idk why 3 eps dropped one after another, but…

idk why 3 eps dropped one after another, but we already at the end & it's kinda frustrating cause as much as i am enjoying myself & loving this, it feels too short & i doubt this feel will change when we reach the last ep. it's like we r skimming the surface & not exploring the depths that could be given the chemistry between the mains & that is disappointing to me. ************************************************************************************************************************************************* this was a very fluffy & fun ep - i love Yo Ki, he is such a loveable fun character, no matter what is going on in his life he has the ability to keep his moral up, even when he is alone. he is such a positive character - he deserves happiness & i am so happy that he finally got someone on his side, not only rooting for him, but someone who demands others respect him - just wish Yang Meng punched that guy that ditched Yo Ki & let him climb the mountain alone. heck i wish someone would break that director's nose. **********************************************************************************************************************also we got some back info about the side story, but there is so little of them that it's another plot that's underdeveloped & a shame IMO.

Tengda 2.0

This episode showed the progress of Tengda in re establishing all projects and putting it back in the black. Elder Sima shows up and makes a different offer. This time when Pei visits him, he notes the maintenance needed and how the sprinklers inconvenienced the people below. He has taken the path not offered. He wants Tengda to be independent and not part of the Sima group. This devastates his mentor, but his true successor needed to be his own person and as already noted with Sima Wan, he was not cut of the same cloth. For all his benevolence with Tengda funding, Elder Sima was not above inconveniencing others for something as little as watering his lawn. Pei saw this as the crux of what he despised about business management and wanted no part of it. He left the Tengda building and moved to a different location that had nothing to do with Sima. He kept 51% of stock and 49% to employees. They are self owned and operated. He reminded Elder Sima that it was the people not the money that mattered in the great scheme of things. He refused to jeopardize that by having to deal with an outside investor. I grinned at seeing the prior headhunter giving guided tours at the new building. His team is adjusting to their new environment and Pei returned from a long vacation to places unknown. He did not move his parents out of their apartment but did get elevators installed. His company continues to grow as it has added the ponytail fruit market and a new ice cream shop. Ms Xin has stayed with Tengda rather than returning to her old boss. He left Sima the picture of his grand venture with the unlucky ribbon and closed the door on it. While unsuccessful for Sima at the end, it will be Pei’s and work family’s greatest achievement. At the end of episode Pei is writing the story. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£ This ended well and is a very good watch. It is highly recommended and I will enjoy rewatching. I will definitely watch a season 2 if they make one, but this story is complete as is and doesn’t require a sequel. Excellent job from cast and production team.šŸ‘šŸ»ā¤ļø

Work and play

This episode starts off with some friendly competition on court, but then showed some heat between Chen and Zhou about work. Zhou is being cut out of a deal and he lets Chen know he thinks he is still a contender. QingCheng is also friends with Man who helps her get into an art exhibition for opportunity to apologize. Mission is somewhat successful but KaiXi resents feeling manipulated and responds with a furniture delivery.šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£ I wish QingCheng would have talked about her father rather than her mother. She did not realize that her new friends would have benefited more from that insight than the hardships of her mother. Man’s ex sees her chatting over coffee and invites himself over. Initially he looked down on her ā€˜job’ which led to their breakup. Now that she is with popular actors and directors he wants a way in with celebrities. šŸ˜ She gets a surprise at the film preview.

Is this the first episode without any scenes…

Is this the first episode without any scenes of them yelling or getting frustrated? Even as they take their relationship to the next level, they still have those little awkward moments but when Eunho comes out of her room she doesn't hesitate to grab Siyeol's glass for a drink, it’s so natural and full of comfort.. This contrast is what makes their sweetness feel so organic. Siyeol, the man who's usually so stubborn, has completely lost his edge when it comes to Eunho without even realizing it. He stands by her even though she sold his AC, and instinctively gets protective of her during the part-time job drama. He no longer cares how much trouble she might cause, he’s just there to back her up no matter what. Eunho, who usually keeps her guard up, has finally let it down and showed her vulnerability to Siyeol. Not only that, she’s also genuinely concerned about the hardships he faces as well. The old couple vibe showed up again and I was never bored. There's the worried mother who can't stand seeing her daughter fall for a total loser, while the protective father is always doting on his daughter. My only gripe while watching is their relationship has only just officially begun, we’re finally seeing beautiful friendship around them clearer. With only 3 episodes left, it’s ending way too soon for me. I need to bask in the joy a bit longer before any angst kicks in!!

