I remember at one point MingYi said her master has researched the Bo clan for years. And Hanfeng wants to get his hands on the Golden Millet Dream. But since he was failing so,MingYi's master poisoned her and sent her by Ji Bozai's side to seek the Golden Millet dream for him.Once she get her hands on it,he would get rid of her.
I don’t know if it’s my wild imagination, but the dramas I have seen till date with this type of complex stories often take such unexpected turn.Dear novel readers,if you think I am wrong,do correct me and give a bit hint🙂🫰

Unhinged Shin Hye Sun charms in tepid rebirth tale
Whether you believe in reincarnation or not, See You in My 19th Life will make you realize you give major creep vibes if you approach and ask a stranger to date you on the spot 😹Ban Ji Eum (Shin Hye Sun) lives through countless reincarnation through the years. However, her short-lived 18th life makes her think she has an unfinished business that she went through great lengths in her 19th life just to reconnect with the people she met from her previous life.
Hye Sun is such a delight to watch especially the way she brings multiple characters to life. She effectively balances brazenness and craziness. It makes the viewers think she’s actually romantic for trying to reunite with her one true love from her previous life, even if she love bombs him. There's no denying in Hye Sun's acting prowess. She often takes on unique and interesting characters that could easily stand out and be memorable. However, I wanted more depth and specifics about her past lives, a mere 10-second flashback and reminiscing won’t do. I’m genuinely curious how she handles her accumulated memories and emotional attachments, especially her inner drive to live through every life.
Ahn Bo Hyun plays Moon Seo Ha, Hye Sun’s 18th life LOML. Aside from his impressive talent to stay at the bottom of a swimming pool, Bo Hyun’s character is painfully plain and boring, not to mention his stoic acting and inexpressive face. The hardest thing when getting paired with Hye Sun is the stark contrast in performance is evident when you’re not able to keep up with her. Hye Sun masterfully conveys her emotion and authenticity in every muscle of her face. Bo Hyun overdoes the brooding character and ends up delivering dull performance.
The story is heartwarming, but it fails to pull some heartstrings and be more memorable. The leads here are magnetic and pull you right into watching even if the plot seems outlandish. The mystery behind Hye Sun’s past and current lives will inevitably make you glued to the screen as it is an intriguing plot device. However, the execution and revelation of answers are poorly written. The shocking pieces of truth didn’t stir up my emotions that much. This kdrama offers a tepid heartwarming story about reincarnation. It is pleasant enough, but never quite moving or memorable.
Overall, See You in My 19th life is funny and romantic or crazy and obsessive depending on how you view it. It’s a fun and light watch if you will brush off the fact that a hundred-year-old lady falls in love with an 8-year old boy and tries so hard to reconnect and rekindle her love with him haha. In the end, all the beloved supernatural romance always comes across as creepy and give off stalker vibes but we all chose to turn a blind eye to it and chose to have a good time instead.

Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy
The drama is light with lots of comedy, and although there are many unrealistic things, it's a fantasy drama so there's no need to overthink it. Every episode is entertaining and makes you want to keep watching. The visuals of both the actor and actress are amazing, and this is Suzy's best partner so far.

When the feeling fades
Love’s Ambition begins with the promise of an interesting second-chance romance but quickly loses its footing in a sea of clichés. What could have been a layered story about identity and longing ends up trapped in the familiar rhythm of modern Chinese melodramas. The first episodes are genuinely engaging: the romance between a powerful, calculating businessman and a woman desperate for love feels charged and unpredictable. Her lies, inventing a family, hiring actors to play her parents, hiding the truth from her husband, make her both flawed and fascinating. Her emotional wounds are understandable, even sympathetic. Yet as the story unfolds, the writing stretches her character beyond credibility; deceit turns theatrical, and the drama drifts away from the sincerity that once gave it heart.
When she finally realises that her life is built on sand and chooses to walk away, the drama briefly regains strength. Unfortunately, this redemption is short-lived. Around the twentieth episode, the tone shifts into forced comedy and unnecessary subplots, dragging out what could have ended while it still had something to show. By the final stretch, the show feels tired and repetitive, the sort of drama you half-watch while pressing the fast-forward button.
Zhao Lusi delivers a committed performance, elevating material that often lets her down. She captures both the desperation and quiet strength of her character with admirable precision. Her co-star is competent but lacks the magnetic presence the role requires, perhaps a matter of miscasting more than talent.
Despite flashes of emotional truth and solid production values, the drama ultimately falls short of its name. In the end, I wasn’t moved, a reminder that being watchable isn’t the same as being memorable.

