Falling into Your Smile is a spectacular, fast-paced, and incredibly addictive romantic comedy that perfectly captures the thrilling world of professional gaming. It is the ultimate comfort show with massive rewatch value.Story (10/10):The plot is engaging, lighthearted, and refreshingly modern. It follows a talented female gamer who breaks barriers by joining an all-male professional esports team. The Ultimate Crime Thriller with Masterpiece Bromance and Elite Chemistry – 10/10!

Under the Skin is a phenomenal, smart, and highly addictive crime drama that keeps you completely glued to the screen. It proves that you don't need a heavy romance when you have a brilliant plot and a legendary brotherhood leading the show.Story (10/10):The narrative is incredibly sharp, fast-paced, and unique. Using forensic art and psychological profiling to solve complex, dark, and thought-provoking cases makes every episode fascinating. What makes the story truly elite, however, is the character progression. The transition of the main duo's relationship from tragic past grievances and deep mistrust into an unbreakable, safe-haven partnership is beautifully written and executed. The tension and pacing are flawless.Acting & Cast (10/10):Tan Jianci and Jin Shijia delivered absolute career-defining performances. Their on-screen chemistry is legendary. Tan Jianci perfectly embodies Shen Yi’s quiet, observant, and fiercely brilliant artistic genius, while Jin Shijia is phenomenal as the rugged, protective, and hot-headed Captain Du Cheng. The unspoken trust, the intense glances, and the way they naturally complement each other's strengths create one of the best bromances in dramaland history.Music & Production (9.5/10):The production value is gorgeous, utilizing artistic cinematography, sharp editing, and atmospheric visual metaphors that beautifully connect art with crime-solving. The soundtrack is eerie, modern, and perfectly amplifies both the suspenseful psychological mind games and the heartwarming moments of ultimate loyalty between the leads.Overall:Under the Skin is a mandatory watch for every enthusiast of dark mysteries and top-tier brotherhood. Driven by an exceptional mastermind character, brilliant cases, and an electric main duo, it is a flawless 10/10 masterpiece with massive rewatch value. Highly recommended!

A Soul-Stirring Masterpiece: The Most Beautiful and Heartbreaking BL of the Year – 10/10!

Blue Canvas of Youthful Days is a poetic, breathtakingly emotional masterpiece that proves love doesn't need words to be profoundly felt. It is a deeply moving story that will comfort your soul while completely breaking your heart.Story (10/10):The narrative is incredibly unique, delicate, and beautifully paced. Following the quiet, artistic world of a deaf painter and the expressive, auditory world of a musician, the show explores how two lonely souls can become each other's ultimate canvas. It tackles themes of disability, healing, family expectations, and tragic circumstances with utmost respect and emotional depth. It is a pure, slow-burn, and melancholic masterpiece that keeps you crying and hoping for their happiness until the very last second.Acting & Cast (10/10):The main leads delivered absolute masterclasses in acting. Expressing deep passion, longing, and devastating heartbreak without relying on spoken dialogue is an immense challenge, but their chemistry was flawlessly electric. Every single glance, touch, and sign language interaction was bursting with raw emotion. Their vulnerability felt so real that it was impossible not to live and suffer through every single heartbreak right alongside them.Music & Production (10/10):The production value is pure art. The cinematography is gorgeous, utilizing soft lighting and beautiful artistic metaphors that make every frame look like a painting. Because of the story's nature, the sound design and soundtrack play a crucial role—the contrast between absolute silence and hauntingly beautiful melodies perfectly amplifies the emotional weight of the drama.Overall:Blue Canvas of Youthful Days is an unforgettable emotional rollercoaster. It is easily one of the most aesthetic, pure, and deeply touching BL dramas ever created. If you want a story with 10/10 chemistry that will make you feel everything and cry your eyes out, do not skip this absolute gem!

A Story of Love That Keeps Starting Over

I found Love of the Divine Tree quite interesting at the beginning, especially because of the dynamic between the main characters. I liked that the male lead starts off more aggressive and emotionally burdened, carrying guilt over losing her in the past. That immediately gives the story some emotional weight.

The reincarnation aspect is also well done. She comes back without her memories, and he has to deal with that while slowly rebuilding their relationship from scratch. It’s interesting to watch him fall for her again, and at the same time, she also develops feelings for him without knowing anything about their past. When she eventually finds out, it adds more depth to their relationship.

