We need Ozempic now and keep it coming!
In the olden days, you used to be able to find a good romance with ease but now we speak of them in hush tones reserved for half-forgotten legends. What we mostly find nowadays are shows burdened with angsts and sufferings to the point of needing to put Suicide Helpline on speed dial. Ditto some of those plots are so convoluted that you feel like you are watching 3 different genres at the same time and have to keep the wiki page open for reference.Well, this Show is quite the exception. It is not perfect, and the plot can fit comfortably on the back of a small napkin, but this show will make you swoon. It is industrial grade fluff and should come with a health warning. Having said that, it is also surprisingly enjoyable.
To be honest, the first few episodes was not encouraging. I was wondering where the show is heading. It is harmless enough but also uninspired. Basically, the meet-cute comes down to the FL having a 4-year crush on her handsome boss and when she finally worked up the courage to confess, he promptly rejected her. Of course, he regretted it almost immediately, but the dice is casted.
The show really shifts up a gear when the Show flips the role and now the ML is doing all the chasing. Yes, my dear Drama Anonymous friends, it is as tropey as it sounds. What elevated the simple plot is the chemistry and visual of the OTP. The longer they interact, the better their chemistry. It is hard to pinpoint so I'll just put it down to romantic screen voodoo, c'est l'amour. BTW, they don’t shy away from skinship and there are quite a few passionate kisses. However, they (oddly) remain chaste until they got the marriage licence and then it was baby making time . . . baby!
This is further aided by the lack of any silly shenanigans involving evil second leads or non-sensical breakups. Quite to the contrary, the Show has a very positive take on romance and when relationships are made public, there are no jealous side-eyes or sly remarks. It seems the whole drama-verse is shipping them. BTW, the ML’s parents are a hoot.
There are some angst but they are due to external forces and each challenge helps to push them closer. It is a tried and tested strategy. Hey, if it's not broken . . .
If one OTP is not enough, there is a 2OTP towards the end of the show. The pairing is quite nice. Their sweet romance is easy to ship. Wait, there is more! A 3OTP literally pops into existence in the dying moment of the show which is not necessary but who’s counting. As I mentioned before, this Show is one oxytocin overload and hazard to diabetes.
Acting is good from our leads. The ML is totally in his element. The FL injects enough spunk to give her character some depth. Well, relatively speaking. Support cast earn their keeps but some do lean towards overacting. OST is nice and appropriate.
As I mentioned before, the Show is not perfect. The plot is single minded and some narrative logic are pushed aside in the name of expediency. Some might find it transparent and overly sweet. I won't argue. It might not appeal to everyone so I can only say caveat emptor. Somehow it works for me. Must be something in the water. Enjoy!

A Sweet and Breezy Workplace Romance
I’m not a huge fan of Chinese modern dramas; I mostly steer clear of them. If you are a regular reader of my blog, you will notice that I tend to lean more towards wuxia and xianxia dramas. As such, the only reason to start this one was- angst, lots of angst and more angst. Adapted from the novel “Dui Ni Bu Zhi Shi Xi Huan” (对你不止是喜欢) by Mo Yan Chuan (陌言川), the show stars Wei Zhe Ming and Huang Ri Ying in the lead roles, Tang Yu & Tang Xin. Yes, they share the same surnames, something that I have never seen in a Chinese drama before. I just started this drama on a wimp (because I had nothing else to watch) and surprisingly grew to like the characters as well as their individual stories. Technically, the show wades through different romances; but in the end, we only get two happy couples. The workplace setting, the premise of unrequited love adds a rustic touch to the story line and makes the characters even more intriguing. Let’s sit down and talk about my favorite moments in this sublime romance!Read the complete article here-

Sweet & cute romantic series with Miles Wei
PLOT: FL, author and screenwriter, had a crush on her boss, ML, for 4 years. He asked her for help in courting her best friend, in vain, since she had just gotten married. The FL then decides to confess to the ML, who rejects her quite brutally. She resigns and goes to work on the script for her movie. The ML then realizes how indispensable she is to him and decides to court her.PROS:
+ Miles Wei is ML, handsome, as always.
+ The series is less prudish than usual, and the viewer can see to a lot of kisses and great chemistry in the CL.
+ An endearing CL2, with a sweet romance and convincing visuals.
+ No break-up, no unnecessary love triangle.
+ loving and encouraging families.
CONS:
- The part where the FL refuses to accept the ML (whom she loves) because she was hurt and she is not convinced of his sincerity, is way too long!!
- The final Happy Ending for everyone is a bit simplistic: The CL2 makes their relationship public, without consequences. The ML puts all his assets in his wife's name. The 2 single people who remain, will probably form a couple, etc.
Nice, cute series, but not memorable.

+ No break-up, no unecessary love triangle.
+ des familles aimantes et encourageantes.
CONS:

Adorable a rabiar!
Mucha paciencia.
Muy recomendable.