There are two important parts of the novel that weren’t shown: from the moment Shaoyu was admitted to the hospital until the birth.
Wulang actually believed that Gao Tu planned for 10 years just for the pregnancy and asked him for money? Why? What was going through his mind? And the video that hwa yong was watching—what was the meaning of that? Also, Guo tu never defended himself. His personality is always overwhelmed, never happy. Always fainted, depressed, suffering, because of pheromones or Wulang’s bad treatment.
And the ending? A quick meeting in an amusement park? No dialogue? Just a five-second scene? Why? I was waiting for this moment the whole series! The series was great, but they ruined it in the end.If I were the writer or director, I would have divided those parts of the novel and placed them appropriately, two episodes before the end, leaving space to heal the relationship between Wulang and Gao Tu. There was no need to rush. The story deserves 20 or 24 episodes, not 16. People loved the series and would have accepted longer episodes.
The director has the power and resources for another episode
Honestly, today they really upset me… 😢😡Yes, they could have made a much better and more beautiful ending than what they gave us. Even if they release special episodes, it won’t make up for it, because they skipped many important stages and cut a lot of the novel’s ending scenes. The series turned into a mess with no clear conclusion.
If there’s a second season without removing the last episode, then it’s pointless in my opinion — the last one was way too messy and completely unorganized.

THE BEST ESPIONAGE DRAMA OF 2025............Periodt.
The 35 Episodes wrapped and the finale comes in hot, part victory: part knife to the heart. It is witty when it needs to be, brutal when it counts and lands its theme with a clean, old-school flourish.Since the day I started this drama, it had me hooked from the get go. With each episode, it kept me on my toes for all the good reasons. The relationship between the leads is top-tier. Each one of them present for the other. Kudos to the actors for their superb and realistic acting that keeps you engaged. Kudos to the writer for such high quality screenwriting. Smartly paced, surprisingly funny when it calls for and devastating on cue.
I wish more people would discover this masterpiece cause it is so underrated. To the future viewers, don't hesitate to watch this. You will absolutely fall in love.
Classy finale, big feelings, no wasted curtain call.

it started good then it went downhill
*huge spoilers: only read if you are okay with that*im sorry but what was that ending? i hate it when they shock me in the last mins with something like this, that was kind of abrupt and cruel, like let us make the most drastic ending we can think of, why?
coudnt they simply separate and live their own lives ? as if cheating nonstop wasnt enough already to annoy me, lets kill one of them? maybe change it to a scene of the ml seeking therapy isnt that better?
the only good thing is that the mls had chemistry and also the start of the show wasnt bad and was kind of entertaining in a sense that i didnt see filler scenes nor i felt bored when i was watching, my rating could have been much lower if it wasnt for that

All The Senses and More
A masterpiece . That is all. The story, the acting, the heartbreak, the pining, the pain all and more, full on the brim of the cup and tears that followed. I am a jumbled up emotional fool right now. This is not a BL, it is more than that. It is a queer story, it feels an art-house production, a rare phenomenon in the sea of mid shows.
I will come back to this, later. Because sometimes words can't do enough justice to some things.

