FL disguised as a man + suspicious ML + infatuated SFL = a fun watch!
I was in the mood for Zhao Mu Yan's dramas and while perusing her list of work on this website, I was intrigued by the synopsis and comments. I decided to watch it on a weeknight and my gosh I enjoyed the drama a lot.What I liked:
1. Acting - Zhao Mu Yan was excellent playing a woman disguising as a man. She nailed those comedic moments. She could pass as a pretty boy but her manicured nails were kinda obvious (albeit fabulous). Wang Jia Mao was great in his role as the intimidating Prime Minister. Chen Mu Ye was fantastic as the SFL too.
2. Dynamics - I loved watching the interactions between ML and disguised FL. I also enjoyed watching the Princess's infatuation with FL-incognito. These moments provided the comic relief.
3. FL characterisation - The reason why FL disguised herself as a man was explained and I thought it was plausible. She was smart and a quick thinker.
4. Romance - There was strong sexual tension between FL and ML. When they did get together, wow the tension was fueled by fire and heat. I also felt like FL and ML had a strong bond and understanding without spending too much time together. Their relationship was healthy.
5. Styling - Great outfits worn by FL, ML and SFL. The stylist was great at picking outfits that hid Zhao Mu Yan's femininity and gave more androgynous look. The makeup looked good too - not overly done on FL & SFL.
6. Supporting characters - I loved the Princess. She was adorable, confused but kind. I also liked ML's subordinate.
7. Duration - I loved that this drama is only 1 hour 46 minutes long.
What I disliked:
1. Antagonist - The antagonist arc wasn't fleshed out much. It felt forced because it was only given a spotlight in the last 20 minutes of the drama.

It's popular but still so underrated
This show is absolutely incredible! I know it's popular, but it should be bigger than it is. The acting, the storyline, the visuals are all amazing. This is such a unique concept, and it is done so well. I love all the different types of characters and seeing how they all play as well! Loved watching different relationships grow and fall apart throughout the show. These shows always make you think what you'd do if you were there and I love that so much!I love all the games in this season! The last one and tag were definitely my favorite in this season!
Just to talk about a couple of my favorite characters...Arisu is such a complex mc and I love him so much! I love Kento as an actor as well and he did amazing in this series!
Chishiya is the GOAT! KING! LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART! Kuina is just such a baddie! MY QUEEN LOVE HER!

Fun and then a little dark
I enjoyed this story for the most part. I liked the relationship the main two were building throughout it. Towards the end it started to lean more towards a darker romance, which I don't mind, but just felt like it came out of nowhere. Apparently, it gets darker in the web series but for the show the dark romance aspect seems to come out of nowhere. Good series overall though.Was this review helpful to you?
Very different and awesome
After a very longtime I like modern cdrama very much especially I really like to talk about ml heyu his acting is good and he is hot and handsome at same time frist time in my life after reading novel of a drama I felt no one can be perfect as heyu in Jin Zhao role and for Esther many people complian about her acting and voice but for me she is awesome more than okay I like her acting and her role and many little details I like about this drama is location I mean it's different I really like ml place it's different from typical cdrama good apartment well organized things maybe after seeing same things I like different one this time and also I like racing and fighting story of male lead because in other drama only male lead and female scene together is good but in this drama their solo story or scene made me hooked I'm excited for future episodes.Was this review helpful to you?

We LOVE PREGNANT MEN
I love that this show really dove into all the ABO stuff. I think if you're going to do an ABO show you have to really go for it, and this show definitely did.I think the four main characters were really interesting. I loved them all for different reasons and the actors killed it. I loved seeing Wenlang's growth throughout the series! I wish Hua Yong could've had some kind of character development, but he didn't and some people never change, so I guess it's okay.
My only complaint is the ending. I wish we got more from Gao Tu and Wenlang. I wish we got to see them have an actual conversation about everything. I wanted them to end up together but even if they didn't it would've been nice for them to get more screentime towards the end. It just felt unsatisfying. I also thought the time jump was abrupt and made it so certain things were skipped over that shouldn't have been. They're ending just felt like the creators didn't care about it anymore towards the end.
This show was missing baby bumps. Wanted to see them with actual baby bellies.
I really liked this series though! Definitely different and very interesting! Can't wait to see the actors in things in the future!

