soooooo cringy and irritating at first glance

I really tried to bite through this one, I didn't like the first season that much, but I kept going because it left us on a cliffhanger. I'd say that the actors and the actresses did their job excellently and left us with so much irritation towards them which I think is quite well done. Although this drama is based off of a quite dumb narrative in my opinion, going that much trouble just to get "rich" is insanity of work.

boring

It dragged on until it became boring.
At first it was funny and the story started to flow, but it got to the middle and started to get boring. I don't think it should have 16 episodes, maybe 12 episodes would be better, because up until episode 16 it dragged on and I got to a point where I couldn't stand the main characters anymore.

Great plot

A great plot that has everything, culture, folklore, history, politics/corruption/subversion, fantasy, and romance (an unconditional love story), everything in precise doses, great chemistry between the leads, perfect casting, characters that develop with the plot, in general, in life you need to meet the right people at the right time, who can also change a fixed worldview, whether it's a man and a woman or whether it's friends or girlfriends.. For those who love historical drama, it's perfect and recommended (and it doesn't have the violence that you usually see in historical dramas) ♥♥

BEAUTIFUL! IT WAS SHORT BUT ENJOYABLE!

I like this series it was a bit short on the episodes but overall, it was worth the time. All the actors were pretty and handsome. I like how straight-forward it was bruh no intro no outro just the thing you want to watch.

The ending was cool it was a cliffhanger but a realistic ending in a sense that not all love is meant to be a happy ending.

The continuation is that he got to the airport and said goodbye to his little brother then many years later. His brother married his girlfriend and had a child then lived happily ever after. 🥰😍🥳🥳

K-Drama Sequels usually disappoint

This will be a short review since i wont write much about the plot for spoilers, but I was a huge fan of the first season and was left feeling like season 2 was lackluster and found season 3 disappointing.

I'm not sure about this, but what i read online is that the first season was based on the manhwa, and it was a short manhwa which ended at the end of season 1. Season 2 and 3 should be originals regarding the plot and it shifted towards a more comedic genre. this is especially true for season 2.

Season 3 tried to pull it back to a more serious tone but still keeps tries to keep comedy. what we have is basically similar to what happened with Thor 4....which isn't great...

The action scenes also disappoint greatly . Season 1 Action scenes were superb, 2 introduced motion sickness with the camera flying around like a drone stuck in a whirlwind and season 3..if you blink you'd miss the action...

also Season 1 and 2 still stuck to punishing the bad guys. Either thru an eye for an eye or a proper imprisonment. Here, they're just executed...and finally, the connection between season 2 and 3...doesn't exist..it just wasn't addressed, and we're left with a cliffhanger for season 4 that would never be made...

Disappointing

I vaguely remember watching the Japanese version and the movie sequel but I don't believe they were the same as this drama.

Because if I remember one thing, it's that the Japanese one didn't have a good end at all, not the show nor the movie xD and I dare say, as should be!!

I can understand how they went with the story, even the cheating characters and the reason behind it, but I can't for the life of me understand Jung Woo's wife "Min young".
Honey, if someone marries you to get your ass out of a messy infidelity relationship, and you leave this guy for 3 years alone to achieve your dreams in a another country then he asks you for a divorce! You give him one!! Because the whole "good wife" character isn't you!! You did the same before so if your husband cheated, you should not dare to act hurt or confront him and force him into a relationship with you!! You reap what you sow !!

Now for other characters
FL: coward 1 ... Because I don't think your husband being a nice guy is a reason enough to not ask for a divorce if you can't breathe without the ML... Just divorce him, because after all this mess, you will end up divorced anyway, and even if we put cheating aside, girl!! The way he treated you Vs the birds?? FFS why are you with him?? Because Nice isn't a quality enough to keep you married to him, so he treated you badly, didn't notice when you are sick or even care about you, moreover you have a sexless marriage for 3 years??? 3 FREAKIN YEARS, MATE!!! And not to mention his intrusive mother who keep stressing you about kids while it's her son's fault!! What exactly were you waiting for to leave?? What made me more furious is the fact that by the end of the series, he is now married with a child! C'mon! If you don't like your wife enough to sleep with her or she can't make you"get it up", then leave her don't push her into a marriage that is useless for both of you ~

ML: coward 2, what's keeping you in this marriage? Give me one reason to stay in it? You have never loved her, never cared about her, she belittles you and low-key ashamed of you, she leaves you behind for 3 years and come back after learning with your money to look down on you... Tell me again why are you in this relationship???

