What It Means To Be A Hero
I'm not entirely sure why Kenshin resonates so strongly with me. He's an inspiring character who tries his best to atone for his past. A past frought with the slaughtering of an untold number of people. And yet, he strives to be a better man.A number of people have defined "nobility" as being better today than you were yesterday. And Kenshin seems to embody that.
We're finally treated to the mastermind. The one person who's basically been behind everything Kenshin has had to deal with from the previous trilogy. We thought Shishio was bad, and he may still arguably be the worst, but enter Enishi, the man who financially backed Shishio, his warship, and everything else.
To fully understand Enishi and his vile hatred toward Kenshin, you'll need to have seen "The Beginning." In fact, I would recommend seeing that film before this one.
Kenshin, once again, is trying his best to live a quiet, peaceful life. But now, everyone he loves and cares about is under attack by Enishi, who will stop at nothing to maximize Kenshin's suffering.
The beauty of the film comes in the last hour or so when many Kenshin's allies and former enemies alike, help him to run the gauntlet of hundreds of Enishi and Heixing's men. Heixing being Enishi's own connection with the Shanghai underworld.
What we see is a transformation of character in former villains who now see the wisdom of Kenshin and his lifestyle. It proves that as soon as one man vows to change, it creates a ripple effect for others to do the same.
Kenshin also finally reveals his past to his friends, how he got his scar, and why he vowed to change his ways. Tomoe saw the goodness in Kenshin even before Kenshin or Kaoru did. It usually only takes one person to have faith to start the ball rolling!
Once again, we have epic action sequences that, somehow, is even moreso than the previous trilogy. But also, the action lies at the periphery of a much deeper film that is full of heart, wisdom, and inspirational characters. And mostly, it shows us a glimmer of a path of what a true hero looks like. And what it truly means to be noble.

Alice in wonderland ....
So apart from the fact that the ML (Johnny Huang) is super hot, this story is really touching and has an exceptional meaning behind it.This story is a very realistic one, a typical girl with very low self esteem, and how people view her because of her weight or judge her based on her looks, that generally what goes on till to day.
A magic portion comes into play and at cost to her friendship she initially, loves the fact that she is recognized, and get noticed by everyone, her true friend however, sees her for what she really is and doesn't judge her one bit, but at the time she can't see it. her greed overtakes her to remain thin, but like all things life it comes with a price. after realizing that she was lucky enough to revert back to the way things were.
I particular loved the ML and his support her and often when she was determined (short lived) he still stood by her and was ready to help or assist again and again, he never wavered. the FL played her role well, in her views on of how she saw herself which I am sure most can relate too one in there own encounters.
This story behind the meanings were really good, love yourself, never give up and always be true your self, and not allow other to judge you, it also stands to show what a true friend is or how love can overcome the views of others, hats off to the ML for portraying that in a way.
Overall a lovely movie with the whole Alice in Wonderland theme ....

Tale of collapse excels at suspense - WORTH A WATCH
AMAZING PRODUCTIONOn a typical day’s ride home from his job selling Kia's (Car), kindly family man Jung-soo (Ha Jung-woo) becomes trapped in a traffic tunnel when the structure collapses on top of him. Kim Seong-hun delivers a tense and engaging, but also provocative disaster film as rescuers, bureaucrats and journalists jostle over how to dig out a regular family man trapped inside a collapsed tunnel.
Ha Jung-woo fitted the role perfectly and cant see any flaws !!
VERDICT- Unfortunately, there’s not enough story here 2 warrant de film’s more dan two-hour running time; 90 taut minutes tracking a week in the ruined tunnel would have sufficed. Still, it’s a vivid and relatable tale.

GEM of a movie - Mesmerizing Cinematography - Brilliant Casts
"you’ll find the bright side even from the darkest hole"Homestay is a Thai adaptation of Japanese fantasy novel Colourful by Eto Mori. From de trailer, it looks like the typical cross of romance, but its actually more dan wat is shown. De film starts as something SUPERNATURAL & it quickly hooks in its audiences by offering a little mystery-solving thrill. Then the tone suddenly becomes light on the succeeding acts, turning its small moments into fun-filled and cheesy segments. The film is basically a mixed genre of supernatural experience and family drama which leads to profound existential realizations in life.
This a film with a big heart that puts a big emphasis on the importance of life. It’s a treat for teens who are in need of a fresh perspective in their seemingly overbearing lives. It’s a Thai film for everyone who wants to be touched by quality films.
P.S Teeradon Supapunpinyo left me SPEECHLESS. I am 1 of his fan now !!!

