"I Really Regretted A Lot...For Saying I Regretted Meeting You. It's Exactly The Opposite."
"Midnight for Cinderella, 11 pm for Woo-Yeon/Woo Yun..."Some people gave this movie a bad review, here and elsewhere online, due to the ending...
I wanted to as well at first, but I believe that that director is trying to "say something" by the way this movie ended.
This movie was told from the main male cast, Hwang Woo Yun's (Kim Young Kwang} viewpoint. Much of what I want to say here is how I interpret the main female cast, Hwan Seung Hee' (Park Bo Young) viewpoint, if I may.
Hwang Woo Yun is a happy-go-lucky juvenile delinquent in high school, He probably never had a girlfriend before Seung Hee; if he did, it was only for the "good times" and nothing else. I believe he needed the influence of a girl like Seung Hee earlier in life as well.
I personally would like two see this movie redone, but from Seung Hee's viewpoint.
In a way, Seung Hee needed a Woo Yun in her life as well. Her and her mother, (actress Bae Hae Seon) have been living the life of nomads, trying to stay a step or two ahead of the father/husband (actor Jeon Bae Soo)..He is an alcoholic, abusive apparently to both his family members and blames his wife for his troubles; remember this for later!
Seung Hee, having to stay a step ahead of her father, probably has never had a boyfriend yet; it is implied that they must move every time Daddy finds them again, or suffer from his constant drinking and abuse . I believe that Seung Hee loved her father, but not what he did to her and her mother.
Many reviewers call her "aloof" or "unfeeling" here and on other review sites; I personally believe that she is simply afraid to get close to a guy, any guy, knowing that if her father finds them another move by her and her mother will happen. However, Woo Yun's "bad boy, 'devil-may-care" attitude offers her a glimpse of what it may be like if her and her mother can settle down in one spot long enough to enjoy life for a while. I think she enjoyed not having to be so stoic for awhile!
Seung Hee showed her maturity that she had, and that Woo Yun needed, when she asked him to stop fighting if he wanted to be around her, and she told him, under her breath (by simply using her lips, so her father wouldn't hear her) to "Go!" after her father broke the glass when he forced himself into his wife's and daughter's home. Seung Hee also called Woo Yun and told him that she and her mother were leaving again, due to her abusive father finding them there. Her having to run from her father and not being able to stay in one place is, in my opinion, the reason that she came off what most people call "little or no emotion"; she couldn't afford to show her emotions then have to leave. I also thought it showed great maturity on
Seung Hee's part that she let Woo Yun know why she was leaving and couldn't stay.
While she felt safe from her father, she showed signs of a normal high-school girl, enjoying her time she was with Woo Yun and her fellow high school female students. Do you think you might be somewhat "emotionless" if you did not know how long you can stay in any one place?
They lose contact with each other, and Woo Yun has no real ambition except an unskilled job; that is, until he sees Seung Hee photo in a promo for a university, which finally makes him get off his butt and STUDY for a change. I feel that his parents are proud of his finally shooting for something greater in life!
Woo Yun finally goes to college but finds Seung Hee with a boyfriend; he tried to first sabotage their relationship, then gives her up again when he wins the game to prove her football boyfriend was "throwing the football game' since he had promised both Seung Hee and another girl a weekend for the two of them afterward if his team won, not 'the three' of them! He leaves her upset over the stunt.
They met again when Seung Hee is working in promotions in front of a camera and he also is employed;he drivers her to locations after her ride cancels his taxi service..Woo Yun is again there when she needs him!
While trying to obtain his dream, he visits Seung Hee on-location of one of her shoots and gets hurt saving her, dashing his plans for an athletic career; instead of applying himself, getting a any job and helping her, he tried to get his health back in pursuit of his "dream" athletic job! He could have helped her with any job, then working on getting back his "dream".