And please make more Omegaverse dramas in the future.
💞 My Feelings About the Drama
I absolutely love the main couple (Hua Yong & Sheng Shaoyou) — they were breathtaking together and gave us such strong chemistry and emotion.
But my favorite couple will always be Gao Tu (Omega) and Shen Wenlang (Alpha).
Lovely Gao Tualways catches my heart and heals me with his pure and warm smile. And Shen— with his calm strength, gentle nature, and deep love — matches him perfectly. They are the true Alpha and Omega couple I always dreamed of seeing in a live-action drama.
Every moment between them felt so precious, magical, and emotional. Their chemistry was pure perfection — every glance, every smile, every hug made my heart melt. 💖
😭 My Heartbreak.
But I also feel very sad… because Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang had so little screen time together.
Their story touched my heart so much, but it ended too soon. I wanted to see more of them — more of their moments, more of their love, more of their happiness.
The ending completely broke me. 💔
I never expected it to end with just one hug for my favorite couple. That single hug was beautiful, but it hurt so deeply. I cried so hard. It felt like my heart shattered into pieces. 😭💔....
🌈 My Wish and Plea.
Dear NJ Sisters directors,
Please, please give us ABO Desire Season 2 ! 🙏
I’m begging you from the bottom of my heart — please give us more of Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang’s untold story. Show us their love, their baby Lele, and their life together. They deserve a full, proper, happy ending.
The main couple had a beautiful ending, and I’m so happy for them, but please… Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang also deserve the same happiness. Their story deserves to be completed. I'm really disappointed with the ending of my favourite GAO and SHEN they didn't had a chance to speak. The ending hurts so bad. I was hoping for a good ending but I didn't get it 😭 💔. Please make Season 2 and
Please give them their perfect ending. ❤️🥹
💐 My Endless Gratitude
To Huang Xing, Qiu Ding Jie, Li Pei En, and Jiang Heng— thank you for your amazing performances. You brought your characters to life so beautifully and made us believe in this world.
Thank you again to the NJ Sisters, the production team, and every staff member who worked behind the scenes to make this dream come true.
This drama is not just a show — it’s a milestone, a dream fulfilled, and a treasurethat will stay in my heart forever.💖
🌟 Final Words
I am so deeply invested in ABO Desire: The Series, and I will always support it with all my heart.
To all the cast — you are my precious, perfect, talented boys. I’m so proud of you and I love you all endlessly.
Please keep smiling, stay healthy, stay safe, and always know that your fans love you deeply. 💞
Thank you for creating this beautiful Omegaverse masterpiece that I will cherish for a lifetime.
May the Triple Gems bless you all with happiness, love, and success forever.🙏✨.

Absurd whilst emotional.
The contrast of the deeply emotional story and the ridiculous character makes it a very ennoble watch for me. No Mu-Jin feels like someone I would know it real life. His motivations for doing the things he does make sense, as well as his reactions to the paranormal situations.I like the chemistry between the actors, they're perfectly cast, though sometimes I'm frustrated with Gyeon-U not standing up for himself.
Overall, I like the sorry and characters, but the pacing was a bit rushed.

