The first episode was enjoyable and had its fair share of spooky or at least it will for those who get scared easily. The one thing that kind of bothered me at the beginning was that he knew the incantation to get rid of the spirit, but decided to run away instead. But also, I guess if you are living for almost 21 years seeing the dead, the most popular choices shows/movies usually go with are that you can either become badass and be mostly unaffected by it or be perpetually scared of it. So, his reaction while also a valid one, I just would have preferred he didn't run away. But that's just a personal preference.

I have to say that our 'little white dragon' and Dai Rong make a good combination~ Their little husband & wife undercover ploy at the medicine shop was hilarious. đ Qing Zhuo looks more manly in my eyes now for some reason. He still has his flaws, but that makes him human. Also, it teared me up watching Tong Shuang and Bei Ming's past... đ„ș I cried when I saw our baby Xue Man cry!đđđ

Wow â what a strong start to the series! Episode 1 was over an hour long, but it flew by without a single boring second. Every scene kept me completely engaged.Khemjira â my first BL that mixes ghost/horror with romance â yes, please! And Iâm so glad itâs not another high school or university trope. The music was great, the ghost effects were realistic, the acting was spot on, and the cinematography had such a fresh, polished feel â not cringey at all. The flashbacks were beautifully done, and the explanation of why the family is cursed â and why the mother gave the male lead a girlâs name, Khemjira â tied perfectly into the title. My prediction? Changing his name to a girlâs name wonât break the curse. But if Khemjira, as a boy, falls in love with another boy, that might be what finally breaks it. Just my guess since I havenât read the novel â but no way the main lead is dying before he turns 21. Also, Khem and Peemâs first meeting felt so natural â glad weâre not dealing with yet another âaccidental first kissâ trope. One of the most emotional moments was when Khem rescued that little boy. His father was an abusive alcoholic and drug addict â starving him, hitting him, even chaining him up. Khem saw the boyâs ghost mother and helped her save her son. That scene had so few words, but it was executed so powerfully. Now, the ghost mother can rest in peace. My guess is her death was caused by the abusive husband, which explains why she lingered around her son.It seems like the rest of the 11 episodes will each focus on different ghosts or spirits and uncover the stories behind their deaths â and Iâm so excited for it.Warning: Do NOT watch this alone at 2 a.m. I did because thatâs when it aired in my time zone â big mistake. Next time, Iâm watching in broad daylight⊠with the volume cranked up for the full experience.Yet another excellent Thai đčđ BL. Canât wait for the next 11 weeks!

Street Woman Fighter Season 2 Episode 1

Bada absolute won her battle. I did not think that Waxxy girl or Kristen did well and that Yoo Jin girl was def not better than Kristen. That was all bullshit. I literally watched that dance like they think she's good??? In what realm??? the Judges were full of shit! Redlic and Harimu both sucked. But Harimu won b/c Redlic gave up before the dance even started b/c she's still emotional about their fallout. I actually felt bad for Harimu b/c in her explanation Redlic didn't even let her explain the sitiation and that's probably why Redlic is still so hurt by it. I didn't think Audrey was that great either but she was better than both dancers she was up against.

Legend of the Female General Episode 11

The episode begins with reminiscing the battle of Mingshui and how it fits into things. How far back does this conspiracy go? He Yanâs squad try to surprise her with a trip to the hot spring. It was indeed a surprise. đ€ŁXiao Jue bails her out but uses a very lame excuse. Being physically weak would benefit even more with the hot spring.đ Ms Song has decided she must cure him and coming up with all sorts of medicinal concoctions to try. So if THAT is the issue, I guess she is trying to invent the little blue pillđHowever, at that point it seems the gossip would have been why did commander know? The squad pool their money to get her nutritious meals which I find quite sweet. They are looking out for their leader at their own personal expense. He Yan decides she has had enough and demands a private room which is surprisingly granted. Here He Yan is acting too familiar with her commander. Once they returned to garrison she was back to new recruit status. What was fun and engaging as his pretended nephew is completely inappropriate in a military setting. Xiao Jue has enough sources undermining his command without her adding to the list. Her continued stance of blackmail to get her way is beneath a prior generalâs actions. She figures out that he knew this battle was coming with the stack of military training books in the room.đ He treats her wound and notices the scars. This is an intimate moment. She soon learns her room is locked from the outside, so while close to the commander, she is also in âspyâ quarters to be monitored. They share a moon view together and apart. Disciple Chu has his own personal copy of the Chancellorâs fraud. Even he is surprised at the amount plundered from the military. He knows how capable Xiao Jue has proved to be over and over again, defying the odds against him. Yet he continues to be the one thrown under the bus at every opportunity.đHere disciple Chu leads the pack with his amoral ambition shining through. He is well matched with the pretty soft spoken daughter that slaps servants readily and mistreats them for unavoidable circumstances. Her petty selfishness shines through on a regular bases with a pat on the head from dear old dad.đChu has no reason to look judgmental at her actions when he lies to Xiao Jueâs face and sets him up for failure. The fake general has come to grovel for failed plans with his henchman. He is opportunistic and shortsighted, but does have the proper view of where he sits with officials. He has every reason to believe bribery would work. We can only agree after getting a peek at those ledgers under embezzlement.đ Xiao Jue gets a request for aid and must comply. Considering the additional travel difficulties, was this deliberately planned as the storm to come his way? Or is there yet more to come? While looking for more herbs to cure He Yan, Ms Song finds an injured man. He is believed to belong to a neighboring tribe but he is now inside the garrison with only He Yan to consider the consequences. Xiao Jue has his own difficulties when an alternate route is suggested. Is this one helping or setting them up?

Honestly, I think this episode added much needed perspective for all the characters involved. For Khanin we see a person who's having a hard time adjusting to his new role and suddenly having to do so alone when the person he fell for is technically right there and he has the power to bring him back. For Charan we see a glimpse of what his life was like before this whole thing started and we FINALLY see a dent on the perfect facade he was trying so hard to sell. For Ramil, I think we understand better why he needs to win and not make any mistakes. As much as this episodes bring out the bdsm and more... violent side of him, I think it also shows how much he cares to protect the one thing he was able to ever call his. Paytai clearly knows what he got himself into but we can also see that he cares about Khanin and unlike Ramil, he doesn't want anyone getting hurt for his own benefit. I sure hope they don't give away Calvin's real persona right away because I want to see where this plot can go.
