E mi spiace rilevare che stoccafisso Choi Jin Hyuk compare nella stessa top ben due volte (l'altra è con Devilish Joy).
L'idea di partenza era carina: un misterioso incidente trasforma la protagonista. Di notte è se stessa, ventottenne disoccupata per destino avverso, e di giorno vive nel corpo (e nelle incomparabili capacità recitative di Lee Jung Eun) di una matura ed energica ajumma.
Purtroppo il drama è tutto qui. Aggiungiamo l'aggravante che il genere è commedia-romantica-troppo-gialla. O, se volete, thriller-inutilmente- romantico.

Too many unnecessary scenes
Novels really need to be modified when adapted to live action! This one had way too many unnecessary scenes, drawn-out dialogue, and repetitive moments that should have been edited out. At least they had the sense to skip the pregnancy subplot! It was an okay drama, but nothing special in terms of acting or storyline compared to other bl out there. The princess in distress scenes took way too much space, it was overwhelming. The only new thing in it was the pregnancy subplot. Final 11 minutes of the story was a mess and no chemistry between the leads
I was in the mood for Sun Qian Xun's dramas so I picked this one because I also enjoy Zhao Zhen Dong's acting. I had some expectations about this drama. Unfortunately this drama felt short to me.What I liked:
1. FL characterisation - She transmigrated into a novel she had written and instead of predetermined supporting character, she became main character. I liked her thoughts of completing her mission. Very entertaining but she clearly didn't know how to outwit the system.
2. ML characterisation - We knew he transmigrated too but I was surprised that he had been given mission. I too enjoyed watching his antics. ZZD playing a charming, mischievous guy is always fun to watch.
3. Plot twist - The plot twist at ML's office marked the start of third act and damn, I liked it.
4. Supporting characters - I really liked Dr Zhuang as he was an abstute observer and mostly nice person. His character had depth. Played brilliantly by Ji Jun Liang.
5. Relationship - Interesting to see different dynamics between FL and ML at different stages of their relationship. There were some good kisses between them.
6. Styling - I liked the different styling given to FL before and after transmigration. The men's formal wear for the banquet was good. Both ZZD & JJL looked very handsome.
What I disliked:
1. ML's actions - I disliked him for being harsh to FL before transmigration.
2. Final 11 minutes - WHY??? 180 degree character change was a disappointment.
3. Acting - SQX's acting was one note and stiff - she lacked charm in most of her scenes. I also didn't sense any chemistry between her and ZZD. Their relationship lacked warmth.

I'm a little disappointed.
Am I the only one who didn't like the ending. The transition was awful. There was so much more that should of been shown. They should have expanded the series to 20 episodes. They just threw a bunch of stuff at us all at once. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved the serires, but so disappointed of the last episode. Really hoping for a season 2. I remember at one point MingYi said her master has researched the Bo clan for years.And Hanfeng wants to get his hands on the Golden Millet Dream.But since he was failing so,MingYi's master poisoned her and sent her by Ji Bozai's side to seek the Golden Millet dream for him.Once she get her hands on it,he would get rid of her.

Unhinged Shin Hye Sun charms in tepid rebirth tale
Whether you believe in reincarnation or not, See You in My 19th Life will make you realize you give major creep vibes if you approach and ask a stranger to date you on the spot 😹Ban Ji Eum (Shin Hye Sun) lives through countless reincarnation through the years. However, her short-lived 18th life makes her think she has an unfinished business that she went through great lengths in her 19th life just to reconnect with the people she met from her previous life.
Hye Sun is such a delight to watch especially the way she brings multiple characters to life. She effectively balances brazenness and craziness. It makes the viewers think she’s actually romantic for trying to reunite with her one true love from her previous life, even if she love bombs him. There's no denying in Hye Sun's acting prowess. She often takes on unique and interesting characters that could easily stand out and be memorable. However, I wanted more depth and specifics about her past lives, a mere 10-second flashback and reminiscing won’t do. I’m genuinely curious how she handles her accumulated memories and emotional attachments, especially her inner drive to live through every life.
Ahn Bo Hyun plays Moon Seo Ha, Hye Sun’s 18th life LOML. Aside from his impressive talent to stay at the bottom of a swimming pool, Bo Hyun’s character is painfully plain and boring, not to mention his stoic acting and inexpressive face. The hardest thing when getting paired with Hye Sun is the stark contrast in performance is evident when you’re not able to keep up with her. Hye Sun masterfully conveys her emotion and authenticity in every muscle of her face. Bo Hyun overdoes the brooding character and ends up delivering dull performance.
The story is heartwarming, but it fails to pull some heartstrings and be more memorable. The leads here are magnetic and pull you right into watching even if the plot seems outlandish. The mystery behind Hye Sun’s past and current lives will inevitably make you glued to the screen as it is an intriguing plot device. However, the execution and revelation of answers are poorly written. The shocking pieces of truth didn’t stir up my emotions that much. This kdrama offers a tepid heartwarming story about reincarnation. It is pleasant enough, but never quite moving or memorable.
Overall, See You in My 19th life is funny and romantic or crazy and obsessive depending on how you view it. It’s a fun and light watch if you will brush off the fact that a hundred-year-old lady falls in love with an 8-year old boy and tries so hard to reconnect and rekindle her love with him haha. In the end, all the beloved supernatural romance always comes across as creepy and give off stalker vibes but we all chose to turn a blind eye to it and chose to have a good time instead.

Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy
The drama is light with lots of comedy, and although there are many unrealistic things, it's a fantasy drama so there's no need to overthink it. Every episode is entertaining and makes you want to keep watching.The visuals of both the actor and actress are amazing, and this is Suzy's best partner so far.

When the feeling fades
Love’s Ambition begins with the promise of an interesting second-chance romance but quickly loses its footing in a sea of clichés. What could have been a layered story about identity and longing ends up trapped in the familiar rhythm of modern Chinese melodramas.The first episodes are genuinely engaging: the romance between a powerful, calculating businessman and a woman desperate for love feels charged and unpredictable. Her lies, inventing a family, hiring actors to play her parents, hiding the truth from her husband, make her both flawed and fascinating. Her emotional wounds are understandable, even sympathetic. Yet as the story unfolds, the writing stretches her character beyond credibility; deceit turns theatrical, and the drama drifts away from the sincerity that once gave it heart.
When she finally realises that her life is built on sand and chooses to walk away, the drama briefly regains strength. Unfortunately, this redemption is short-lived. Around the twentieth episode, the tone shifts into forced comedy and unnecessary subplots, dragging out what could have ended while it still had something to show. By the final stretch, the show feels tired and repetitive, the sort of drama you half-watch while pressing the fast-forward button.
Zhao Lusi delivers a committed performance, elevating material that often lets her down. She captures both the desperation and quiet strength of her character with admirable precision. Her co-star is competent but lacks the magnetic presence the role requires, perhaps a matter of miscasting more than talent.
Despite flashes of emotional truth and solid production values, the drama ultimately falls short of its name. In the end, I wasn’t moved, a reminder that being watchable isn’t the same as being memorable.

There are two important parts of the novel that weren’t shown: from the moment Shaoyu was admitted to the hospital until the birth.
Wulang actually believed that Gao Tu planned for 10 years just for the pregnancy and asked him for money? Why? What was going through his mind? And the video that hwa yong was watching—what was the meaning of that? Also, Guo tu never defended himself. His personality is always overwhelmed, never happy. Always fainted, depressed, suffering, because of pheromones or Wulang’s bad treatment.
And the ending? A quick meeting in an amusement park? No dialogue? Just a five-second scene? Why? I was waiting for this moment the whole series! The series was great, but they ruined it in the end.If I were the writer or director, I would have divided those parts of the novel and placed them appropriately, two episodes before the end, leaving space to heal the relationship between Wulang and Gao Tu. There was no need to rush. The story deserves 20 or 24 episodes, not 16. People loved the series and would have accepted longer episodes.
The director has the power and resources for another episode
Honestly, today they really upset me… 😢😡Yes, they could have made a much better and more beautiful ending than what they gave us. Even if they release special episodes, it won’t make up for it, because they skipped many important stages and cut a lot of the novel’s ending scenes. The series turned into a mess with no clear conclusion.
If there’s a second season without removing the last episode, then it’s pointless in my opinion — the last one was way too messy and completely unorganized.

THE BEST ESPIONAGE DRAMA OF 2025............Periodt.
The 35 Episodes wrapped and the finale comes in hot, part victory: part knife to the heart. It is witty when it needs to be, brutal when it counts and lands its theme with a clean, old-school flourish.Since the day I started this drama, it had me hooked from the get go. With each episode, it kept me on my toes for all the good reasons. The relationship between the leads is top-tier. Each one of them present for the other. Kudos to the actors for their superb and realistic acting that keeps you engaged. Kudos to the writer for such high quality screenwriting. Smartly paced, surprisingly funny when it calls for and devastating on cue.
I wish more people would discover this masterpiece cause it is so underrated. To the future viewers, don't hesitate to watch this. You will absolutely fall in love.
Classy finale, big feelings, no wasted curtain call.

it started good then it went downhill
*huge spoilers: only read if you are okay with that*im sorry but what was that ending? i hate it when they shock me in the last mins with something like this, that was kind of abrupt and cruel, like let us make the most drastic ending we can think of, why?
coudnt they simply separate and live their own lives ? as if cheating nonstop wasnt enough already to annoy me, lets kill one of them? maybe change it to a scene of the ml seeking therapy isnt that better?
the only good thing is that the mls had chemistry and also the start of the show wasnt bad and was kind of entertaining in a sense that i didnt see filler scenes nor i felt bored when i was watching, my rating could have been much lower if it wasnt for that

A masterpiece . That is all. The story, the acting, the heartbreak, the pining, the pain all and more, full on the brim of the cup and tears that followed. I am a jumbled up emotional fool right now.This is not a BL, it is more than that. It is a queer story, it feels an art-house production, a rare phenomenon in the sea of mid shows.

