This movie left me astonished!
All I can say is that this was just a fantastic movie. I have watched hundreds of Asian dramas and BL"s but I have never written a review for a single one. This movie literally made me just now create an account on kisskh just so I can tell everyone just how amazing this movie really is.PLEASE READ IF PLANNING ON WATCHING:
Reading other people reviews was rather frustrating because of how they were rating the movie lower solely because of the fact it lacked a whole bunch of NC scenes. That is insane to me and saying things like "this movie isn't a real BL movie because they didn't focus on the romance aspect" is insane to me. The chemistry and romance was there, you felt all the emotions and could feel the yearning for each other. Yes, there were few kissing scenes, but the ones that they did have left a lasting impact and had purpose which made the impact of the kiss much more effective. The issue nowadays is people aren't looking for plot and story in relation to BL, they just want to see two guys all over each other, kissing and having sex. If that's the case go watch one of the many GMMTV shows where that's a good portion of the plot.
This was a beautifully produced movie with insanely good music and acting that is out of this world. And the male leads were the perfect mix of beautiful and handsome. If you are actually looking to see love blossom over a shared love for dance then this is 100% the movie for you. If you are looking for a movie where it's 70% sex and only 30% plot then I HIGHLY recommend for you to go find something else to watch.
I hope that people will get over their concerning need for sexually explicit content in BL dramas so they will be able to give this movie the rating to truly deserves which is a 10/10.
I will say that the ending did bother me a bit. Im glad it ended on a happy note but it felt as if that shouldn't have been the end and there's way more to their story that as a viewer I would love to see. So if they are planning on producing another movie then that was a great ending and if not then it could have been better. Still I would recommend this movie over and over again and will be rewatching it many times to come.

mesmerizing, need a sequel movie and/or a full series
Overall: kudos to everyone involved in this because, wow, just wow. Aired on Netflix https://www.netflix.com/watch/81759550Content Warnings: past PTSD, non/dub con kissing/touching, internalized homophobia
What I Liked
- tension, chemistry, kissing
- acting
- I can't even imagine how challenging the dance training was, they all looked great (not a pro, I had dance training)
- how supportive the women were (I'd love to see a future movie/series with the characters training and dancing m/m and f/f as well as m/f and m/f, it's my head cannon at least)
Room For Improvement
- started with the present then went to a one-year flashback
- the 2 guys that gave exposition dumps multiple times
- several scenes were too dark and more light was needed on faces
- the voice saying 10Dance at the beginning and end
- the ending was abrupt, definitely need a second movie or a series to flesh things out

Difficult to get through for such a short series
This is the live action version of a M rated PWP fan-fiction, but with a BDSM tag from somewhere maybe just in case someone thought that’s what BDSM looks like? The audio is a little odd for what it is I found and honestly I think the official synopsis I read had more of the plot of the story than the series had.
I wouldn’t mind seeing the actors in a series with a bit more plot though cos at some points they touched on a dynamic that could have been good to explore

All Mood. No Momentum.
I had such high hopes for this drama. I really enjoyed One Spring Night and Something in the Rain, but this one just didn’t compare for me. The leads had great chemistry at the beginning, but then the dynamic got strange. Even though there was only a five-year age gap, Hye-Jin often treated Jun-Ho like a child, which became frustrating.I did appreciate that they didn’t break up... largely because Jun-Ho fought so hard for the relationship. However, the pacing was a major issue. I usually enjoy laid-back dramas, but this felt excessively slow. There were far too many long shots of scenery or characters just thinking or waiting. Those moments can be effective, but not when they last several minutes and are repeated multiple times every episode.
The conflict also felt weak and poorly developed - especially the sudden hostility toward Hye-Jin, which seemed to come out of nowhere and never truly resolved. Many of the characters lacked clear motivation, making it hard to understand why they behaved the way they did. Overall, the drama had potential, but it fell short for me.

the tension was unbelievable
"did you feel like a princess?"oh my god. i seriously have no words. this movie was so incredibly well done. the sexual tension between the two of them - one that lingers all throughout the film, it's quite literally endless, they don't even have to be on-screen together because it's still there, burrowing itself within the story.
that train scene? fucking legendary. the camera movements, the colour and lighting. THEM. that whole scene was so beautiful and the way they both lost control and fell into the temptation and desire, the kisses back and forth along the train, the movements and their hands being connected together. MY JAW DROPPED?
the slow-burn in my personal opinion was also what fueled the film to its maximum, it was aided by the tension so well and you could just feel the yearning, almost through your veins istg. the way they looked at each other, that scene where sugiki was supposed to hold his hips and waist as he moved but he stared for one milli-second was golden.
i literally could not breathe when suzuki went "lick'em, eat'em and make'em come." THAT WAS SO CRAZY.
they were so sensual and so intimate and the technicality of the ballroom dance and latin american dance was just top tier. sugiki being the symbolism of a grim reaper and suzuki of an angel >>
in conclusion? THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST FILMS OF 2025 AND I NEED A PART 2.

