Different take on Zombies

Honestly, when I started watching this it was questionable, yet I wanted to keep watching. It was such a different take on zombie movies and I loved it. It was comedic and also a heartwarming watch! I loved it and would definitely watch it again!! I am happy to suggest this to others. I had so many questions during the whole movie. Questions that were answered! The music is also now stuck in my head too, I really liked the OST, especially at the ending! So if you're looking for a zombie movie but don't want to be too scared and want to have a laugh, I highly suggest!!!

They really can't catch a break because it's only 14 minutes and they still both cried. It was a short but nice farewell to season 1. There's a subtle foreshadowing for next season — well I'm not sure if it's one but it looked like one — and I hope that everything will be okay, it's not like they suffered throughout the whole season...

how am i meant to move on from this one?

i don’t usually find myself interested in modern cdramas, but it had such good reviews and good leads that i decided to give it a try.
i’ve watched a good number of cdramas, many of which were amazing. however, none have touched me like this one has. i don’t know how i’m meant to move on from it. i’ve tried watching some similar dramas others have recommended but i can’t help but compare them to this one and can’t quite commit to them. none of them have managed to pull me in like this one did from the very start.
there’s something very special about this drama, a certain kind of nostalgia that it evokes that isn’t easily explained. i’m not sure how to put it into words.
youth. that nostalgic innocence of a first love and the resulting heartbreak that feels so crushing and world-ending, it feels like you’ll die.
then young adulthood. the inevitable messiness that comes with that transition. the adults in your life struggling to reconcile the fact that you’re no longer a child, unsure how to treat you going forward; you struggling to appear mature before them, still unable to help but be childlike in ways. that slow acceptance of yourself, including those less “adult” parts of yourself that you believed you had to let go of to be seen as grown.
you can feel it in the acting, the wardrobe, the way it was filmed, in the OST, even in the colours used.
it’s all beautiful and it’s familiar. you won’t regret watching it, even though you’ll struggle to move on afterwards.

this was so cute!

this was my first time watching any of these actors (I’m very new to Thai BL)
I liked both couples, but this made me become a fan of SurfJava🥹

Jinn and Jerome were adorable. Van was a gigantic POS😭 I almost didn’t want Farm to forgive him after all the pain he put him through 🥲 but thankfully, he learned from his mistakes and had a good redemption arc.

I hope SurfJava get to do more projects together, because their chemistry is amazing!

Excellent Storyline

As Long As We Both Shall Live (My Happy Marriage, 2023) was such a beautifully painful movie. Set in a world of arranged marriage, family cruelty, and hidden supernatural power, it gave far more emotion than I expected. Miyo Saimori, treated like nothing by her own family, is sent to marry Kiyoka Kudou, a man feared for his cold and ruthless reputation. What starts as fear slowly becomes one of the softest and most healing love stories.

What made this movie stand out for me was how quiet the love was. Kiyoka did not love Miyo with grand speeches, but with protection, patience, and respect—things she had never been given before. Watching Miyo slowly learn that she deserved kindness was honestly the most touching part. Their chemistry felt gentle and real, and both Ren Meguro and Mio Imada brought so much emotion to their roles.

The cinematography was stunning, with that soft historical fantasy atmosphere that made every scene feel like a painting. The mix of romance, pain, and supernatural family politics made the story even richer. Sometimes the final conflict felt a little rushed, but the emotional heart of the film never got lost. Reviewers also noted how the story blends abuse, manipulation, military intrigue, and slow-burn romance in a Meiji-era-inspired setting ().

This was not just a romance—it was a story about healing, dignity, and finally being loved the way you should have been all along. Sad, beautiful, and unforgettable.

Rural Charm with a Frustrating Turn

Don't Disturb Me Farming is a refreshing take on the classic fish-out-of-water trope by flipping it completely. Instead of a rural girl adjusting to city life, it’s the rich male lead who is thrown into village living and struggling to adapt, which makes the setup feel a bit different and interesting at the start.

