Different from the original trailer!

I think most of us who were disappointed are more than likely only disappointed because the show was originally received to be a darker romance, I know I was really surprised at Ramil's personality in comparison to how he was portrayed in the original trailer. I also know that this is probably due to the project being shuffled from WabiSabi to GMMTV.

I don't think it deserves as much hate as its gotten tho. The ending did feel a little rushed to me, and I was not expecting--after all of the emphasis on family--for Punn to just go live the rest of his forever in the very painting he released Ramil from, and that Pokpong would just let it happen. Personally I was a little bummed about the fighting scenes--especially at the end--but theres no doubt that the casting was well done, I think everyone fit their piece. The ending of the hunters really felt lack luster--but it was kinda nice that they got to return to being regular humans again instead of the constant threat of a supernatural predator (except i was really confused about all of the vampires being released from having to serve a hierarchal family and simply being trusted not to kill/harm anyone since that was very much at minimum hinted at prior to Methas taking over)

What really saved it for me was how open ended it was at the end with Methas taking over and Junior showing up as Moon Dal; hinting at a potential sequel with a vampireXwerewolf plot instead of a vampireXhunter one. I love Junior and Mark, and tbh Mark showed a personality I don't think we have seen in any character he's played which was really refreshing--we love actors with range~

I think there is potential if they decide to stick with the idea of a sequel, all in all a fun series--my only complaint is that I was expecting a darker/more serious series after we got the romcom from My Golden Blood.

A great plot and acting but needed to be more intense and dark

You know when you see a drama, you like it, like the acting, storyline, cinematography but you feel like there's something missing that doesn't make it a 100? This is exactly what has happened with Revamp.

I enjoyed the idea of the plot and the progression so much and this is coming from someone who is not a very big fan of fantasy and vampires to be specific so for me to not drop the series in the middle means it was well done. The characters had great development. The redemption arcs weren't well executed but I blame the lack of 2 more episodes. That comes to my next point of what could have made it better. It needed to be more intense. The beginning few episodes didn't show much and the story started picking the pace after the big secret was revealed. The screenwriter and director needed to keep in mind that this is different from normal romance genre and they needed to add more strong impressions of the idea of vampire in the story.

Cinematography wise this is chef kiss. Probably one of the finest GMMTV has ever put. They had good budget and it was used well. I hoped the little sounds on every movement were not added.

Acting wise this was mind blowing. The intense stares and emotional havocs that BounPrem brought in the series is amazing. Aun kept on surprising me. Stamp with his few experiences showcased great skill. Kapook and Kay as usual the masters of acting. The two actors who truly made me stunned were Mark and Barcode both showcasing great versatility, acting skills and embracing their characters to the core. A great cast indeed.

All in all the show was enjoyable. If it wasn't a vampire show it would have received more praise but as it is a vampire show it needed some more dimensions of fantasy, darkness and intensity. I appreciate the crew and cast for taking up a new challenge without prior experience to this genre. It wasn't bad at all and definitely worth trying.

could've been great

I had trust in GMMTV but honestly since it wasn't one of their big pairings I feel like they got shafted? The plot had so much potential and I loved the vampire concept but so much was either dragged out or rushed unnecessarily. Up until around episode 7 the pacing was okay, but the last 3 episodes felt like a joke. Why was the final episode only 35 minutes in length? Why was it only given 10 episodes when there was so much to cover? BounPrem have great acting abilities. UWMA, Between Us, and Zomvivor showed this. Given a good script and pacing they could do so much. And then you see the GMMTV most popular ships getting adequate shows (EM, OG, GF, etc). I wasn't as disappointed as I was with the heart killers... my firstkhao deserved better than whatever that trainwreck was... but I'm tired of seeing GMMTV pump out shit from a butt for no reason other than quick cash grabs. Why do their straight shows get such care and the queer ones only get good treatment once in a blue moon? I feel like I was betrayed lol. When I saw GMMTV was taking the project over from WabiSabi I was excited for a better budget and better opportunities, but now I wish WabiSabi kept it. They would have had less budget, but they have better script writing abilities. Anyways...