SFL: now here I kinda see a reason to stay in this damned marriage, 2 kids one of them is practically a baby, still the husband is terrible, I don't understand one thing, you were this open brave woman who cheated repeatedly with literally everyone and you were so out and about, telling people you don't even know about your rendezvous openly, then oh my god my kids!! My husband caught me!! And I can't live without them, you suddenly remember that you are a mother? Oh please!! You are a great mother for sure, but you saw that coming ~

SML: Mr. Enigma... I just don't understand him, so I'll just leave him be~

One thing I didn't like generally about this show is so many intrusive characters, like the high schooler kid? Wtf is wrong with you!! If you have a family situation just focus on your family, don't go and snoop around other people's affairs!! And the hoobae in FL's husband's office, girl get a grip!! You have this long confrontation with the FL about her husband while you practically did the same, you kissed a married guy and keep popping up everywhere he is!! So how dare you, bitch!!!

Lastly, I think this one was more sugar coated version, and slightly stretched, I don't think this needed 16 episodes it could be 12 and that would definitely be more than enough ~

It all comes down to one issue - Writing

Classic case of things happening because of the plot, not plot happening because of the things.
It's still very addicting watch, but not in "savor every minut" but more like "being strung along" kind of way.
Even the most tolerant of viewers would have trouble to suspense their disbelief all the way through.
Feeling a bit disappointed I grabbed the book it's based on, and wow, now I'm really disappointed. It was an amazing read. I couldn't put it down.
I was thinking of picking this drama back again after I finish the book, just for the romance and battles parts, but I can't make myself watch it now.
Now everything seams wrong. Casting, scenes, lines, everything looks like the worst possible choice.
They removed part where she died and woke up in the body of a different girl. Because of that, the story in drama makes unfathomable leaps to patch itself up. I cannot understand why some of the mediocre scenes were copied 1:1 but the very powerful ones, like their meeting at the temple on the mountain, where she tries to hung herself, was change beyond recognition and personally for me didn't have any impact. And it was placed at the beginning, when I didn't even understood what it was about. Before reading the book it was confusing, now it feels like such a waste.
This sentiment applies to the entire production. Before reading the book - confusing and cringy, after reading it - well, just a waste of amazing reading material. More so with such an amazing fighting scenes in drama. I would love to see them all, if only I could bare to taint my reading experience with the rest of it.
Shame.

C.Affairs don't go down well with me, I don't like it and I don't like the idea of affairs being a solution for a messed up marriage or relationship.
And this drama is a realistic example, it shows how an affair can destroy lifes and no one would win at the end, so this drama as a story is realistic and nice though I still think they glamorized affairs and you'd be fine as long as you do your homework, be a good nice wife/husband and not get caught.

I don't fully agree with the comment saying that it's hard for eastern people to divorce, well yes it's difficult but that's the only solution, affair isn't and that's what they actually did at the end, what I think is better as a solution is talking to each other, if you went to the point of marriage then you know that person or understand him, at least love him a little, there gotta be some kind of attachment to that person to marry him -if that's not the case then you can't complain about anything you are not even living anymore, just get a divorce or suck it up- that's why you should talk your problems out, fix it, go to a couple therapy or try something, try to solve it using your mind, you chose that person to continue your life with then try hard to make it work, and if it didn't work, don't go making stupid and irrational decisions, it won't help.

a bit good but mediocre drama.

if y'all like political but a bit of romance then, I suggest you this drama. the storyline was good or maybe but it's still watchable.as a feminist some parts might make you ragebaited really hard. but at some point you might the k-drama a bit boring and it's okay.(at this point that's All I have to say but this 500 characters word review is annoying the shit out of me). so overall, suggested political k-drama. love the female politicians and the tall couple lmao. (a bit of spoiler;- it has sad ending tho)

A marriage of Thai and Japanese people and culture

Mukai Koji is the only Japanese actor who spoke the entire Thai language in this Thai drama, where all the staff and cast were Thai. He plays a strong-willed, strict, yet kind boss with fluent Thai and the way he uses his gaze and facial expressions. He has good chemistry with his co-star, Thai actor March, and I'm looking forward to seeing how their love story will progress.

subpar mini shorts

nothing much to say quite your average shorts
not going to compare with those 2-3ep shorts...
but comparing it to the usual-1ep-shorts i will say its subpar level. but i mean i seen worst so this is still okay but skippable imo, there are a few sweeter or cuter 1ep shorts that has a more interesting storyline..
also, this might be a short for advertising on dating app ? it feel like so hahahaha (Sorry)

