This was super cute ... hahah... the very first time i am seeing a short film based on love... so u gotta consider me a crazy who has given this short movie a overall 9 hahahaSYNOPSIS _ An ordinary man who can hear other people's heartbeat but his own heartbeat could not be heard, until one day he met a girl who works together with him in a department store. Then the rest is history !!
OMGG !! Nat, why are you so handsome? Like never have i ever saw a man who don't looknwild with a mustache Haha.. Take my whole world ><

This gave me warmth ..
VERDICT _That was cute and touching. A few nice little slices of lives, with the bus as the unifying "vehicle" of the characters. It could make a nice little expanded anthology...I miss commuting, because of the pandemic.The last time i rode a bus was 2and half before and it's quite a strange feeling, not doing something that's been a part of your daily life for a long time.
Also the use of Don't Worry's instrumental as the soundtrack with the final scene alone boosted this up from a 3.5 to 4.5 stars for me. I just wish the world had so much hope and warmth like in this.Come on u cant just play the reply 1988 ost as bg music and not expect me to go....

A highly effective chiller that builds up into raw terror, Nose Nose Nose Eyes!
I got crazy when i got 2 knw dat this is from an existing female criminal known as 'Lady Uhm.' Lady Uhm stabbed the eyes of her family and blinded them in order to get insurance money. This tries to picture the life of the young girl who has such a mother, and asks the audience the following questions. 'What if your mother is a psychopath who harms your family to get insurance money?' "What if you are a ten-year-old girl living under the absolute influence of such a mother?'".It's what is implied as much as what is seen that does the damage, and a there's a second layer of horror to be found in the wider scenario and in the social and economic desperation at which it hints
VERDICT - I wished the girl had gotten hold of the uncle and rescue her dad...

Feeling like expressing a pet and a dream...? A new social worker has a dream in a small house, and the dream is too big for her house, so she gives up...I come to a new interpretation by comparing the cactus to the size of love and heart for a lover or something. So i feel her how she go in tears. Like, I don't need you to do anything, can't you just stay by my side...SYNOPSIS - After Woohee sent her cactus away, she met Jooyoung and talked about her.

Short film by the Main character of 'Color Rush'
This was based on the true story of Yook Woo Dang(real name Yoon Hyon Seok,and it's sad that he died in real life. I'm not a part of the lgbtq community but I want people to normalize it.The type of film “Lipstick” aspires to be is clear. It wants its audience to know loud and clear that it is perfectly ok to be yourself, and that whilst some may not take to it, you should be undeterred from showing your true identity to the world.
VERDICT _ All in all, “Lipstick” is not a particularly rousing film, but it does have a strong, supportive message towards a community who find themselves marginalised in society.

Mini Documentary made by reconstructing a real story from high school days
Yeon-hee meets Seol-hee, a high school classmate, by chance at a convenience store where she works part-time to earn a living. She is intellectually disabled. After that day, Seol-hee stops by the convenience store every day to see Yeon-hee. On the one hand, Yeon-hee expresses her displeasure at her persistent visit, but on the other hand, she develops a strange curiosity...At first, this is very sweet and emotional but gets dark quickly as Yeon Hee navigates the challenge given to her as she tries figuring out the right thing to do for her friend but loses the chance to do so ....
VERDICT _ Felt pathetic ... short film with a little frill!

I gave this documentary a shot when reading @etheraltaekibum happy's editorial which is 30 minutes long & saddening...I felt almost mystic... and seeing the main character come out of her depressed mind & her self imposed isolation (through her saddening tail of how she lost her child) despair & how she is now alright and is tending to navigate her life was kinda inspirational to me in some aspect.
VERDICT _ I recommend experiencing and judging it yourselves.

A GEM - wid a MIND BENDING MYSTERY
Recalled is hasa clever script that will keep you guessing until the end. The performances are strong, but also nuanced and carefully layered. And even with Recalled being Seo You-min’s debut feature film, its super wholesome, KUDOS. When it approaches its concluding scenes near the end, it’s able to explain itself pretty well and clear things up.VERDICT_ This can be a blessing or a curse, depending on the moviegoer. 4 me it was a damn BLESSING !!! It was a exciting psychological thriller which genuinely shocked me. It hit all the right notes when needed, & never failed to grab attention, and as a result is likely to be remembered fondly for a long time.