However, there’s a point where the story starts to feel a bit tiring. When he loses his memories (because of what was done to him), the narrative basically resets, he becomes cold and distant again, and their relationship has to restart. I understand the idea behind it: showing that they are destined to find each other no matter what. But in execution, it feels repetitive and somewhat boring.

After that, the drama improves again, but then it slows down once more in certain parts, especially with side plots and secondary characters that don’t add much to the story. There were moments near the end where things felt confusing, like the plot was going back and forth, and I struggled to fully follow what was happening.

That said, the final part, especially the last battle, was quite engaging. I also liked the ending overall. Seeing them finally end up together, get married, and later have children gives a sense of closure and makes everything they went through feel worth it.

One aspect I think was not well developed is her love for him in the past. Their relationship in that timeline feels more maternal than romantic. She teases him and takes care of him, but there are barely any clear signs that she loves him as a woman. Later on, the story suggests that those feelings existed, but it feels underdeveloped. There should have been more subtle hints or small moments to make it more believable.

Overall, it’s a drama with a strong concept, visually appealing characters, and an engaging main relationship, but it suffers from pacing issues and repetition.

Final rating: 7.5/10

The Ultimate Blueprint of Raw Passion and Legendary Chemistry – 10/10!

Addicted (Heroin) is a timeless cultural phenomenon that defined a whole generation of BL. Despite being cut short due to censorship, the remaining episodes deliver one of the most intense, gripping, and unforgettable romances ever put on screen.Story (10/10):The plot is an addictive, slow-burn transition from enemies to classmates, and finally to an obsessive, all-consuming love. It handles complex themes of blended families, social status, and personal boundaries with a raw, unpolished realism that is incredibly rare nowadays. The pacing is fantastic, building up a thick, magnetic tension that keeps you completely glued to the screen. It is chaotic, intense, and emotionally raw.Acting & Cast (10/10):Johnny Huang (Gu Hai) and Timmy Xu (Bai Luoyin) delivered performances that can only be described as lightning in a bottle. Their on-screen chemistry is legendary and completely unmatched. Gu Hai’s fierce, obsessive, and fiercely protective nature contrasts perfectly with Bai Luoyin’s quiet, stubborn, and vulnerable pride. Every glance, argument, and physical interaction feels incredibly genuine and bursting with electric energy. They didn't just act—they made the audience feel the weight of their obsession.Music & Production (9/10):For a 2016 low-budget web series, the production has a beautiful, nostalgic, and gritty indie aesthetic that perfectly fits the raw tone of the story. The iconic opening and ending themes are deeply melancholic and beautiful, perfectly capturing the bittersweet and unforgettable essence of the show.Overall:Addicted is a masterpiece that every single BL enthusiast must watch. It is the ultimate definition of high-tension chemistry and legendary passion. Even with its sudden, heartbreaking open ending due to real-life circumstances, it is a flawless 10/10 that will forever hold the crown in the BL world.

After waiting for so long to see Boun and Prem lead their own series, Between Us completely exceeded all expectations. It’s not just a romance; it’s a deeply emotional story about safe spaces, healing, and unconditional trust.Story (10/10):What makes this story so beautiful is the raw and realistic progression of Win and Team's relationship. Instead of rushing into a typical romance, the plot deeply explores their inner struggles—Team’s trauma and sleeping anxiety, and Win’s habit of giving everything to others while neglecting his own happiness. The Ultimate BL Rollercoaster: Unmatched Chemistry and Perfect Pacing – 10/10!

