let down -

I am very confused after this episode! On one hand, we have the clear villain Lai Luozhi, but on the other—what if he is just a pawn in someone else's game? What did that "Hoe" mark on his chest actually mean?I feel like they resolved the Musician case too quickly; it felt a bit too easy. And then the Empress Dowager suddenly falls ill and hands all that power to Lai Luozhi? Her illness definitely doesn't feel natural. I thought she might be weakening from grief, but now I’m not so sure.So many people seem suspicious now, especially Lai Luozhi’s sister and Princess Runming. I’m hoping the next episode gives us answers about Lai Luozhi’s mother.I have to confess: even though Lai Luozhi is the villain, I felt compassion for him in this episode. All evil deeds aside, his loneliness is palpable. Dealing with that kind of isolation can warp a person's character, and it seems he’s filling that void with an insatiable greed for power. Kudos to Mao Zi Jun—he is playing this conflicted villain brilliantly!

Why did the writers create so many stories about SML and FL? Were they (the writers) instructed by the production company or was it their own desire?

What a way to start the episode, like wow this was cinematic peak.i freakin love this series, everything is so well depicted here, like even before the nc actually happen we can stil see that Qian isn't fully open to love him and he still has questions, but the way Yuan answers to any doubt that he may have, these men are made for each other. And Xiao Bao is funny af this girl deserves the world haha. i would have love to see a love story between the gang chief and the doctor (a man can dream...)But anyway the mixed feelings of Qian are so well depicted, Chris is such a good actor (the whole cast actually), he delivers great emotions.I really love this series like truly and this episode semented all type of emotions brillantly
