Refreshing, Realistic, and Delightfully Cute
I absolutely loved this drama. Both the ML and FL are relatively new, which is refreshing for a young school romance drama. The ML has a charming bad boy vibe, kind of a mix of Seo In Guk and Ding YuXi, and the FL is smart, confident, and cute. Their chemistry is delightful, with slow-burn romance, teasing, and playful flirting that will make you smile like an idiot. The ML is a real hunter when it comes to the FL, and she never stands a chance against him. She is shy, but not too timid to speak up for herself. Her roommates and friends are all supportive, with no jealous characters causing drama, which makes the story feel genuine. That boy is a green flag, made of green flags, planted in a green field surrounded by a green forest on a green planet.
I absolutely loved this drama. It is cute, sweet, and refreshingly realistic. The male lead has a charming bad boy vibe that suits him perfectly, and the female lead is smart, confident, and not overly naive. Their chemistry is delightful, with slow-burn romance, teasing, and playful flirting that keeps you smiling throughout.
The friendships are genuine and supportive, and the dorm setting adds charm without unnecessary jealousy or drama. The storyline is well-written, with clever dialogue and thoughtful pacing, including beautiful flashbacks that enrich the characters. The drama strikes a perfect balance of innocence, honesty, and romance. It's heartfelt, fun, and highly rewatchable.
The drama is heartfelt, realistic, and fun. The dialogue and pacing are excellent, and the way the relationship slowly builds feels natural and earned. The ML is seductive yet grounded, and the FL’s innocence is just right. Their honesty and mutual respect make their relationship truly endearing. The supporting cast is equally wonderful, adding warmth and charm without overshadowing the main leads.
This is my first vertical youth drama that I genuinely enjoyed it. The script and performances were a perfect match for each other. Very sweet, slow-burn romance with relatable friendships and a heartwarming story. I highly recommend it.

Aren't they the perfect pair?
My second time watching this little gem and I always make me warm inside. Do Bong Sun and An Min Hyeok chemistry is so cute. I enjoy all the comedic scenes from their own families to the gangsters LOL. They were all hilarious and how could I leave out An Min Hyeok assistant and O Dol Pyu (who was always in love with Min Hyeok)Kim Won Hae portrayed both a gangster and office worker and played those roles so well.
Overall, you get a mixture or action, new friendships, romance, mystery, comedy and family.
Perfect ending for me too as I always love seeing marriage and them starting a family.

Ummmm, the starting was a turn off
I know the first seconds this wasnt the one and I continued and I couldnt pass 2 minutes. This was not what I was expecting.Like how did they come up with the script?
Not to compare it with Strong Girl Bong Soon but this should not have been a sequel.
The acting was bad and didnt like the CGI

The Perfect Lie Wore Couture
Luxury comes with a price, often more for perception than substance. Sarah Kim wields this truth expertly, constructing an entire persona as the regional manager of the fictitious European fashion house Boudoir. She storms Seoul’s elite fashion scene with flair, hosting a launch party that captivates the city’s upper echelon. Yet after the event, Sarah vanishes. Her body is later discovered in a Cheongdam sewer, identified only by a distinctive tattoo and a rare designer handbag.Detective Park Mu-gyeong is tasked with the investigation, but the series quickly pivots from a conventional “whodunit” to a deeper, more unsettling question: Was Sarah Kim ever real? She had appeared abruptly, purchasing out entire collections from luxury boutiques and claiming authority over Boudoir, a brand so exclusive that few had ever heard of it. Her elaborate deceptions ensnare ambitious fashion insiders and nouveau riche elites, all eager for validation from old-money circles.
The show invites inevitable comparisons to Netflix’s Inventing Anna and the acclaimed K-drama Anna, scrutinizing society’s obsession with status and appearance. Sarah’s life is laid bare as a constructed fantasy, a brilliant con juxtaposed against her past as an indebted, ordinary woman. Boudoir’s success, entirely fabricated, highlights that prestige exists only as it is recognized by the powerful. Sarah’s narration sets the tone with chilling precision: “Truth, like light, blinds us. Falsehood is like a beautiful sunset that enhances everything.”
Narratively, the series is intricate and layered, employing fractured flashbacks that overlap timelines. The procedural element, the murder investigation, remains secondary, and while Mu-gyeong is visually compelling, his character lacks depth.
Visually, the series is sumptuous, filled with glittering handbags, exquisite couture, and sleek cinematography. Shin Hye-sun inhabits Sarah with remarkable versatility, effortlessly shifting between confidence, charm, and brazen audacity.
At its core, The Art of Sarah is a critique of modern society’s fixation on appearances over substance. Yet the show’s relentless emphasis on glamour sometimes eclipses narrative clarity, leaving illusion itself as the ultimate triumph.

