misleading and dangerous mindset for young girls

Jiang Mu is a bad example for young girls because it promotes unhealthy and unrealistic ideas about relationships. The drama centers the female lead’s worth around romance, while romanticizing emotional dependency, possessiveness, and unequal power dynamics as signs of love. Most concerning is the incest aspect, where romantic feelings develop between characters raised in a sibling like or familial relationship and are framed as “forbidden love” rather than clearly condemned. This blurs important moral and social boundaries and risks normalizing inappropriate behavior. Overall, the drama sends harmful messages about self worth, boundaries, and what a healthy relationship should look like.

I love this drama Only For this Cast.... They're really so amazing in on screen+ Off Screen! I have finished watching this drama about three to four times. I really want season 2 of it. The acting and their bonding here are both very beautiful...I'm obsessed with this drama. As a fan, I won't be sniping them but I also want to see them in real life. We all hope that "Business Proposal" season 2 will come!

Failed do remake of Face/Off

I watch this drama since i like Dai Fengyi and want to know how her transition from antagonist to become protagonist. The Plot is lowkey inspired by Face/Off (1997) with generic formula. They are too lazy to find same height actress since if they want to do face swap people would notice the height different.

The Supporting Artist are too stiff especially the SFL and lack of emotion while Shen Haonan didn't have any chemistry with all the Female character. No fluttering feeling and the kisses are too fake. The Chemistry is no found in every part of this drama.

Kind of lackluster drama.

Promising 1st act, followed by terrible 2nd and final act

Starring Kim Da Mi, The Great Flood is more than just a disaster movie, and you won't realize it unless you actually give it a try. The outcome, for me, was a big disappointment.

The opening 30 minutes is breathtaking, it is the movie's strongest point. It is a "breathlessly tense" survival thriller with impressive digital effects that capture the terrifying scale of a global tsunami.

The protoganist, An-na (Kim Da-mi), a top-tier Al researcher performance is also greatly appreciated. Her maternal role performance is praiseworthy. She carries the physical and emotional weight of the movie, making her desperate fight to save her son feel grounded and believable.

The biggest problem and the twist comes in the second half, where the movie pivots from a simple disaster flick into an "ambitious action-packed puzzle box". Drawing comparisons to films like Edge of Tomorrow and Interstellar, it explores a recursive, "time-looping" narrative. However, this tonal shift leads to a super complex plot with so many loopholes, that by the final act I already got tired of seeing it till the end, and yes it still disappoints.

My thought - The Great Flood is presented as a disaster movie, however the narrative moves deeper with high ambitions, and a very little payoff.

My Rating : 3.5/10

the chemistry is absolutely great!!!!!

the acting, the tension. I love it!!!❤️❤️❤️ sometimes I wonder if they r just acting. the storyline is great but the accident broke my heart 💔. 6 years!!! before they met!😭😭 im heartbroken. i really hope that it's a happy ending!!😭😭. I love their chemistry! the visuals. specially all the racing scenes. I hope jin Zhao can still continue to race after everything he's been through. I kinda miss the old, mysterious jin Zhao. but I'm really glad that he still lived a peaceful life after his accident. really hope they end up together. best modern drama of the year in my opinion. a MUST watch.

The Vendetta of Boredom

"The Vendetta of An" is a political revenge drama that squanders its intriguing premise through slow, plodding storytelling and a lack of narrative tension. Despite promising courtly intrigue, the plot unfolds at a tedious pace, burying key developments under excessive detail and repetitive scenes. This isn't a sophisticated slow burn, but a boring execution that fails to make its central vendetta feel urgent or compelling.

The drama ultimately feels tailored only for the domestic Chinese market, leaning heavily on familiar tropes without the sharp writing or universal emotional stakes needed for wider appeal. Its failure highlights a risk for the industry: without opening creative horizons and prioritizing tight, globally-resonant storytelling—as seen in many Korean dramas—Chinese productions may remain insular and artistically stagnant.

Verdict: A missed opportunity that confuses slowness with depth. It serves as a case study in how to drain all excitement from a promising premise.

Reborn & revenge: I marry your father instead of you

I stumbled upon this drama on subreddit CShortDramas. My gosh, the trailer caught my attention and good thing the reborn & revenge drama was enjoyable.

