MAJESTIC. JUST MAJESTIC
One of those cliché stories where your initial expectation was it'll be bad. But because it was well-written, directed, acted and produced, you just see yourself, engrossed and smiling every segment of each episode. Never a dull moment. From the OST, Cinematography, Acting, etc. Everything...just beautiful. Amplified by the superb acting and chemistry of Ohm and Nanon, I’m just in love with this series. It keeps getting better each episode. Probably the only BL series I haven't had a complaint thus far. Brilliant<3 <3 <3 And I cant wait to get crushed and cry my heart out by ep 8-11 and be revived by it’s majestic ending. I’m sure Backaof won’t disappoint. First Episodes Worth Watching. Good Scenes and Distracting Elements
After the 6th episode, the series acted as if it was the 2nd season, but this is not the main problem. In the second half of the series, it started to repeat every event and scene that was beautiful in the first half in a more mediocre way. If I had to, I would only watch the first 1-6 episodes because they are worth watching. There are some very beautiful scenes that stay in my mind, I love this series for those scenes (room fight and lift etc.).Since I watched less scenes of Pat's retarded, unevolved friends, whom I hated and fast-forwarded their scenes, I am examining the series from the more BL part. Again, these unnecessary people were tolerable in the first episodes, hated in the middle, and towards the end it seemed that normalisation had begun. I didn't watch the continuation anyway

For all the hopeless romantics, this series is an absolute treat, delivering a heartwarming experience.In the beginning, I expected another cliche and not properly thought-out university drama. Been overdone now, but I carried on. While reading this review of Bad Buddy 2021, keep in mind that I started watching this movie expecting it to have a lot of NC scenes (No Children scenes).
Bad Buddy was a generally great series, the actors did a good job in bringing the characters to life. It has the power to make you burst into laughter, shed a few tears, and even feel like dancing around the room.
Firstly, the acting is truly commendable, with the cast delivering impressive performances. What sets it apart is how genuine the reactions and physical interactions feel; there's a naturalness to their chemistry that never comes across as awkward or forced. The relationship depicted in the series steers clear of toxic dynamics. Instead, it keeps you engaged and wanting more.
Pat brought sugar and fun to Pran's uptight character. Pat was the comedian of the duo. And I think they had one of the most beautiful kiss scenes I've seen in a Bl series(Pat and Pran's first kiss)
If you're like me who starts certain BL series with NC expectations, perish that thought because, on a scale of 5, this series is at 0.5 with the steamy content but is 4 out of 5 stars in general. This is a 4 because while it's an overall great performance, I refused to see the hype behind this Bl series and in my books, I've watched better like Kinnporshe, and even The Eclipse.
Maybe my opinion is biased because these series that I consider better than Bad Buddy are more recent and the industry has progressed.
Also, I still found bits of this series cringe, and the plot is not very new. It is still another university BL drama but was just executed better.

Great acting, Typical Storyline
The 2 actors acting are great! What adds to it is they fantastic chemistry. Other than EarthMix, they are the one that I felt with really good on-screen interaction in a series. What's lacking is the story line. To be honest, we dont have to finish the series to know what is going to happen the next few episodes. The story is probably going to be like the other BL drams that we have watched - i would say something along the lines of Kiss Me Again. However, i think it's already performing better than Tonhon Chonlatee and Fish Upon The Sky though :)But will i be watching though? Yes. I think it still serves as a good entertainment value with high rewatch value - easy to watch and have fun on a friday night.

Wow !!!What A Chemistry ?
This series is so enjoyable to watch because of the two main leads ( Ohm & Nanon ) . Simple story line but never get bored.All the supporting casts are doing a great jobs as well. Director knows how to sell his stories to audiences.
I love the acting , directing , script, OST …. Everything so far so good.
Overall, one of the best series of 2021.

From Just Friends to Cannot Be Just Friends
Superb acting from Ohm and Nanon! Especially with Nanon and his little nuances, both deliver outstanding expression with just through their eyes, it will get you immersed in their enemies to lovers relationship.The direction is flawless with the comedic moments executed not over the top and the romantic scenes leaving you in awe and amazement.
I love the part where they introduce conflict in the form of family and friends. The problem with friends is that they can never catch a break with the college rivalry having to be battle it out in almost anything. The family conflict goes deep-rooted though and them being actual neighbors does not help the relationship at all! They have history and the way the series establishes it is not some form of a random placement but rather creating a narrative that the audience can easily follow through as the series progresses.
I cannot wait till the romance arc, of which I am confident Ohm and Nanon can pull through! Simply the Best BL series of 2021!