love the bond they all have.
I love the bond they all have. Everyone has their own path and interest. They support each other and try to be there for one another and that is exactly how Song I and Tae O relationship is.It took a while for them to realize their own feelings that it was more than just case they had for one another.
Do Hyeon red flags were just growing and growing for me.
If they had decided to stay together, I know for sure he would not be 100% happy because of his insecurities.
Like he knew they were friends since 3.
I am glad Song I and Tae O were able to be honest with each other and enjoy their relationship even more now.

Nice start, but the rest was pretty disappointing.
Honestly, I had much higher expectations for this, and since I was watching it as it was coming out, I slowly started losing any interest I had in this series overall.Where to watch: https://www.youtube.com/@letme_yourheart
Things I liked:
1. Jack is such a cutie and is always speaking his heart.
2. Ja. He has his fair share of flaws, but I still really liked this character for the most part.
3. Fern. She is so supportive, cute, and a great friend.
4. Thanu and Kwang. I love their dynamic. They were moving a bit too quick for my liking, but other than that, they definitely were my favorite couple.
5. Jack and Win resolving their "conflict" and having a civil discussion like normal, grown adults. Honestly, it was refreshing to see this instead of those cliche exes.
Things I disliked:
1. Dirty glasses in episode 1 (that's just a personal pet peeve.)
2. Jack's fans. So obnoxious.
3. Could be cringy at times, but it is bearable.
4. I honestly don't feel that much chemistry between the main couple, and it feels like everything is happening a bit too fast.
5. Forcing unnecessary drama because they can't write anything meaningful.
6. Whatever happened at the end of the 7th episode. There is no way they actually did that...
7. Our friend just died a few days ago? TIME TO PARTY!!!
8. Too much mindless drama. As soon as everything seems to settle, something has to happen again and again. Give us a break!!!
9. (?) This one is not necessarily dislike towards the series, but watching episodes 9 and 10 was almost impossible because of subtitles or lack thereof. There are no English subs on YouTube for the last 2 episodes, and the only way to watch it is with the auto-translate subs, which is annoying, I'm not going to lie.

First part was great but when FL and ML together the plot went downhill
I watched this last year and it was quite memorable Song Yuan Ye because of Yao Guan Yu acting but still didn't become my favorite drama. Sun Lulu acting was quite decent compare to another version. The beginning is quite interesting, with the plot revolving around the female lead forcibly taking her childhood friend's fiancée, but in reality, FL has amnesia and has forgotten ML However, the plot falls apart later on, feeling anticlimactic and leaving many plot holes unresolved. Sun Lulu have a slight on-screen chemistry with Yao Guanyu. It would have been better if there hadn't been the kidnapping scene at the end it's really distracting the dramas.
Still decent watch though.

Powerhouse Acting, Fragile Script
The Art of Illusion | "If you can't distinguish fake from real, then is it really fake?"➥ SYNOPSIS: The Art of Sarah follows a woman who reinvents herself through carefully crafted lies, climbing into high society using nothing but intelligence, confidence, and deception. As a murder investigation begins to unravel her world, the drama slowly reveals who Sarah really is - and how far she’s willing to go to protect the life she created. It strongly reminded me of another Netflix show "Inventing Anna", especially in the way it explores identity, ambition, and social climbing through illusion. But that's where the comparison ended.
➥ MESSAGE: The drama critiques society’s obsession with status, luxury, and appearances. It shows how easily people accept illusion as truth when it’s packaged attractively. Prestige only exists because powerful people decide it does. In many ways, the system itself creates someone like Sarah.
➥ PROS: Acting & Visuals/Cinematography
I started this drama because I believe in the acting talent of the mains - Shin Hye Sun and Lee Jun Hyuk. I have seen them since the time they have been support actors & have loved the evolution as being regarded as acting powerhouses. And they both have a visual presence that you simply cannot ignore.
In this drama - Shin Hye-sun completely owns it and rightfully so as this is Sarah’s story. She moves effortlessly between confidence, vulnerability, and manipulation. She shines brighter than the glamour and couture of "Boudoir" bags. Lee Jun-hyuk plays the investigator well. He’s solid and convincing, but I thinks his character was not written well, as I have seen him much stronger before. Still he powers through as he's a talented and actor, and together, they made the cat and mouse chase enjoyable. The cinematography adds to the story as it is sleek and stylish, with luxury settings and fashion that reinforce the theme of illusion without overpowering the story.
➥ CONS: Weak Writing & Unexplained Plot Holes
Despite my genuine affection for the lead actors—and the undeniable talent they bring to their performances, which makes the drama consistently engaging—I can’t overlook the evident weaknesses in the writing. One particularly glaring issue was the unexplained corpse introduced in Episode 4, a plot point that was abruptly abandoned as the story shifted in a different direction. Additionally, the ending felt overly convenient and ultimately unconvincing. While I appreciate the intended message, its delivery seemed rushed and would have benefited from clearer development rather than relying on a convoluted “con-within-a-con” twist. Although the conclusion aligns with the central theme—that certain circumstances can give rise to someone like Sarah, and others like her—the final episodes lacked cohesion and narrative payoff.
➥ OVERALL:
I’d still recommend it as a one-time watch—it’s short, well-acted, visually strong, and offers thoughtful social commentary. While the writing could have been tighter and better developed, it remains a solid effort and an engaging pick for the 2026 drama line-up. If you enjoy stories about con artists, investigations, manipulation, and social themes, you’ll likely appreciate it—just go in with reasonable expectations rather than expecting a masterpiece.