The leads actually perform quite well, and their acting feels natural for the most part. The initial episodes are especially enjoyable with a sweet premise and good chemistry, giving the drama a lot of early potential. The rural setting also adds a calming and visually pleasant backdrop that fits the tone of the story.

However, as the story progresses, it starts losing balance. The female lead can feel inconsistent, often written as overly naive or careless just to push misunderstandings forward. At times, her lack of awareness towards both the male lead’s feelings and the intentions of others becomes frustrating. On the other hand, the male lead also seems to shift personality depending on the plot needs, which weakens the consistency of his character.

The introduction of side characters, especially the so-called best friend and college acquaintance, adds more frustration than depth. Their involvement drags the story down and creates unnecessary conflict that feels forced rather than natural. Many viewers would likely agree that the drama would have worked better if it stayed focused on the main couple and the farming storyline.

Despite these issues, the drama still has its charm. Once you get past the slower and more irritating middle episodes, it returns to a softer, more satisfying tone towards the end. The conclusion is simple and sweet, giving a proper closure to the couple’s journey.

Overall, this is a light, relaxing watch with a strong concept and good beginning, but it gets weighed down by unnecessary complications and inconsistent character writing. It’s enjoyable in parts, especially if you don’t take the middle stretch too seriously.

this was an interesting watch 😂

this is not the type of drama I usually enjoy watching. but I decided to give it a shot right after finishing ThamePo, mainly because i wanted to see more of WilliamEst.
(I’m very new to Thai BL, only started watching a few days ago!)

I also wanted to see Perth and Santa, as I’ve known of them since before i knew anything about Thai BLs. so i wanted to see what they're actually like. even though this drama doesn't have much of them.

I’m not a fan of over the top borderline cringe kinda comedy. which, tbh, me and thee is😂 the first episode was kind of unbearable, not gonna lie. the stupid sound effects made me cringe so hard, I almost wanted to drop the drama then and there 😭 but i decided to watch at least one more episode and give it a real chance.

slowly i was somehow dragged into the world of Khun Thee😂 somehow they left me entertained, and i ended up laughing out loud a few times at the utter ridiculousness everything 😂

A Brave and Healing Masterpiece

This series takes a daring leap into the complexities of neurological trauma and psychological healing. It is a raw, heart-wrenching, yet ultimately hopeful exploration of what happens when the person you love becomes a stranger to themselves.

The plot centers on Pobmek (Perth), a teacher who struggles with children, whose world is turned upside down after his boyfriend Solar (Santa) suffers a traumatic brain injury. The "brain reset" condition—where Solar’s mind reverts to that of a seven-year-old—is handled with incredible maturity.

Santa gives a tour-de-force performance. Switching between the vibrant, adult Solar and the vulnerable, confused "Nong Sun" requires immense range. He avoids caricature, making the psychological regression feel tragic and authentic.
Perth is the emotional anchor. His portrayal of Pobmek's frustration, grief, and unconditional patience is masterfully subtle. He captures the essence of a man who hates children but would do anything to protect the "child" inside his partner.

Despite the heavy themes, the show is "healing." It emphasizes that love is about adapting and staying present, even when the person you love can't remember who you are.

This series is a profound study of human resilience. It challenges the audience to think about the nature of love and the mind. It’s a 5-star drama that will break your heart and mend it back together, one episode at a time.

Funnier than it looks

Synopsis makes you think this is your standard Strong female lead's story and honestly it didn't look like anything unique. I started it for the incredible list of cast from supporting characters to main and so far enjoying it.