Confessions, hopes and realizations

I like that QingCheng went back to the elevator and told KaiXi the truth. KaiXi got that confirmed for herself when she went to the room but now both besties know QingCheng is not that sort of gal. MuSun is a surprise for Man. He pushes all the right buttons, but just like his friend, once he has read the room he thinks he has things his way. Chen Mian reluctantly went home to his son but then had the sweetest time playing Lego. Kai Xi is so hopeful as she sees them playing and enjoying each other’s company. She even posts them on her social media as the definition of happiness. If only that were true. He has so much potential to be the good husband and father but chooses to not. He steps up with his son but finds all of KaiXi’s efforts smothering or lacking. His final dig was how amazing Man was because she was a self made woman with a career. He is a complete louse in the husband department. It’s a very far cry from his vow before his friends when they got married.šŸ˜ She tried to entice him to stay but he wasn’t having it. He needed that extra hour of sleep before his board meeting. As he heads back to the city, Man has her own mini crisis and calls Kai Xi for help. She is intrigued by MuSan but not ready to sleep with him. When he said he couldn’t sleep with another near she called him out for being willing to suffer it a night had she opted to sleep with him on his terms. He was quite the charmer and thought he had her set with his drying of her hair. He definitely made the perfect setting for things to go more intimate. Once she realized he couldn’t just share her company, that gave her a better perception of his real thoughts about her and she could leave on her own terms.

Living with a chameleon

QingCheng only knows the cheating hubby as King of the Wind who is her biggest contributor. He is very good at reading the room and becoming whatever type is necessary to capture the interest of the woman he is with. Man is waiting for MuSun to show up at a hotel lobby and sees QingCheng enter after seeing Chen Mian in the lobby. She gets photos of QingCheng going in and knows it’s a hookup and sends pics to KaiXi. What the best friends don’t know is that QingCheng’s father was a cheater, so she instantly saw through the flashy Zhou MuSun and had absolutely no interest. The cheater fell under her radar because he wore no wedding band or fancy watch. He came across as a regular guy and she received him as such. He didn’t even deny his marital status at the hotel. He was completely comfortable propositioning her and trying to pressure her into an affair. QingCheng saw KaiXi’s name on the call and instantly put two and two together. She left things ambiguous with King of the Wind, but removed her like from KaiXi’s post. They met at the hotel elevator and we aren’t told what happened in this episode. In this case, I feel bad for the dancer who took a chance on a guy. I did, however, think she was careless for her safety going to a hotel room to a guy she didn’t even know the name of. She did not set out to be the other woman because she despises that the most because of her dad. I am waiting to see how the three of them handle this situation. I am hoping she and Kai Xi clear the air in what happened and not between her and her friend’s chameleon spouse.

Relationships

This episode shows the chasm Man sees between her and Kai Xi’s social status. She was made acutely aware of this at the exclusive clothing store that would not give her access to the store until their private viewing was over. When her friend invited her up so casually that struck a chord. Man is both jealous of and relieved she does not have the married life of her friend. I wish Kai Xi would have approached QingCheng differently. Fake friendship wasn’t necessary. She could have been up front about her husband instead of assuming she was a younger gold digger that didn’t care about pursuing married men. Kai Xi’s husband is a POS who gives valentine gifts to multiples. I don’t think he would be of real interest to the dancer if she knew. I liked how Man cornered the couple therapy’s exploiting fears of housewives by offering ways to ā€˜change’ at very high prices for their products and services promising 100% success when truly meaning we will make you pay til success is reached no matter how long that may take. While promising refunds, they made sure to press another service with hope of success rather than refunding for failed venture. šŸ™„ Kai Xi did have a candid conversation once Man was booted from the room and it was sad that she hid all this from everyone. She is ashamed and feels truly alone. Zhou MuSun has started chatting with Man who is enjoying pushing his buttons. She has better understanding of the theme her diva actress wants and why there is an audience. While writing a script she sees the cheater and the dancer coming to meet him. This is after hearing about the special breakfast Kai Xi had prepared for him. He is such a loser.šŸ˜šŸ˜”

Best friends

This episode did an excellent job showing the complexities of best friend relationships. Man has always believed that her best friend did not think she measured up to introduce her to eligible men and Kai Xi had completely different motives for not. QingCheng has become her competition with her husband, so she was trying to appeal to her ego with flattery and introduce her to a different red flag to steer her away from hubby. What originally came across as a slighting of best friend was actually using that relationship as steady undercurrent to get through difficult situations. You have to admire Man’s ā€˜research’ and brazenness including herself at the dinner. This was the point where Kai Xi should have explained why she was playing matchmaker. As close as these two actually are, they really struggle with direct communication. šŸ˜ But what does come across, even if after the fact, is how enduring their friendship really is.

Elmina's betrayal

I think the betrayal of elmina is cause by the water dropped in her eyes in episode 1. Ryuga's fight scenes with three eyed horror is amazing.