Friendship, Love, Family
I kept skipping over this on netflix for the longest time and finally just clicked on it as a "filler" while I was working but it got my attention!!! I regret not watching this years back. The part where Choi Hun was hearing a night gown and heels is always on TikTok and I finally got to see where they got the clip from.
The drama is about friends in their early 20s going to university and navigating their life, friendships and families.
Each one had their own path, own interest and somehow they still have a strong bond.
I understand the relationship between Yun Tae O and Han Song I. Their minds werent really thinking that far into what they already have...but when Do Hyeon came into the pic, Song I took that step towards him as she felt it was the right thing to do.
At first, I actually thought Do Hyeon and Song I were good together until I realized some little red flags.

FLUFFY EARTH = HEARTTHROB!!
OKAYYYYY LISTEN. I took almost A YEAR off BL. A WHOLE YEAR. I was minding my business, touching grass (barely), healing, whatever. AND THEN Ossan’s Love Thailand CAME IN LIKE “MISS ME?” AND I WAS LIKE "OH I’M BACK, BITCHES. FULL FORCE."When I first watched the trailer, my brain already went yeah… this gonna eat. And did it disappoint me? HELL NAWWWWWW. Earth in this role????? EXCUSE ME???? This is NOT the Earth I’m used to. I usually bark for Mix, that’s my man, but THIS TIME?? EARTH SAID “LET ME COOK.” He’s soft. He’s fluffy. He’s pathetic in a cute way. He’s giving “I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m trying 🥺”. And somehow… I FELL. HARD.
Also let it be known: I HATE FLUFF. My horny ass skips fluff religiously. And yet here I was… watching EVERYTHING NO SKIPPING. That’s how you KNOW it’s serious.
Alright. Let’s break this mess down.
__________________________________________________________
a) CHARACTERS
- Heng ( played by Earth)
Let me be real. I HATED HIM AT FIRST. Like genuinely. This man invites drama into his life like it’s a hobby. Everything that went wrong could’ve been solved with ONE WORD: NO. Just say no. Please. I’m begging.
Kongdech confesses to him and Heng just stands there like 🧍♂️. Not rejecting. Not accepting. Just… existing. Sir. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?? Supposedly a top but emotionally moving like a confused bottom with no spine. Then he AGREES TO MARRY HIS BOSS because he’s sad about Mo and I had to pause like… GIRL ARE YOU OKAY??? BUT. AND THIS IS IMPORTANT. Once he starts living with Mo, the development ACTUALLY HITS. He matures. He becomes more independent (a little… he’s still clingy and kinda gross sometimes but okay). And I loved that his sexuality wasn’t a whole dramatic crisis arc. He just goes “I like this person” and that’s it. Gender? WHO???
NOW LET’S TALK ABOUT EARTH BEING CUTE. Because I was NOT READY. I like him HARD. DOMINANT. SERIOUS. But here??? He’s fluffy??? Soft??? SMILING??? I wanted to squish his face like a stress ball. And then when he suddenly switches into serious mode right before kissing Mo??? BRO. CLAIM HIM. BITE HIM. DO SOMETHING.
AND THAT SCENE WHERE HE BEGS MO NOT TO LEAVE. YALL. He gets hurt, rubs his cheek all sad and small, and I was DONE. Crying. Screaming. Protecting him with my life. DO NOT TOUCH MY HENG EVER AGAIN.
Annoying start. Solid growth. I forgive him. Mostly.
- Mo ( played by Mix)
This one hurts because I EXPECTED MORE. He started strong. Confident. Knows what he wants. Persistent. Smart. Rational. POWER BOTTOM ENERGY LOADING. And then… it just disappeared??? Every inconvenience and suddenly he’s overthinking, self-sacrificing, playing the victim. Heng’s mom doesn’t know they’re dating and Mo goes “let’s break up to protect you” and I was like… WHO ASKED??? Because it was NOT Heng.
