-Kissing the Wrong Starlight (2025) is a nice romance drama miniseries with Yu Pei Shan (as Huo Yan Zhou) and Wan Xi (as Li Sui) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple had an alluring chemistry. The drama had a good and tender ending between the leading couple but it feels a little bit abrupt, still, the miniseries is entertaining, enjoy it!In the meantime, this drama can be found in YouTube under the caption: “

Strong Performances, But Lacking Spark
This drama was just about average overall. At times, the plot suddenly became engaging and pulled me in, but at other moments it felt extremely dull and dragged on. The cast delivered solid performances, everyone is clearly talented and I believe the show earned its 7.9 rating largely because of them (though that still feels a bit generous to me).Personally, I would rate it a 7, mainly for the actors’ efforts. However, I didn’t feel any real chemistry between the leads. The romantic scenes lacked that “butterfly” factor.
As a one-time watch, it’s fine. But as for a rewatch? Definitely not.

Importance of 2nd chance
This drama was soooo good! Inspired from the Hollywood movie 17 again, it gave an already unique idea a greater storyline and detailed characters.The flaw of each character made this story more genuine and nuanced. Every character had a great character arc and development movement which they deserved.
I was really scared about how the creators would explore the story on the main characters as the ML is portrayed as a minor! But I loved the fact that the FL was falling in love with the minor ML only because of the characteristics that he possessed as her husband, and I appreciate that the creators didn't normalise the ML being minor as a comic relief but addressed it again and again as an issue, by portraying the FL being guilty every time she thought about the ML.
Even the ending was perfect showing that reality doesn't have a happy ending but it's the moments that the humans create which makes every moment of our life more happy and livable, even when there are fights and disagreements, and effective communication can change the whole course of a relationship.

Park Yu-Ho acted better than two grown-ass adult lead actors. Either he’s genuinely that good, or the adult characters were written as cliché, pointless bickerers with zero depth.The male lead is an immature man-child — something we’ve already seen a hundred times in Korean dramas. Nothing new. Same recycled trope again and again.
The love triangle is painfully obvious:
Female lead ↔ her boss (former college friend / crush) ↔ male lead.
The bickering was fun only until episode 3. From episode 4 onward, the fights had no reason to exist.
The male lead just talks nonsense all day. No logic, no reasoning — he just says whatever comes to his mind, even when it makes absolutely zero sense. It’s exhausting, not entertaining.
Park Yu-Ho, despite being just a 2-year-old, outperformed everyone — without any help from the writers. He had more personality, maturity, and presence than the adult male lead. That alone says everything about how badly the lead character is written.
Nowadays, Korean dramas seem obsessed with either making babies or taking care of babies. Ironically, this show actually discourages people from having kids. It clearly shows how grown adults can’t even take care of themselves — so how are they supposed to raise another fragile human life?
The male lead is extremely selfish, especially considering his so-called “trauma.” He was abandoned by his older brother in an orphanage, and because of that, he wants his own nephew to be abandoned and sent to an orphanage as well.
What kind of sick logic is that?
If he suffered from abandonment, he should want to prevent the same thing from happening to his nephew — not recreate it just so he can feel validated about his own past. Instead of breaking the cycle, he wants to repeat it.
That’s not trauma — that’s selfishness, immaturity, and terrible writing.

Gentle and fluffy.
The plot and characters were cute in a fluffy, don’t take it too serious, kind of way. Jung Gi Seop Was the most innocent HIMBO, but you know he’s going to love Jin U so well.I think it was the first time ever that I liked the second couple so much more. Their story was more compelling and should have been main leads. I feel robbed we didn’t get a comprehensive finish for them, and there’s no updates about a series for them, so I’m guessing we just use our imaginations to make them a couple.

"How a Single Silence Can Alter the Course of Life – A Deep Dive into This Powerful Drama"
I think this drama was good overall, but I would like to highlight a few important points.First, this drama taught me the value of patience and not rushing to make judgments or reach illogical conclusions. I learned not to judge things too quickly, and that’s why I encourage anyone watching it not to judge the drama from the beginning or too hastily.
At some points, I felt impatient, especially because certain events were repeated, or the characters would wake up and similar things would happen again and again. Each time, I knew they were going to fail, which sometimes made me feel like skipping through those scenes. However, as time went on, I found myself becoming more immersed in the story, as if I were one of the passengers or in their place. I began to feel their exhaustion and struggle, and I started seeing the drama from a completely different perspective.
Secondly, I want to talk about the reason that was revealed at the end and was behind all these events—the daughter’s experience of sexual harassment. I believe this issue should have been addressed more strongly and clearly, as it is a real problem that happens to many girls every day. In the drama, not everyone understood the seriousness of what happened. The mother of the girl who witnessed the incident blamed the victim for wearing short clothes and frightened her about the consequences of reporting the harasser. This fear caused the witness to remain silent, and if she had spoken up, it could have made a significant difference in what happened. Although this was not the only reason for everything that followed, it shows how silence or decisions driven by fear can lead to serious and tragic consequences. I believe the drama could have focused more on the issue of sexual harassment, even if it was not the main focus of the story.
As for the acting, it was truly excellent. The actors were impressive in portraying their characters, especially in how they presented repeated events from different perspectives or acted as different versions of themselves. Everyone involved performed their roles brilliantly.
The storyline was good, and even the small details were carefully highlighted and played an important role in the development of the plot.
In the end, I’m not sure what more to say, but I believe this drama is definitely worth watching at least once in your life.

