Best show ever
i have watched a lot of K Dramas and this is the best one iv watched so far..The storyline had you gripped ..The acting is just amazing .. The plot is stunning .. the fight choreography was amazing.. The only thing I can say which is not good is that there should have been a lot more episodes… and the other thing I could say which I would say is not very good is that the episodes are not long enough the only 45 minutes each that should’ve been well over our a hour which have got the story more complete ….hopefully they can make another season for this because they can delve into more of the main character …Definitely 10/10 for meWas this review helpful to you?

Beautiful story overall
Watching this while being the same age as the protagonists makes you appreciate youth and the beauty of growing old. The story is in the end very simple but captures life’s beautiful moments very well. I liked and appreciated how the end was more of an open one and the mc’s found their happiness in different ways. The acting wad top notch considering these are the stars of today, and the OST was really good and memorable. Also the styling deserves an applause.
I really enjoyed this drama overall.

worth the time and the tears
I heard about this drama since its airing time (thanks to the famous ost by chanyeol and punch), so its been on my watchlist since then. I have been postponing it because I knew it was a good one and that I need to be in certain circumstances in order to see it, and Im glad i did.I started this in September 2025 on tv (yes mbc 4) I wanted to revive the tradition (the first kdrama Ive ever sen was on tv on the same channel) espiecially now that I graduated and I had no job so when I saw the teaser of it on tv I thought maybe this is the best time, I had the most fun sitting in front of tv 1 hour a day at a specific time every day while a looot going on my life at the time to the point i missed the last 3 eps (which are like 6 on tv) and had to finich em on december 22nd.
anyways as a story i was a little bit weird abt it as a muslim but i still enjoyed it and loved the interpretations of everything.
the love story was immaculate, the found family is exactly what i mean when i say i like a found family trope and episode 15 made me bawl my eyes out, sth only kdramas from 2015/2016 can do, i cried until I fell asleep and I had to finish the rest of the episodes the next day.
I would highly recommend this k drama 10/10 ❤️❤️

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT !!! LIKE ALWAYS WITH THIS SCRIPTWRITER WOMAN !
I'd been eagerly awaiting this for a year and a half, and I can say without hesitation: I wasn't disappointed at all. From the very beginning, the world resonated deeply with me, and the screenwriter—as those who've seen my video already know—is one of my favorites, especially for her previous moving dramas (Forbidden Flower, among others). Once again, she managed to transport me through a fully realized and intense romance, set against the backdrop of a world of motor racing. Needless to say, it gave me an irresistible urge to discover the novelization.
The cinematography in Thailand was simply exceptional, and not just for its scenery: several scenes and shot choices gave the drama a real distinctive character, reinforcing its power and emotional impact.
Esther Yu was incredible! While I was sometimes skeptical about her behavior in the first few episodes, I truly saw an evolution and maturity as the episodes progressed, especially in the second half. (It reminded me of the girl's character development in HIDDEN LOVE). She was enterprising, brilliant, and determined, and her acting was spot-on and moving (her tears got to me more than once!).
He Yu, one of my favorite actors for the past few years, despite masterpieces like Dashing Youth and others, it's really SPEED AND LOVE that has given him true international exposure! I'm so proud of him. His character was absolutely perfect! I could totally have written a male lead like that! Sentimental and rebellious at the same time, but definitely protective. A man with a capital M.
I loved the credibility with which he portrayed this reckless driver, before completely reversing the dynamic in the second half of the drama. We then discover a new man, sporting a more mature look, driven by real projects, and committed to a particularly convincing physical and mental rehabilitation. He deeply touched me with his looks, his gestures, his attentiveness… to the point of moving me far beyond what I could have imagined.
Between breathtaking shots and landscapes, an intense romance punctuated by numerous kissing scenes, actors delivering their lines with great emotional precision, and a truly compelling story—no pun intended—I can only call it a real gem, fully living up to my expectations.
I think the entire cast poured a tremendous amount of energy into their performances, and I particularly enjoyed seeing Mike Angelo again, who I found very comfortable despite his relatively limited screen time. Each actor clearly stepped outside their comfort zone to make this story both believable and addictive.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this drama, and I sincerely hope you, too, had a wonderful time watching it.
10/10 !

