A good attempt ... But sadly not executed
Okay so if this was an attempt to try and do a BDSM movie, or recreate 50 Shades then this movie was a complete fail!!The only reason I am giving this 6 star is for the attempt and the funny moments that were in this movie, but either than that it was really very disappointing to out right boring.
Firstly - I think the writers should have done an in-depth search on BDSM.
Secondly - The main leads did not suit each other one bit, they were both so stiff and not even well matched to say the least, the one pro on this, is that at least the female lead was a dominant, but again she did not suit this part and definitely did not come across as a dominant at all.
Thirdly - the whole DS relationship was so off track that you could not feel or even excited trying to watch it, I was really disappointed. They had right the name, for the movie but it just was not executed properly.
Now I am not sure if this taboo in Korea, considering that there are some really good BL coming from, but in all honestly if they are going to do BDSM they need to get the story, as well proper characters, to play these kind of roles (more like the couple from nevertheless)
The only other good thing of this movie, I guess you could say is the introduction to this lifestyle and that is portraying a male submissive as pathetic, but that it was not the case in the slightest. it did show by putting up definitions and explanations of terms on screen to make it easier to understand, but again it was not executed in the right, I think the writers/producers should have used 50 shades as a basis to understanding the lifestyle.
Overall: For me this movie was a bit of disappointed, but it in the same token it was an okay attempt to BDSM lifestyle.

Great twists and turns! Better than the prequel!
I just watched it because I thought this will just be like the 1st movie, but hey I was wrong! Good thing I watched it even if it is kinda late now!At first I thought the prequel is better but as the story goes I find it way way better than the prequel.
The story, the twists and turns are all good and well written. Kudos to the writer, director, casta and the team. This movie made me laugh, cry and I'm touched by how it ended.
They didn’t focus on the trial process compared to the prequel. This time we've seen a lot more about the Guardians' past and it all make sense at the end. Try watching it!
I'm now looking forward as to how they will show us the 3rd movie! Worth watching!

It’s funny and overall it’s okay…
The comedy part is the best part of the movie. It’s enjoyable and made me laugh hard. Lee Kwang Soo's character is kinda annoying sometimes but he is the funniest and he has the funniest scenes.
The romance between KHN and HHJ felt off, kind of unnecessary. Maybe would have been better without that part. But that’s just me.
At first, I thought they saw the treasures so easily but then there’s still a twist. Nice editing and good sceneries.
Although the ending between CSB and OSH is cute!
Overall it’s just an okay movie. Good movie to kill time. You can try watching it!

Good Concept, Poor Execution
I adore Crazy Little Thing Called Love (2010), so I was excited to see the main couple starring together again in this Netflix movie. But what a disappointment AI Love You turned out to be. The production and special effects level are pretty well done, but the poor writing, poor editing, poor directing, and in some cases poor acting doom this movie. The concept is intriguing since we are starting (or already have) to live and function with technology: we are constantly on our smart phones, our homes are integrated with smart technologies, we ask Alexa or Siri questions and for directions, etc. So, it’s not too far fetched that in the future our lives and that of AIs will be even more connected. The execution and writing of this movie, however, somehow turn a potentially great movie into a hot mess: cartoonish bad guys, lack of chemistry between any of the actors including the main couple, and that horrible abrupt and confusing ending. Of all the ridiculous scenes in this movie, the one that still has me shaking my head is the ML lifting his shirt in a full restaurant and showing off his nipple to the FL. Face palm. This scene deserves to be on the cutting floor during editing, and maybe about 90% others, too.Was this review helpful to you?