This movie depicts how it takes a woman sometimes to get a men motivated for greater things in the real world work: some call this "fate" but other call it physical attraction! This attraction to his lost love is the reason for Woo Yun for finally striving for something greater than a 'burger-flipping' job; it is Woo Yun that gains the most, in my opinion, in this relationship.
Woo Yun went from an amateur athlete dreaming of glory in sports to a teacher, who finds out how big of an ass he was to others while growing up! He matures so much after having to get a real job and put his dreams on hold.
Seung Hee being the more responsible one is paying the bills; however, she tells Woo Yun of a training assignment in Europe for 2-3 years where she can learn to master her profession . But before that can be discussed further, Seung Hee's father dies...again, she really loves her father, but in her pain of losing him, all the pain of trying to live with him while he degraded her and her mother while in his drunken state comes back during the funeral. While Seung Hee is remembering all the things he said and done, Woo Yun opens his mouth and says the one thing that will end their relationship: he is overheard by her saying that "she" could be the reason he cannot make it!
This opens up all the wounds he had caused her in the past, added to this is what her father claimed about his wife/her mother. Seung Hee realizes that Woo Yun is becoming her father! This seals the relationship and Seung Hee takes the job opening and training in Europe that her job offers her.
Woo Yun is left to fend for himself and finally makes the grade to become a teacher. He then finds out how much of a pain he was to his teachers when he finds students under his supervision with the same attitude he displayed when he was a high school student!
In my opinion, had Woo Yun found a job such as this when he and Seung Hee were together, his attitude would have improved and his maturing would have been greatly admired, and appreciated, by Seung Hee.
Both were immature in different ways, but Woo Yun needed to "grow up" more than Seung Hee; on the other hand, she was handicapped in her relations with men due to her father, and that hurt her acceptance of Woo Yun as well.
At the end of the movie, both are mature enough to have a marriage, but not to each other, unfortunately!
I personally like this movie better than the Chinese adaptation entitled My Love (你的婚) (2021):
Both Woo Yun and Seung Hee express their gratitude for each being in the other's life: for Seung Hee making Woo Yun a man, and for Woo Yun for being there for Seung Hee when she needed someone...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjxn216CYaQ whereas You Yong Ci, the female in My Love (2021), didn't say as much to Zhou Xiao Qi, her love for 15 years.
Another great movie about an immature couple getting married and later regretting not sticking it out will be found in Drama Special Season 3: The Wedding Planner (2012), an excellent movie as well!
The cinematography is great, even though some of the shots look like they were done on a hand-held camera...which would how some of the scenes would have been shot if done by a friend with them or them. This to me makes the movie actually more believable as we follow the main cast around town, which almost all of the movie is about.
The music is also great, except for one place, which I figure the director knew better than I about its placement.
The main cast were excellent together and they actually seem to grow as a couple; again, some mention that the female is less emotional than the male lead, but her wariness of establishing a real relationship then having to move again would make this necessary: I actually felt that she was thinking about Woo Yun's feelings should it have happened in the movie.
The support cast did an excellent job in their parts and for supporting the main cast in telling the movie's story.
It is a one to one and a half box of Keenex movie.
RE-WATCH: Yes, but I also think that a movie like this should be mandatory for young people in middle school to watch in order to show them that individuals must give up some of their "needs" and "desires" in order for them to become a compatible couple. Young people are not taught except selfishness these days, and the couple must give up some of their "individuality" so that when the babes come along, they can handle the stress, problems (but also) the pleasures of a family!

