Boring and nothing new

Same old plot. Is there nothing new? The girl is a red flag. The guy is a green flag. He doesnt deserve a girl who is so obsessed with her ex. She is not even that pretty for a guy to chase after her. There's nothing to watch except for zhang linghe's face. it turned into a frustrating, repetitive cycle of indecision on the fl's part. The plot drags on, relying on the same push-and-pull dynamic in every episode. Rather than growing, the characters remain stuck in a never-ending loop of poor decisions. There is no chemistry between. the storytelling is weak and lack of satisfying character development.

It's bit boring for me

I struggled to finish this even tho I was speed watching it I found it very hard to get through episodes the concept is nice but there is not much going on in story itself ...
The series lacks in major ways with it's dialogues and story , it was not comforting for me after some point because the characters were not interesting , it doesn't even try to be different and have any interesting plot it stick to it's basic plot through out 28 episodes .. now I understand how it can be very healing and comforting for other people but at some point I got tired of them constantly cooking eating and cleaning ...
One major things I observed is the story tried to be in pov of both ML and FL but mainly focuses on ML pov most of times ... And there were some scenes especially at starting where I felt like FL pov was important or needed to understand her more or her character more... But it was not there, because she was going through heartbreak I really felt like we needed to know how she was feeling when she was almost falling in love or starting to feel something it felt ambiguous at certain times because the story focuses alot on his feelings ...
Maybe I'm being over critical in fl character or story because I love forbidden flower it's my fav story of all time of FL , I can't help but compare how beautiful love was portrayed in that story and here the direction story dialogues really fall behind after FL and ML get together there is nothing happening in their life it's like straight filler episodes until the end.. I didn't even find any cute scenes of them while they were in relationship.. I'm really mad because I tried to like it finished it in 3 days but I couldn't last episodes really were testing me.

Don't know if this is a spoiler or not. Ep. 9s misunderstanding was...something... ML "has" a son when it's just someone else's, but the kid doesn't have a dad only a mom so the kid calls ML dad and FMLs reaction to what she hears makes her sour and she goes drinking and drinks too much like why does she instantly HATE ML just because he "has" a son? Just don't treat him like trash and move on; she feels so immature at times too. FMLs fem coworker has gotten more annoying too while the male coworker feels like a likeable character,(more so than fem coworker) of course he has his quirks but he seems like a nice person. There could be a wider variety of music they use too but besides that the show isn't bad

If you want to sleep watch this

I really tried.. really.

Kept falling asleep and waking up wondering why I couldn't stay awake watching this? It's almost like I was seeing this doctor myself. The story did well in making me nap!

The leads chemistry wasn't there for me.
The ml being a green flag still wasn't that great like everyone is making him out to be.

She is having ex boyfriend problems, but hey here is this green flag ml who keeps smiling in her face.
He really was annoying to me. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against green flag ml's, but this ml wasn't a fan of him. There is way better ml's than this one.

The best thing? Yes, the best naps I've had in a while.

Feel good,Nice like a music video, not much story

If you want to just feel good and enjoy the view like a beautiful music video,then this is for you. It's like a walk through a beautiful garden. The actors are excellent and the cinematography is beautiful in creating the perfect "feel" in this aspect it's really good

The TCM is really impressive and I learned a lot from this drama. Really eye opening

The story is nothing very much and it became a bit bland by episode 19-20, I almost abandoned it because it's not going anywhere

Otherwise it's enjoyable but not much brain work type of drama designed to calm the spirit

Not my cup of tea.

It’s definitely one of those hype dramas that a lot of people are talking about, but personally, I’m just not feeling it at all. I tried to get into the story, but it didn’t really pull me in—everything feels a bit flat and predictable. The pacing didn’t help either, and nothing really stood out enough to keep me invested.

The chemistry between the leads is honestly the biggest issue for me. It just feels off. Even with so many kissing scenes—which I assume are there to attract viewers—it still doesn’t translate into real emotional connection. It ends up feeling more forced than natural, like they’re trying too hard to convince the audience instead of letting the chemistry build on its own.

I won’t deny that they’re both good actors individually, but together, there’s just no compatibility. Something about their dynamic doesn’t click, and it makes their scenes hard to watch. I’ve seen XRH in her other dramas, and while she’s decent, her projects tend to have the same vibe—nothing really fresh or different, so it starts to feel repetitive after a while.

ZLH rarely has issues when it comes to chemistry with his co-stars—except this one. For some reason, with her, it just doesn’t work at all.

Kind of dull and slow

This is a show about 'healing'. The female lead is having insomnia and gets to know her doctor the ML. The show doesn't really hook me and I'm on episode 8. I signed up with iqlyl to watch this show because there was a lot of hype about it. It's definitely a slow moving drama and I don't understand the great ratings. I love the male actor in many movies like the one he is on currently pursuit of Jade. That show is a 10/10 and I am never bored. Yet with this show it's mostly just talk and nothing really happening. The FL was fabulous in forbidden flower. That show I was never this bored. All in all, it's a good show to "kill time" between shows waiting for new episodes of pursuit of jade to drop but this one was one snooze fest for me. I'm struggling to watch the thing and want to speed up the show to 2x. Currently doing 1.5x.

Life's too short...

This one's not for me. Let me give you the low-lights. In episode one, the ML, who's a doctor, keeps sneaking furtive glances at the FL. She wonders what he looks like without his surgical mask. Other people comment on her beauty and his good looks. She brings a friend to her next appointment, so the friend can evaluate Dr. McDreamy. But he isn't there. Instead there's an older doctor substituting for the younger guy. Horrors! A betrayal. She sees McDreamy on the street and lashes out at him for "standing her up!" As if the whole medical thing is some kind of a dating service. He seems to buy into it. (Oh, and why does she care anyway? She already has a boyfriend--supposedly.)

It's true that a lot of series don't catch fire until the second or third episodes. But I'm just not curious about either of these people. I need something more substantial to keep me watching-the hint of a mystery, some depth of character, an intriguing plot device.
