Nani?
I've watched all 4 movies (no shame) and since I didn't write a review for TSD 2... I'm here for the finale.Ok, well if you're looking for something that will mind f*** the s*** outta you then LOOK NO FURTHER! I will openly say Part 1 was my fav. This wasn't really "bad" it just threw unnecessary amounts of unnecessary stuff everywhere. The plot holes were endless then would suddenly all be solved by these bouts of AH-HA! Moments. If you've made it this far in this series, it's still not for the faint heart.
I wanna say Ruka is bae but maybe just bae... adjacent lol
and YES... you have to watch them in order.
Enjoy...

Must Watch for Fluke Fans and Non-fans Alike!!
Scary Movie meets Ghost Ship (2002) meets the Sixth SenseGhost Ship is Comedic Horror Gold! It's not scary at all. Some jump scares here and there, but Fluke and the three stooges put all the horror in the back seat. I'm not a big horror fan, but I can definitely watch this with the lights off.
If you have some time definitely watch this because you'll enjoy it.
STORY:
Yorla, Kala, and Solui are working on a ship when they discover the dead body of Mia in the kitchen. They panic and wonder if they should tell the boat owner or not, but hey are disturbed by Nick, the boat owner's son. When the trio decide to get rid of her body, so they don't get blamed for her death. When they return to look for her body it's gone. Now Mia's spirit is loose on the ship wreaking havoc. Later they find a very much a live Mia and Nick together. They learn that Mia, Druglord Tao's wife, is having an affair with Nick and that he smuggled Mia on board so when they get to their destination they can leave and live a better life. The trio are relived at first, but if Mia is alive, then who are the spirits haunting the ship?
You must watch Ghost Ship! It's a amazing movie. There is so many twist and turns that it keeps you on your toes. The comedy is really slapstick and the trio, now referred to as the three stooges, are comedic gold! There is a smidge of romance between Mia and Nick, but of course we are here for the horror. The horror isn't really scary. It's a lot of jump scares more than anything. Still, it's a good watch.
Three Stooges
Yorla, Kala, and Solui are the heart of the movie. Yorla is a transgender woman who is working on the ship to save money for her surgeries. (So yes, aside from the heart, SHE is physically all HE at the moment.) A lot of the comedy centers around the three of them, although most are at Yorla's expense. (I should add that the scream queen of this film is Yorla, by the way.) Most of the film centers around them and how they handle the spirits aboard the ship. Some highlights include Yorla's hair pulling fight, Yorla and Kala's kiss, and the three stooges battling a spirit.
While most of the three stooges' screen time if filled with comedy when we hit the climax, the movie turns into a legit horror film and all the actors bring their A game. Gone is the slapstick, and here is the three men fighting for their lives. Kala, who later plays a bigger role towards the climax, gets a series action scene, while Yorla brings tears to our eyes after being shot. It's amazing how the actors can all go from making us laugh to worrying for their lives in a split second. That is talent.
Mia & Nick
Mia and Nick are the romantic couple of the story. They remind me a lot of Jack and Rose from the Titanic. They have a forbidden romance, and they give just enough romance to keep us cheering for the couple without taking away from the horror or comedy. Mia, as a spirit, is frightening, yet once we find out she is a live she is as innocent and helpless as every other female in a horror movie. Nick and the other "men" (since we have to include Yorla) are constantly saving her. My one concern is that the three stooges are the main characters for most of the movie, yet as soon as we hit the climax, the main character is now Mia and Nick. The ending with Nick really gets to me. It's so heartbreaking, yet heartwarming.
Tao & The Spirits
While Mia's spirit is set up to be the antagonist, the real antagonist is Tao and the spirits haunting the boat. I won't say too much since I don't want to spoil it, but just keep your eye out on Tao. He only has a few minutes of screen time, but that doesn't mean he's innocent.
ACTING:
The acting in Ghost Ship is superb, especially the three stooges. Yorla, Kala, and Solui are amazing with their slap stick comedy, but when it's time to act they are amazing. They can make you go from laughing your eyes out to crying your heart out in a split second. Especially Fluke, who plays Yorla. If you've seen his other roles, and you watched this movie without knowing he was in it, you wouldn't be able to tell it's him. Such an amazing actor.
This film incorporates comedy, horror, romance, action, and everything in between and all the actors are able to pull each scene spectacularly. This is really underrated gold!
OVERALL:
Definitely watch this film because it's amazing. At a glance it doesn't seem like much, but it has cult-classic potential to the max. It's really underrated and I wish more people would watch it.

