Such a Straight man like Xiaojue just confessed his feelings in front of everyone and the Emperor praised him "My View, My Mind, My Heart" 🤣, and the Empress supported He Yan serving in the Army, she was given the Title Marquis Wu'an. Hubby is so happy ☺️. His confession was beautiful. HRF is in for it, we've all seen it how much the Chancellor dotes on his Daughter Xu Pingting and HRF used his daughter to expose HY, Chancellor won't let it slide, it seems like the Chancellor's patience is running out with HRF, since he keeps scheming against HY behind his back and failing. I'm so tired of seeing HRF kneeling in front of the Chancellor again and again because he keeps fucking up all the plans🤣. Xu Jingfu called HRF "Hopelessly Foolish" I support you on this one🤣. Now HRF has shed all the pretense and clearly threatening Xu Jingu to take him down too if he's exposed, he won't die alone, he'll drag the Mastermind down with him, he didn't discard the evidence instead saved it for a day like this. It is so funny! 🤣 Just as they were about to kiss, His Ge, Saosao, TaoTao and Cheng Lisu were secretly looking at them from the corner. It's so awkward getting caught like this🤣. But her Moon was smiling 🤭. He really portrays a Man in Love perfectly, his eyes are brimming with Affection😍🤭. Another kissing scene ahhh!🫠 Funny to see STT hiding the betrothal certificate and she doesn't want to cancel her marriage with CL. HY told CZ everything about her and HRF's connection and how many evil deeds XJF has done, ahhhhhh he's supporting them, he'll help them if they need anything. So this scene was supposed to be in the later episodes where she wore a red outfit and finally stood at the entrance of the He Residence. While XJ visited the Xu Residence.

Sparring in the Banquet Hall

Just as He Rufei was targeting the Dart at He Yan, CZ arrived with XPT, and he couldn't shoot. Literally XPT recognised HY from that painting of CZ and abruptly asked her Who are you? HRF understood that CZ was interested in HY and he already knew that XPT was head over heels (toxic) for CZ. He intends to use XPT's feelings. Sure since he was a manipulator in Novel too, his character was written like that. He's manipulating her, so she would reveal in the banquet in Palace that He Yan is a woman and she's deceiving the Emperor (I don't remember if it was Xu Pingting in the novel who spoke in the Banquet hall that He Yan is a woman). Aww it was finally revealed that XJ taught the Qinglang Sword technique to HY (HRF) when she was in Xianchang Academy. Xiaojue was taking care of her even before he knew her🤭. AHhhhhhhhhhhhh! The confession! Now the Moon is yours🤭. Finally they kissed 🌝.Ready to enter the Palace. He Yan would've punched HRF right there is she wanted😂. She challenged He Rufei (General Feihong) in front of all the officials and the Emperor for a Spar. [Novel: you guys might not know but for readers this was one of the most iconic scenes in Novel, since she didn't have her sword Qinglang and she challenged him right here in the Banquet and reclaimed her Sword]. The Emperor gave them permission for the spar, even though HRF and XJF tried to deny it. Hubby Huaijin is quite proud of his Wifey. They had such a good match, I thought that they might have removed it from the Adaptation since the Sword has been in Hubby's possession since the beginning. But amazing they still included it, and super fun, it was amazing to watch ⚔️✨🤭. THAT WAS A FABULOUS MOVE!! PINNING HIS SWORD ON THE GROUND!!🤩 Everyone was shocked. Wifey totally crushed him! She ate and left no crumbs⭐. The Emperor was pleased with the match 🪭. The Empress entered the hall along with other noblewomen, Hah! Out of Jealousy she reported to the Emperor in the Hall that He Yan disguised as a man and joined the army and has been deceiving the Emperor🦊. [In Novel If I remember correctly then XJ already informed the Emperor about He Yan being a woman, and even declared that she's his fiancee]. Really I can't see anyone hating Zilan at this point, he was the first person who stood up for He Yan in the hall (ofcourse he can't compare to Hubby), but really after Xu Pingting said what she wanted, he was the first to stand up. Haha the Emperor asked Xiaojue how should I handle this🤣, cause the Emperor was already aware so it wasn't a identity reveal🤣.