Exquisite
Despite its flaws, this is one of my top five C-dramas. A story of finding yourself in the midst of heartbreak. It centers on a young woman who experienced deep heartbreak and went on a long term vacation at a sleepy town in rural China.Plot: Slow paced in every sense of the word. This drama is character-driven and the romance is one of the most slow-burn you'll ever see. So this drama might not be everyone's cup of tea. But joining the FL in her path to healing and bonding with her newfound friends makes it all worth it.
Cast: Known in the West as the actress who played Mulan, Crystal showcases her superb acting skills in this drama. Her soft-voice and gentle demeanor matches this drama's atmosphere to a T. She's so talented. Fans will also recognize the ML as the protagonist in Go Go Squid. Xian is also a perfect fit since he doesn't have top model looks, making him a good fit as a likeable everyman who is devoted to his small town and fights for his ideals while trying to woo the FL in relatable ways.
The support cast have backstories that are for the most part endearing and engaging, but I could have done without the guitarist You Yu Hu and the ML's colleague, Xiao. A divorced single mom, Xiao is short fused and no-nonsense, so it was hard to understand why this professional woman was once married to a guy who is so mellow, introverted and simple-minded. I know opposite attracts but without any backstory the contrast between the two is jarring. She also shuns another potential suitor but there's little explanation behind her choices, making her character too one-dimensional.
However, my biggest peeve goes to the lazy and aimless guitarist Hu, a kind of a starving-artist stereotype who was the butt of all jokes. A character for comedic relief is understandable, but the guy was the target of so many put-downs that, as a male viewer, it got very annoying after a while. As icing on the cake, he had to be "rescued" in a scene by an older woman. In short, saying he was a wimp is a big understatement. They laid it down too thick with this character, so I skipped most of his story arc.
Final Thoughts: There is another concern about the script that few people talk about, but it needs to be said. The leads were both in their 30s. I believe the FL was already 30 when she met the ML and the drama makes it very clear that she is focused on building her career in the upcoming years. Similar to You Are My Glory, you get the sense that if the couple starts a family, it will be well into their mid-30s, at the onset of a geriatric pregnancy, and the challenges that it entails. No drama I've seen, whether in the East or the West, shows couples even remotely talking about this matter. It would serve the impressionable young adults who watch these dramas to see this important topic at least mentioned when couples plan for the future and decide whether to bear children or not.
All that aside, Meet Yourself is so highly rewatchable since it deftly weaves together wise teachings with inspirational stories about the power of friendship and community as we find our meaning, healing and thirsting for life. You'll fall in love with the sweet grandma, the chatty townswomen, and the charming backdrop and slow pace of life in rural China. I hope to see more dramas that explore more regions outside the big cities and shows more of the vibrant and diverse landscape of East Asian culture.

Some sad endings can be happy.
This is a traditional love story similar to Moon Embracing the Sun, which means that the gender dynamic might be a turn off for some. It doesn’t try to add a modern slant like Mr. Queen or or anything like that and the power imbalance between the leads is even greater here because the female lead is a lowly court maid, while the male lead is the crown prince. However, it does a good job in showing how someone in such a menial position tries to find agency. It doesn’t shy away from showing the restraints that women (or even men like the crown prince) had to face during those times; it also shows the interesting ways they tried to survive and maneuver their way through this setting.