Bloody and Ruthless without Losing Moral Core
This is a drama that choose to tell about fallen emperors, about weak scholars trying to defeat an army, about a crippled general defending his nation, about a person full of revenge turning him into a terrifying character, yet conscience and mercy are still alive in his soul. For me, it is a commentary for the trend and tropes in Chinese historical dramas which are mostly stories about powerful emperors, beautiful prince and princess, and victorious heroes.Watching this drama reminds me of several older series. Comparing it to the famous Nirvana in Fire (2015), while sharing similar theme of revenge, The Vendetta of An (TVOA) has ruthlessness that is not found in the former show. It is more bloody and cunning. It is a battle in various domains, not only physical, but also psychological and political. It doesn't dwell too much on palace politics, which is refreshing for a historical drama.
And, talking about ruthlessness, it is comparable to Game of Throne, however with a strength that makes TVOA, an Asian show, more shining in my eyes: a profound moral value. Thus, every drip of blood and tears shed here has more weight. They are meaningful, not only in telling the narratives but also heartwrenchingly igniting viewers empathy and even compassionate feeling and other emotions. We watch it for the virtuous to win, for a light in the end of a long dark tunnel to keep shining, not for the thrill and sensation alone. For a drama to be able to cause such effects on viewers, for me, it is a success.
I believe a good drama can defend itself and needs not to rely itself on the popularity of a certain actor. For TVOA, the story itself is its grestest asset that would challenge futures Chinese drama. It is set a higher bar in several areas of drama making and storytelling. For characterization, we got a continuum of personality spanning from the wickest to the most innocents, they are so grey and multidimensional that even turns the villain into a hero in their story, and push the presumed hero to villainy. It is so good at playing with perspectives so that we got a very complete picture of the story and the message this drama trying to convey.
The richness of TVOS's settings is also apparent. The use of real environment with the farming field, mountain, forrest, river, and sea, the potrayals of commoners and their lives through the market, the everyday family life, add more realism to the world. When the story is telling about conflict and war, they also show the impacts on family and societal level, not only individual or personal. It speaks volume for "the luxury of normal life" where family could live together, children have their guardians around, individuals could have idle life while still thriving through their works, where people could enjoy meal without scheming for revenge!
I am so suprised on how well this drama gives voice to the commoner, the marginalized one in almost all historical dramas. They are not merely a background for the elites, cameos walking and running in the back to fill the space, but a collective character that also play some roles through their interaction with main and side characters, their responses to the ongoing situation, and to some extent, they also drive the plot in a subtle manner.
Watching this, I don't care about its lacking of romance or comedy. I don't care about rating and other quantitative measures. I don't pay heed to some harsh commentaries. It is just too phenomenal to be missed, for everything that it can offer to open my mind as an audience. Bravo to all the actors and production teams!

And in that, a girl's happiness is necessarily sacrificed because the happy ending is for the boys. Technically that's a spoiler, but the movie's feet are so firmly planted in the pro-gay BL messaging it's a given and the girl is just a prop.
Yay for the boys, it's lovely that way. But I'm left wondering what this does to girls and young women, always rooting for the boys and always being the ones to lose out. The prominent, crystal clear positive messaging for gay boys is such a contrast with the but of course barely worth mentioning negative signal for girls' place in this. Some are more equal than others.
It's strange to finish a movie like this feeling unsettled, and many here will scold me from the other side of the screen, but that's where I am with this. Yay for the boys. What effect does watching a lot of BL have on girls and young women, always coming in second if they're there at all?
Aside from that, it's sweet, well-made and very wholesome. For the boys.

I personally really like it!
I've watched this 2 times now, the first time was during airing. I really like this series, although, I'm kinda done with the 'reality switching after accident' genre. I really like how they made this creative, with Suriya being able to read minds. I also really like how Suriya's feelings for Apo developed.Personally, I like the actors, I'm a big fan of them and I really like their bl's, I really hope they'll become the main in more bl's!!One of the things I disliked about this Bl is that the story went from place to place. At first he woke up and he acted wayyy to respectful, then he figures which body he's in and tries to act as sassy as he did before and then that whole part just.. get's forgotten? And what happened in his other life? I wish we saw at least a bit about it and now just a small description...
THE SIDE COUPLE OMG, I loved them so muchhh, they gen were the reason why I liked this bl so much, I just wished they had sooo much more scene's but that's of course just my opinion!!
Overall, definitely a recommendation!!

