Must watch!
Wow wow wow…Do you ever watch those rare shows that leave you with speechless emotions and words at the end? This is it…I don’t give out 10/10 lightly and this one was an easy one to do so. Everything about this was amazing. The story, the acting ( I love me some Bai Jingting), the ost…
Can I erase my memory of this show just so I can watch it for the first time again and relive over and over the feeling you get at the end?
Run to watch this NOW.

Awesome
I usually am not interested in shows like resets. But this show is amazing and I highly reccommend! Not one downer moment just straight thriller! I could not stop watching that’s how good it was. Usually by the 3rd episode I drop shows but even the romance was tasteful. I usually don’t like slow burn romance but well done. A lot of nuts because I don’t usually find myself into a show as I was with this one. It’s such an exception! I don’t want to drop any spoilers but the male lead in his last cycle knowing he is going to die drove me nuts. I cried for like 5 minutes.I highly reccommend you watch this show ❤️

I went into Reset out of pure curiosity—everyone on mdl was praising it, so I thought I’d just give it “a try.” And now here I am, fully joining that crowd because this drama absolutely delivers. I ended up loving almost everything about it.Reset is an intense, tightly-written thriller centered on a suffocating time-loop that traps a university student, Li Shiqing, and a game developer, Xiao Heyun, on a bus destined to explode. What could’ve easily turned repetitive is instead executed with such precision that every loop reveals something new. Nothing felt skippable—every second, every detail, every expression mattered.
The moment Li Shiqing realizes she’s trapped in a loop and accidentally drags Xiao Heyun in with her, the drama becomes a rollercoaster. Their struggles to stop the accident are full of tension, emotion, and brilliant storytelling. The pacing is PERFECT: no fillers, no wasted scenes, just pure plot progression.
What surprised me most is how emotionally compelling the bond between the leads becomes. Romance isn’t the focus, but the connection is undeniably there—subtle, warm, and earned through shared fear, trust, and survival. Two strangers thrown into chaos, slowly turning into true partners who refuse to abandon each other.
The side characters also shine. Even with only 15 episodes, Reset gives everyone depth and purpose. The entire cast delivers nuanced, convincing performances that make the story feel alive.
By the end, I understood why this drama was so hyped. It’s not just a time-loop story—it’s an intelligent thriller with heart, great acting, and a script that keeps surprising you until the final moment.
Wow. Truly, almost every episode left me on the edge of my seat. And just when I thought there couldn’t possibly be another twist… there was.
If you’re hesitant about time-loop dramas, trust me—Reset is the exception. It’s smart, gripping, emotionally engaging, and absolutely worth watching.

A Gripping, High-Stakes Sci-Fi Mystery That Kept Me Glued from Start to Finish
🌀 Plot ReviewThis is literally one of the best sci-fi C-dramas I’ve ever seen. And I mean ever. I only watched it because I had nothing else lined up and fate just casually dropped a masterpiece into my lap. The entire plot revolves around one single problem—and yet somehow, it’s so layered and suspenseful that I couldn't stop watching.
You know a drama’s good when even with a small cast (just one bus of people!), the mystery keeps twisting until the very end. I had so many guesses about the mastermind… and every single one was wrong. That ringtone? It's living in my head rent-free now. I'm actually scared to hear it in real life.
Also, this show made me dream about time loops. That’s how deep I was.
👥 Characters & Performances
Main Leads
No romance, but the chemistry? It was giving soul bond. The way they fought, planned, protected each other—even when disagreeing—was so compelling. Two brains, one mission, zero romantic clichés. Loved it.
Supporting Characters
Zhang Cheng: Irritating at first (sir, stop blaming the leads!), but he grew on me—especially when he believed He Yun and literally risked his life to save others. That man got redemption real fast.
Lu Di: The most underrated soft boy. Low screen time, high impact. That cat in the bag reveal?? Iconic. I thought he’d join the time loop and was lowkey disappointed he didn’t. Still a favorite for helping deal with the bomb like a champ.
The Villain(s): One word—disturbing. The true villain is that perv who started it all, but the actual bomber’s motives were… tragically understandable. That blurred line between villain and victim made the whole thing hit harder.
Acting
Top-tier. No weak links. Every actor had me convinced they were actually stuck in a time loop with a ticking bomb. Their emotions? Raw. Their delivery? Flawless. Their expressions?? I was literally mimicking their faces while watching. If they were panicking, I was panicking. I’ve never had more secondhand anxiety in my life.
💣 Visuals & Effects
The CGI? Surprisingly strong. The details—especially that slow-motion explosion and the burned body—were way too realistic. Like, disturbingly realistic. It didn’t feel like I was watching a series… it felt like a documentary filmed on the edge of doom.
🎯 Plot Twists
Chef’s kiss. I truly thought [secret, just watch it] was innocent. The disguise was flawless. That twist gave me chills and satisfaction in equal measure. It hit hard, and it hit right.
✅ Final Thoughts
This drama has everything: time loops, suspense, mystery, clever leads, and emotional payoffs. No romance, no filler, just straight-up tension and tight writing. If you’re even mildly into sci-fi or investigative thrillers, this is a MUST WATCH.
Highly Recommended.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to avoid all public transportation and suspicious ringtones for a while.

