The one of the best morden drama of 2025. He yu and Yu shuxin done a great job .The storyline is very good. Thankyou all the crew and behind the scenes persons who created this masterpiece. The year is ending with good drama. Thankyou all the team of Speed and Love šŸ’•.
Speed and Love is a refreshing drama that blends passion, ambition, and romance in a way that feels both energetic and heartfelt. Set against the fast-paced world of competition and dreams, the story explores how love grows when two driven individuals cross paths while chasing their goals.
What stands out most is the chemistry between the leads. Their interactions feel natural, filled with quiet tension, warmth, and emotional depth that slowly pulls you in. The drama doesn’t rush the romance; instead, it allows feelings to develop through shared struggles, misunderstandings, and moments of support.
The visuals and pacing perfectly match the theme—dynamic when needed, yet soft during emotional scenes. The soundtrack complements the mood beautifully, enhancing both the intense and tender moments without overpowering them.
Beyond romance, Speed and Love also touches on self-growth, perseverance, and the cost of following one’s dreams. It reminds viewers that love isn’t just about grand gestures, but about standing beside someone when the road gets tough.
Overall, this drama is a great choice for anyone who enjoys slow-burn romance, strong character development, and an inspiring atmosphere. It’s engaging, emotional, and leaves a lasting impression without relying on unnecessary drama. I wish you all the best for the drama speed and love team. Thankyou for this masterpiece.ā¤ļøšŸ’•

I understand that everyone has their own preferences when it comes to the kind of series they watch, but I honestly don’t understand the amount of hate this one is getting. Yes, I agree it’s not a perfect 10/10, but it’s far from bad. The story, performances, and overall vibe still make it worth watching if you give it a fair chance.

A Comfy Retreat

Love and Revolution, the show Chosen Home is a comfortable feel good drama BL drama more borderline on Queer drama that portray a more realistic queer relationship in Japan.

This show will not be for everyone. A few things that might turn you off might be the eccentric characters, the lack of intimacy (no kiss scene), the disney-esque resolution to the story and the fast pacing.

However, this show to me has many other good qualities that makes it shine. My most favourite aspect is the way it talks and explores about being queer in Japan in a more realistic light. Such as the partner program a pseudo way to get married or the increasing lgbtq friendly areas in Japan. A particular moment I loved was the finale when the workshop son visits Hatano and Saku to thank them for existing and overcoming his internal homophobia. That scene reminded me of Monster (2023) a bit.

Overall, if you enjoy found family, slow burn stories then give it a shot

If i describe this film as food; bland porridge

This has been a pretty bad season. As long as Chinese vertical short drama has pretty nice show or a couple of decent ones, I'm happy. I was getting my high hope for Zhang Beixi and Bai Yan collaboration but unfortunately it looks beyond salvation and worst of all Zhang Beixi real voice was being dubbed, what a bad day.

The Plot is basically FL wants to divorce ML since his indifference attitude and his constrains of FL freedom. ML wants to keep her and tug-of-war are constantly happened in this drama. There is no character development between both of the leads and they just keeping playing cat and mouse. The kiss was hot but it lacks of chemistry and there is no hint of love between them.

I feel i am just eating bland porridge after watch this nothing impressed me from this drama.

Ming Lan Has Become One of My Favorite Heroines

Delightful! I adored Ming Lan from her difficult childhood through her tortured teens and into a blossoming adult. I'd hesitated starting the drama because 78 episodes is a commitment, but time flew faster with Ming Lan than with some 16 episode dramas.

The writers did a commendable job juggling a large cast; each character was distinct and had purpose. The acting was as good as the script.

Children who live with abuse, neglect, or bullying learn to observe their surroundings and the people around them closely. As a survival device, they become invisible, but they're always assessing danger and planning how best to extricate themselves. Ming Lan learned strategy at an early age, and she hid her intelligence behind a quiet, inoffensive smile.

It was pure pleasure to see her outthink and outmaneuver her siblings, parents, and other adults during her childhood. She willingly took abuse and blame and quietly accepted punishment. She seemingly had little desire to protect herself, but when it came to those she cared about being hurt, she'd assume that quiet smile and plot retribution in scary fashion.

The romantic scenes were relatable with teasing, laughter, and faux umbrage. The chemistry was sweet. The interactions between Ming Lan and her grandmother were warm and touching.

All in all, a wonderful slice of life/coming of age drama featuring intelligent, decent people fighting against adversity and evil people.

Sometimes all we really need is a simple story, told with care

Sometimes, you start a show almost without thinking, with no expectations at all, assuming they’ll be just another high school story to fill a quiet Sunday. And then, suddenly, you realize you’re far more emotionally invested than you meant to be. School Trip is exactly that kind of BL.