Blank: An exploration of everything wrong with early Thai GL. Watch with caution, if at all.
When I first started watching Thai girl love stories, one of the thoughts I had was, “Why are they speed-running everything the West got wrong with queer fiction?” The short answer is Chao Planoy. There is no shortage of criticism for her as a writer and as a person, so I won’t rehash those general complaints. Each season is only six episodes, so I will discuss the series as a whole.Red Flags
Age gap – 16 years
Power imbalance
Secret Keeping
Kitchen sink - every possible horrible thing – the Planoy playbook
Green flags- None.
Blank, like GAP, holds an important place in Thai GL history. These were early stories that really showcased the financial viability of the genre, which is necessary for companies to continue investing in the genre. That said, it does not excuse the significant problems with this series, nor does it excuse the industry that saw the money but didn’t take the time to consider how they were portraying these characters and how that can affect viewers and the fandom.
Age gap romance has been a long-standing problem in sapphic fiction. I can overlook 5 years, maybe ten, as long as everything else in the relationship is healthy and the younger one is ethically and legally old enough to consent. Neung is 36, Aneung is 20, and that’s a 16-year age gap. At 50 and 66, this would be less of a problem, but at 20 and 36, there is no possibility of this being a healthy relationship. The difference in social experience creates a significant power imbalance in the relationship.
Making matters worse, if you missed the explicit declaration of Aneung’s age in Season 1, you could reasonably believe she is closer to 14 based on her behavior. I’ve seen people write this off as part of “cute culture,” which can make the characters and actresses of the GL world seem younger than they are, but I think that is a fragile argument in this case. The character appears to be infantilized to exaggerate the already disturbing age gap intentionally. These were choices made by the author, the screenwriter who adapted it, and the production staff. It’s just gross. I’ve had multiple conversations with friends about how icky the age gap is in this.
Continuing the power imbalance, we have Neung M.L. Sipakorn, who is literally royalty. Even though she is on the edges of the royal family, and Aneung, who is sufficiently well off that she attends a private school, but of a much lower social class than Neung. Taken as a whole, the power imbalance is fraught with problems.
Secret keeping in queer romances can be OK, but not this time. Keeping a relationship a secret because someone’s family is homophobic is reasonable and standard in genuine LGBTQ+ relationships. Keeping it a secret because the other family sees Neung as a step-mother figure and will assume she is taking advantage of Aneung is an admission that, while not technically pedophilia, the story is leaning really heavily into it.
Spoilers below.
Everything, and the kitchen sink.” This one is just tired and annoying, not actually disturbing. Part of the Planoy playbook is throwing every possible traumatic event at the leads. Blank is no exception. Looking at both seasons we have a disturbing age gap, an even larger maturity gap, a power imbalance, Neung nearly being responsible for the abortion of Aneung, Aneung’s mother being hung up on Neung, Neung once being engaged to Aneung’s father, who tries to get back with her, disaproving family on both sides, homophobic family, threats of forcing adult Aneung to go to college in the U.S. aganst her will, and then the car accident that puts Aneung in a coma for months so Neung can have a mini redemption arc. This is only 12 episodes when both seasons are included, and I probably missed at least one unnecessary hurdle thrown in their way.
All in all, this is one of the worst GLs I’ve watched. Sure, it has some cute scenes, but they just are not worth the mental damage of watching this mess of a show. For the folks who do like this show, I would ask, are you really comfortable with these things, or is it simply that it was early in Thai GLs, and there wasn’t much GL representation in Thai/Asian video series, combined with a bit of nostalgia and a rose-colored rearview mirror?
I'm annoyed the I was not allowed to rate any category at 0 stars. I could understand wanting to verify I didn't miss it, but I wouldn't rate this series at a 1.

