Bumps in the road

QingCheng heads to what she believes is an interview and taping for a movie. The director’s requests and script don’t line up and she exits promptly. She gets a call from a real director and this time checks on what the part is. She dodged a bullet with Mr striptease director.😝At the movie premiere, Man sees MuSun with a pretty and younger date. Even with a date he tries to make moves with Man. Tiao had an accident on his scooter and English tutor shows up to the rescue. KaiXi is in panic mode and calls Man. When Man gets to the ER, she has a collision with one of the docs and gets reprimanded. As she comforts Kai Xi and Tiao she is introduced to the brusque Dr who happens to be a friend of Kai Xi. The one time KaiXi wants to introduce her she brushes it off and hurries them along. KaiXi has reason to fear. Chen Mian has already made his son a good spy and was told how careless his mom is.😡 Kiddo works cheap for chocolates. I hope he isn’t successful getting rid of the maid. She is KaiXi’s last line of defense, she just isn’t aware. KaiXi is guilty of painting her acquaintances with a broad brush of better relationships than her. If she would candidly network with them, she would most likely find the majority of them in similar straits. She is depriving herself a peripheral support system and that’s unfortunate. Man is doing her best, but she really is unaware of just how bad KaiXi’s situation is. I have no clue what is up with Man’s ex. He is like a weird wannabe celebrity stalker with Man as a way into their circle. He asks odd questions like he is digging for information and out of the blue wants a trip with her out of the country? His character makes no sense to me. The only good things of this episode is QingCheng avoided having a revealing video made by a creep and KaiXi is starting to see her husband as the enemy. Since he is trying to undermine her to their son, he needs to go. She needs to cut her losses and do what is best for her and son. She is not seeing that her passiveness with his womanizing is giving her son lessons in life that shouldn’t be there, as evidenced by Chen working with tutor via Tia’s love of chocolate. 😡 He truly is a scumbag even if he can have a cute Lego play date with son.

The Earth Episode 5 Review: Strong Performances, Slipping Pacing

The Earth Episode 5 deepens the emotional tension between Rose and Din, with jealousy simmering and the “fake” marriage feeling increasingly real. Alcohol becomes an emotional shield rather than a plot device, allowing both women to act on feelings they are not yet ready to claim. Mim delivers a layered, compelling performance, while Moddaeng continues to provide sharp comedic balance. However, as the romance expands, broader narrative threads — including the farmland conflict and previously introduced investigative angles — feel underdeveloped. With only three episodes remaining, pacing and structural cohesion are becoming critical to the series’ endgame. We break down what worked, what didn’t, and why we’re cautiously watching the runway ahead in our full review: https://bit.ly/3ZSyLvJ

Heart Code EP3 Review: Chemistry, Consequences, and a Romance on Fire

Episode 3 of Heart Code raises the stakes in every direction — emotionally, professionally, and romantically. The chemistry between Vicky and Captain Thara is electric, the consequences feel real, and the pacing proves this seven-episode Thai GL knows exactly what it’s doing. We break down what’s working (spoiler: a lot), what made us raise an eyebrow, and why this might be one of the strongest GL episodes currently airing.Read the full review here: https://bit.ly/4atCVQP

Eunho was so cool in this episode!! She was truly determined to protect Siyeol in both life and mental state. Now she handled everything so thoughtfully, managing current situations while fixing past mistakes flawlessly. It was touching to see how guilty she felt, realizing she'd caused a successful woman's career to be cut short. And my favorite Eunho scene in this episode has to be the black card 💸 (Eunho's unserious jealousy scene was pretty fun to watch too.) Siyeol is a totally gentle boyfriend. There’s no awkwardness or shyness left between them. Holding hands, leaning on shoulders, and even resting her head on his lap.. They’re honestly adorably annoying!!! I have no idea where the bickering duo went. All that's left is a couple that’s practically glued to each other. P.S. I'm so satisfied that the debt issues of Siyeol's teammates have been resolved. I've braced myself for a sad ending for the main characters, but I really hope all the kind-hearted supporting characters get to find happiness on their own paths.

idk why 3 eps dropped one after another, but…

idk why 3 eps dropped one after another, but we already at the end & it's kinda frustrating cause as much as i am enjoying myself & loving this, it feels too short & i doubt this feel will change when we reach the last ep. it's like we r skimming the surface & not exploring the depths that could be given the chemistry between the mains & that is disappointing to me. ************************************************************************************************************************************************* this was a very fluffy & fun ep - i love Yo Ki, he is such a loveable fun character, no matter what is going on in his life he has the ability to keep his moral up, even when he is alone. he is such a positive character - he deserves happiness & i am so happy that he finally got someone on his side, not only rooting for him, but someone who demands others respect him - just wish Yang Meng punched that guy that ditched Yo Ki & let him climb the mountain alone. heck i wish someone would break that director's nose. **********************************************************************************************************************also we got some back info about the side story, but there is so little of them that it's another plot that's underdeveloped & a shame IMO.

Tengda 2.0

This episode showed the progress of Tengda in re establishing all projects and putting it back in the black. Elder Sima shows up and makes a different offer. This time when Pei visits him, he notes the maintenance needed and how the sprinklers inconvenienced the people below. He has taken the path not offered. He wants Tengda to be independent and not part of the Sima group. This devastates his mentor, but his true successor needed to be his own person and as already noted with Sima Wan, he was not cut of the same cloth. For all his benevolence with Tengda funding, Elder Sima was not above inconveniencing others for something as little as watering his lawn. Pei saw this as the crux of what he despised about business management and wanted no part of it. He left the Tengda building and moved to a different location that had nothing to do with Sima. He kept 51% of stock and 49% to employees. They are self owned and operated. He reminded Elder Sima that it was the people not the money that mattered in the great scheme of things. He refused to jeopardize that by having to deal with an outside investor. I grinned at seeing the prior headhunter giving guided tours at the new building. His team is adjusting to their new environment and Pei returned from a long vacation to places unknown. He did not move his parents out of their apartment but did get elevators installed. His company continues to grow as it has added the ponytail fruit market and a new ice cream shop. Ms Xin has stayed with Tengda rather than returning to her old boss. He left Sima the picture of his grand venture with the unlucky ribbon and closed the door on it. While unsuccessful for Sima at the end, it will be Pei’s and work family’s greatest achievement. At the end of episode Pei is writing the story. 😂🤣 This ended well and is a very good watch. It is highly recommended and I will enjoy rewatching. I will definitely watch a season 2 if they make one, but this story is complete as is and doesn’t require a sequel. Excellent job from cast and production team.👏🏻❤️

Work and play

This episode starts off with some friendly competition on court, but then showed some heat between Chen and Zhou about work. Zhou is being cut out of a deal and he lets Chen know he thinks he is still a contender. QingCheng is also friends with Man who helps her get into an art exhibition for opportunity to apologize. Mission is somewhat successful but KaiXi resents feeling manipulated and responds with a furniture delivery.😂🤣 I wish QingCheng would have talked about her father rather than her mother. She did not realize that her new friends would have benefited more from that insight than the hardships of her mother. Man’s ex sees her chatting over coffee and invites himself over. Initially he looked down on her ‘job’ which led to their breakup. Now that she is with popular actors and directors he wants a way in with celebrities. 😝 She gets a surprise at the film preview.