Worth for your time..!
My mind is filled with so much joy right now because i watched another superb feel good Movie from Philippine, i always curious about their film making, When other's are trying to make different type of films and experimenting everything, here they still going on the same path, nothing much about the story and screenplay but still it make you smile after you finish. The story is very simple our hero, his name is Domino and yes, your prediction is absolutely right he is color blind after an accident and for our heroine's named Cara, Both of them were best friends and know each other very well, the story developing simply in a very cliche atmosphere and it was light and sweet till the end.
Another biggest factor about Philippine movies are the mood that it creates which was amazing and refreshing every time you watch, the leads are the best, worth for your time, even if you're little down today it will definitely boost up your mood, just try it

IT’S A GOOD START FOR 2022 ( BL MOVIE)
Well, this was a good movie. I love the storyline, scenery, actors and all aspects. The ost is very good. I love how they make this movie, with good moral values, how they preserved the ocean.. I love this movie.. Really good one..I love how they start the movie, the plot, the climax and the ending, everything was smooth and perfect. I cried quite a lot.. hahaha but yeah.. it was a very good one..
Be noted, that the rating for viewers is 18+.. there is some sex scene, and nudity.

The Pirates 2: The Last Royal Treasure

Is the treasure really gold or the friendship built along the way?
I was pleasently surprised by the film, read the synopsis and meh just for the cast I'll give it a go. However it was far from that, a great adventure comedy and really engaging.Acting was solid as expected, key reason why this film was a very funny one, facial expressions and tones were spectacular.
Kwang Soo was here so I expected this to be wayyy lighter than the original pirates, Which it does. this can be a bad or good thing but in this case it was good, if it leaned more to the serious side, It wouldn't have the same impact.
Production was an eye candy, the CGI and cinematography was well done, comparable to western pirate films.
It does get slower as it progresses, 140mins was too much.
Don't expect anything mind-blowing in terms of plot, cheesy ending, just the way you'd expect it, no plot twists or shocking revelations.
Something to take note is reading carefully the origin given at the beggining, will really come in handy as the problems start to occur.
I'm a sucker for action comedy movies, adding a pirate genre didn't hurt, overall I enjoyed the childish comedy and hunt for treasure, would have wanted to seen more Chae Soo Bin though.

A Hard Watch — Exhausting!
This movie is seriously underrated, when it's one of the best action-thriller movie I've ever watched! If someone underestimate Korean for being too girly and too cheesy (nothing wrong with this, tho), then you should give them this! You really have to be mentally (and probably physically) prepared before you watch this movie. This movie is basically about a man who got bad lucks a whole day (like, really really bad) and I think my heart was beating super fast for the entire movie.
But don't worry, you'll get super satisfied by the ending.

Fascinating Idea, Too Problematic Plot & Execution
It should've been a great queer movie. The idea was genius — your loved one is dead and years later you found someone who acts exactly like your past lover but as someone who has the same gender as you are? What a touching yet heartbreaking idea. But it would be too problematic if you add cheating and horrible age gap (a grown man teacher and an underage student). Plus, the obsession the teacher had with his student is just make it worse.
The weirdest part of this movie in my opinion was when the student suddenly realized that he is his teacher's past lover. Does reincarnation work that way? Become fully what they used to be? Can't they have their own feelings? It feels more like he's being possessed with the teacher's past lover.
The best thing about this movie is its duration. I didn't really waste my time to watch this. I was so curious about how the remake would be, but sadly it's cancelled.

Good Start to Car Racing Movies
If you have never watched any car racing/street racing movies, this is a decent one to start with. The cast did well with acting. The story was interesting enough; mysteriousness mixed in with superstition. Beautiful cars and city scape. Good camera work, especially showing what the drivers' feet did and shifting of gears, when racing. However they tried to make the Blue Z car like Steven King's Christine (the DEVIL aspect) and failed. Also the green screens used for just driving down the street, not the racing portion, were super noticeable. Leaving the parking lot and even some of the street racing, they just sped up the film and it looked extra cheesy. Decent FX at the end of the movie, but the wounds of the young driver looked like ketchup. Adding the Female teacher wasn't needed and could've been left out completely. The music often didn't fit with the scene, I ended up muting some of it.
It's an action movie, so I didn't expect any character growth or serious development. It was fun enough and great car engine sounds. Maybe this movie inspired some of the Fast and Furious franchise movies.