One of the most confusing aspects for me was Uea’s intense hatred toward King at the beginning. We’re told that King is a womanizer, but the show doesn’t develop their previous tension enough for us to truly understand why Uea rejects him so strongly. Especially considering that after their first night together, King seems to fall completely in love. That sudden shift doesn’t feel entirely natural or organic.
I also found their dynamic somewhat exaggerated. Uea constantly keeps King in a position of pleading, almost begging for physical affection. I understand that Uea carries significant trauma, and that clearly influences his behavior, but the series doesn’t explore that aspect deeply enough. It’s mentioned and hinted at… but never given the emotional depth needed to fully justify his actions.
As for the performances, Net really stands out. He convincingly portrays King’s desire and vulnerability, making his character feel genuine and emotionally invested. On the other hand, James’ character feels much flatter; at times even cold or somewhat arrogant, which makes it harder to emotionally connect with Uea.
Overall, I think the drama had strong potential, especially considering the themes it touches on. However, the rushed pacing and lack of deeper development in certain conflicts make it more of an entertaining watch than a truly memorable one.

GREAT acting, faulty script
EDIT: I decided to watch it complete, after all. I am watching it for the lads, so still worth it. 7/10 rating is positive, and it is because of them (lots of issues with the script).___________________
I AM BAFFLED.
Some say this series is a masterpiece and others say they could not survive it pass its second episode, and there are lots of issues with the script (what happens makes no sense in nearly every way).
I am watching the first episode now, and it is an awkward production due to low budget, uneven sound accompaniment and some suboptimal direction choices. And one of the actors might be too old for his role, though he is playing well.
But maybe it somehow becomes incredible later on, will it? Or maybe people are just too mesmerised with the leading couple because they are really good actors (and they are, I know one of them from What The Duck series)?

Poor story and development
I'm going to write a review without being biased because my fav actors have acted in this series, the plot and acting is total shit, I honestly like the Avengers group acting better than jade and kamin's.if u just wanted a cringey romance story, why direct a thriller story, all this series has is cringey romance and stupid sulkiness, I mean police are allowed to have a personal life and dating life, but in this case the person in danger is literally jades brother but he couldn't care any lesser about it, even if his brother ends up dying all jade will care about is running behind kamin like his dog

My general thoughts:
It was so funnyIt was too long for what it was about but what it was about was sweet and fun.
It would have been perfect if they just focused on the first couple more completely and at most the second couple, but the third and fourth just felt like a waste of time. Whenever they were on screen, their dryly developed stories cut in the middle of the main couple's story, which we're actually here for, for way too long and had me dragging my feet through the episode. The episodes would be half as long and many times easier to get through if they just weren't given so much screen time for generally/basically nothing

Strong Start and then sinks into Swamp of Despair
The first third of this show (about 14 episodes) are pretty good. The characters are engaging, the plot moves and is not cliche. But after it sinks like a rock in water. The characters all wallow and repeat the same mistakes over and over and over and over. There are some sudden and unbelievable plot devices that seem forced to resolve problems only to move into another problem. Ultimately ending also seems forced and vague. In the end the show is just a hot mess of swampy despair. The only thing good is the acting, in all honesty. But the actors can't save a badly developed plot.Was this review helpful to you?

MESMERIZING
Death's Game is the best series I have watched It has every Genre known to Entertainment A Love story,Dark Comedy, Fashion,Beauty,Ugly, Revenge,Murder,Redemption,Realization of Life's Meaning & the Privilege it is to be Alive. The acting was Awesome. It's like every top Tier Actor is in this Drama, they each attacked their Roles like Prize Fighters giving no room for Defeat. There isn't enough descriptors to give I just have to say watch this Drama. If you do your take on Pathetic Life will Change This Drama brings you into each Character each one has a part of Human Kind's Nature in it. It is unyielding in the depiction of how the Circle of Life is Relentless each act is a beginning of a Domino Effect I Cryed with Seo In-Guk character, His acting in this Drama it must have been the best in his life I don't know how it could get any better I hope they all won many awards for this Remarkable Piece of Work The Story , the Direction, the Scenery It will remain with me for a long time I am a Surviver of Attempted Suicide So I know 1st hand the Tragedy it would have been but for the Grace of God. Poor story
“The Palace Gambit” is a senseless drama. It lacks spark, coherence, and emotional depth. Throughout the entire drama, I kept waiting for the love story to begin, but the female lead’s revenge plot never seemed to end. She remains focused on proving her sister’s innocence and changing the law for the lower class. I got fed up with the story.The actors gave good performances, but the storyline was disappointing.

You could clearly tell it was a low budget drama. The story idea was not bad i get what they wanted to convey. I really felt bad for the ghost but the drama was not that well executed and acting was pretty stiff from all actors. Everyone lacked chemistry and just recited their lines the whole drama. Never Let Me Go is not just a BL I watched, it is a BL that changed me