Love in the Little Moments

Episode 6 was pure sweetness from start to finish. What made it so special was the shift in their dynamic, because this time it was JunXi who chased after Tuo and kissed him first. Usually it is Tuo who takes the lead, so seeing JunXi step forward with that kind of bold affection made the moment even more heartfelt.The way they opened up to each other touched me deeply. Tuo finally confessed why he used to date girls, not because he had feelings for them, but because he was young and naïve, and thought that distracting them would keep them from liking JunXi. His honesty showed how much he has grown, and when he apologized, it felt like a weight lifted between them. Communication like this is rare, and it made their bond shine even brighter.The tender little details melted my heart. They are gathering things so she can be free to dress as a lady. I am sure a part of her would rather have the option. She is used to needing the sword by her side with this group. Xiao Jue’s sibling has welcomed the new girlfriend to family. They are already making wedding plans. Ms Song interrupting the parental meeting to snatch back her marriage contract.🤣😂 Her mother blaming her father for both of them😂 These two are also fated. He RuFei meets chancellor Xu and when Xu wants to toss him reveals he kept incriminating correspondence. So now they are at an impasse of mutual survival or destruction. I like how He Yan handles the painting…I’ll hang on to it.😂 They are teaming up with Chu to get needed evidence. It’s about damn time. This is one thing all three are on same page about. I grinned at He Yan circling to prove no weapons attached at her home.😂 I am worried her mom isn’t present. I hope they get reacquainted. Her reluctance to drink tea they give her.😝 He RuFei draws a sword on her and the episode ends there. He already knows she can kick his sorry butt so not sure what he is trying to prove here with a witness. Xiao Jue gets the job of meeting with Chancellor to discuss He RuFei and the mastermind pulling his strings. They have not yet revealed what Chu’s job is. I am hoping he comes to He house with a warrant to search the place.😝 It will be a long wait til next episode. The small victories are piling up and the generals can finally be a couple in and out of uniform. 🥰

Grudges and revelations

He Yan learns from Yan He how Xiao Jue looked after her in class. She knew on the ointment but did not realize he had been her benefactor of good will for quite awhile. He RuFei missed his chance thanks to Chu for assassin dart, so he countered with Xu’s daughter. This was contrary to Xu’s directions, but he was too vain and petulant to care. The scene with the pouch❤️ As he lists off all their firsts, it just cements the foundation of friendship and love they have built on for longer than either realized. When he tells her she has the moon and hands her his wife’s to be pendant.🥰❤️ Her use of familiar name as they walk to the banquet and the barbs exchanged with fake general. Loved that she got to kick her brother’s ass publicly. They still don’t get who the real general always was. The spoiled brat came through and told on He Yan demanding a body check. 😝The emperor reveals the conversation he had with Xiao Jue. That was a very candid conversation to have with one’s superior. He touched even the emperor with their love story. The black/white only view Yang and Xu now twist it to show how this could undermine army and make it a regular practice. I fear once again Xiao Jue will bare the punishment. I really want the emperor to do something about the Xu’s, I am most tired of their machinations and colluding. So now to see how he chooses to handle the court with this revelation. 🫣😬

Playing the long game

Ruling figures out where Tingyan is. She still seems gray but her feelings for Tingyan seem to be sincere friendship. Poor Hei Nianju still has not figured things out yet. His human lessons are fun. She is trying to teach him how not to be cheated or taken advantage of. He says the words like a parrot, but I don’t think the meaning of the terms resonate with him yet. The man with the flame on his back has every appearance of being a scumbag. He is found in a brothel and has a plethora of concubines. When they ask him about his birthmark, it triggers a severe PTSD reaction. Neither truth or soul searching can get through his terror to determine the truth. The children of the concubines are being stolen and surmised to being used for nefarious purposes. It is looking like Shi is using a relative of Jiao as a stud and the women as breeders to produce a specific bloodline. He is trying to breed a workaround to Jiao. The concubine he really loves gets the daughter’s name and some explanation of why they tried to steal her child. Her love revealed Sima Jiao’s impersonation and she thanked them for saving her daughter. After seeing how Sima Jiao was treated since birth, it is a scary notion as to what these poor babies are being used for. I hope they find them alive and that Shi’s plan unravels soon. The 8 sects using children as ingredients for their schemes is disgusting. I want their plans to fail and the demon sect to get relief from their plight. Their crime so far has been simply that they exist. The hypocrisy and arrogance of these sects feigned superiority over them needs wiped out. This feasting on bloodlines also needs to go. I wonder what their world could be without literally feeding off each other but working together?