The female lead, Deok Im, tries to protect those she loves (the male lead mostly) in many creative, resourceful ways, is able to speak up for herself even if her life hangs in the balance and also tries to help and rescue others in spite of not having any fighting abilities or a high status.
Through the male lead, we see how being a crown prince doesn’t matter when there’s a king around and you are in constant peril until you actually become king. If one of the themes of the drama is Deok Im’s desire for freedom, the other is Prince Yi San’s high capacity for endurance. He goes through a lot before he becoming king; slurs against his background (being the son of a prince that was put to death), attempts at dethronement and even grand scale assassination. He manages to survive with the help of allies (number one being the female lead, but who doesn’t need allies when it comes to palace politics?) and becomes, as Deok Im puts it, a ’sage king.’ His capacity for endurance is a trait which also extends to his love for her. He loves Deok Im persistently and unconditionally, not wishing for anything in return. He is also expressive about it, even if she isn’t, which hurts his pride as both a man and a king, but he still loves her anyway and isn't ashamed about it. Deok Im loves him in return and you can see it in her actions, but hers is a more painful, restrained type of love and something she fears. As she puts it, “she can be entirely his, but he can never be hers.”
The good thing is that she is never forced to be with him and makes an active choice to, even if it causes her unhappiness in the end. Another theme of the story is about choices and how we stand by them even if there are consequences.
Both actor and actress delivered here. I have to give it to the actor playing Yi San though; while I can see other actresses playing Deok Im well, I feel like Lee Jun Ho was born to play Yi San. He did a great job in shifting from vulnerable to powerful, from boyish/playful to kingly and authoritative. I think his performance reminds me a lot of Kim So Yeon’s from Moon Embracing the Sun. He is also good at emoting, playing with his voice and saying a lot with just his eyes.
The Red Sleeve had a very good supporting cast. There was not one character who did not act their part. The actor playing the old king, his young queen, the prince’s bodyguard, Deok I’m court maid friends…all did very well with what they were given.
I particularly hated Lady Jo, but she made an excellent villainess. She took something (the mistreatment of court maids and how they should always fight back against a system that is unfair to them- which is very much valid) and twisted it into something bad for personal, selfish reasons. She also managed to brainwash a whole school of impressionable young women. Now that I think about it, she was actually sympathetic. She couldn’t take how the king abandoned her when she supported him most and was a good example of how pain and resentment could harden into unreasonable hatred.
If there’s anything that I didn’t like in this drama it’s that I felt a bit cynical about Deok Im’s loss of freedom. It’s not that the theme isn’t efficiently explored, its that- given how resourceful she was, I felt that even as a noble consort, she would still have found some way to do what she liked. It wouldn’t be a perfect situation and there would be some freedoms she would have to give up, but given what I saw of her, I couldn’t help but feel that this type of girl would still be able to rise above the situation, somehow.
I also normally don’t like sad endings, but this was an exception because it wasn’t an ambiguous, scratch-your-head wallbanger, but one that was sad, touching and gave closure. Some interpret the last scene with Deok Im and San as a dream, but I saw it as something that actually happened.
Yi San’s capacity for endurance came into play again after Deok Im died. As king, he couldn’t just do what he wanted, which was to grieve her loss, so, he had to make this supreme sacrifice and ‘forget her’ so he could function as a king and serve his country. It would be easier if actually succeeded and stopped loving her…but he didn't. He just bottled it up inside for a long time. When he finally succeeded, he was able to put himself first and do what he liked, which was to be with her. The sadness and happiness of that ending made perfect sense.