The story is fairly weak despite the aforementioned conflicts. Most of the intrigue introduced is an excuse to set up another fight scene. The movie's strength lies in it's numerous fight scenes. Summo wrestlers, ninjas, and your garden variety assassins show up from time to time to battle WFH and his merry band of kung fu warriors. Vincent Zhao does a good job as the high flying and noble Wong Fei Hung. His subordinates can be more of a detriment than an asset at times, both the characters and actors. The bad guys, even the femme fatale don't seem particularly menacing or much of a threat to WFH.
Warriors of the Nation is a perfectly enjoyable kung fu movie if you enjoy kung fu fights, don't mind a little wire-fu, and don't expect any character development or a cohesive storyline.

fly away from the obvious
This review was written in english and portugueseI'm so accustomed to poor Bl's movies that when I find a good one I just get confused. This movie is so good, I really can feel all the things that the actors want to pass, the story is good and unique, I fall for them in the first minutes. I really miss a good soundtrack a better plots but, something more better worked but this is unique, really something to just sit down and enjoy, i really have a big faith in japaneses Bl's, they are so unique and fly away from the obvious, i start the movie thinking ''oh here we go again'' but i literally woke up from this movie right now that's is over, they really caught my attention, i know it's a old movie but i want to see more and more.
Eu já tenho o costume de começar esses filmes com um pé atrás, eu não entendo como alguns filmes Bl's são tão ruins, mas eu deitei demais pra esse aqui, nossa muito bom mesmo, conseguiu capturar toda a minha atenção

Bitter Sweet
First of all, this film is NOT for the faint heart. It may be short but it is POWERFUL! I would definitely welcome more with open arms, but I'm satisfied with what I got out of this. It has it's heartfelt and heart breaking moments. Surrounded by love and lust, throw in some family violence and it's a horribly addicting concoction that had me hooked and before I knew it, it was over!Enjoy...
*P.S. (on a serious note, not just as part of a review) Always tell someone the full story when experiencing physical abuse, it may be hard, but sometimes it could save your life.

A piece of art, spectacular, breathtaking, special, incredible, necessary, cute, sexy, comfortable.
This review is written in English and portuguese.A piece of art, spectacular, breathtaking, special, incredible, necessary, cute, sexy, comfortable, the pillow that you embrace when you sleep, the warm bed sheet, something so close to reality that scares me a lot, how is this so good and so realistic? This movie was so hard to watch but it made me so addicted, all the points are so strong, the history, the action, the soundtrack, the comic reliefs at the right time, nothing random, nothing bad, this movie itself is art. It's so impressive to see something so good in the middle of a lot of bad series and movies that 2021 brought to us, this movie needs to stand at the podium, they are on the next level. The Gav role, the Cairo role, exactly... Every role in this movie it's pretty good, executed successfully, There's no bad points, this movie became something that needed to be seen, and ''the end'', it took me so much tears that I'm hiccuping.
-------------------------------------------------

This movie was bonkers, trashy, stupid, extremely low budget, everything I should have run from. Instead I was drawn to any movie with the above characters going at each other! Objectively speaking I should have rated it lower, but it was so bad that it was funny and I gave it a ratings bump.
The plot was completely illogical. The whole story was simply an excuse to have the biggest cross-over event in kung fu history. I had to watch a badly dubbed version. It sounded like one man did all the men's voices and they all sounded like they had thick New York (USA) accents except for the Exorcist who had an outrageous French accent (Monty Python joke). This version had also been cut several times and parts of the action didn't always show on the screen. Thankfully, there weren't subtitles or they would have run off the screen.
The fights were funny with bizarre sound effects. Bruce would call out the names of his movies for some of his moves. Zatoichi received a Fist of Fury in a very sensitive area.
Fair warning, there was quite a bit of female nudity in this movie. Unwanted and unneeded in the context it was shown. There was also a lot of talk about Bruce's "third leg". I'll leave it at that. In the double standard department, Bruce didn't even take his shirt off in the final battle. How were we supposed to know when he'd had enough and gotten serious?!? My guess is that Bruce Leung wasn't in good enough shape to take his shirt off.
This movie was awful, truly awful. It was also hysterically funny in places. If you can handle so bad it's good movies, this is one of those. It would benefit you to have a friend with an absurd sense of humor to watch it with and a big bowl of popcorn. Just don't expect any of it to make any sense.

I laughed and I cried buckets. What a fantastic, fantastic movie. The action was great, the CGI top notch and the story... wow, so touching and with so many twists and turns. Loved it.Also, Hae Won Maek must be Joo Ji Hoon's funniest part yet, hands down. His endless complains and acerbic mutterings were a hoot!
Who really stole the show, despite having "only" a supporting part, was Kim Dong Wook as Kim Soo Hong. The scene where Soo Hong talked to his mom and explained to her all that happened, Kim Dong Wook was absolutely marvelous in it. It was his performance that moved me to tears.
I truly, honestly loved this movie. It's available on Netflix.