( Last Update) Basically A Guilt Love Drama with Side Character becoming Main Lead
I had hope for this but after watch just 3 episode i can see that they fumble on the idea The ML so far checks all the box for me but the female lead on the other hand i like that she has feeling for him but after the confession and she didn't realizing the mood change after she confessed had me like wow not we know most drama when the female is direct it would be cool but am sorry if a guy did what she did the drama would be flamed now at episode she mostly let her feelings get in the way of logic she just assume that her Novel gonna get a movie adaptation so quick but fail to realize that she has be in the industry 4+ years with him and learn nothing and now were introduce to the 2nd lead and tbh its pointless this drama having 24 episode seems like a bunch of misunderstanding and cliche nonsense gonna happen but for now am only continuing because i have nothing else to watch and i had to create an account cause i honestly thought that this would be a mature modern love drama but i a;; got was high school children in adults body only thing i enjoy is the music and thats sad .....I honestly feel like i know the ending of my review title and its kinda sad that i have to name it that but i hope this drama proves me wrong in the end cause its sad being right and i will spoil my last review after episode 24 gonna be Guilt Love At its best
Its not even the cast fault i was harsh even thoe the sister voice was slightly annoying it became better i don't know how.... the male i understand the concept and after hearing his side i won't lie that's where my name for the last review came from i honestly would have preferred him not chasing her cause he has principle but ohhh boy was i so wrong just like a previous drama i watched this is your typical girl likes guy for years but she doesn't have a reason the way she confessed to me was heart breaking.... some may say its honest but when he asked again it just felt wrong... she got rejected left the company because of that and the plot basically revolves around her novel cause thats the only reason he has any contact with her but haha a next curve ball he likes all of a sudden without no development and all we got was that she unique and different Bro come on how for a character that is said or portray to be straightforward she falls in this regard and don't the pointless jealous scene of ohh she going on a blind date am jealous gotta ruin it this drama honestly if i wasn't committed i would have dropped this since i heard her confession she never consider his feelings just like he said in the elevator and lets be fair if she was like this in any other drama as the childhood friend she would lose to a next female lead that consider his feelings and be honest with him but lets hope that My last review after episode 24 don't be Guilt love at its best cause By Drama logic as long as there are good look with good visual lets forget the story aspect
I Now realize my last review gonna be so sad this Is just Guilt until you love me and its sad but at the same time maybe its not a serious drama and probably just a bubbly one with no seriousness but this drama made me question if we Main Lead truly deserve each other at this point the Female lead is a character with a support character plot put into a main lead role truly sad
Damn i cant believe i was write i know some people gonna give this a high rating because they wont think of the story and just be like awww she fell first and fell harder but damn predicting the ending and everything was sad i was not even surprise this is basically a guilt love Drama with Side Character becoming Main Lead

Insufferable series other than the 2nd lead.
I have soooo many complaints with this one. It felt like it was cringey Wattpad story. Who proposes someone by saying that I like that you are handsome and rich so I want to date you and then proceeds to forcibly kiss the other party. This is what the FL did to the ML, this is like an assault. The FL was so creepy, having a wall full of MLs pics, God she was a stalker. While I may blame the FL the ML was also the same. The ML too kissed the FL forcibly and he bought a house right next to hers to be with her. It was like there were 2 red flags and both found each other. The FL thought of herself so highly like she had achieved so much in her life and treating the ML like he was a loser. I love WZM, the ML and even he wasnt a saving grace for me for this series. And don't get me started on the FL's bun😭 I get that buns are effective while working but she could have changed the hairstyle for at least the wedding photos. The only good thing about this series was DD and Lu. They both had a more amazing romance storyline the leads. Overall, I need the time that I spent watching these 24 eps back. I could have rewatched FIYS 🤷♀️Was this review helpful to you?

Not that great ;(
It started off quite interesting, with FL confessing and giving ML a strong forced kiss. She liked him, but he rejected her. Up to this point, the storyline was quite interesting and I liked the FL’s strong character. After rejecting her, he realised he also had feelings for her (which took him quite long to admit). Then he started pursuing her like a puppy, and she kept rejecting him, being hot & cold. This is where it starts to get annoying. Then finally when they get together, it gets boringgg. The focus then shifts to the 2nd couple which are very boring.
So it’s just a 6/10 for me. Last few episodes were dull, I was just FF to complete it :(

Creepy, stalker, bordering on assault relationship- a toxic train wreck
I really liked the cast, so it was hard to watch them portray such a horrible relationship. She confesses her love him, he turns her down over a misunderstanding. She leaves and then he decides to pursue her. It SHOULD be a sweet story, but it’s awful. Both characters (at different times) force a one-sided, unwelcome, almost violent kiss on the other. He chases her down at work, interferes with her job, is jealous of EVERYONE, repeatedly grabs her by the arm and drags her around, etc. He seems much more interested in possessing her than in “wooing” her. It’s difficult to watch. I’d have stopped watching if not for the side story. Yang and Zhang present a much more enjoyable story, and they really are so sweet together.
The story between DingDing and Huo starts off intriguing, but is left a little too vague. The story seemed to skip over some key points that would have tied it together.
Then the last couple of episodes were very rushed and lacked any story at all. They seemed more of an afterthought because the obligatory “happily ever after” scenes hadn’t happened yet.
Don’t waste your time.

Greenest of the green flag drama
Frustrated by the cliches in chinese dramas the author had written opposite to all the red flags in typical chinese dramas… this is super fluffly heart fluttering in and out…The characters including mail leads and all other characters….💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜please watch if you want to experience a rom-com💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Mid with toxic behaviour
The female lead is so toxic, shes trying so hard to force the ML to like her. I couldn’t get through it….Was this review helpful to you?

Fun plot and amazing leads
The beginning of the show was excellent, there was amazing chemistry between the main leads and it had me on the edge of my seat. I ended up giving it a 7/10 because around the second half, it slowed down a little and I found myself becoming bored with the lead couple. The second couple is what kept me watching until the end.I personally wouldn't re-watch this show although I think it was a good watch and I would recommend it to others as something light-hearted and simple.