I really want to love this series but I just can’t ?
I had really high expectations for Only You because I love Lingorm and tsou, it’s one of the first GL series I ever watched. Unfortunately, Only You just doesn’t hit the same for me. Don’t get me wrong, I still love Lingorm, but the storyline feels ridiculous and it’s getting harder and harder to watch. I actually have to force myself to finish each episode. And the song…I think everyone knows exactly which one I mean 😭 They keep repeating it every single time. At this point, every time it plays, I just feel annoyed.
It’s 14 episodes long, but honestly, it could’ve been wrapped up in 7 because so many scenes feel dragged out. Maybe I set my expectations too high, and that’s why I’m so disappointed. Hopefully, their next series will be as good or even better than tsou

I was pleasantly surprised that the romcom and time travel aspects went well together, but the serial killer scenes were a bit off due to the abrupt shift in tone- the scenes would go from warm and sunny to cold and overcast with menacing background music in one instant. The villain was also flat and caricature-like, but given that this was just a plot device to keep the leads apart longer, I didn’t expect an interesting antagonist as if I were watching an actual thriller. It wasn’t a deal breaker though, and I found myself enjoying this for the most part. The female lead was spirited and charismatic, the male lead was lovable and warm hearted. They had a cute, adorable chemistry.
I also like the creative way the drama used time travel, like when the female lead blurted out spoilers to be able to pause time so she could get from one location to another. Im Sol's determination to protect the male lead, Sun Jae, was endearing and admirable, but it could get frustrating at times; the results of her efforts would tell her time and again that trying to change certain events would only make things worse, but she kept making the same mistake. Then again, I understood why. If you knew your loved one would end up getting murdered, I guess you wouldn’t be able to stop yourself from trying to prevent it either, even if your efforts were in vain.
This is a female centric show, but I don’t think of this as a flaw, more like a preference. If you want to see something that has an equal focus on both the leads, or is male centric, this may not be your cup of tea. Most of the story is from the female lead’s point of view and you only get bits of Sun Jae’s perspective later. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a preference for one trope or the other, but if one automatically dislikes a drama because of that one aspect/trope, it might be more practical to just choose another drama that has what they like. There is no point in watching a sports drama if you hate sports, anymore than it being counterproductive to watch a detective story if you hate that genre. I have my own set of preferences and tropes which I normally go for, but if another drama didn’t have what I liked but was still good, I wouldn’t rate it badly either.
Regardless of a drama being female centric, equally focused, multi-perspective, or male-centric…I want a drama to be good at what it does (be good at what it's trying to do), entertain me, be fast paced and have likable characters.
I think Lovely Runner succeeds for the most part. The plot didn’t slow down from beginning to end and while the leads were an odd couple- not just in terms of how they looked together but also how opposite their personalities were (manic, headstrong female lead, shy and vulnerable male lead) they were likeable and sweet together.
My main gripe is that I dislike the drama's over-the-top, slapstick humor. I found myself rolling my eyes at some of the jokes and gags, which were exaggerated. The male lead’s father getting stuck in the bathroom for a whole day because he was too weak to open the door... the second couple (the female lead’s brother and her best friend), were excruciating* in their courtship. They would jump into ponds in plain sight in the middle of the their school campus to avoid being seen, hide in lockers and cabinets, talk in extremely high pitched voices even a deaf person could hear…the toilet humor incident they had which got the best friend to like the brother...I felt that these scenes were plain unfunny and just added filler. They did more to detract from the drama and did nothing to enhance it.
The female lead herself, while spirited and charismatic, was a bit grating at first; she was way too over-the-top for me (shouting at the top of her lungs, etc), especially during her “high school” days, however, she gets better and mellows down during her college years. I don’t particularly care for her voice. I was trying to pinpoint what exactly bugged me about it. I’ve watched many an anime and asian drama with an annoyingly voiced female lead (ex: Orchid in Love Between Fairy and Devil, Sang Zhi from Hidden Love, etc) but they didn’t bother me…finally I realized that it’s because these female leads have high pitched girly voices which fits their age/character type.
The actress playing Im Sol has an old lady voice which doesn't sync with her appearance. It was like watching a 70 year old woman (with a syrupy sweet voice) talk in the body of a 30 something year old. The scene were Im Sol dresses in a monk’s costume with her face covered where she warns Sun Jae not to become a swimmer…I could really imagine an old woman as the embodiment of that voice.
The actress can’t help it though. It's her natural speaking voice and that aside, both she and the actor did fine; their performances weren’t extraordinary or anything like that. I could easily imagine another actress or actor playing them, but they delivered well and entertainingly. The rest of the cast were alright. There’s also a love triangle here, but it’s mostly played for laughs. I think the story does best when it focuses on the leads.

Only Wang An Yu acts like he is passionately in love
PLOT +/- "Forever Love": Two high school students fall in love during the break before university, but they break up because the ML leaves to continue his studies abroad. They meet again later, enrolled in the same university.
The only good points of this series:
+++ ( ღ’ᴗ’ღ ) Wang An Yu ( ღ’ᴗ’ღ ) is a phenomenal actor who carries the entire show on his shoulders.
+++ Good OSTs
+++ Very good veteran actors.
BUT
### Liu Hao Cun as FL. She's a good actress, pretty, but (I know it's in character, but) inexpressive!! Also, she shouldn't accept a romance drama because even when faced with a handsome, sexy, and in love Wang An Yu, she doesn't convey any real emotion! How could the director hire her for a series called "Be Passionately in Love" ("no kissing scenes contract" even for a romantic series)??? (ꐦ ಠ皿ಠ ) )
### The FL character is very poorly written, selfish, rude, and annoying. The All Green Flag ML deserves better [every one wonders what he sees in her].
### Why in C-dramas, 90% of best friends are stupid, clumsy, and blunderers? This recurring character is annoying.
### Overall, the storyline isn't coherent. Neither is the character development. In short, this story is very poorly written.
=> Only watch if you're a fan of Wang An Yu, otherwise you won't be able to stand it :)
**************************************************************************
Only Wang An Yu here, acts as he is passionately in love
+++ ( ღ’ᴗ’ღ ) Wang An Yu ( ღ’ᴗ’ღ ) acteur phénoménal qui porte tout le show sur ses épaules.
+++ Bons OSTs
Be passionately in love " ("no kiss contract" even for a romantic series) ??? (ꐦ ಠ皿ಠ ) )