Positives:
1. Production quality. Color grading has a movie feel in a made up city, both modern but with a throw back feel.
2. Interesting characters: lots of characters you love to hate, and hate to love.
---ML: Giant Man Child. Mark Chao provides lots of comic relief. I did not expect his character to be so funny.
---FL: Sometimes you'll hate her bossiness, other times you'll feel for her struggles. Overall I love her character
---Yang Cai Yu: Smart beautiful bestie with hot girl problems. The complex relationship with her lawyer is interesting.
---ML's new editor: I love this veteran supporting actress. She always pulls off this kind of a character flawlessly
---Other supporting characters, FL's ex partners, FL's assistant, Lawyer, New writer etc etc are all great characters.
3. Story line and dialogue. At least in Chinese its smart and witty especially for the ML's comebacks.
4. OST: There are some really good songs in here. I hope I can find them all
---Ending Song (Jane Zhang: 爱情没有神话)
---Ep 5 18min in (Cross the Line)
---Ep 7 23 min in
Just to name a few

Negatives:
It may feel a bit repetitive with the constant back & forth competitive nature. I don't mind it since I enjoy the dialogue but it may not be for everyone.
Probably Not the happy ending kind from the looks of it

If you enjoy smart female-centric modern C-dramas then this is a great pick!

we waited all this time but what cost?

we waited so long, and this is what we got? i've been a long-time bounprem fan, but besides the bad script, the acting seems to be getting worse.

they explained unnecessary things and didn't explain things that needed explaining. honestly, i took a break for a few months because i was so bored watching it, and it was still quite tedious.

actually even they do not have to much kissing scenes; prem still acts like he's afraid to kiss i honestly skipped even those scenes. this is the first time i've seen a couple who's been together for so long and then regress.

yes, the script was terrible; they couldn't convey that dark theme at all. director new is incompetent. he can only ruin every project he takes on like this. it was awful. i thought it was worth the wait, but i waited in vain.

They need to learn how to communicate with each other!

A five episodes show that felt much longer. Great acting, great story, beautiful shots. A lot of symbolisms through the colors, the use of the language — body and spoken — and the soundtrack. Made me laughing a few times. Also made me cry a few times. The characters were cute but they also were stupid. It represents well what it is to be a teenager. I think I could give it a higher score after watching it a second time.

Chaos, Comedy, and Complicated Love

Never Too Late is a fun, light romcom that starts off strong with a genuinely hilarious first encounter between the leads. The drama leans heavily into its quirky setup, and once you accept the slightly unconventional premise involving their parents and the almost step-sibling dynamic, it becomes an easy and entertaining watch.

One of the strongest aspects of the drama is its relationships. Every dynamic feels a bit different and adds its own flavor. The second couple brings a lot of charm, and honestly, they can be more engaging than the main pair at times. The parents’ storyline is also surprisingly enjoyable, especially how they try to balance things and unintentionally create awkward yet funny situations for the leads. The childish fights and banter between the main couple also add to the romcom vibe, even if they can feel a bit repetitive.

The story itself is fairly well-developed, even if some misunderstandings feel unnecessary or exaggerated. Characters generally act in ways that make sense for them, so even when situations are a bit ridiculous, they remain watchable rather than frustrating. The romance is sweet, and there are some nice moments between the leads, though the emotional connection doesn’t always land as strongly as it should.

Where the drama struggles is in execution. The female lead’s performance can feel inconsistent, and her styling doesn’t always help her character either. The male lead is decent but not particularly standout. At times, the chemistry between the leads feels lacking, which takes away from the impact of their romantic moments. In contrast, the supporting cast and side relationships often feel more natural and enjoyable.

Overall, this is a drama you watch for its fun, chaotic energy rather than perfection. It has its flaws in acting and consistency, but the humor, unique relationship dynamics, and entertaining side characters make it a worthwhile watch if you’re in the mood for something light and easy.

hit close to home!

watched this as a new Thai BL watcher, fell in love with LYKN!💙

as a huge kpop stan who recently had a member leave from one of her ult groups (Heeseung leaving Enhypen), this hit very close to home! this really shows the reality of the pop industry, and how little we as fans know about what goes on behind the scenes. I love how this drama tackles with the issues of members being forced to leave, some members being favored over others, idols being unable to date, etc..all very realistic issues!