Move to Heaven was a beautiful surprise for me. It was a complete change from my usual taste, but I’m honestly so glad I watched it. The concept of a trauma cleaning company was unique, and the title of the drama was deeply connected to its story and message. What stood out the most was Geu-ru’s character — the way his Asperger’s syndrome was portrayed with respect and sensitivity was truly impressive. Watching him slowly understand emotions, loss, and finally learn to let go felt very real and touching. The bond between the uncle and nephew grew naturally, without forcing too much drama, and the side characters added warmth to the story. Every episode carried emotions without feeling heavy or boring. This drama doesn’t rely on romance or action — it relies on human feelings, memories, and healing, and it does that perfectly. Didn’t like it. "Happy" ending but nah
I don't think Jiang would change even after Rui started dating him. The story lacked emotional depth they kinda just said he's a playboy and the reason is cz he has mental health issues. That's exactly how it was put out. Probably cz it was short? Also the BTS for last ep was in ep 3🙄🙄. The actors were good but i felt they did it for the sake of it. Overall disappointing cz i came here after watching edits on it which were funny n this was meh

Worth Watching but Nothing Spectacular
Decent modern, sci-fi action dram. But the time loop just became way to repetitive with each loop day repeating 5 times. Even with only 16 episodes I did skip through some. The Good:
- Only 16 episodes so it minimized filler scenes
- Bai Jing Ting (ML) crushed this role. He is vey well suited for modern action/cop roles. But he also is very good at adding vulnerability and humor to the tough guy role.
- The bond between the police team was genuine and believable with trust and humor.
The Bad:
- the romance between ML and FL was forced. Zero chemistry, with no background or reason for their romantic connection.
- the FL was miscast. She was not a good actor and her facial expressions were unnatural and forced. She was so boring.
- the constant switching between languages was unnecessary. I understand that this is a made up city that is meant to be diverse, but logically it didn't make sense when people were speaking & understanding each other perfectly in Mandarin or Cantonese for an entire conversation, then they would randomly insert English in there (the English accent was terrible and no needed).
- Maggie the support character - terrible casting. You can tell she's just a model with no acting skills. Her character felt so stiff and out of place compared to all the other supporting cast.

“The Best Thing” stands as the finest C-drama I have seen to date.
What truly sets this series apart is its exceptional character development. Every character feels intentional, layered, and deeply human. The chemistry and performances carry a lot of weight, but what really elevates the drama is its consistency. There’s no dip in quality, no filler episodes that test your patience.
The show is pure excellence, and not for a single moment does the story lose momentum. Every episode feels purposeful, every emotion earned.Simply put, it is the best C-drama I’ve watched to date refined, engaging, and unforgettable.

? Overview
"Heroes Next Door" is a refreshing and entertaining action-comedy that posits a thrilling 'what-if' scenario: What if your quiet, ordinary neighbors were actually highly trained, retired special forces operatives? The drama centers on a band of former special operations veterans living civilian lives in the cozy neighborhood of Changri-dong. When a series of mysterious and increasingly dangerous incidents—initially dismissed as simple accidents—threaten their families and community, these heroes step up. They don't fight for the nation or world peace, but for the safety of their block, proving that sometimes, the greatest duty is the one you have to your neighbors.
1. The greatest strength of the show is the dynamic between the main cast, particularly the unofficial reunion of actors Yoon Kye-sang (as Choi Kang, an ex-special forces agent turned insurance investigator) and Jin Seon-kyu (as Kwak Byeong-nam, the local youth association president). Their transition from initial friction to begrudging allies, and finally to a solid, hilarious team, is the heart of the show.
2. The drama expertly balances high-stakes action sequences with genuine, feel-good neighborhood comedy. Watching highly skilled operatives use their training to solve very "local" problems, often while juggling grocery bags or in their everyday clothes, provides great comedic relief without undercutting the tension.
3. The focus on protecting their own neighborhood makes the threat feel more personal and relatable than a typical global conspiracy. The supporting cast of ordinary neighbors also adds a warm, slice-of-life element to the thrilling plot.
4. Kim Ji-hyun shines as Jung Nam-yeon, a former Special Forces Unit instructor and current supermarket owner. Her no-nonsense attitude and combat skills are a highlight, ensuring the team is well-balanced.
"Heroes Next Door" is a highly enjoyable, fast-paced 10-episode series that delivers on its unique premise. It’s an easy and satisfying watch for those who enjoy action with a heavy dose of camaraderie and laughs. The fantastic chemistry of the ensemble cast and the fresh "local hero" concept elevate it beyond a standard action drama. If you're looking for a show that reminds you that heroes live among us—sometimes just disguised as a neighborhood mart owner or insurance salesman—you should definitely check this out.