At first glance, its long title and simple premise don’t suggest anything groundbreaking: an awkward boy slowly finding his place within the most popular group in class during a school trip. What the series actually does, however, is soften this familiar setup and turn it into something unexpectedly warm and comforting, as if gently untangling emotional knots many of us have carried since our teenage years.

At the center of the story are Hioki, shy, polite, and slightly out of sync with his classmates, and Watarai, tall, admired, and seemingly confident from the outside. There are no big twists or dramatic revelations here. Instead, the narrative unfolds through shared silences, lingering glances, and small moments whose importance only becomes clear with time. This quiet simplicity is where the show finds its strength. By focusing almost entirely on this single relationship and avoiding unnecessary side romances, the story allows their connection to develop naturally, at its own pace.

One of the series’ most striking qualities is its emotional gentleness. School Trip moves against a genre that often equates drama with suffering, choosing tenderness instead. The conflicts exist, insecurity, jealousy, fear of rejection, but they’re handled through conversation rather than cruelty. Hioki reflects before reacting. Watarai feels deeply, sometimes crosses a line with his protectiveness, but learns to recognize his limits. The love portrayed here isn’t polished or idealized. It’s uncertain, awkward, and deeply human.

This balance is supported by performances that feel more mature than the premise might suggest. Kan Hideyoshi brings Watarai to life with a blend of visible confidence and quiet vulnerability, while Fujimoto Kodai portrays Hioki as gentle yet quietly steadfast. Much of what matters is communicated without words, in pauses, glances held a second too long, and the way the two share space. Their chemistry doesn’t rely on grand declarations. Often, a hesitant touch or restrained smile says more than enough.

The world surrounding the couple also deserves praise. Rather than falling into the usual tropes of toxic popularity, the friend group becomes a genuine source of warmth and support. These boys welcome Hioki without judgment and accept Watarai without turning his feelings into something to be scrutinized. In a genre often filled with shallow antagonists and casual cruelty, this kindness feels refreshing and deeply comforting.

That said, the series does have its limitations. Its predictability, while soothing, may disappoint viewers hoping for bolder storytelling or more layered conflicts. At times, the world feels slightly too idealized, with social reactions softened beyond what feels fully grounded in reality, especially in how outsiders involve themselves emotionally in the couple’s relationship.

There are also moments where the writing feels a bit too transparent. Some lines explain more than necessary, and a few situations seem designed mainly to push the leads closer together more quickly. Watarai’s jealousy and possessiveness, although acknowledged by the narrative, aren’t always explored as deeply as they could be. These issues don’t break the show’s charm, but they do reveal its preference for emotional safety over narrative risk.

And then there are the kisses, or rather, the careful journey toward them. Nothing feels rushed or included for effect. Each step is guided by a clear understanding of where Hioki and Watarai are emotionally. The series allows anticipation to build through shared looks, hesitant closeness, and unspoken understanding, until physical intimacy feels like a natural continuation of their bond.

By waiting until that bond is fully formed and mutually recognized, these moments gain a quiet weight. They feel tender rather than performative, intimate rather than decorative, standing out even within the expectations of a Japanese high school BL. This isn’t fanservice. It’s emotional payoff, grounded in trust, timing, and honesty, and because of that, it feels earned.

In the end, School Trip never aims to be grand, and that restraint is precisely what makes it work. It’s a story about belonging, about being seen without having to reshape yourself to fit in, and about how adolescence can be painful but also gently rewritten, even if only through fiction. Soft, sincere, and gently luminous, it reminds us that sometimes all we really need is a simple story, told with care.

Everything about this drama is just perfect...

This drama is absolutely one of the must watch drama....

For me it's one of the best drama of the year, one of the best drama of Ren Jialun , one of the best drama of republican era...

I just can't describe the quality of story, quality of script, quality of acting n everything else... Is just Perfect.....

It's not fan biased comment or review.... I swear that even anti fans would like it in their hearts... each and everything is upto expectations in this drama till yet and it's giving positive vibe for future as well...

The character He Xian is not like any hero...he is just a intelligent and loyal (towards everyone) character, who knows how to use his intelligency...and he is not fairytale invincible type of character who never falls in problems or always defeats his opponents in one go.... rather he falls in problems and still tries to make his way out of it...and that too with integrity not a bit of dishonesty as it's his families principles maintained for generations...

This drama is truly very unique from the past ones in cdrama industry...

How much I wish to make everyone know about its goodness.. it's perfect for everyone...as it teaches the "Humanity" as the main teaching...

Please share about this drama as much as possible...