I feel like this drama had the potential to be so much better, but the execution didn’t quite meet that potential. my favorite part was William and Est’s chemistry. I love how effortlessly they fell in love with each other. them “dropping each other off” on a loop was the cutest thing ever😂

the pacing was generally good, but the last few episodes felt a bit dragging. while i loved seeing the MARS dynamics, i also wish we got to see a little bit more of ThamePo, as the drama is literally called that.

best part about watching this was discovering LYKN! I knew of their existence, and I knew Lego, even before i knew much about the thai entertainment industry. but before watching this drama, i had no idea that the entire group was in this drama. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out all these actors were idols, and that MARS is basically LYKN!!

overall, this was a good watch! I will be looking forward to any work William or Est have in the future 💕
😅

yamato's eye are captivating!?

plot🗯️🗯️
Yamato is a highschooler. since forever he has been in love with his childhood best friend but never felt confident to express his love fearing he would be rejected. as time goes on Yamato is no longer able to keep his secret. how will kakeru feel?

the drama:🗯️🗯️
this is a pretty standard BL highschool drama. I saw this plot many times but there is just something about it that keeps me coming back.

being gay is not easy anywhere (unfortunately) but especially in a society like Japan. through these drama we see a more "accepting" environment and maybe this is what makes these drama so sweet. there are a safe space.

I cannot say there is something special about this drama but the actors do a good enough job to keep you watching.

both Yamato and kakeru are good in their respective roles even though I must admit, I fell for yamato's actors. his eyes are so intense and I really liked his voice. it was warm, soothing. a delight.
kakeru was also a good match. his chaotic energy was entertaining.

the drama is pretty short and I don't feel like criticizing anything in particular.

it was sweet but not over the top. I liked that kakeru loved his friend so much that he took his time to really sort his feelings out. it must be a shock to receive a love confession from an old friend.

overall they did a good job at showing yamato's pain and kakeru though process.

just a note for you guys.
if you expect skin ship this is not the drama for you.

there is a kiss at the end of the show to signify they becoming a couple.
this is a sweet drama not a passionate one.

If I have to nitpick I'd say that the other characters are pretty irrelevant. the sister is just there and the friends are basically background.
I was kind of wondering if the blond guy was dating that other friend he always brought along but the drama doesn't give us an answer.

overall if you are looking for a low stake drama, short, without much of a plot, this is a decent choice.

A Decent Watch with a Charming Lead

In Love with Loving You turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It’s not a brand new storyline, but the way it’s executed makes it enjoyable and both leads deliver natural, mature performances that make the romance easy to watch.

At first, the relationship might come across as something shallow, almost like it’s driven by attraction between an employee and her playboy client after an accidental encounter. But as the story unfolds, it adds more depth, especially with the reveal of the male lead’s long-standing feelings. Knowing he had been in love with her for years gives a different perspective to his actions. For some, that backstory might feel a bit questionable or even slightly obsessive, but it does explain why he approaches things the way he does in the present.

The male lead is definitely the highlight of the drama. He is caring, patient, and consistently supportive, making him very easy to root for. His dynamic with his friend and assistant also adds a nice touch to the story. The second couple is also fun and interesting, adding a lighter, more playful layer to the overall narrative. On the other hand, the female lead can be frustrating at times. Her decisions and reactions don’t always match the situation, which can make the relationship feel a bit one-sided, with the male lead putting in more emotional effort. Still, their chemistry works well enough to keep you invested.

For a debut project, the male lead does a solid job, and the overall production holds up well. The story is simple, the romance is light, and it doesn’t try to be overly complicated. It’s the kind of drama you can watch when you want something easy and engaging without too much emotional heaviness.

Overall, it’s not perfect, but it’s a decent and enjoyable watch. If you’re in the mood for a light romance with a strong male lead and a straightforward storyline, this one is worth checking out.