Fast pace but good story

First of all, Ramil is the most adorable vampire. I also liked how the vampires weren't traditional and they didn't waste time spoonfeeding us that fact. I did feel like the pace was really fast, BUT the story was good and all the pieces for drawn out drama were certainly there - they just didn't take that route. I appreciate not dwelling through hurt feelings, misunderstandings, and betrayals... That said, sure, there was pacing of certain plot points that I do wish they took time to dive into.

When will they get it right .....

This is my main peeve about this show and by extension Gmmtv. Truthfully, BounPrem gets automatic grace just because they are BounPrem. Their differences are clear but the pairing is warm, loving, protective and true. In their pairing, I've never felt one being stifled or controlled by the other. So I've patiently waited to see them shine again. I'll be frank. I loved them until I needed the ff button. It's not them. It's the script, bad acting by some and poor production. The premise of a human unlocking a vampire trapped in a painting who comes back to gather his clan, to live peacefully among humans, who on the other hand, are hungry to eliminate them due to revenge. Finding love along the way is the bonus. I'm not saying the whole was bad, but the bad was evident.

The script was terrible. Lines being repeated as fillers to elongate a series. The conversations were banal and very unimaginative. No clear purpose other than Ramil has to spend eternity with Pun. Ramil's responsibility as the leader is lost to him as he dives head first into his relationship with Pun. How does that even happen? In all species self preservation is supreme. Here, he is forced to do what should have been an innate response. Jett commands a band to attack them. So where is Ramil's mind reading abilities? Why are humans allowed to have such a devastating effect on vampires? Why did Ramil have strength to shut Pun out for the night when he was at his weakest but the next morning, go on a mini marathon to catch Pun, who was right outside the opened door? The fact that a human had the speed on two occasions to run away from a vampire threatens all that was previously known. Ciar had the ability to see through a crow and project multiple crows but still got beat.

The acting was solid from a few but blatantly bad at times. Boun clueless moments were cute but only for a time. Prem drew heavily on his introverted nature. Mark and Aun delivered. Kay gave me flashbacks of Ken of HSF. One dimensional. Barcode was ok but didn't shine. Stamp had moments of really good and then not. Dunk, no comment. The twins were as they always are, just fillers.

Reflecting on the overall vibe of the series, it was ok. Better would have been a more cohesive script, consistent tone and more workshops to enhance the acting and the fighting scenes. My disappointment stems from them using this as their come back vehicle. The genre was good, the production was not so good. My disappointment comes from Gmmtv greenlighting scripts that are generic with some to the point of torturous. It is because we, the viewers, have love for the actors, that we keep coming back. Maybe, it's time to change. BounPrem, I still love you.

Not bad but I expected more of a dark vibes. I know it's from New so I shouldn't have expected a dark vibes, but why not...

It was good. Not so cringe for a vampire show. It was silly and Fun
Ramil is cute for one of the most dangerous vampire

And thanks Revamp for Ciar, he is my favorite character.