A super fresh racing drama.
This drama actually blowing my mind rn i started watching on a whim and now i’m counting down the days till new eps drop. the plot is so refreshing?? car racing + cute romance sounds like it might be messy but nope the racing stuff is so intense (i literally hold my breath during every race scene) and it actually ties into the love story so well. the FL is that perfect kind of bubbly where she’s not annoying at all she’s just so warm and makes the ML soften up in the sweetest ways. and don’t even get me started on their chemistry every little glance or accidental touch has me kicking my feet. the visuals are INSANE too like, even the casual scenes feel like they’re from a movie, and the way they shoot the cars going at full speed is chef’s kiss. all the actors (even the supporting cast!) feel so real, not like they’re just reading lines. honestly this is the kind of drama that makes me want to rewatch scenes right after they end it’s got everything i didn’t know i needed! best drama of 2025, highly recommended.Was this review helpful to you?
Incredible story telling but you can get easily confused!
This show was outstanding! I loved every second of it! Everything was very thought out from the very beginning, and you can tell the creators put a lot of thought behind everything. I loved the mystery of it all!! I definitely recommend taking notes unless you have an excellent memory because there is a lot to keep track of. I had a whole page of notes going by the time this show finished lol, but it helped a lot, so I didn't miss anything. The acting in the series was incredible as well! This could just be a movie
The story and the caracters are nice but the editing put the same scenes over and over again is unbearable, the history could be waaaaay shorter, most episodes feels like a waste of time, but the story is good if was a movie without all the unnecessary repeats could be a excelente movie, I would recommend watching but unlike me you need to watch skipping things so you can appreciate the drama without wasting your time.Was this review helpful to you?
Great for someone new to the BL world
A cute simple story. I loved the chemistry between the two boys! It does romanticize bullying a little bit though, which is not usually the best. There are some great lessons in there as well. I think this is a good one to watch if you're new to BL's, especially Korean BL's because of the pacing and the way the story plays out. It's a Korean BL so don't expecting anything crazy when it comes to the physical stuff.Was this review helpful to you?
The mc will drive you nuts
The story was cute! Som-O really annoyed me for most of the series to be honest, but I did like the relationship between her and Chadjen. Loved the friendship between the main crew. Cute series overall but you will probably be annoyed multiple times. I know some people had a problem with Dew's acting but I didn't mind it at all.Was this review helpful to you?
Weird concept, weirder show
I kind of hated this drama to be honest. I know it was a weird concept to begin with, but it was somehow weirder than you'd think. I love both the main actors, but this show was not it. The best thing and only saving grace about the show were the kissing scenes, those were amazing, other than that the show was quite bad.Was this review helpful to you?
Disappointing ending
I really liked the story up until the ending. I feel like they had some potential to do some really cool stuff with the ending and they just didn't. The ending just disappointed me. Fiery chemistry, steamy and sweet scenes are the best things about this drama
I was in the mood for Zhao Mu Yan's dramas. I really enjoyed the historical drama starring her and Wang Jia Mao so I got curious about this collab. I must say I enjoyed this drama too - wow, their chemistry really worked wonders.What I liked:
1. Romance - Plenty of steamy and heartfelt kisses as well as sweet and tender moments. The body measurement scene was sexy and full of tension. It's heartwarming that both protected each other from being harmed. I could sense love coming from both sides.
2. Acting - Zhao Mu Yan played dual roles with excellence. I was smitten by Wang Jia Mao's performance - he was dashing, sexy and endearing while playing this role. Fiery chemistry between Zhao Mu Yan and Wang Jia Mao.
3. Styling - Fabulous outfits selected for ZMY. The blonde wig suited her so much - she was like a goddess not a cosplayer. Wang Jia Mao looked hot in the outfits selected for him too.
4. Reborn - Good storytelling. I liked that FL profited from being reborn with knowledge from past life.
5. FL characterisation - I really liked her tenacity. She was smart and a quick thinker too.
6. ML characterisation - He was a sweet and smart guy. I liked how he played along with FL's charade after knowing her secret.
What I disliked:
1. Antagonists - Masked female assailant was crazy for wanting to kill the main character. I also disliked FL's father and sisters. There was also a small-time baddie character.
2. Screentime - There was too much time given to various baddies that I was at times distracted by my phone (I watched this drama on my tablet).

Second Lead Syndrome, Enemy-to-Lovers, and a Story That Soars
Love in the Clouds was a surprisingly refreshing watch. Even though it centers around fairies and immortals—a theme we’ve seen many times before—the storyline felt fresh and engaging throughout. One of the highlights was how well the enemy-to-lovers trope was handled; it developed naturally and added depth to both the romance and the emotional tension. Easily a 10/10 for me.The cast was very well chosen. Both the male lead and female lead delivered fantastic performances, with strong chemistry and emotional depth that made their journey together believable and compelling.
A special mention goes to the princess. Her character was incredibly emotional—at times she was mostly crying. Honestly, she deserves an award for that.
I also have to admit I suffered from a serious case of second male lead syndrome. His character was complex, layered, and deeply memorable. While his journey takes an unexpected turn, it only adds to the emotional impact of the story rather than taking away from it.
Overall, Love in the Clouds is a beautifully cast fantasy romance with strong performances, a well-executed enemy-to-lovers arc, and an emotional storyline that stands out despite familiar elements. Definitely worth watching.

Don't underestimate this pairing!
This series was an unexpected win! I love this couple from their first drama - 'monster next door' where they were cute and timid together which was lovely. There is also that here but they ramp it up as their confidence as actors has grown. Its a lovely series with an engaging plot. I just expected something unserious and cute but got something very entertaining with some unexpected spice added in :D Their kisses are lovely and natural as well and it is very heartwarming.Was this review helpful to you?