Love this BL
This BL drama made me fall in love with this genre. It is disappointing that OhmNanon will not be making more of this kind of show. Their chemistry was truly phemenonal. It balances the humor, melodramatic elements, and romance in a way few other BL dramas have been able to do. I have seen several dozen BLs since this one. I wish I weren't spoiled with how superb this show was because it shaped my expectations for other BL dramas/rom-coms.Was this review helpful to you?
The evergreen comfort series with outshining chemistry
I rewatched it after years again and decided to contribute to the review community because everyone deserves to watch this masterpiece at least once.The plot is simple, very simple, very linear but something about it healed thousands of us. The story revolving around two people who wants to but shouldn't be together. It was not that dark or depressing but it hit some corner in the heart. The characters were the true pillar of the series. They felt relatable. Every scene had a meaning, helped the story in a way. This made me giggle, made me tear up, made me smile and gave me comfort because Pat and Pran felt like real people and I felt like a part of their universe witnessing a warm love story and friendship boom. Another good point? They called out all old school BL jokes about women, hetero normativity, internalized homophobia and so on. That became the reason BBS is one of the most revolutionary BL of all time.
The direction was not something that would make your jaw drop but it caught the exact feeling they wanted to go for the series. Light, comforting but at the same time more than just fluff. Every scene was so well done that even after a couple of watch you will never feel bored of it.
Before BBS I never thought on screen chemistry holds so much of importance because OhmNanon chemistry gave this series some different out of this world essence. To this day it is hard to match it. Love and Milk was the start of the GL rise in GMMTV. The supporting cast added much more to the series.
I am stopping here because it will be never be enough for me when it comes to writing about Bad Buddy. Even after decades this will still be sought after as one of the best BLs of all time.

I absolutely love this BL…like there is nothing bad to say about it. Even though the plot is simple, it had a twist on it to make it more appealing and interesting. I love the main couple since this relationship has so much character and chemistry so it makes it more enjoyable. Especially when it was airing, after every episode I felt like I always wanted more and couldn’t wait until the next episode. I also love that it has a GL element to the story, since at the time, GMMTV never really had that element before. The ending was really interesting and went beyond what I could’ve expected or imagined. It was really good and definitely one of my favs from GMMTV. I wish we could see more of OhmNanon since this is their one and only BL series together. They had so much chemistry and potential but I respect them and any decisions they made.Was this review helpful to you?

Dawg, that was so good. The average for it was 9.45, so I rounded up. The highest was a 10, which I gave the last three episodes, and the lowest was an 8.5. This was a really good show. Two straight men in love were the vibe of this and I am all here for that. Their chemistry was so good, the tension between these two was crazy, so fucking crazy. These two, oh my god. I loved them together so much. Just the vibe they gave off, was so warm and I loved it. It took me a long time to finish because I was having a hard time getting into the show at first. It took me 16 days to complete, which is a long time because it usually takes like a day, but it's okay because this was a good show. We have some generational beef. It's joining the two, now three, that I have at a 9.5 stars because this lived up to the hype. The show was light work on most parts, but some parts were hard to get through because I am anti-description and tend to be confused very easily. They fell apart a lot, and that was a lot for me. But they came through at the end. The whole world was out to get them. Their friends hated each other; their families hated each other, and because of that, they felt obligated to hate each other. Which turned into love, wow, my favorite, some rivals to lovers! It lived up to the hype. The shows were good, the acting was good, and the singing was good. I don't like singing in Thai dramas, but the last song that was sung in the 11th episode was really good, and I was vibing to it. Their kiss scenes were really good, as was that last part of the last episode. Yes, always yes. I ate this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, bro even the goddamn midnight snack; it was so good. so very good. I am going to rewatch this for sure. A killer ending to an even more killer show. This series is perfect. I can watch bad buddy all day. I love ohm and also nanon they are perfect for this series. Nanon is a perfect singer. I suggest this series to anyone who want to see a good series of enemies to lovers. I m sorry if my English is bad but I m not English so this is the best i can do. About the series I would say that is perfect and everyone should watch it, I'm sad that ohm and nanon don't talk any more but I m waiting for their series, the bl of ohm and the straight series of nanon.Was this review helpful to you?
i loved it at the time!
when i first watched this series, i loved it so much! it had everything, from angst to cute ass moments and it just got better every week a new episode came out! like, this series was my escape at tthe time from things and it made me so happy everytime i watched it! and i would totally recommend it to people that want to get into BL series, like this series its a good way to start to get into BL series! 10/10 would recommend!Was this review helpful to you?