What I liked:
1. Revenge - I loved that her revenge plan included marrying her ex's father and getting involved in the company management.
2. FL characterisation - She was tactical, focused & smart. I loved her proposal to ML and her confidence.
3. Romance - Their intimate scene was hot. They were in a marriage of convenience but developed a romantic relationship soon after marriage. They were sweet to each other.
4. Acting - I had seen the actress who played FL in a drama with Zhen Zi Qi. I liked her acting here. The actor who played ML was hot & handsome. Damn! They had good chemistry.
5. Duration - Running time under 90 minutes. Well paced.

What I disliked:
1. Antagonist - ML's son was ungrateful brat. Cruel too. I can't believe he even planned to kill his father.
2. Romance - I wish there were kissing & flirting between FL & ML.

Favourite scene
When FL proposed to ML

How is the rating so high?

The story started off well. I was hooked on episode 1, but then by episode 4 it lost me. I got to episode 10 and was absolutely confused by what was going on. The second lead couple have more chemistry than the main couple. Its not because of how the characters were written (boring), maybe it was the director. Maybe the actors. I had a hard time believing they actually liked eachother. There's nothing anyone can say that could convince me this show deserves more than a 6 rating. The production value is good, music is good. The actors are good looking, but not good enough to overlook the actual acting.

*insert face-palming here*

Fort carried the show. It was quite fun to see him as a house husband from his role as playboy-rich kid-CEO in Love in the Air. I was surprised at how good he is at the emotional scenes as well. Big kudos to him.

Peat... well, as a tsundere black cat, he's pretty decent, but for the emotional scenes - Lord Jesus, no. The man cannot act in emotional scenes. Whenever it comes to scenes where he has to panic or worse, cry, everything goes straight to hell. He cannot do it. We saw it in Love in the Air, and it repeats itself here. I'm not one to support typecasting, but he needs to stick to the cold tsundere roles for now and enroll in classes to help with the more emotional scenes.

Side note - I'd like to see Fort in 2 other types of roles - As a mafia daddy (the man is hot when angry), and as the emotional, crybaby, golden retriever top. Not only does he do well in the emotional scenes as mentioned, but his smile is beautiful and would work perfectly in a golden retriever role.

The GL couple was a good addition, but they weren't consistent, especially with Mook. From the get-go, Vie was into her, but Mook wasn't presented as gay in the beginning - just as a bullied, confused, clueless, and overworked assistant. I think if they became an official GL couple, they'd do well with a better storyline. The girl who plays Vie is a good actress - the girl who plays Mook needs a different role for me to judge, but she's really cute. Loved how they dressed her.

Actually, everyone but Peat was dressed/styled really well. Whatever they were trying to do with Peat's styling didn't work, especially the tucked-in look at the beach. No. Just no

Sometimes, all you need is a short-ish rom-com drama with a solid but unsurprising story. "Love Tractor" is exactly that.

Neither the character dynamics (excitable puppy vs. cold cat / country mouse vs. city mouse) nor the backstory (controlling father, betrayal by lover, thwarted dreams) are in any way new. The setting is an appropriately romanticized village, complete with stereotypical overly friendly villagers and out-of-season fresh fruit and vegetables. Wounds heal quickly without scars; the surroundings don't change with the progressing in-universe time.

And yet, it works.

The story, tropey as it is, takes its time to develop Seon Yul's character from being closed-off and exhausted to a confident young man who has found his own way of life. Events around him fit neatly into the narrative, and everything resolves without becoming too cheesy.
Ye Chan's antics are the eye-catcher of the series (and another proof why you should hire actors who know what they are doing -- according to MDL, the actor Yoon Do Jin is a stage actor in SKorea), and the main aspect that elevates this rom-com above the average. Yoon Do Jin gives his character an endearing quality, child-like but not childish, with unexpected words of wisdom, delivered with perfect innocence. In contrast, Do Won ("Seon Yul") gives us a subtle performance of a jaded man that you need to look closer to see. Both of them balance each other quite nicely.

Technically, I find this to be a solid production; I am not a fan of the sung OST but overall the background music fit well with the rest. I wish they had used the countryside to more effect -- most of the time it was just there -- but we all know that in reality, country life looks nowhere near as idyllic as on screen.

Was it good?
It was a solid, if predictable, rom-com with well delivered performances.

Did I like it?
Yes, and I even have rewatched it a few times.

Who would I recommend it to?
To someone who is looking for a rom-com with comedy elements, with a relatively short runtime.

Opportunistic FL who felt guilty after duping ML. The drama moved me to tears!