One of the Best Action Trilogies I've Ever Seen!
There's a reason that there aren't many good sequels out there, let alone two to make up a trilogy. The first film is usually the best with significant fall-off from there. I can only think of a few trilogies that are rock solid from first to last. This is one of the few.Kenshin finds himself back with his old master. He doesn't know if Kaoru is alive or not. We can see the despair and rage in his eyes. He pleads with his master to teach him the ultimate technique that might help him defeat Shishio and his minions.
People with Kenshin's past often find it more challenging to live. They view their own lives as sacrifice and recompense for a tumultuous and far-from-ideal past. Kenshin's master has to remind him that he cannot fear life, and he can't look at his own life as being of less worth than anyone else's. In other words, he can't sacrifice his life to save others because he views others' lives as being greater than his own. This reminds me a bit of Nathan Algren from "The Last Samurai" who is so wracked with guilt and shame that he pretty much wishes for death, and he can't help but wonder how and why he's escaped death so many times.
We also find that the new government--out of fear of Shishio--puts out a call for Kenshin's arrest at Shishio's demands. First thing is first, of course. Kenshin needs to recollect himself as well as find himself before he's ready to take on Shishio.
The climactic battle doesn't disappoint as Kenshin and a few of his newfound allies--some who are former enemies--fight side-by-side to rid Japan of its most evil and devastating enemy. The battle sequences are so long that even I was starting to feel as tired as the characters who were fighting. And, of course, the same question remains: can Kenshin defeat Shishio without killing him.
Kenshin is easily one of the deepest and most profound heroes in recent cinematic history. A man who doesn't say very much, but we know and admire the complexity of the man and his newfound mission: to save those who cannot save themselves and to do so without taking a life.
In many ways, Kaoru is Kenshin's rock. She serves as a reminder, that no matter how difficult it may be, Kenshin can serve his mission and live by his code. Kaoru serves as the ultimate companion. The person who believes in us even when we begin to doubt ourselves. And perhaps it is the deep, underlying philosophy at the core of these films that makes them delve far deeper than any typical action film.
In short, this is one of the best action trilogies I've ever seen, and the action lies on the periphery if its heart, its wisdom, and the belief that a man can, indeed, change.

Things Begin To Heat Up In This Gripping Second Film!
Kenshin is trying his best to live a peaceful life. He lives at the Kaoru's dogo along with his new friends, Miss Megumi and the humorous Sanosuke.Of course, a man with the past that Kenshin has, there are always those desiring his downfall. Others seek him out for help. And the new government does just that when Shishio shows up with a massive army and colorful lieutenants, each one embodying a different form of crazy. Shishio, however, seems to be every dark trait rolled into one. This is a guy that makes the Joker look partially sane.
After Kenshin sees the decimation of Shishio's first attack, and the weeping and wailing families of Shishio's victims, he agrees that Shishio must be stopped.
I love how, in each film, Kenshin's enemies become harder and fiercer, bringing about more difficult challenges. And with each challenge comes the ultimate one for Kenshin: will he resort to killing in order to save?
Once again, the characters are spot-on. They are colorful and flamboyant, each bringing something interesting to the table. New characters are introduced, and none of them disappoint.
And, of course, the action sequences are unparalleled. At least, for me, as I've not seen anything remotely close to this. I've seen some featurettes on youtube, and I'm astounded by how fast and precise the action sequences are put together.
But, as good as the action sequences are, they are not hollow because they go together with a fantastic story, with Kenshin as its centerpiece. A man trying to change, and being challenged at every turn. Being told that he's insane to even try by virtually everyone except the one person who believes in him: Kaoru.
Pathfinders are those who create their own path. And most of the time, it's unique and original to the point where they are mocked by society and those who say, "You're crazy! It can't be done!" Pathfinders prove that it can if we only have the courage to try.
I'm also not sure you can stop with this film. A cliffhanger almost invites you to look at your clock and then say, "The hell with it!" before immediately starting the next one!

A trash of a movie - Apittha Khlaiudom appearance is the only highlight
In Net I Die, wanted 2 highlight the ills of social media fame, by creating a revenge tale emerging after the death of a “net idol” – an online influencer.VERDICT _ It was a cardboard cliche of a story, filled with simple-minded characters and desperate post-production efforts. Net I Die aims for social cause, but is really an amateur product and a film uninvested.
The soundtrack is spare and alternates between awkward silences and cacophonic clashes. The contrived addition is at best, annoying.
P.S Rewatch value is 0 - but MDL insisted me to add some ratings on it

Good movie, great acting, but it hit too close to home for me. Literally anyone, and that’s pretty much everyone that has been in a serious relationship of any kind that ends, will totally relate to this. Sometime, no matter how hard you try, you just can’t keep that magic. Like any other new relationship at first, it’s exciting, interesting, fun getting to know each other, it has that “feel good” new feeling. After a while, you can’t picture yourself without that other person. Then it starts to feel repetitive , nothing new anymore, and at times boring, the magic gone. Even the desire for intimacy disappears. It’s time to call it quits. That is this movie in a nut shell. It just didn’t feel good after a while as I watched it. BUT, it was good if you can keep your own past relationships and memories at bay. I just couldn’t. Was this review helpful to you?