Instead of developing, his character kinda went downhill. BUT I’ll give him this: his ego isn’t huge. When he realises he can’t live without Heng, he actually goes back and confesses properly. Points for emotional honesty. Still. I wanted him more cunty. More persistent. More fight. You’re competing with the BOSS OF THE COMPANY and THIS is the energy??? He’s stuck between MID and GAH DAMN FINE.
- Kongdech / Boss ( played by Krit)
UNEXPECTED KING. Yes, he annoyed me at first because I was rooting for HengMo, but WOW did he grow on me. Best character development in the entire series, NO DEBATE. He’s unintentionally hilarious. I had to pause multiple times because I was laughing too hard. Big manly body, soft lover boy heart. AND THE BIGGEST GREEN FLAG: he NEVER abused his power. Never separated Heng and Mo at work. Never played dirty. He fought FAIR. And then he becomes the matchmaker at the end??? I was like PAIR THIS MAN UP RIGHT NOW. HE DESERVES LOVE TOO.
__________________________________________________________
b) PLOT
Plot-wise? Actually decent. The pacing is fine. Not dragging, not rushing. It works. It starts with Kongdech confessing after Heng sees HIS OWN FACE as the wallpaper. INSANE BEHAVIOUR. Iconic though. Mo sees this and decides to confess… IN THE SHOWER. WHICH LEADS TO A KISS. A HOT ONE. AND THEN? Welp. That’s basically all the steam we get. PAIN. SORROW. DEVASTATION. But fine. The show leans heavy on comedy and fluff, and the kisses still carry enough tension to keep me alive.
Mo vs Kongdech competing for Heng? INTERESTING BUT UNDERUSED. I wanted more rivalry. More chaos. More petty nonsense. Instead, the plot focuses on Heng realising his feelings, dating Mo, breaking up, preparing to marry Kongdech, cancelling the wedding, then getting back with Mo. I had multiple “HUH???” moments but emotionally it still landed. BUT LET’S TALK ABOUT WHAT PISSED ME OFF. There is NO PROPER CLOSURE WITH HENG’S MOM. We NEVER actually see Heng telling her Mo is his boyfriend. I get it, she’s travelling, but HELLO??? Your son is getting MARRIED and you’re just… gone??? MIA??? GET A GRIP MOM.
Side pairings were weak. Newyear and Chicha had NO SCREEN TIME. No wonder she barely remembers him. Ten deserved closure. Ten deserved love. Kongdech deserved love too but Heng and Mo filled that… hole. Interpret that however you want 👅 Ending was predictable but it’s a comedy. We knew.
__________________________________________________________
c) OST
OST SLAPS. Fun. Lively. Lowkey trot vibes but it WORKS. No skips.
__________________________________________________________
d) OVERALL
If you’re here for steam, LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS IMMEDIATELY. It does not exist. But if you want something light, funny, fluffy, and genuinely enjoyable? This series DELIVERS. Perfect show to drag me back into BL. Easy watch. Not emotionally heavy. Made my cheeks hurt from smiling. Again, I want to highlight that I don’t rewatch unless a series rewires my brain chemistry, so I won’t rewatch this—but the WATCH VALUE? HIGH.
9/10.
Fun. Cute. Chaotic. Worth your time.

Just one big miscommunication
First off, I love Wang Yan Xin. He's the GOAT. This show? Not so much. It was basically one big miscommunication, assumptions, and emotional baggage. Like come on! How can you never meet your fiancé face to face and still kick her out? It was just a bundle of things that wouldn't have happened if two adults sat down and communicated. HELL! Not even that much, they just needed to see each other (with the grandma, lol) and it would have been solved. But NO, the writers decided to spend the entire show proving these two adults were in fact children.
Cute little romance moments, but meh, save yourself the frustration. Unless you like this sort of show, then its excellent! All the little ways they miss each other, and yet still end up together in the end.

