A nice BL out of stereotype and that you feel like a good wine
One of the best drama I watch and that I don't mind to rewatch again. First of all, we have a couple which are versatile, no stereotype of bottom and top which is good among all the BL we find. The story is really well built and they could do enough with the number of episodes they had. Even with more episodes they would have some stuff to put and it is nice. The actors ... wow. they have a really good chemestry and they know how to act and I am talking about all the cast not just the lead actors. Literally my favorite BL ever
I love this show with my whole being. I went in not expecting to love it as much as I did, but the story and the characters were amazing. I highly recommend you watch this. I think its a good beginner show to watch, its not too spicy and the plot is so good. when gmmtv released bad buddy series in 2021, it instantly became a standout in the bl genre—and for good reason. instead of leaning on tired clichés or melodrama, it gave us a story that was light, funny, heartfelt, and groundbreaking in the way it handled lgbtq+ themes.the plot follows pat (ohm pawat) and pran (nanon korapat), neighbors turned rivals thanks to their feuding families. what begins as playful competition slowly grows into a tender love story, filled with witty banter, quiet longing, and the kind of chemistry that makes every moment between them sparkle.
ohm and nanon’s performances carry the series effortlessly. nanon gives pran a gentle but firm depth, while ohm brings pat’s impulsiveness and warmth to life. together, they create one of the most natural, believable romances in the genre—funny, vulnerable, and utterly captivating. the chemistry between ohm and nanon is undeniable; every glance, every smile, every argument feels charged with authenticity, making their pairing one of the strongest the industry has seen.
but what really made bad buddy special was how it challenged common bl stereotypes. unlike many series where characters feel the need to justify themselves with lines like “i’m straight, but i like him,” pat and pran never once questioned their attraction or identity. their love was treated as natural, not something to be explained away. the show also avoided the outdated “husband and wife” dynamic often assigned to queer couples—instead, it portrayed them as equals, partners who balanced each other beautifully.
the family angle was another refreshing touch. while pat and pran’s parents initially opposed their relationship due to long-standing grudges, it was never about homophobia. in fact, the show was clear that both families were perfectly fine with whoever their sons dated. the conflict was rooted in rivalry, not prejudice—a small but meaningful shift that set this series apart from many others.

this is my comfort BL drama for sure.... whenever I feel like I am in a bad mood or I feel exhausted with my life I watch this bI to see their friendship the love the cuteness the forbidden trope and bl gl trope, the one sided love the enemies to lovers........I love the actors nanon and ohm .....
they are great
I especially loved iat when pat realises that he is in love with pran ....
the moment of realisation in his eyes is beautiful
their first kiss was one of the best kisses in BL history
the kiss was kind of letting go of what the parents what their relationship to be like and accepting what their heart wants.....
the scene in which pat loudly confuses to pran is sooooo beautiful
there are a lot of people who don't think that this is the best BL ever but I am not a very critical person while watching a bl and may be that's why I loved this drama and I always watch this
and every time I watch this BL I love it even more
the actors did a good job in portraying there roles and I am very happy that I could watch this drama anytime I want
if you think this drama is bad I don't know what to say to you but I loved it

the actors had great chemistry and they were very cute too
I know that the actors don't have a friendship as of now but I am happy that patpran will always have a great relationship in my mind........
and I really really loved our Sky 2 bad buddy
even though I did feel like in our Sky 2 the characters seem to be a little distant and their chemistry had gone little low
I think this is one of the best bl's made and I will always come back to this for ever

my first ever gmmtv bl, I wasn’t expecting much since I thought it’s just a regular rivalry Highschool drama but NO, I’m wrong. The fact that they were born to go against eo, born to compete, born to hate eo without even knowing they fell for each other and had to keep it all a secret. I love how the story is so realistic. the chemistry is way too good, I swear I cried because I didn’t want it to end, I love them patpran. I swear after that I went to watch every interview they had. the osts are so good specially ‘just friends’ and ‘our song’ it really apply towards the actual plot and I love it. 10/10 I RECOMMEND IT SOO BADDD!!Was this review helpful to you?
My most re-watched show
The mains do a fantastic job, their chemistry is off the charts, and the story is great. Personally I wasn't a fan of how the show ended but it doesn't effect my overall rating of the show. The heartfelt moment after they realize their feelings for each other was beautiful. They should have won all the awards right there. The supporting cast was really good too. I loved seeing good supportive friendships rather than people just there with the label "friend" and not really contributing anything other than comic relief. the characters have crazy chemistry
it was a great show, totally recommend it! Both acting of the main characters is very good!! The storyline itself is cute and funny. I love how they overcome their selves in order to love each other. it’s very sweet. I wish for everyone to find a live like theirs!!! it’s such an awesome show, they got me writing a review and I never do that. My mind thoughout the series
as i could already had this istitutuin Tht pran already liked phat since beginning….n as drama progress Got to find out he liked him in high skl but he saw tht phat like this gurl so he would get hurt when he saw her and phat together..even in present whn he sees them he seems so hurt tht my heart cant take the achness and throbbing.ouchh….really heart every time.i love his acting.i just love him..in ep 4 they both tlk abt who likes tht gurl n once again pran feel torn apart whn he hears tht phat likes ink from his own mouth…n thn phat tries to confirm his feelings with her but she doesnt like her…ok other side phat trues out the tricks to find out if someline like u on pran n he starts to realised in ep 5 tht he likes Pran n has feelings 4him..he gets jelly of pran’s friends n even beats him infront of pran nearly wanting to expose thier relationship tht they know each other….thn pran and phat talk to each other on rooftop n phat says he doesn know if they are friends or enemies and want to find out n all n thn pran q him if they want to be frnds n phat says no…n…..they have a kis…okg…u dont no how much i felt during this kiss..omg…i cant handle the excitement…the happy butterflies right now..omg…i cant belive they kisssed….damm the kiss was so hot and passionate…one of the best kissses in bl so far..i could feel the emotions,passion and feelings…i had to watch tht kiss scene again cuz i was so excited n laughing tht i could only see hald cuz my eyes were half cover with my cheeks…heeheeafyer ep 5 phat tries to talk to pran but he keeps quiet n thn phat Follows him around n thn finally pran talks to him duing the camp…they kept a bet tht they will make the each other confess their feelings…n then they start to play the bet game and flirting with each other…at end of ep 7 they Come to good terms n kind of end the game…they have cheek kisses..so cute…omg ep 8..its like they taking turns to sulk and pessify each other..they have mini fights which r so cute…i just live their love interaction…they tryna hide their relationship But thn at end of ep 8 they accidentally pull down the curtain of the Stage n they reveal their closenes…so excited…fin the series @3.20am on 14/5Was this review helpful to you?

Y'all... I loved this... no spoilers, but I loved this, and I know everyone and their mother loved this (well... this may not be a mom kind of show) but I loved it so much, it ate, I loved it. It just made me super happy. I truly don't think I've ever been this content with the ending and just the everything in a show, like everything about it was really good, and honestly the things that I might have a small issue with are so small and insignificant that they don't even effect the rating I'm giving it, like this might be one of the few 10/10 BL's I've seen (Not Me is 10/10 too tho dw dw) Like its not even that this is my new fav show or that it's even in my top shows I've seen, but it was just so good and complete and made me happy that I just loved it even though its not my all time favorite (idk if that makes sense) ANyways, it was really good 10/10 would recommend, would watch againWas this review helpful to you?