I cried. I cried so hard that I actually felt sick. I can't remember this ever happening to me. This was a wonderful movie but so incredibly sad that just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes.Fukushi Sota was amazing as Satoru - and Satoru was an amazing character. Inspiring in his inherent sweetness and kindness. The way he touched the lives of everyone around him, the way he brought the best out of people! Roles like that suit Fukushi Sota so well because he truly has the sweetest smile, he has the ability to make his eyes laugh!
The movie also featured the late Takeuchi Yuko as Satoru's aunt, Noriko, which added to the sadness of it. Because she was a great actress and her death two years back made the world a little... less.
Takahata Mitsuki as the voice of Nana the Cat was perfectly chosen, too. Nana's petulance but also his - yes, the cat was a male, though Takahata Mitsuki is female - love for Satoru, the way Nana adored his owner and stayed with him till Satoru's very last moments.
A beautiful, but also a terribly sad movie. Don't watch it if you feel depressed or down. But do watch it if you feel like having a good cry. The movie is worth your tears.

Yes to everything!
I loved everything in this movie!I laughed at the funny and cheerful moments. I was sad when the couple had their communication issues and intrigued when the two would 'play'. (Also, where did they go for all of those 'play' moments? Because yeah, I've heard of the Love Hotels/Motels in Japan and S.Korea but wow! Those places were so cool!)
Love the characters, the acting, the cinematography, the plot, and the way it ended. This film did so much better than any other film when it came to introducing BDSM. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to understand what good communication in a relationship looks like.
Listening to Girl's Generation for more than ten years makes me nostalgic for the maknae of the group to lead in this film. I loved her performance and how tasteful this film was and how mature she was able to portray her character.
This is cute, fun, serious (the research done for the Dom before she tried anything when they play), sensual, colorful, relatable (especially in the office scenes), and chaotic. I'm watching this again, not going to lie.

SOMEONE SAVE ME FROM THIS CRINGE!!
WARNING: THE EMBARRASSMENT LEVEL IN THIS MOVIE IS SECOND TO NONE!Before we get into details, let me tell you a single thing: This movie is worth it. It will surely deliver that good laugh and for viewers that notice same details, i promise you that you shall not be disappointed.
My story: I watched it on impulse. i saw it on my recs in Netflix and thought why not? Who knew i would be so invested in 15 mins.
The starting of the movie is quite hard to process but then things fix after the time slip (which comes in the first 3 mins so isnt a spoiler). Then things start to pick up speed. Slapstick was the language spoken and comedy was the language understood. Our ML and FL was *chef's kiss* but lets not forget the side heroes. MY DEAR GAWD. The situation was embarrassing but realistic and dumb. But what caught me was the ending. Unlike normal movies, this movie has a "rich happy ending" lets say?
Our ML and FL was great all thanks to KHN and HHJ which we kinda expected so i am not getting into it cause yall know. But the star of the show was LKS. My guy literally was mood throughout the show. CSB was me. Genuinely connected with her the whole show and we have the same taste in men too. I mean, come on, OSH was hot af. Silent but deadly, ever heard? The bandits turned pirates and pirates was band to be made in heaven. This stellar cast movie as far as i am concerned was BOOTIFUL.
This movie does however come close to Pirates of the Caribbean but not the same vibe. POTC is and always will be better since they got (drunk) Johnny Depp. The reason The Pirates: TLRT and POTC are almost close is because, again let me highlight, of their endings. POTC set the cliché but TP: TLRT set a different tone.
Why dont you guys try it? I bet a piece of eight you will love it!