delightful if unoriginal
what to say about this drama?delightful couple(s) handsome actors and with the virtue of Taiwanese gay dramas that it brings equal treatment with straight dramas to the physical side of relationships as well as other aspects including marriage and the actors play their parts quite well without inhibition I would say。
on the other side it failed somewhat as a drama。 the idea to set this in a funeral business background is original but、it does not make the actual development of the story and romance original or add anything to the story、 its intrusion in the last episode truly is macabre。
this is a drama supposedly of two couples but the secondary couple's story was really drowned out by the main couple and the resolution of the second couple story putting it kindly rather unconvincing。
for me the drama went on too long and was beginning to drag around episode 8 and the twist in the last two episodes again putting it kindly rather weak and adding little to the resolution。
so. for me、 even with its good points it does not pass the ”I can not wait to watch and must watch every day test”; so a generous 9.5 from me because of the equality factor🩷🌈

A Man Who Defies the World of BL Final

Chaotic & Humorous... If Only The Ending Was Different
I have loved how consistent this story has been for the last 4 seasons. Mob does not want to be in a BL pairing, and he does all he can to avoid it. It's straightforward — they tell you what you're getting, and they stick to that. As a BL reader, watching all the tropes I've read about for years come alive on screen was such fun. And Mob's way of avoiding all the tropes/cliches was often hilarious and at times, absurd. But that's who Mob is, a funny, weirdo. While I've enjoyed all four seasons, I'd have liked a different ending. The story says that he 'defies the world of BL'. He's been consistently doing that all along. I'd have liked an ending where the conclusion was that he actually managed to do it. Despite all the flags around him, some of which he had accidentally raised himself, he succeeded in staying 'unpaired' to the end. He finally won against the world of BL.
I feel like they used the author deciding his fate as a cop out. I felt that back in was it season 2 or 3 at the airport with Kikuchi, and I feel that now with the Hatano ending. For a character who was so smart and always thought things through — even though most of them were about how to escape all the romance — that ending with Hatano was lackluster.
How do you rationalize him avoiding him all this time, never showing any inclination to liking him, them having zero chemistry, then suddenly Hatano falls into his arms, and he agrees to wait for him for 3 years? Yeah, nah. You could argue that this is BL logic, and if it were any other character in the show, I'd have agreed, but not with Mob. That type of logic does not fit the type of character we know him to be.

Yes i know there is no huge plot to the story, but i still really enjoyed watching it because its just so loveley and cheesy.
The filming locations are really pretty and the movie overall gives off a nice and refreshing summer vibe.
I also don't think that the story is completly hollow, because there's still many things happening and going on - i don't remember it getting boring for me while watching .
I rated the music a 5.0 because i can't remember any of it
(don't be put off by the word cheesy - it's not that bad i promise)

Was one boy truly worth it? No girl power in this movie.
The whole plot is teens bullying each other and breaking all the horror rules possible, but somehow too many of them stay alive. I did enjoy how layered the movie was despite the simple plot. Setting on the isolated island for female juvenile offenders (which alone sounds tragic), the supernatural components and well developed lore with interesting visuals, well done kills and even pacing made the movie an enjoyable journey. Yes, there was not one character to truly root for, and more likely than not you will want to see them all dead by the end, but the dynamics, even if annoying, were keeping my attention. All that said, the movie is too long for such an unsatisfying ending. If I have to sit through over two hours of teens bullying each other, I want some cathartic conclusion, not whatever this was. It was for sure a more interesting ending, but it just left me annoyed. I think they either should have made it more simple, or even more complex with just one more twist as a cherry on top.
Baipor and Perth delivered great performances. Both Ing and Aim were annoying for different reasons, but they played off of each other's characteristics well. The way Ing was slowly breaking more and more, while Aim started to lose her control and confidence - a game in which there are no winners.
The production value was nice. I wish some scenes were better lit, but it was not bad enough where I could not see anything. The design for the supernatural was decent, but not scary. Some kills were better than others.
Overall, it is too long to be called a simple afternoon quick watch, but it is interesting enough to actually sit down and see. Nothing groundbreaking. Simple, but well executed.