Love love love it
Gameboys the series and the movie both are so well scripted and well thought out. It is actually the most progressive BL ever with literally no toxicity and not-okay stuff that many other BL glorify and romanticises. Literally one of the best LGBTQ+ representation in the history of cinema. The movie felt like a happy hour that I never wanted to end. Many a time I watch how much time there’s still left for a series of film to end but with this one time flew and I was so invested effortlessly. The movie did justice as a story continuation for the season 1 of the series. It was just one and half hour and still it did it’s best to bring everything and everyone together. It wasn’t trying to incorporate a lot of unnecessary drama out of nowhere which is something I liked. Due to this, the movie told a wholesome stripped down story of Gavreel and Cairo and their friends. The writers and producers deserve my respect and applause along with everyone’s I believe for making this series and this movie because this series addresses lgbtq issues just the way it is without exaggeration or sugarcoating. The cinematography is next level and it’s evident in the soft vintage colours which I really loved. Was this review helpful to you?
Fulfilling Finale
If you're contemplating whether to continue the series I recommend this as this is the best and the MUST WATCH part. Especially if you got curious about Kenshin's backstory like me.The production for the whole series was great! Truly! From the sound effects, visual effects, fight choreography, they were great in all aspects. I was in awe!
As this is fiction I know that the main characters won't die however after seeing them being slashed by the swords countlessly I just can't help but laugh as they keep getting up. I usually watch realistic fictional dramas so seeing those scenes just made me baffled and laugh.
I applaud the whole team and especially Takeru Sato as they worked really hard. Knowing that Takeru Sato made the action scenes by himself made me adore him more.
+ Watching this series made me feel sad for Kenshin but after knowing what happened to the manga it made me pity him more.

Perfect Friday Evening Wuxia
Definitely perfect for a Friday movie night.CGIs are decent, Fights are super cool, Brother/Sisterhood and found family trope.. The movie is basically a gang of outsiders fighting together for a common goal. FL puts them all in her shadow. Dialogs include funny banter as well.
Story is decent, not super tight, but alright for an fantasy action movie.
I would've wished for a tiny bit more character development, bc the characters are indeed fascinating.
Looking forward to a sequel!

Too short but it's a good story!
This movie has a high potential! I don't know but Taiwan's bl really taking over me or should I say they are really great making producing bl movie? Hahahahah I just love them when it comes to movie like this along with "your name engraved here in". The story is good, if they could just make a background story to the both of the them this will be a longer but I ain't complaining tho it just that I want more. That good storyline can do something to make this longer but maybe there's a reason why they make it short. It's not that fresh but not cliche it's just so good to watch this. It's not disturbing to watched because some scene is not highlighted to the story so don't worry about the tags.
I don't want to spoil the story because it so short to do so hahaha XD I'm just here to give an informal review but trust me it's good (at least for me)
AND ALSO
The actors really executed well their role! (9/10)
Overall I'm recommending this to everyone to watch!

Endearing
What i like most about this film is how it tries to weigh-in the means of finding love the old-school and modern way. And just like the other Jameson Blake film, 'So Connected', this movie also reminds viewers about the dangers of social media, but beyond that it also tackles about family issues, friendship and romance - though somehow these minor subplots made the film convoluted. Still this film is endearing and teaches us that while romance can indeed blossom on the net, it is our actual interaction with other people that helps in creating long-lasting relationship. Was this review helpful to you?

Imperfect but relevant
I felt bad that people take notice only of the "stalking" part when in fact there is more to the movie. It was his phone afterall, stolen. Plus, that's what made the male protagonist human. He stalks the female protagonist not because he is evil but because technology made it easy for him to follow what his heart wanted through of course the negatives of the digital world. That sliver of darkness that you won't usually see in lead stars in commercial films. The film tackles about internet shaming, the improper use of social media especially among the young generation of today.Sure the movie has flaws but it was fun, entertaining and carries with it an important lesson.

Excellent, but too short
This is a very good 44 minute long LGBT short movie. It is well made and well written. The story is intense, concerning a young man who, after suffering sexual abuse at the hands of his stepfather, turns to selling himself to other abusive men. But the arc of the plot turns happier (and sexier) when he meets an undercover cop who falls for him.Strong points:
-- The plot is interesting, engaging and well-conceived. It concerns some heavy topics but is not overwhelmingly depressing. (That said, it does feature a couple of incidents of rape, and people who are sensitive to sexual violence should be warned.)
-- The acting is truly excellent. Jed Chung does a good job of communicating how clueless and lost Light is. Even more, I thought Max Liu was tantastic -- thoroughly believable as Light's savior, Shuo. Liu is intense, masculine and yet soft -- the way he treated Light was perfect. (In some ways he takes the place of the father-figure Light never had). And he has a wonderful deep voice and a gorgeous body, so what's not to love? (P.S. the MDL pic of Max, above, does NOT do him justice.)
-- The cinematography is first rate, with great camera work. (I loved the opening scene, where the cam is following Light through the market as he goes to meet one of his "johns".)
-- There is not a lot of music actually in the movie, that I remember......however the film concludes with a music video (I think the name of the song is "Light") and that one is truly excellent.
Weak point:
-- The decision to make this a short movie limited the creators too much. A longer treatment could have given the audience a better understanding of the development of Shuo's affection for Light. It seems to appear out of nowhere. The lovely scene where Shuo abandons his reserve and makes love to Light would have been just wonderful if the audience had a better feeling for the tensions/mixed feelings that were afflicting Shuo.