You almost forget it's a cdrama
Like everyone else said... just go watch it. The pacing, the flow, the suspense, the twists... it's all great. If it weren't for the overpraising of the Chinese police force and a few other blatant instances of rhetoric, I'd have thought it was a kdrama. And now I'm just trying to reach the minimum character limit, so you can stop reading and go watch it already.

Refreshing and captivating
Honestly didn’t know what to expect when getting into this but it was very refreshing as compared to the usual cdrama plot line the focus on the mystery on the bus and the showcase of relationships on the drama was done perfectly I’m a fan of all the actors after this, the acting was immersive I don’t think we’ll get this type of show for a while so I’ll be rewatching again. Honestly a good showWas this review helpful to you?

The most perfect drama I've seen!
This is absolutely one of my most favourite dramas by far! The characters were great, the storyline was amazing, and the overall performance was an absolute banger!I only watched this because some of my friends had watched it when it first came out, but I didn't have the heart to start it until this year (because I wasn't a cdrama fan back then). But now that I've finished it, I have to admit, I do wish I had seen it earlier.
To summarize the beginning, the FL wakes up on bus no. 45. Seemingly frantic, she yells to the bus driver that there is a pervert on the bus (AKA the ML). She ends up pulling the ML off the bus, and then leaves him without any explanation. However, she hears an explosion in the distance, and a motorcycle ends up bumping into her, which gives her a concussion. In the hospital, she sees the ML, who had debris all over his body. When the police come in to interrogate her, it is revealed that she is in a time loop, where the bus she is on is always about to explode. As expected, the police don't believe her, and then it is shown that the ML has died. The FL falls asleep, and then she wakes up on the bus again. Unexpectedly, the ML also wakes up and finds himself in the time loop. After many failed attempts to get off the bus, the two end up making plans to prevent the bus from exploding in the first place. The two progress through all the difficulties they face (getting interrogated by the police, getting stabbed, facing the truth of those behind the bombing, etc), and no matter how hard it is to find the truth, they continue to fight to protect the innocent beings on the bus and around.
I really enjoyed this drama, as it was more focused on the actual storyline and the development of the characters, and there was no side drama involved. The plot was straightforward, and kept me captivated throughout, which is why I really liked it.
I hope Restart (if it'll be confirmed to come out) will be as captivating and as awesome as Reset!

One of the best!
Truly one of the best C-Drama I have ever watched. IMHO, it also surpassed some K-Dramas. The story and the plot were concised and the time loop plots were not boring because they gave us more and new informations. Each episode also explored the different story about each passangers. It gave me suspense and made me curious that I kept wanting more. The drama managed to surprise me with the twists but it also gave a clear picture of what could really happen in real life (how onlookers are afraid to report, or how some cases were not investigated completely). All the actors did their best with their roles, but the victim's parents were the best! Bai Jing Ting and Zhao Jinmai killed in this roles! Definitely an underrated gem and worth to watch! Was this review helpful to you?
This Drama Deserves an Oscar
Let me tell you about Reset because this drama is flawless. I’m giving it a perfect 10 across the board: story, acting, production… EVERYTHING.First off, time-loop plots can get repetitive (hello, Groundhog Day vibes), but Reset makes it thrilling. Like, how do you keep audiences hooked when characters are literally reliving the same scenes? But guess what? The actors and crew nailed it. Every tiny detail stays consistent—no slip-ups, no plot holes, just pure precision. Major respect to the team for pulling that off.
And can we talk about the WRITER? Absolute genius. Who even comes up with a time-loop story this gripping? the twists hit you out of nowhere, and the climax? I WAS SHOOK. Zero boredom, all adrenaline.
Now let's talk about the cast. Bai Jingting as expected, he killed it. His performance was flawless down to the smallest details, and for Zhao Jinmai, after seeing her dedication, i have so much respect for her. Despite their 9-year age gap, their chemistry is fire. They play off each other so naturally, it’s like they’ve been acting together for years.
Shoutout to the entire crew too! y’all killed it!
If you love sci-fi with heart, Reset is a must-watch. Trust me, you’ll binge it in one sitting. 🚌⏳ (Yeah, that bus emoji will make sense later.)
Verdict: Perfect. No notes. Just watch it.