If you are looking for a BL that perfectly balances intense romance, high-stakes passion, and deep emotional healing, Love in the Air is an absolute must-watch. It completely redefined the standards for modern Thai BL.Story (10/10):The unique structure of this drama is one of its biggest strengths. Splitting the series into two distinct story arcs kept the pacing incredibly fresh. The first half (PhayuRain) delivers a thrilling, fast-paced romance filled with playful banter and undeniable dominance. The second half (PrapaiSky) shifts into a beautifully written, emotional story about overcoming past trauma and learning to trust again. Both arcs are captivating in their own way.Acting & Cast (10/10):The chemistry between the main leads is out of this world. Boss, Noeul, Fort, and Peat delivered phenomenal performances for a young cast. They didn't just act; they completely embodied their characters. The switch between intense, fiery passion and vulnerable, emotional moments felt incredibly genuine. You can truly feel the trust and bond between the actors in every scene.Music & Production (9.5/10):The production value is top-notch, from the exciting motorcycle racing aesthetics to the beautiful cinematography during the more intimate, quiet moments. The soundtrack perfectly amplifies the mood, making the high-tension scenes even more gripping and the emotional scenes truly heartfelt.Overall:Love in the Air is a legendary title in the BL community for a reason. It gives you everything: romance, drama, deep emotional healing, and some of the best chemistry ever put on screen. An absolute 10/10 with massive rewatch value!

The plot has lost the plot

I'm torn about this drama. There is so much to like. Yet, the plot is doing my head in.

It is not as if there is no through-line. There are too many! I'm constantly thinking, did I miss something? Are we still in Kansas . . I mean Seoul.

I have a laundry list of such observations. I'll just focus on a few key ones that are particularly problematic.

For instance, the Joseon part of the show is quite inconsistent. Most of the time, the FL appears as a young (late teen?) court lady. Yet in other scenes, she appeared as an older high-ranking concubine and even the Queen. I know forbidden love is plot du jour for many sageuk dramas, but one core tenets is a lowly maid don't get elevated to Queenship without exceptional circumstances. In this case, I saw none.

The confusion spreads to the present. The soul swapped FL has this haughty quality, and I love her archaic ways. She knows a lot about the intricacies of the Joseon court, and she is supposed to know Chinese medicine as well. Once again, these are all above the pay grade of a typical court lady. In the present, she is clever and SUPER adaptable. She can use a mobile phone and other mod cons within hours of crash landing in modern Seoul. Who is she? I sense a great disturbance in the Force. 🤔

Along the way, several characters are used as plot devices. Such as the lady shaman which is air dropped into the plot to give the writer-nim a convenient out. There is no backstory. Is she a demi-god?

My biggest issue is with the soul of the modern FL. She is meant to be a c-grade actress playing small roles to survive. She was a famous child star, but a family tragedy torpedoed her promising career. The show did give us a bit of her backstory, but it is hyper fixated on one event. Then nothing. Why is this woman the Chosen One?

To this day, I'm still not sure what happened to her soul. Did it get wiped? Did she get send to Joseon? If you stop and think about, it feels wrong. That woman lived for 30+ years and has a grandma who loves her. Don't get in the way of story telling is a poor excuse. This is why I have a love-hate relationship with this series.

On the positive side, I love the FL's acting. She IS the show. The ML is fine. He is suitably stoic and handsome. He played both roles comfortably.

They certainly have chemistry and the skinship felt nice and natural. Especially towards the end when they are quite playful with each other. This is a nice change from the one-and-done staged kiss with fireworks.

The large ensemble is filled with familiar faces. Most of their roles are straight out of central casting. They fulfilled their contractual obligations.

Then the ending happened. Ye gods, they must have blown their budget on rainbow effect and unicorn hire. It is sweetness overload and should come with health warnings.

Our leads certainly deserved their HEA ending and I can't complain. My problem is how it is delivered. It is just a parade of scenes. Delightful but hardly illuminating.

Oh, there is one final sting in that tail. The FL visits the antagonist in jail and did the usual farewell speech. She then told him he could have broken the cycle of suffering that trapped the three of them. The problem is the antagonist has no memory of his past life so he is just being a ruthless heir-in-waiting. He did exactly what is expected of his character. It feels rather self serving.

If I'm honest, I'm not sure what she is talking about either. I don't remember any 300yo curse. Our writer-nim loves this type of "convenient" throwaway lines and subplots. It sounds good on a neat and tidy storyboard with the writer-nim seeing all. We are none the wiser.

This is the fundamental problem. It is hard to be immersed when you start to question everything.

In the end, I must temper my expectations. It went from a refreshing and promising romance to a messy guilty pleasure. Damn those little grey cells. I wish I can go full couch potato mode.

Even now, half of me wants to bottle the swoon-y bits and sell them on Etsy. The other half is hugging my therapy teddy while rocking back and fore mumbling "Ask no questions. Ask no . .".

Inner peace. INNER PEACE.