Okay but still Fun
A 'coming of age' movie about underdogs/misfits that didn't quite hit the spot for me. I like to indulge in youth-centered movies and dramas often because I feel like I know what to expect out of them. Not saying that this mold can't be broken, as there are various kinds of youth movies. However, this movie tried to evoke the same feelings as other shows but it couldn't really do the same. I wanted to like this one so much. I enjoyed the musical aspect of singing and dancing. The quirkiness of the characters and their interactions. Some of the cinematography was really nice for the moving dance scenes and drone shots - even the CGI looked good when it was incorporated. I actually liked the coloring in here as it was bright and fun. All of that was captivating but I didn't quite like the storytelling that was done in here. The movie focuses on a girl who doesn't fit the mold to be a dancer on her high school dance team. She's not tall enough, not fair skin enough, and is even bullied by the dance teacher. Xiao Huang is resilient, always has a smile on her face, always being herself, but has an emotional flaw due to the lack of maternal love. She meets five men and coaches them to form their own team to join the dance competition. All of their reasons to participate were different given their own background but they had one thing in common of being the underdogs/misfits. So all of that sounds great so far and it started out great until we started to hit the themes of the movie.
The dance sequences and break-out into singing scenes were all fun. I'm not an expert in musicals nor have I seen many musicals, unless you count Disney. Despite all of that, I enjoyed it but some aspects of it don't make sense to me. I felt like the messages and themes were quite lost in the storytelling. With so many themes that should've evoked natural emotions in us, felt too contrived with what we received. Is it due to this being Xu En Yi's first acting role, the editing, or storytelling? I'd say a bit of it all. This is a movie that focuses on dancing yet I couldn't really feel the passion for dancing, despite what each of the main characters' reasons were to dance, I couldn't feel that burn to want that stage or to win. They oddly added the element of coming of age as the main theme in the end when it was not a focus of the movie apart from that they're seniors. The one thing where I felt like it was done quite decent was the theme of single-parent love and the lengths one would go to do well as one.
There were moments where I felt like it was too choppy when it came to the sequence of events, which I can easily overlook. Another thing I can overlook is how our main lead obviously does not look like someone who can be a high schooler/18-20. I can also forgive that his dancing does not look convincing because instead of seeing Old Dog as an expert in dancing, I just saw him as someone who wanted to learn how to dance. So his moves, though felt awkward, didn't deter from the story. My biggest dislike of the movie was how she was bullied and how it all got brushed resolved between the two groups without a good conclusion but through one dance scene. Also, this was one of the biggest conflicts of the show and a reason as to why she is where she's at and who she is. I just find it hard to accept as they're brushing it aside so easily when it's an actual societal issue and doesn't add any logic/depth to the movie to fix it with a mere dance.
You might enjoy it if you LIKE - musicals and underdog/misfits movies
You might want to SKIP if you're looking for - some sweet youth romance

Came for Wallace... and STAYED for Wallace LOL
I'm a sucker for actiony, psychological-thriller crime movies & I figured 'Three' could fit the bill (aaand it did.. in a sense lol). Let me explain, this movie is great; the plot is interesting enough and although some characters couldn't help but fall into their usual cliché categories, the movie still manages to hold itself up. I mean, how could it not? Your leading man is the deadpan KING Louis Koo for crying out loud! When you're not laughing at his classic line deliveries or wow-ing at how cool he looks in that suit, your focus is taken to Wallace Chung's unhinged gangster character. Wallace really stole the whole movie for me tbh; he always manages to ooz charisma no matter what role he takes on. The action scenes were pretty status quo though; nothing you've never seen before.. I think the graphic surgery scenes had me more on edge than anything ngl. I was left craving more uhm.. "more"? Lol. Like more story, more action/suspense & more WALLACE OFC lmao. All-in-all, Three (2016) makes for a nice short-sweet-and-to-the-point actiony crime type movie you could speed through for when you have an hour & 1/2 to kill; I'd personally watch it again :) xoWas this review helpful to you?
This is a re-watch,and darn how i enjoyed it! It is stupidly cringy at times...but the chemistry and relationship between Setoka and Haruka really makes up for it.I just love them in every scene together.Haruka`s endless love for Setoka is beautiful...always guarding her and loving her secretly!Ahhhh...i love romance!