The acting and the plot is good, but...
I really wanted to LOVE this movie. BUT…This movie has a REALLY interesting plot. BUT the characters are the weakest part of the movie. While watching a movie we want to root for a character or at least understand them. In this movie we learn the history of both killers but still it lacks emotion. And for the daughter she doesn‘t have much influence on the film tbh. She‘s just there to create this thing between the killers. She has no character developments. From the start till the end she’s the naive daughter/damsel in distress. The acting is good. Sol Kyung Gu is AMAZING. Seolhyun isn’t a great actress but her acting in this movie was good and believable. Kim Nam Gil’s acting was also good. Another thing about this movie is that it has so many twists and at some points you don‘t try to connect the dots because you‘re lost, you just watch it. It becomes complicated and starts to lack sense. I don‘t think I‘ll remember what happened in this movie in a week.

An important movie about an important issue
This movie is really well done it starts of a bit fuzzy and will probably make you wonder why the **** I gave this 9,5 stars but as the story continues the viewers get to learn more and more about the story... And this is done brilliantly, not only with zooming in/out photo angles etc. But mainly how this is cut with more and more details as the movie goes forward making you at first (much like many victims) think oh that was not so bad... but wait... ok that happened too... inviting viewers in to the thought process of how a person can react to this situation. This movie is in NO WAY a romance or.a feel good, or a gay story for that matter. It is the story of a person who has been molested by a predator as well as his journey to acceptance if there is any acceptance.
It is a movie that deals with common reactions to molestation, common misconceptions and beautifully shows and talks about power relations without, ability to consent, signals etc. Clearly showing non consensual behaviour, grooming etc. Calling the behaviour out for what I is , teaching us a lot but without coming of as an afternoon special and is a movie I do think many people need to watch, but beware of triggers, I also think many young (or any people for that matter) could use a knowledgable person to talk to after watching this.
So what do I say, it is a f*** important movie, dealing with an important subject done in a really good way!

It's Depends on your perspective on how you relate to it
I love that this drama will help you think right off the bat because of it's straightforward approach, but i think that the pacing is too fast at first. Like being interviewed immediately by an unknown person or entity.(but i guess it's necessary for a plot)Most of the scene is from thai movie with the same title name but they change the characters and the sequence of scenes. Shiro is so jolly and completely different from Makoto which is perfect and nicely as expected from Nagao kento 1st movie debut as lead.
Lastly i hope that this drama will not encourage viewers to view life after watching this drama negatively. It's just that Makoto is just to overwhelmed by too much expectations or trials.
i hope that they learn that this is continuous daily fight until we end our longterm Homestay in a normal way of treating it.

How can i hate you when you are the one i love
This film is so great! The chemistry of the two lead male is incredible. For me, this film can show the meaning of choice. Everyone have to decided how to show or hidden their feeling which is a very hard choice. From this film i get the meaning of "Love have a bloom season and the true love is not about a physical relationship"
The soundtrack of this film is wonderful and can delivered the message of this film well
The sinematography and the idea of this film is fresh and satisfying to watch.

From my point of view, I feel that this movie is quite a reflection of Thai society in the past and present. Because in the past, LGBTQ+ relationships were considered unacceptable. So we have seen family quarrels and see how characters solve their problems. Personally, the theme of the story is about unrestricted love. Because when Dew died, he was reborn as a woman named Lew. Phop still feels in love with the same person. which means that Phop doesn't love someone by their gender but Phop loves someone from what they really are. That allows us to really see the essence of love without having anything else to do with it. Personally, I think the movie is well designed. The way the story was run was neither too fast nor too slow, the location used for the shoot was consistent and very realistic. And most importantly, all the actors in the story portray the characters very well. Dew made the audience believe that Dew can love Phop unconditionally. They just want to be together and that already makes Dew happy. The reason that Phop resists his feelings with Dew is one of the impacts of Thai society in the past that did not accept LGBTQ+ but when Phop grew up. He understood and sought out some truths that he should have known.Make the audience believe what the movie tells. Overall, This movie is therefore a movie that both tells a love story and reflects society for the new generation to see at the same time. I watched this twice because I want to keep all the details. In fact, this movie has a lot of hidden meanings that the director wants us to see. It is highly recommended to go and see how good this movie is. Was this review helpful to you?