Thank you if you considered my words

The kissiest "I marry my ex's father" story

I am a massive fan of Huang Bo. I thought this was an uncle romance drama but it turns out to be a drama with I marry my ex's father storyline. It had been awhile since Huang Bo played a green flag character so I was extremely delighted to see him in positive light. I enjoyed this drama immensely.

What I liked:
1. Romance - Huang Bo was very kissy in this drama. There were 2 kissing scenes within the first 15 minutes. Out of the many I marry my ex's father vertical dramas, this drama has the most kissing scenes. On a serious note, I liked that ML didn't allow FL to avoid conversation about their relationship. He asked FL to give him and their relationship a chance.
2. Hidden identity - ML found out thar his son was FL's ex early on in the drama. I also liked that ML's work identity was revealed in the first 30 minutes. He also came clean to FL soon after.
3. ML characterisation - He trusted FL from the start - he never doubted her kind and sincere demeanour. I also liked seeing his softer side when he was with FL.
4. FL characterisation - Likeable even though she was a damsel. At least she didn't buy her ex's lies. She also showed some growth once she got into serious relationship with ML.
5. Acting - Zhi Peng seemed like a new and young actress. For me, she gave a good performance as unworldly young woman in relationship with much older man. She also never shied away from intense kissing so well done to her. Huang Bo gave good performance too especially when his ML showed his softer side.
6. Supporting characters - I liked ML's assistant.

What I disliked:
1. Antagonists - We had dumb (Jiao Jiao) and dumber (Ming Hao). Their envy was next level. Ming Hao was childish & undeserving of his family's wealth.
2. ML's mother - I disliked her for being easily manipulated.
3. Bullying - FL was often bullied at workplace and at home. These scenes ought to be reduced or omited - I prefer the couple to get more screentime.

Favourite scene
ML's marriage proposal

Picked it for the rating, it wasn't worthy of.

I think I picked the worst possible drama to break my slump. The faces weren’t appealing, the acting felt forced, and the writing had zero logic. Plot holes popped up every few minutes. The comedy was compromised and rarely landed. Even the action scenes looked childish and poorly executed. Instead of pulling me back into dramas, this one only deepened the slump. Definitely not a binge-worthy or memorable watch.

Found nicely executed mystery drama

Once upon a time, He Congrui and Zhang Chuxuan wants to do their first collaboration and the writer quite trust both of actor script selection and turns out the intuition was completely right.

The plot is very consistent from first until the end and FL way of characterization is quite strong-willed with focused on her goal. The chemistry is on off since FL didn't want any romantic infatuation distract her goal. Even the romance it not their main theme, they can put dose of romance right without being overly done like usual type of drama. Glad ML character is not scumbag and not burdensome character and glad they didn't give any useless plot twist that unnecessary to drama.

I still rewatch since this drama is need little bit of brain but overall i enjoy this drama and collaboration.

Recommended to rewatch.

I call it mystery drama

It's more of a mystery rather than romance. Or both mystery and romance, but you hardly see the romantic scenes between the leads, which i regret the most from this drama. You'll see both leads suffer almost throughout the drama. So, watch it once is enough, bcoz actually it isn't really entertaining to watch. It's quite torturing, if i may conclude.

One thing i appreciate the most is the plot. The truth is revealed step by step (through flashbacks and confession from the characters) so it kept me seated, although we need to wait until the very last ep for the full truth, lol. Quite tiring, but also quite worth the wait. Unfortunately, the writer somehow only focused on the mystery and forget the romantic scenes/quality times between the leads, the thing that we need the most from romance drama.

Still, i give it 8/10 for the engaging-yet-torturing storyline.

Came for the GL, stayed for one of the GREATEST CINEMATOGRAPHIC WORK!!

clairebell the serie is something else , such a good production , excellent acting and amazing cast ; from the main couple's chemistry , to the 3D and their gang , even the villains , everybody did such a great job. strong script and plot that gets you hooked but what i liked the most is how realstic the serie is compared to other thai series that i watched. and a chef kiss for the last episode it kept me on my nerves but i had faith in thailand and i knew it wont be a doomed yuri (i would have died)

A breath of fresh air! My new comfort watch.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to love this as much as I did, but it’s just a pure, feel-good gem. If you’re tired of dramas that rely on annoying tropes and constant stress, this is exactly what you need.

Watarai is a total revelation. He’s the perfect alpha-male—confident without being domineering in all the wrong ways. He’s the definition of "expect the unexpected." You see those brief moments of hesitation where you’re left wondering what he's thinking, and then he pulls a total uno-reverse card and does something completely unexpected that just blows you away.