One of the most frustrating thrillers I've ever seen
Midnight is basically a really draggy cat and mouse chase film with all the mice sharing one brain cell.At first I thought this film would be similar to Blind, an iconic thriller which was also about a disabled female lead being chased by a psychopath after witnessing a murder. But I realized after watching that comparing the two was an insult to Blind.
Every single character was dumb and had almost 0 common sense (especially the cops). I had hopes for the female lead's mom as she was good at reading people but in the end, she disappointed me as well.
Overall, Midnight felt like it was written by a thriller rookie who did not do their research on crime and just decided to recycle bits and pieces of movies of similar concept.
**SPOILERS**
what kind of person thinks that telling a psychopath your dreams and goals in life would actually make him feel bad and not kill you lol also PTSD doesn't exist here apparently.

idk
this movie is more or less along the same lines as the prequel - Nana needs "breathers" that Kaoru provides. Kaoru's reactions make this hilarious - as he is also battling his own feelings towards Nana, feeling's - he feels will take away his "power" and make Nana reject him, if she notice's them - so he tries to put on an indifferent front, while still making sure he stocked-up on BDSM paraphernalia to satisfy Nana's needs.
this time around i felt more like Nana was too self-centered - it was all about her (as it was in the previous ep) but i guess Kaoru getting a chance to live out his fantasies is something - and yet he always pining for her, almost obsessed with her... and her being stoic and cold - even indifferent towards him, when around her group (heck when her bff was badmouthing him) was making it glaringly clear, that she had the upper hand - and worse she didn't really care about Kaoru, his needs or him as a person -
so this time around it was harder to like her. but the trip to the country side was much needed for them both as she realized she need Kaoru as much as he needed her (about love i'm still on the fence - as i feel to Nana, she felt they both were the same perversion wise) guess that's a type of "happily ever after" as that means it aint the end of them... and maybe Kaoru has a fighting chance.
like i mentioned in the first movie even though this BDSM themed, its for everyone as it's BDSM light (almost No nudity maybe a butt-cheek or two), and it's more about their relationship then pain and degradation - facing each other and the truth. so this as the previous part, was a enjoyable watch and i'm totally vanilla - so give it a chance i was pleasantly surprised (●'◡'●)

cliche but unpredictable
●FIRST IMPRESSIONI watched this movie solely for Yoo Ah In, but it was an OK storyline. I liked the other two couples more. Kang Ha Neul's storyline was the most beautiful and touched me. Chef and Airhostess story feLT subtle and pleasant to watch. The movie is cliche but the way its executed is unpredictable. Well, the genre is rom-com I couldn’t feel the comedy as I actually didn’t get any laugh and I watched it to lighten up my mood.
●ACTING/CAST
Even though I didn't like YAI plot, I enjoyed his performance. Even if he just stares at the camera with no dialogue, I feel his emotions just like magic.
Kang Ha Neul, am not his fan but whenever I watch him he never disappoints me. anyone in his place would do the same and His eyes were filled with those gripping feelings which one cannot ignore.
●MUSIC
The composition is light and fills in more magic to the scenes especially the piano score.
●FAV SCENE
When Esom and Kang Ha Neul were walking down the road and he makes her listen to his composition.
●AFTERTHOUGHT
If the title is Like for likes there should have been more internet posts and others stuff. it didn't seem like the writers used the title to its worth.
●REWATCH
Maybe I will watch it again to understand it better or the points which I have missed. And of course for YAI.

A CAPER FILM ON ‘oil heist’ - DISASTER + TWISTS + LIGHT COMEDY
In the first place, i never did i know abt the casts... & itself was a COMPLETE SURPRISE ELEMENT 4 meSeo In Guk, the man who never disappoints! COMPLETELY SPEECHLESS - with long hair - damn handsome (Wears suits at the beginning of de flim ). LEE SOO HYUK him being the villain soared his hotness level to the moon. I love this duo working together sm ...hahah
VERDICT - Although the concept of “stealing oil” is new, the film follows the same old equation of caper movies; The team completes the operation successfully after several immediate crises. Led by SEO IN GUK, the team members clash now and then due to different understandings and interests. In particular, Jeop Sae, who only pursues his own interests, plays a troublemaker who gets on Pin Driller’s nerves. But, the bigger issue lies outside of the team. Gun Woo doesn’t give a thing about how things are in the team. So, in the end, the team unite as one force against the common enemy during their crisis.
