Wasn't expecting to be so beautiful
I really loved the story and the acting of this drama. Started to watch it with no expectations and ended hooked to every single minute. Very well played by all the characters and filmed very nice, but the FL did the most amazing job. I will rewatch after sometime.It starts with a story which i was confused at the begining, but it all makes sense allong the way. In period dramas i always watch the ending first, even if i watch the 30-40-50 episodes i will not be as disappointed as if i don't know it. When i fast forwarded the last episode, i thought ahh what is this, but gave it a chance and no regrets here. I wish they could show a little bit more of their life together, how she beats the illusions and returns to reality.

Appreciation for the message
Some spoilers ahead: I really enjoyed the drama, there was always the feeling of: I'm not sure who is who and why they do things exactly - wich honestly gave of real life experience and really brought home the ending. For me it was a hard and beautiful message. I truly felt katharsis watching the last episode and having the villainess realise there are no redoes but life goes on and and ther might be a chance for repentance and change. But consequences of are actions stay.I enjoyed the actors the script and the tropes being turned on their heads. FL ending up with staff being one of them. The subtlety of the FL falling in love with the Lord. And the unexpectedness of him falling for her so fast and out of nowhere. Later on everything was explained by the ending. Truly a good drama with good idea and a true message.

second time in my life im writing a review and it coincidentally is also a time-changing drama (the first one was the bl triage AND BOYYY that was so good. different type of time messing around but yaknow)bro. this show was SOO fucking good. best drama ive watched in the past year hands down. the ACTING from my girl. the intelligence, the humor, the romance, the constant energy and pace and storytelling. brilliant. all the tropes i love done so fucking right.
if youre on the edge of watching or not, i truly recommend it.

If you crave for a slow burning romance than this series a must watch for you.I dont like cringe romance in chinese dramas which is very common.
This show is something I have seen for the first time in chinese drama.
Female lead has potrayed her character with so much versatility. I just loved her in this show.
Story is complex but very engaging to make us hold on to it till the very end.
I liked the romance arc between female lead , her guard and the lord.
Almost every character in this show has shown as grey and which is relatable to our real life. Thats why I am loving this show very much.

Definitely a breath of fresh air in a very saturated Cdramas world. Also one of the best I've watched in a long time.It's not very often for cdramas (and asian dramas in general, really) to capture the bad side of humanity and presented it as redeemable. Many dramas tend to have characters in opposite extremes of evil vs good spectrum with no place anywhere in between. This drama does not shy away from that. The main character made a mistake, realized it too late, and painstakingly tried to correct her mistakes when she got the chance. The story is very well paced with clear plot. None of the characters are 2 dimensional. Overall very engaging to watch till the end.

An engrossing, tumultuous love triangle with multi-dimensional plot and characters. Chorei copiosamente neste aqui...
Estava navegando no streaming Max (anteriormente HBOMax) e encontrei por acaso este drama no catálogo. Comecei a assistir o primeiro episódio despretensiosamente e descobri que o ator Wang Xing Yue, o Duque Su de The Double, estava no elenco. Isso automaticamente me fez querer assistir, mas foi o intrigante enredo que me fez permanecer assistindo.Uma jovem em plena perseguição é capturada, testemunha a morte de seus parentes e logo em seguida também é assassinada. Tudo isso em retaliação as armações realizadas por ela e sua família para obter um casamento vantajoso. Após morrer "naquela vida", ela volta no tempo para a noite de seu casamento e tem a oportunidade de reparar os danos causados e salvar a si e sua família.
A protagonista, que em sua "vida passada" foi a "vilã", agora trabalha para ser uma coadjuvante na vida daqueles que outrora ela tinha sido a antagonista. O foco do drama não é o romance, mas a redenção da protagonista e de sua família. Contudo, o enredo também conta com a história do amor proibido entre os protagonistas e de como esses desafortunados sofrem (e fazem a gente sofrer junto), mas para mim o romance foi totalmente colateral a trama principal, que era busca pela redenção da Hua Qian.
Ri e chorei com a Hua Qian, mas o último episódio me fez chorar copiosamente. Fiquei muito apegada a protagonista. O desejo dela se tornar uma pessoa melhor e conduzir sua família para o bom caminho, dar um "final feliz" para todos a sua volta, mesmo que o dela não fosse tão feliz, fez dela uma personagem realmente digna de ser lembrada (e a atriz entregou uma excelente performance).
Sem entrar em muitos spoilers, para não estragar a experiência de quem for assistir, gostaria de deixar registrado que tudo relacionado a personagem Hua Rong Zhou me deixou profundamente emocionada. Toda a metáfora por trás da construção daquela personagem me fez continuar chorando depois que tudo terminou. Não tenho palavras para dizer o quanto esse drama foi lindo!
Scent of Time entra para minha lista de favoritos da vida!
Obs.:Tirando a questão do enredo e do drama em sim, gostaria de fazer um breve comentário sobre a legenda no streaming Max. Fiquei bastante surpresa porque em muitos trechos a legenda parece ter sido tirada diretamente do Google tradutor. Expressões "traduzidas" ao pé dá letra sem uma relação com o contexto, inúmeras falhas nas marcações de gênero das personagens etc. Enfim, fiquei surpresa pois não esperava isso de um streaming que supostamente tem legenda profissional.