I was preparing for a reddit post on Zhang Ruo Chen's dramas so I looked in her drama playlist on youtube and found this drama. I liked Zhang Yi Lun's acting so I decided to watch. Wow oh wow, I was so moved by the performance that I cried. I enjoyed this drama immensely.

What I liked:
1. Tone - Comedic start which I found refreshing. As drama progressed, the series became dramatic but overall I felt warm throughout the drama.
2. FL characterisation - OMG, she was smart & opportunistic but so likeable. She felt guilty and conflicted for duping ML and that's why I liked the character. There was growth.
3. ML characterisation - OMG, he figured out early. I liked that he was smart, kind & forgiving. I loved that he confronted FL's best friend for her selfish action.
4. Romance - So warm even when the relationship was fake. Their kisses were hot - I could sense desire, love & mutual attraction from both leads. I
5. Supporting characters - I really liked ML's assistant & the kids.
6. Retribution - OMG I loved how they thought ML's mother a lesson on humility.
7. Styling - Great styling. I loved the opening scene which had FL giving styling tips.

What I disliked:
1. Antagonists - Secretary was nosy, snobbish & condescending. I also disliked her for crossing the boss-employee line just because of her status. I also disliked ML's mother for her snobbery.
2. ML's action - I wish he had fired his secretary immediately after the interview fiasco.
3. FL's best friend - She was nice but an opportunist. She took advantage of FL and ML's kindness.

Favourite scene
When FL confessed her dupe to ML

7 just for the likable characters

Things I liked

1 The premise. I always love premises where someone has to fight to get on the top, especially if they fell from the top.

2 The FL. She isn't my favorite and I won't look for other dramas with her, but she was fun and I liked how she played the role. Her character was decent and she made me care for her. I wanted her to succeed. It's just that she wasn't someone I fell in love with. That said, she had some moments where I loved how she delivered her lines. She was funny.

3 The ML. He was good, but not great. I don't think he was good at the playboy part. He was bland and he didn't brought anything special to the series. To put it simply, anyone could pay his role and most as well, probably even better.

4 The mother. I liked her relationship with her daughter.

5 The 2 couple. They had some fun scenes and she was gorgeous. To be honest, I think these two would be better for the main couple. Better chemistry. All in all, nothing unpleasant, just nothing extraordinary either.

One of the best Chinese drama in 2025 - for me

It all started when I was just trying to find a drama to help me move on from another drama, so I didn't expect much. But I got so hooked. I'm glad I watched it when all the episodes had already come out. I loveeeee the chemistry between the leads and that it was more of a slow burn. Again, I haven't seen such good chemistry in a long time. It made you keep wondering when they will end up together, even though the feelings might already be there. I also really like the female character; as a general/soldier, they showed her to be disciplined as a soldier should be.
The story is not perfect, but it is still a drama I can rewatch over and over again.

Funny, Touching & An Interesting Look Into Relationships

While I genuinely enjoyed watching all the couples, I think I enjoyed the BL couple the most - and not just because gay romance is a guilty pleasure of mine. Their love story was such a perfect opposites-attract trope. From the brother having to deal with the terrible ex, to having to work for his new man, and all the things that happened in btwn.. they were so good. Didn't like that the new man ended up in jail, but, character development, I guess.

The couple with the sister was such a high-tension couple - so much can be sorted with just more communication. Glad they went to therapy.

The main couple - I do wish we had more time with them together. I guess our main girl did need to find herself, face herself n grow enough to accept the MLs love and the ML needed to grow up n stand on his own without daddy's credit card, but still... I wish this had been sorted earlier so they could have more screentime together.

As for the mum and dad... I'm not a fan of the dad for sure. I guess it's a nod as to how older couples work things but still, he was a terrible communicator who let pride rule him and almost lost his wife over that. I'm not saying the mum was perfect either, esp with her pressuring older daughter to get kids but she deserved better from her husband

IN LOVE, will always will.

I love everything about this drama—the frustration, the anger it stirred, the dark side of family relationships, and the happiness it gave me, only to take it away in the very next episode. I genuinely love it.

Ji Sung looks absolutely gorgeous, and the chemistry between the leads is incredible—intense and captivating. The storyline does feel a bit cut short at times, but I don’t mind since we got two episodes weekly. I’ve even started reading the manhwa because of this drama, so I’m more than satisfied. 10/10 !