Perhaps one of the worst stories ever told

If you value character agency, military honour, or even the basic laws of cause and effect, stay well away from this beautifully packaged disaster. While Wonderland of Love boasts an "S-tier" budget, elite choreography, and top-tier leads, the script is an absolute car crash of "Dog Blood" tropes and industrial-scale gaslighting.
The "Simp" and the "Damsel"
The show marketed itself as a "Power Couple" dynamic, but what we actually received was a total mockery of the genre. The Male Lead (Li Ni) is a legendary General who has been completely lobotomised by the script. He spends the duration of the series "taking it up the backside" from an abusive, incompetent Emperor and a Female Lead who treats him with nothing but coldness and irrational hatred. To see a war hero reduced to a "walking apology" who ignores the slaughter of his own soldiers to nurse an ungrateful partner is profoundly ridiculous and unfit for purpose.
Moral and Military Collapse
The writing regarding the military is pure nonsense. In Episode 14, after the ML’s army is massacred by the FL’s camp, the narrative has the audacity to flip the script and make the FL the victim because the ML "didn’t trust her." The nonchalant attitude toward the deaths of the soldiers—treated as mere spectators in a toxic romance—is grotesque. Even worse is the "protected villain" status of the foster brother and the traitorous generals, who are permitted to commit high treason and walk away from executions simply to facilitate more "misery porn."
The Emperor of Idiocy
The crowning achievement in this demented storytelling is the Emperor. He is a provably incompetent imbecile who abused the ML and framed the FL’s family, yet by the finale, the script attempts a "redemption lobotomy." Watching this sociopath pivot into a "fun uncle" figure giving leadership advice in the final episode is an insult to the audience’s intelligence. It is not "filial piety"; it is a study in Stockholm Syndrome passed off as virtue.
Verdict
Do not be fooled by the high-budget fights or the lead chemistry. This is a bargain-bin soap opera dressed in expensive silk. It rewards abusers, punishes the loyal, and ignores logic at every turn. A complete waste of resources and a 1/10 for anyone who respects themselves or the art of storytelling.

Short & Sweet!!!!

This one’s officially for the books! 📚 I’d rewatch this any day, any time. I originally gave it a shot because it was a mini BL, and after seeing Surf and Java as VanFarm, I was ready to be mad! Their 'shitty' relationship turned out surprisingly good, though. I can’t believe this was their first project together—their chemistry is undeniable both on and off-screen. I had a massive smile the whole time watching them bicker, swear, and just mess around with each other. A total 10/10 for me on everything: the music, direction, writing, and production! ⭐

Only Friends Season 2 Is Hotter, Wilder, and Completely Addictive

After waiting 2.5 years for Season 2 of Only Friends, Episode 1 truly did not disappoint. This is easily a 9 out of 10 for me. Seeing so many talented actors from GMMTV in one series still feels unreal.

Season 2 is even sexier, bolder, and messier, and I am loving every moment of it. The tone is more intense right away, with stronger chemistry and more emotional chaos. The confidence in the storytelling really shows, and the cast delivers across the board.

What excites me most is seeing actors break away from their previous images. Earth/Mix, who many remember from A Tale of Thousand Stars, steps into a completely different type of character here, and the contrast is so satisfying to watch.

Joss and Gawin, who shared the screen in My Golden Blood, also feel refreshed in this university setting, proving their range once again.

The standout couple for me is Boom and Aou. Their bathroom one night stand was incredibly hot and steamy, bold without feeling forced. The tension between them is undeniable, and I cannot wait to see how their dynamic develops.

I am also counting down the episodes until Neo appears because I just know he is going to make everything even more chaotic. Only Friends Season 2 feels bigger, riskier, and more addictive already. I am completely hooked. 9 out of 10.

easily forgettable

I went into Cinderella Again thinking it would be an emotional, nostalgic time-travel romance. The premise sounded interesting ;a woman getting the chance to go back and relive her youth, possibly correcting regrets and rediscovering love. That kind of storyline has so much potential for depth, reflection, and heartbreak.
But unfortunately, Cinderella Again didn’t work for me.
The biggest issue was the lack of emotional depth. Everything felt surface-level, the story, and the characters' motivations I kept waiting for something to truly move me, but it never did.
Then there’s the time-travel dynamic. Yes, physically she returns to her younger self, but mentally she is still 29 years old. Watching her develop romantic feelings for a 17-year-old felt uncomfortable to me. I couldn’t fully immerse myself in the romance because that awareness never disappears. Instead of feeling sweet or nostalgic, it felt strange.
The chemistry between the leads also wasn’t convincing. I didn’t feel that spark, that emotional tension or longing that makes you root for two people. It felt more like two actors following a script rather than two souls reconnecting across time.
As for the male lead, I’ve seen him in several BL dramas and other straight romances, and I know he can deliver strong performances. That’s why I was surprised that here his acting felt somewhat stiff and lacking flow. Maybe it was the direction, maybe the script, maybe the pairing, but something just didn’t click.
Of course, this is just my experience. I can see how some viewers might enjoy the nostalgia or the fantasy aspect. But for me, I simply couldn’t find it.