Segundas oportunidades
Sinceramente tengo tantas cosas que decir de este drama; que si intento expresalas todas, en lugar de uana reseña u opinión, terminaré escribiendo un libro completo, así que intentaré ser breve y no divagar tanto 😅En primer lugar tengo que aclarar que adore a la serie y a su protagonista, es una historia maravillosa, y también dolorosa, sin embargo, deja muchas enseñanzas que te pondrán a pensar porque incluso podrías compararla con situaciones que estes viviendo en tu vida cotidiana. Hua Qian es un personaje excelente, se notaba que la historia era suya, incluso aunque su interés amoroso era un gran hombre, siempre nos dejaron claro que la protagonista era ELLA y eso lo ame; me encanto ver su evolución a lo largo de la serie, como aprendio de sus errores e intento mejorar y ser una mejor persona a pesar de todas las adversidades que se le presentaron, y a pesar que no fueran "reales" su crecimiento personal si lo fue... Aunque siendo honesta, amaba sus dos facetas; la chica dulce, carismática, inocente y que siempre ayudaba a las personas que quería, y la mujer dura, despiadada y calculadora que no se dejaba de nadie; de verdad Hua Qian era un personaje muy complejo y con una personalidad arrolladora que siempde despertaba interés y empatia hacía ella, eras feliz cuando ella lo era y sufrias cuando ella lo hacía.
Sé que a muchas personas no les gusto el final porque decían que era triste y cruel, pero estoy en desacuerdo, aunque también sufrí muchísimo y llore un montón por mi niña preciosa; me parecio que dicho final fue bastante adecuado y realista; no tengo palabras para describirlo con exactitud, pero las palabras del Lord podrían ayudar a que se entienda mejor: "No se cambia el curso del tiempo. Cometiste un error, pero esta bien; también es normal arrepentirse. Si quieres empezar de nuevo, nunca es tarde...Sé que la realidad es muy dolorosa para ti, pero escapar no es la solución". Como bien lo dice él, somos humanos y muchas veces nos atamos a nuestros errores del pasado, pero aunque no podamos cambiarlos; podremos aprender de ellos y mejorar para tener un futuro mejor. Siempre habrá personas que intenten ponernos obstáculos y recordar todas nuestras equivocaciones; pero no debemos sucumbir ante ellos; si no esforzarnos para ser cada día mejores y así obtener una vida plena e incluso ayudar a otros a que lo logren también.
100% recomendada; van a reír, van a llorar, van a encantarse con algunos personajes y odiar a otros. La ambientación, los vestuarios, la banda sonora también son cosas preciosas que te ayudaran a disfrutar este drama, ¿Es que quien me puede negar que no se embeleso con esos openings y endings animados? Eran preciosos... Espero que muchas más personas se den la oportunidad de por si mismos adentrarse, conocer y enamorse de este bello drama, les aseguro que no se arrepentiran 😉🥰😍

Um doramão de partir qualquer coração, recomendo.
Ainda estou surpresa com o tempo que levei para finalizar este drama, já tem bastante tempo que não "devoro" uma história como essa. Estou com os sentimentos a flor da pele. Um misto de alegria com um pouquinho de tristeza, mas com a certeza que foi um tempo bem gasto e que voltarei a assistir.Não vou contar sobre a história, porque o interessante é ir desvendando as coisas, mas tenho que dizer, poucas histórias retratam tão humanamente seus personagens, não existe aquele personagem vilão ou herói, todos possuem defeitos e cometem injustiça para conseguir algo ou proteger seu ente querido, há uma pitada de egoísmo em cada personagem, mas há também aquela característica do ser humano de se arrepender e tentar fazer o melhor.
"O certo e o errado depende da perspectiva de quem vê, assim como o bem e o mal." - Mu Yao.
Gosto de prestar bastante atenção nos diálogos dos personagens e em Scent of Time os diálogos são tão bem construídos o enredo perfeitinho, mas um final tão "blah!", um típico final de um drama excelente, daquela forma que os roteiristas estão acostumados. O dorama conta com uma excelente ost, mas sou suspeita para falar, porque amo músicas do gênero, então tudo é bom. "Que lindeza a fotografia, que tratamento de cores!", as cores quentes do salão da mãe do Xi Wu são perfeitas. Os desenhos da abertura e do fechamento também são um charme a parte.
A pontuação acima já diz tudo, eu simplesmente amei o que assisti e só não dei 10 pelo pouco tempo que nosso casal passou junto. Sim eu queria mais tempo de tela com os dois; a química é pesada. Vou parar por aqui para não passar spolier.