All in all, a solid move but with no satisfactory ending.
I went into this expecting bad acting and a high amount of cheese but I left wanting more.First off the acting by the group was incredibly decent considering this is a pre-debut movie. While none of them felt like seasoned actors, they all looked like they at least had acted before. They also got some really big names to act along side them which made it even better.
Second the production. FNC really dropped some money into this. Even the CGI, which can make or break a movie like this, was pretty good. Not great, I HAVE been ruined by Hollywood blockbuster CGI but it was not bad at all.
Third, the story. I was really intrigued. I found the story to be interesting, with a Terminator sort of vibe. Only with a virus instead of an AI. It takes place across three timelines and the members are split among the three. Some have powers and some don't. I want to write more but I have to keep out the major spoilers.
The only problem is it does end on a cliffhanger that is supposed to be answered by the groups actual debut music video, Siren. It did not and there were questions about certain things that were in the movie that can't be answered in a music video. I'm gonna need a lot more than that to finish the story. I am also not the type to do lore homework on groups so that is not a good way to get me to understand a story.
It was a solid movie. I wouldn't expect more than what it was. Just wish I had gotten an ending.

Breaking bread...
Here is a movie that finally gives the credit and love bread deserves, putting it in the centre and showing that it can not only been made in different shapes and sizes, and different flavours but that it can even give people a feeling of belonging, purpose and just the thought of getting to eat more bread can even give those in need a reason to live...The movie has a lot of beautiful shots and I understand that it has the potential to move and touch people, just not me ... I do not know if it is my mindset or a general numbness that I have towards stories that seem to romanticise the simple life or if it was the setting that put me off of it but. For those who do like to fantasise about the simple life in the country side surrounded by fields forests with a lake view this movie is definitely something for you!
The food looks amazing, the characters seem and sweet, some are cuter than other but over all kind of bland,,,
also the couple seems genuinely nice and the whole book feel to it is soothing... Had I not had enough of the countryside, having spent a few years there myself and realising it is not my type of bread... I too would have wanted to open a bed and bread, I mean bed and breakfast where I get to meet broken people that can be mended with bread...
All in all a pretty well made movie, with a lot of niceness to it...

Phenomenal!
I watched this a few years ago because I was home for the holidays and trying to avoid my brother's (then) girlfriend. It was the first time seeing SJK but I already loved the FL and so I watched it for her.
To say that I was BLOWN AWAY is an understatement. It was absolutely beautiful and profoundly sad all at the same time. I would still randomly cry the next day every time I thought of a particular scene and my brother's gf (now ex thank goodness) thought I suffered from depression.
This movie gave me emotional whiplash in the most painful way but it is honestly still one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen. I'm not sure I'll rewatch it over and over again because a) My poor heart but also b) I don't want to ever spoil the impression that the acting and the story has made on me.
This has cemented Song Joong ki as one of my favourite actors ever. He was terrific in this! In fact, everyone was. Park BoYoung as well!
This movie is phenomenal. Please watch it!

Toho goes all in with marketing this Mothra movie to a young audience. There’s a plethora of rainbows, glitter, fluffy animals, and silly humor. The three main human characters who are grade school age find a Furby-like creature, Gorgo, who appears at the same time as a ferocious water Kaiju, Dagahra. The Elias are back, good fairies Moll and Lora, and their trouble making sister Belvera.
The first half of the movie dragged for me, as the fairies and children took center stage fighting to see who would take custody of the furry little critter. Eventually, it’s revealed that a long-lost advanced civilization, Nilai Kanai, had polluted the waters and created Dagahra to feed on the pollution. The unfortunate by product were destructive starfish called Barums who destroyed life in the ocean. Eventually Dagahra turned on his creators and destroyed the once great city, going dormant until the pollution in the ocean roused him once again.
Lora, Moll, and Gorgo guide the children to where the city used to be and with Gorgo’s powers they travel beneath the ocean into the pyramid structure as it once again rises above the ocean. On their tails are two bumbling crooks guided by Belvera. It turns into a race to find the treasure which can stop the Dagahra who has taken his battle to land as well where he properly obliterates buildings. Mothra shows up to do battle with the Dagahra and the adventure finally swings into full motion.
For a 1997 children’s movie the special effects are fine. There are lots of lightning bolts, monster fights, and glittering rainbows. The miniatures were well made and Dagahra makes a menacing enough foe for the beautiful Kaiju. Mothra is granted new powers as well. The film’s score is rousing when it needs to be.
Rebirth of Mothra II may not be something most adults would enjoy, it would help to have younger children watching with you or to let the child inside you respond to a simple adventure story of developing friendship and redemption. Though it's post 1990, I did give it a small ratings bump as it was aimed for children and I wasn't its targeted audience.