Good but Corny
A HARD DAY tells a small-scale story about a cop on the edge; investigated by Internal Affairs for corruption, he accidentally hits and kills a pedestrian while out driving one night and must cover up the crime before he's discovered.The script is tighter than the direction and editing. But the set-pieces dazzle (think Korean war toys) and the performances by the cops have a nice cynicism about them. HAS GOOD ACTING !!!
VERDICT _ It's hard to feel sympathy for such a miserable miscreant. Impossible, in fact.

A very cute romantic movie!
The story is a very classic one to the fans of romantic movies and dramas. These two people make a deal to pretend to be a married couple in order for the man to be able to take the money. Little did he know that he would fall in his own trap! This story showed how one person can change after being abandoned by his loved ones and how he can become better when he has someone supporting and believing in him. It showed how important it is to admit your mistakes and take responsibility for them. Also, the movie showed couples who talk about marriage and their secrets for longlasting relationships. The main idea is that you have to commit to it and chose to love every single day -what a great conclusion!The actors do a very good job and the main couple has great chemistry together, although there are some points where they overreact or shout. The only thing that bothered me is that they spoke two languages interchangeably through the whole movie. I would watch it again, although I usually don't do it.
All in all I do think that this movie is worth watching! It's not something that you see for the first time, but a good old classic I would say.

Sci -Fi Thriller from Thailand. The concept sounds strangely familiar and is obviously made to have a universal appeal.Four insomniac medical school students are lured into a neuroscience experiment that spirals out of control -- and must find a way out before it's too late.VERDICT _ STREAM IT !! Fair acting for the most part - quite liked the ost & the story was decent and well told.

I am so sad, yet emotionally fulfilled !!!
The sweet and pleasant relationship established between the two leads, helped by two wonderful central performances, is more than enough to get you engrossed in the story at hand, and when push came to shove in some of the more emotional moments, I was genuinely being pushed close to tears, something that I could never have expected after that opening scene, which is why I’m giving Tomorrow I Will Date With Yesterday’s You a 8.5 overall.The cute thing is that Emi fukuju will cry each time that a good thing will happen. But later on you would finally decide why emi was easily moved to tears, the part which i love. & i loved how the film's title appears forty-one minutes into the movie.
P.S Takatoshi and Emi fit each other so well, it is good to see them being together. Their relationship is adorable. I do agree that the whole idea of different timelines moving is amazing, but I'm not quite sure how to make it when it comes on screen. Nana Komatsu's eyes illuminated by sunlight are enough to make anyone fall in love at first sight.

Tomb Raiders in Japanese Occupied Manchuria
An ancient tomb full of treasure guarded by traps and demons! Fanged Zombies! Ninjas! An evil milk-drinking villain! Jenny Zeng in a black leather body suit! What more could one want? Abandon all plot-logic, ye who enter here.That being said, if you're willing to go into the film with low expectations for it making any kind of sense, it's not a terrible romp in the genre. Five mutually antagonistic adventurers seek to liberate the treasure of an ancient Chinese emperor, and encounter unexpected twists along the way. Who will make it out alive? And will the writer remember what they were looking for to begin with?
Expect terrible CGI, shockingly slow fight choreo and one surprising guitar ballad that absolutely does not fit the moment.

A gripping emotional roller-coaster with bumps on the tracks
I knew this was a disaster movie going in. Like most disaster movies of any kind, you brace for a wild ride and this movie did not disappoint.Though it had a few flaws in terms of believability for certain actions of the main characters, the overall picture painted is a stunning piece of cinematography.
The absolute best part of this movie for me was how absolutely terrifying it was to watch the fire spread everywhere like a monster attacking. The low growls and roaring sound effects used were amazing and effective, making it seem like the fire itself was alive and fighting to claw it's way through every obstacle like a monster. Yet not in an overly exaggerated way. I got chills watching the fire scenes unfold.
Next to that there are also a few scenes that pulled me out of the story again. The exaggerated performance of a firefighter staying amidst fire and smoke for hours trying to close a valve while his protective gloves have burned away, seems a bit unrealistic to me. As is the death scene of my favorite actor Zhang Zhe Han. He delivered it well enough, but it was drawn out and quite fake. I get they want to make it emotional and really wreck the viewers with sad feelings, and trust me i had them. But it's a point that is a glitch in this otherwise fantastic movie.
Next to the patriotic theme and the complexity of heroes culture, this was an amazing film. I would watch it again. 9/10