Missed Potential
I thought the story itself was solid, but the casting really didn’t work for me.I found the female lead whiny and annoying, which made it hard to stay invested. As for the male lead, I’ve seen him in Love of Nirvana as well, and I have the same issue there: I just don’t find his romances believable. His acting feels very one-note—he’s constantly playing surprise that someone could like him. His emotional range seems stuck on “shocked,” and when his feelings change, there’s no buildup. One moment he doesn’t like the FL, and the next he suddenly does, without any visible emotional transition.
In contrast, I’m currently watching Liu Xue Yi, and the difference is striking. You can actually see him fall for the FL bit by bit—his expressions, body language, and emotional shifts make the romance feel earned and real. That gradual development is exactly what I felt was missing in Demon Hunters.
And then there’s the ending. Just… wow. The time travel conveniently resets everything, undoing all the emotional stakes. Having the ML follow the FL since childhood only to ultimately leave her made the conclusion feel pointless and unsatisfying. I wasn’t alone in feeling this way—other reviewers have said the same. For me, the ending completely undermined the journey and made the whole thing feel like a waste.

Il Jo and his love
You know a story is entertaining when you bypass all the flaws and still switch on, anticipating the enjoyment of what is to come. Yes, there were major flaws. Repetitive dialogue. A clueless, possessive dictator when all the clues were right before his eyes. How could he not know that Jeong In was threatening Il Jo? Why did he take so long to take action? Why did Il Jo allow himself to be a punching bag, when he could have come clean from the moment he knew Jeong Han loved him? Yes, the flaws were in the script and a bit of over the top petulant acting. Hey, that's Korea but they deliver.Il Jo stepped into Jeong Han's life and his heart. He held up the mirror, causing him to see his true self and showed him how to love. From the moment this started, I was curious to see how they would meander the course to be together. There were moments of rage, disdain, pity, passion and love. The spots of humor enlivened the mostly dark and sombre plot. Jeong Han, in his delirium, begging Il Jo to stay, when in fact it was Jae snapping him back to reality was good. At the end, through all the muddle, they found their way back to each other. For his miniature stature, Il Jo weilded most of the power in their relationship by his actions. The cafe owner proved to be a true friend. Although, he had other wishes for Il Jo, he backed his decision to return to Jeong Han. His happiness meant more.
Jeong and Yoon acted well together. Their break up scene in the bedroom was raw and phenomenal. Their happy moments - cute. Their physical interractions - intense. Admittedly, Lee Dong Joo shone in the role of the drug addicted psycho half brother and helped make the series that much better. Perfectly cast for he delivered with his depravity. The series length was perfect and also the last few scenes at the airport. Jeong Han needed to trust what he had with Il Jo and allow him to make his own choices. It ended on the right note.

They dropped the ball with this season
I'll start by saying that I loved seasons 1 & 2. Alice in Borderland is one of my favourite shows of all time. So my expectations were season 1 & 2 level, which it didn't meet.Positives first: amazing production quality, the games were creative and acting was great. So if you're purely into action with suspense, you'll definitely enjoy it. The premise of an extra Joker round where only people participate who played before is also really interesting and promising. So, I definitely think its own season is warranted.
Now to my criticism. The writing was not good. Usagi's reason for going back to Borderland is what exactly? To meet her father? Whom she knows isn't in Borderland? Makes absolutely zero sense. Her dynamic with Ryuji also makes no sense. Why are they so close? Why is he kind of obsessed or into her? There's no reason at all. But okay - Arisu decided to follow her to save her.
But it's fine, I mostly enjoyed the games about the show anyways. So I was disappointed when they let me down. They were creative - yes. And I liked that there was usually some "loophole" to save yourself. Very nice characteristic of a Joker game. What endlessly frustrated me was that there was always at least one person who ruins the plan ... just cause? Wouldn't they want to survive? And don't even let me get started with the zombie game. From the beginning of the game, I was thinking 'just make everyone a zombie, then nobody has to die', but smartiepants Arisu (who holds a zombie card the whole time) doesn't come up with this idea? I thought he wanted to save everyone? Hello? Where's the logic? I won't even go into the pure frustration that was the future game. In season 1&2, even when I didn't agree with a character's choice, I still thought 'fair enough'. But this time, the stupidity was frustrating. And these are all returning players? Please.
The ending just confused the hell out of me, so I won't even say anything about that. Overall, it was nice for the production and action, but definitely not on par with the past seasons. The idea of the Joker card is great, but not executed well.