Very annoying brother...
I would like to split this movie in to to half 1st, supposedly comedy filled with annoying characters, bad habits there to make you hate the older brother so much that you almost wish him dead... Being a sexist, shameless conman... of the worst kind. And the younger brother being kind of depressed after loosing his eyesight... can't blame him for that...The other half will make that wish come true... teaching us to be careful what we wish for, and is a complete turn around, en explosion of character development making you wish him well... Hoping he will live long and prosper for all eternity... ok maybe not, but apparently it It takes a terminal illness to get an annoying brother to stop being annoying...
I admit I was annoyed so the first half was really not my cup of coffee, but I can not blame the writers, directors or the actors, it is not as if they did not warn me with the title and all... The acting was mostly good and the story pretty unique. There is a lot of character development,
So not really my cup of coffee but a pretty okay movie... at least the second part was good.

Love and Leashes is an K-movie .
With adequate fun and sexy performances, Love and Leashes finds just the right amount of raunchy comedy to such delightful delights. But one could easily put forth the argument that one of the most obvious flaws of the movie is actually the light raunchy comedy outweighing its romance. Despite a handful of funny performances and set pieces, I would like to see more romance between the charming and eye candy leads. Lee Jun-young is the real creative force here, creating a heightened sense of timing for his role and Seohyun's irresistible character that is sure to gain a dedicated following of its own. Also, the movie is an eye opener and will certainly divide people. All in all, Love and Leashes is an unexpected K-movie offering of this year with an entertaining encapsulation of its theme.🥰Was this review helpful to you?

Reminds me of the Pirates of Carribean but this is a funnier version
It was a hilarious adventure movie that is good to watch with the family. There's nothing too different about the plot however the chemistry of the casts made it a fun movie to watch. I love how they interact with each other despite bickering and such, they got each others back. I also love the action scenes while they were fighting the see or swords fighting.Han HyoJoo portrayed the balance of a dependable captain. Kang HaNeul as a good leader and fighter. Lee KwangSoo as the same icon of betrayal from Running Man. Of course, the quiet but cool archer and fighter, SeHun. Love the casts really~
I recommend this movie for a family night if you just want to relax and laugh with your family.

friendships and first loves
I never saw the manga, so my rating is just based on the movie itself. It had some heavy content in terms of life experience of a youth, but I felt it handled it pretty well. The only part they glazed over was the depression that ML (Kou) felt and Yui felt too. Other than that it's a great movie about friendship. The romance parts were cute and sweet. The music was okay and the production mostly good. The writing was okay too. The scenery was beautiful, especially the sunset landscape shots. The reasons I didn't rate it higher like others, is because the crying and emotional moments fell a little flat, which could be the Director's fault or maybe the cast aren't as experienced as actors. The supporting role characters really didn't have much development or storyline and I wish that they had. IF this had been made into a series instead of a movie, to give it more time for character development and growth, I think my rating would've been higher.
It's a good watch, especially for a high school drama and those new to watching high school rom-com dramas. A solid 6.5/10!

I didn´t get the meaning of this movie´s existence until the "based on true story" at the end. I tried to finish it for the two male leads and their friendship, but it was impossible without skipping throught the second half. I saw some movies with simmilar topic, but this one seemed to have no plot at all. It felt too superficial and only consisted of annoying yankee yelling accent, overdramatic decisions and lot of useless raw fighting. Also I had to adjust the sound all the time. Acting wasn´t bad, still I can´t give more than 3 points overall. Was this review helpful to you?