A Masterpiece of Intrigue and Endless Bromance – 10/10!

As a huge fan of dark wuxia and mastermind characters, Whispers of Fate completely blew me away. It is a rare gem that delivers flawless execution from the very first episode to the breathtaking finale.Story (10/10):The political intrigue and schemes in this drama are top-tier. It keeps you on the edge of your seat with smart, ruthless, and morally grey characters playing a deadly game of chess. What I loved the most was the heavy focus on deep loyalty and brotherhood over romance. The pacing was perfect, and the plot twists were incredibly well-thought-out.Acting & Cast (10/10):Luo Yunxi delivers an absolute masterclass in acting. His character is brilliant, complex, and emotionally deep. But honestly? The best part of the whole show was the Male Lead's chemistry with the rest of the cast. He literally had insane chemistry and a top-tier bromance with every single male character on screen, haha! Whether they were friends, allies, or even rivals, the tension and bonds were peak entertainment.Music & Production (10/10):The cinematography is gorgeous, perfectly capturing the dark, atmospheric mood of the Jianghu. The fight choreographies are sharp, dynamic, and full of weight. Combined with a beautiful soundtrack, the production value is outstanding.Overall:If you are looking for a brilliant, smart historical drama driven by exceptional schemes and unmatched brotherhood with every guy around, do not skip this one. A well-deserved 10/10!

Simple but cute

I'm writing this review before I had watched the Japanese version. The only reason I'm watching this at the moment is because of 'ลบยัง' ost. So fucking peak bro. I love the dance aswell it's so cute and I've been seeing it everywhere. I'm not sure why it never crossed my mind to watch this series, especially as someone who has been watching since like 2018. Even if the most is peak I have to say the begin title is not my style at all and one of the most disappointing once I've seen Gmmtv have. A lot of people who saw the Japanese version say they prefer the Japanese one. I'm really excited to see the Japanese version aswell. Haven't seen the best reviews on this series, so when I started this I got really curious on why? But now I get it.

Love how the cast includes a lot of newer and less well known gmmtv actors. I really hope to see more of Chokun, Pahn, Aungpao and Papang in the future. Although I did watch some other series where they played supports in. Having a more original casting is also sooo fucking nice because it isn't like: "oh hey didn't you play in ....." every time I watch a scene. Also really good acting work, love especially fourth and Chokun.

Ok so I know this sounds weird but I love misunderstandings. It just adds some small angst to the story, but for this story, in my opinion, the angst was really weak. I loved how fluff, sweet and green flagged coded the characters were, but it also made the story weak, especially on the first part. It's just veryyyy simple not super special or anything. Just you average middle school romance.

I love how it's Idiots in love and it makes it really funny. Just two stupid losers who don't know what to do with their feelings. Lol and half and Kongthap not do a shit when it comes to confessing hahahhah, it was just Atom and Matmi that did all the work. They tried to get closer to their love interests but for Half and Kongthap there was like barely any effort. Also, I was expecting something like a love triangle but even that was gone within 2 episodes, just like the erasure and the feelings Atom had for Matmi... I have to say, I started this show for Kongthap and Atom but stayed for Half and Matmi. I normally feel more relatable to the gay couples, but the story of Half and Matmi was wayyy more interesting than the gay story.

Again, it's very mid. But, I do think this show is more for kids/younger audience. From the romance, slow burn and story. Another thing I have to mention is the expression weren't strong either. That's not the actor's fault, but the writing. They barely had very emotional or expressive realisation moments. Which made the series feel cheap. There was almost nothing shown over the fear of coming out, even though they clearly TRIED to imply it. Love the Gay teachers who helped Atom realise his feelings, because apparently he couldn't do that himself? It's nice how they tried to add them but they ended up having to fix the relationship issues, and after it was fixed like almost ZERO screen time.

Overall, the ending was veryyyy weak. Nothing special and I'm not sure if I would suggest the series. This is cute for people who are like 13-14 years old maybe. I think I would've definitely liked it more if I watched it back then. It also kinda reminds me of heartstoppers, especially with the type of romance. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some influences they got from heartstoppers, it just got the same kind of vibe yk? Another thing I disliked was the amount of advertising. Like yes, you have sponsors but seriously? Needing to add it every 3 seconds?