He doesn't beat about the bush or leave room for misconceptions; he’s open about his feelings regardless of who’s asking, but especially with Hioki. He is so secure in his feelings and conveys them so directly that there’s just zero room for doubt. It’s a quiet, down-to-earth confidence that is absolute without ever being egoistic or arrogant. Honestly, he’s a fantasy come to life—I think he needs a completely new category because "green forest" doesn't even cover it! I want a soulmate like that.

Hioki is the perfect counterpart. He might be shy, but he’s surprisingly assertive. I really appreciated that the writers gave him a proper backbone—he speaks his mind and holds his own in the relationship, rather than falling into that typical 'damsel' trope we see far too often in these shows. It’s such a refreshing change of pace.

The best part? No rubbish. No clingy females who can’t take a hint (well not too many scenes of these), no silly misunderstandings that last five episodes, and no unnecessary drama. It’s just proper, mature communication. I know some people say it might be a bit of a "fantasy" version of how people actually behave, but honestly, if real life followed this kind of logic and common sense, we’d all be much happier!

It’s short, sweet, and left me feeling all fuzzy inside. I’ll definitely be coming back to rewatch this one whenever I need a reality break. Also, a huge shout-out to the friend who let me know there are two more special episodes coming—absolute legend!

If you want something that’s just pure heart and zero headache, give this a watch.

Hierarchy was disappointing as a revenge series but is that what it was intended to be?

If you go into Hierarchy expecting a revenge plotline, then yes, you’ll be greatly disappointed. I was too, because that’s exactly what I thought it would be about. I've read all the bad reviews and I mostly agree. This series was tea served at room temperature but I'm a tea lover so I had to ignore that fact and form my.. rather optimistic opinion.

The story follows Kang Ha, who loses his brother in an accident, only to later find out that his brother was actually bullied in highschool and driven to his death. He enrolls in the same prestigious high school under the scholarship program to find out who killed him. I’d like to point out that Kang Ha wanted to find who his brother’s killer was, not exactly to take revenge. His goal had always been to uncover the truth and make sure no scholarship student would have to go through the same bullying and discrimination as his brother did.

Rich, spoiled brats are often portrayed as irredeemable, but I’d like to disagree here. These kids weren’t just rich spoiled brats, especially Jung Jae-I and Kim Ri-An. Both had redeemable qualities because, despite their wealth, they were bound by their parents’ leash. When this happens, people often turn out more empathetic rather than becoming arrogant scumbags. That’s why it was surprising, but believable, that Jae-I and Ri-An chose to accept punishment and confess which is something you don't immediately see in He-ra and Woo-jin.

The direction this story took feels fresh. It shows that revenge isn’t going to solve everything, no matter how badly you want tit-for-tat. Even though Ri-An apologizes to Kang Ha, Kang Ha refuses to forgive him and that, in itself, is the revenge. An apology will never bring his brother back, so he isn’t obligated to accept it.

Although, Kang Ha having a crush on Jae-I felt superficial and left a bad taste in my mouth. The story could have ā€œachievedā€ everything it did without forcing that aspect in.

But I absolutely loved Ri-An and Jae-I’s relationship but they literally could've done better.

While most of us wouldn’t call this a happy ending, I’d say it’s a nuanced one. Kang-Ha had a goal, and he achieved it so for him, it is a happy ending.

That said, the acting could've been better. The story dragged, it was cringe at times and I feel like even if what I said above was the true intentions of the makers, they did a horrible job at executing it.

Iconic Drama with no place for disappointment. Just perfect from head to toe. āœØļø

If you like something that has everything from car racing to a sizzling chemistry with a mist of sudden heartbreak, along with strong FL who knows what she wants paired up with our good boy gone bad ML. Then this one its for you. šŸ˜©šŸ¤ŒšŸ»āœØļø
You will never be disappointed watching them on screen with their slow burn tension. Intense staring with a sizzle of jealousy. Both leads get jelly jelly easily. There love is undeniable. She waited for him all the years. No one dared to generate spark on her heart the way our ML did. He was the only one manage to successfully race her heart. Similarly, she has own place inside his heart. She was already there. They are inseparable. Fate might be cruel to them but thats the test universe bound to take, in order to make them realize their real feelings. That they are incomplete without each other and separation is only breaking them apart mentally and physically.
It was a beautiful drama. It had everything I was looking for.

If this doesn't work with your taste, its totally fine to skip it. There is no compulsion on entertainment sources that you have to watch them.

That's it for review, its my first time giving a review to a drama, and pardon my English, its my third language, I bound to make mistakes when I don't use it that often. 🤧
And I don't write too much so I can only offer this much of my views. Thank you for reading it, and hope you have a nice drama watching journey. šŸ¤—šŸ¤—