Not A Popular Opinion
This drama started with a bang. The first episode was intriguing and mysterious. But the pacing got quite slow for my liking. The preparation and the elimination of the first enemy took too long for my liking. I dropped the drama twice in between. The acting and cinematography were nice, but the pacing was too slow. There were some thrilling moments in between, but overall, there was not enough balance for my liking. As for the story, the writing was not that good. The revelation of the 3rd enemy was hinted at right from the start, because of the mask. I did not find the main surprise element that surprising at all, unfortunately. Also, the finale did not feel satisfying to me at all. There was not enough tension, and the 3rd enemy got his karma too easily, in my opinion. Moreover, though I understand it was not a romance drama, I unfortunately did not find any chemistry between the ML & FL. The FL was brilliant in the initial episode, but I absolutely did not like how her character later turned out. Though I understand it was a male-centric drama, the character of the FL could have been handled better. The action scenes were nicely choreographed. Overall, the drama was a decent watch. The writing had way too many loopholes. Not too bad, but not that good either. Was this review helpful to you?

Surprisingly Decent for a Low-Budget BL
Was this groundbreaking? No. Did this teeter on the line of almost being dropped? A couple times! However, as poorly written as this low-budget BL was, it was entertaining and incredibly endearing to learn more about Thai culture, Likay, the gorgeous costume, the detailed pre-preparations before a show, and of course, Poy Tanutcha.Let's Dive In.
I kind of hate the synopsis because it makes it seem like Ja and Jack absolutely despise each other. That might be true for about one episode, but after that it really is not the case. Ja and Jack come from two completely different corners of the entertainment industry. Ja runs a Likay troupe, and Jack is brought in to learn from him for a role in an upcoming series. From there, the story unfolds with a couple of side plots. One side couple is incredibly gorgeous but not particularly compelling, and another less meaningful love story includes a random death, because why not?
I loved the beginning of this because of how enamored Jack was with Ja, even without outright saying it. In episode two, while watching Ja do his makeup, he asks, “Why do you look so beautiful?” I have not felt butterflies like that in a while. That scene alone had me hooked for the rest of the series, even when everything else is pretty imperfect.
A lot of chaotic and unnecessary drama happens. I did appreciate that Ja was given real history. We see his past relationship with his ex, and they even share a kiss. It's rare to see a lead kiss someone outside their main pairing in a BL, so that felt refreshing and realistic. Beyond that, we get the usual “We can’t be together because you’re a celebrity” conflict, along with frustrating back and forth tension that sometimes happens within the same episode. The side couple is gorgeous, but not very significant to me. Very annoyed of their random back story, but whatever.
I was initially annoyed with Fern, but she ended up becoming one of my favorite and strongest characters in the cast. That shift also made me grow more fond of Poy as a Likay dancer.
Incredible costuming, gorgeous singing and dance, beautiful, flawless makeup, and an okay love story between the leads. There are plenty of continuity errors, especially Ja’s constantly changing hairstyle, but for what feels like a one hundred dollar budget and a dream, this was enjoyable enough.
Ratings:
Story: 7/10 - Beautiful Likay, everything else is okay. Lots of annoying back and forth between the leads, a random death for no reason, and everything else outside of that is just okay.
Acting: 7.5/10 - Eh! But, not the worst thing in the world, especially for new actors like Poy and Zaleng. Cooper, Atom, and Kimmy.... what are you guys doing here??
Music: 9/10 - Really enjoyed the music and singing. It a different style than what I'm use to, and it was lovely.
Recommendation Value: 6/10 - It's an easy and fun watch. It's a small production company, so give it some love.

The Art of the Twist
I had incredibly high expectations for The Art of Sarah even before it premiered, and it still managed to go beyond my imagination. The production quality is elite, and the cast is absolutely over-the-top—Shin Hye-sun and Lee Joon-hyuk have incredible chemistry. While there was about an episode in the middle that felt a bit slow/boring, the show keeps you hooked until the very last second. The plot twists were absolutely mind-blowing and kept me questioning everything. If you like psychological thrillers with crazy reveals, this is a must-watch!

You know what? I ate this thing up
I’ve been putting this off but here it goes: I liked it. I really liked it. I’m comically putting 10 stars for everything, because the show was likewise comically ridiculous. Matching energy. With bigger budget, more actors, solid post-production, and longer script, this would have eaten the same way revenged love ate. It didn’t, but I saw the potential, and loved every cringy moment. It has all the cliches, all the phrases I like.
I literally cannot wait for the second season. I hope it comes out soon. One of the actors served a five-course meal and I hope I’ll see him in other works in the future. (You’ll have to give the drama a chance to know which one I mean.)