💞 My Feelings About the Drama
I absolutely love the main couple (Hua Yong & Sheng Shaoyou) — they were breathtaking together and gave us such strong chemistry and emotion.
But my favorite couple will always be Gao Tu (Omega) and Shen Wenlang (Alpha).
Lovely Gao Tualways catches my heart and heals me with his pure and warm smile. And Shen— with his calm strength, gentle nature, and deep love — matches him perfectly. They are the true Alpha and Omega couple I always dreamed of seeing in a live-action drama.
Every moment between them felt so precious, magical, and emotional. Their chemistry was pure perfection — every glance, every smile, every hug made my heart melt. 💖
😭 My Heartbreak.
But I also feel very sad… because Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang had so little screen time together.
Their story touched my heart so much, but it ended too soon. I wanted to see more of them — more of their moments, more of their love, more of their happiness.

Absurd whilst emotional.
The contrast of the deeply emotional story and the ridiculous character makes it a very ennoble watch for me. No Mu-Jin feels like someone I would know it real life. His motivations for doing the things he does make sense, as well as his reactions to the paranormal situations.I like the chemistry between the actors, they're perfectly cast, though sometimes I'm frustrated with Gyeon-U not standing up for himself.
Overall, I like the sorry and characters, but the pacing was a bit rushed.

Exquisite
Despite its flaws, this is one of my top five C-dramas. A story of finding yourself in the midst of heartbreak. It centers on a young woman who experienced deep heartbreak and went on a long term vacation at a sleepy town in rural China.Plot: Slow paced in every sense of the word. This drama is character-driven and the romance is one of the most slow-burn you'll ever see. So this drama might not be everyone's cup of tea. But joining the FL in her path to healing and bonding with her newfound friends makes it all worth it.
Cast: Known in the West as the actress who played Mulan, Crystal showcases her superb acting skills in this drama. Her soft-voice and gentle demeanor matches this drama's atmosphere to a T. She's so talented. Fans will also recognize the ML as the protagonist in Go Go Squid. Xian is also a perfect fit since he doesn't have top model looks, making him a good fit as a likeable everyman who is devoted to his small town and fights for his ideals while trying to woo the FL in relatable ways.
The support cast have backstories that are for the most part endearing and engaging, but I could have done without the guitarist You Yu Hu and the ML's colleague, Xiao. A divorced single mom, Xiao is short fused and no-nonsense, so it was hard to understand why this professional woman was once married to a guy who is so mellow, introverted and simple-minded. I know opposite attracts but without any backstory the contrast between the two is jarring. She also shuns another potential suitor but there's little explanation behind her choices, making her character too one-dimensional.
However, my biggest peeve goes to the lazy and aimless guitarist Hu, a kind of a starving-artist stereotype who was the butt of all jokes. A character for comedic relief is understandable, but the guy was the target of so many put-downs that, as a male viewer, it got very annoying after a while. As icing on the cake, he had to be "rescued" in a scene by an older woman. In short, saying he was a wimp is a big understatement. They laid it down too thick with this character, so I skipped most of his story arc.
Final Thoughts: There is another concern about the script that few people talk about, but it needs to be said. The leads were both in their 30s. I believe the FL was already 30 when she met the ML and the drama makes it very clear that she is focused on building her career in the upcoming years. Similar to You Are My Glory, you get the sense that if the couple starts a family, it will be well into their mid-30s, at the onset of a geriatric pregnancy, and the challenges that it entails. No drama I've seen, whether in the East or the West, shows couples even remotely talking about this matter. It would serve the impressionable young adults who watch these dramas to see this important topic at least mentioned when couples plan for the future and decide whether to bear children or not.
All that aside, Meet Yourself is so highly rewatchable since it deftly weaves together wise teachings with inspirational stories about the power of friendship and community as we find our meaning, healing and thirsting for life. You'll fall in love with the sweet grandma, the chatty townswomen, and the charming backdrop and slow pace of life in rural China. I hope to see more dramas that explore more regions outside the big cities and shows more of the vibrant and diverse landscape of East Asian culture.