I have had a few of you like the Long and detailed synopses on some of these movies, but this one will not be one of them! This movie was too long to do it that way.
First, I am disappointed how some 'critics' compared this movie to director Kwak Jae Yong's movies before, My Sassy Girl (2001), and after this one, Windstruck (2004}. This movie is a drama/love story with some humorous parts in it; while the other two are comical movies with drama in them. There should be no comparison, except for quality...
This movie was made, in my opinion, to be a masterpiece that stands the passage of time.
My Sassy Girl (2001) and Windstruck (2004) are part of a "My Sassy Girl Trilogy" by director and screenwriter Kwak Jae Yong. "My Sassy Girl" is the first in the series and "Windstruck" the second, with the 2008 Japanese film "Cyborg She" being the last one. These three are not about a traditional girl, as this one is, and the comedy is given more emphasis in the other two than here.
This is a traditional movie with traditional characters and traditional values being embraced.
I have no idea why he did "The Classic" between the the first two of the "Sassy Girl" series, but they are only connected by their Screenwriter/ Director Kwak Jae Yon did "Daisy" as screenwriter and "3 Colors Love Story" as director (both 2006) between the 2nd and 3rd of the "Sassy Girl" series.
This I believe will be a classic movie in the future, when all is said and done.
In my opinion, comparisons of this movie should be between his "Daisy" and /or "3 Colors Love Story" and this movie.
The main cast here are excellent! There is a great acting from both the main female and three main male cast (I include Yoon Tae Soo (Lee Ki Woo) since he appeared in more of the movie than Oh Sang Min (Jo In Sung) did.
Joo Hee / Yoon Ji Hye (Son Ye Jin) was excellent in her roles as mother and also her daughter and exhibited a wide range of emotions as both the young daughter of an important official and again as Ji Hye, her daughter.
The two men pursuing the mother, Oh Joon Ha (Jo Seung Woo) and Yoon Tae Su/Soo (Lee Ki Woo) performed with the abilities of older, more experienced actors and played their parts, both as best friends and of rivals for the same girl, brilliantly. All three of these cast members effectively portrayed individuals in love, and as both friend and also rivals wishing the other suitor of wasn't so attached to the female. whose love they are fighting for.
Also, Oh Sang Min (Jo In Sung) performed his role effectively as well! And his acting after being told of his father and his lost love was excellent, as if he was a carbon copy of his movie father, Oh Joon Ha!
The support cast also performed as if they were the characters that they were playing, and supported the main cast appropriately.
I loves the way that the adolescent cast members felt 'inadequate' in writing their own love letters and involved their best friends in this task, and the difference between the two parts here in the movie as well.
I loved the cinematography, plus the placing of the music at what seems just the right moments to both support the story and also bring the audience to an emotional apogee! I would also love to live in the area of the river/reservoir; it is so beautiful!
The scenes in the school are also very convincing, and even the house the mother, then daughter, lived in make such a statement toward the ambiance in this movie. The director and his assistant(s) did a spectacular job on this movie!
I have said in other reviews of other movies that I wished that the director has spent another 10 to 20, to however many minutes, on developing the main characters more; this movie seemed to be perfect in this respect as to length. Time was taking to develop the four main characters to the point where the audience 'felt' for all of them, even as the audience knew that someone would ultimately lose in their quest for their love being fulfilled in these triangles!
I think Kwak Jae Yong took a lesson out of director Akira Kurosawa's movie "Seven Samurai (1954) in his total development of his main characters, taking his time telling the story of Joo Hee / Yoon Ji Hye/Oh Joon Ha/Oh Sang Min and Yoon Tae Soo. That is most of the reason I believe that in the future , this movie will be thought of as a true movie classic and not just in name)!
WARNING: This is at least a two-box-of-Kleenex movie, so don't start the movie without at least one box on hand, and someone heading for the local store to obtain another box of Kleenex before you reach the halfway point, or simply buy two boxes of Kleenex beforehand
RE-WATCH VALUE: Definitely!