I'm watching on loop Elise x Ciize scene. It was so gooood please

REVAMP DOES NOT DESERVE THE HATE IT GETS! PLEASE GIVE IT A CHANCE

First of all, this show is getting hatred way more than it deserves, that's why I'm giving it a 10/10. (People are really rating it way below than it deserves)
Ket's break down various aspects of the show and the criticisms it is getting-
One of the biggest hates it got was from the final trailer- Many people didn't even give it a chance after watching it claiming it wasn't as "dark" as the initial pilots. Even thought that might be a bit true, a 3-minute trailer IS NEVER going to tell you what a 10 EPISODE SERIES has to unravel. Way to be prejudiced, also the greatest eg. of a BANDWAGON EFFECT (where people blindly follow something coz many other people do it)
Next hate being- IT HAS COMEDY. Well Boun has always been clear that it wouldn't be 100% dark and serious, he aims at playing a goofy, cute and lovable vampire, but who is also serious and responsible when he is needed to be.
Another pattern that I noticed is people dropping it after 2-3 eps (A close friend of mine did it as well). Won't you give a show a chance for the story to unravel? It got so good from ep 4 and some eps like 4,6,8 and 9 truly stood out in every sense, too bad that you don't get to watch it coz you were too busy being prejudiced.
And I can't believe some people actually called Prem's acting lifeless, Boun's acting cringe and that they have no chemistry. Check out Prem's work in MuTeLuv and let's see if you still dare to call his acting "lifeless" .They have been a CP for 7 years and have been working in this industry with zero acting skills; yeah, right. Think before you bluff.
That's the hate comments I came across.
Now let's talk about how the show was, for me.
1) Story/Plot- 10/10
As a novel reader, they did 95% justice to the novel and I'm glad that they barely took out anything from it. The fantasy and sci-fi aspects of it were so deep and mind-blowing. The romance and all the other emotions are also well-written, the story was perfect in my eyes.
2) Acting- They did a pretty good job at this as well. Especially ep 6 blew my mind, it's evident that they've truly given it their all. I would give it 9/10
3) Cinematography and technicalities like CGI- The location and some camerawork were pretty impressive, and the CGI was very decent, compared to a lot of other GMM shows. Some of the locations and sets were truly stunning, like Greenmoore and Punn's antique shop. 9/10
4) OSTs+BGMs- PERFECTION. 1000000/10 Boun and Prem and GREAT singers and they proved it once again. I also really really love the BGMs of this show, especially the eng song that was played in ep 4 (while ramil hugs punn)+ the song when they slow dance
5) Direction- This is a bit controversial. This is the reason why REVAMP is getting all the hate that it is getting. It is a bit all over the place; not balanced out. I've never been a fan of N8w's work, only exception being a very few works (mainly because it has a good cast it is his field of expertise)- yeah, he is suited for ensemble cast uni-romance, that is his usual and comfortable area of work- his forte. He openly admitted that he wouldn't take on a project like this as it was too much for him- way to be unprofessional; at least he could have handed it over to some other director if he wasn't really up for it. In the book, the romance, fantasy, action, emotions, everything is well-balanced but when it was executed, they rushed the fantasy aspects of it and gave a lot of screentime for lesser important stuff. It was not well-balanced. The first ep was pretty well-made, but then it dropped a bit- there wasn't much to be invested abt in ep 2 and 3- this is the reason why 1/3rd of the people dropped it after 2nd or 3rd ep. But it REALLY picked up from the 4th and honestly got a LOT BETTER, tbh better with EVERY EPISODE. But they rushed the important stuff towards the end, especially the final battle, which could have been given way more imp, was rushed and felt like the director did it for the sake of doing it. The last ep was only around 30 minutes.
It is unfortunate how the lack of a good direction impacted a 3-4 years long project, moreover P'boun's biggest dream and both BounPrem's hardwork not get the praise they deserve, instead is accumulating unwanted and unnecessary hate.
PLEASE GIVE THIS SHOW A CHANCE, YOU WON'T REGRET IT.
In my eyes, the show deserves 8/10, but BounPrem's effort and hard work deserves 1000000000/10
If you read until here, I hope you were convinced to give it a chance, Thank you <3

Revamp the Undead Story needs a revamp

[For episodes 1-9 ONLY]

To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. This didn’t feel like a vampire show. Maybe my standards are too high as a long-time fan of “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals,” but I have no clue why the production team thought this was passable. Were the director, producer, and editors asleep during production? I wanted to love this series. I gave this serie grace because vampires aren’t a thing in Thailand, but at this point, nine episodes in, I’m just justifying a bad vampire show. I powered through “Until We Meet Again”, put up with “Between Us”, and checked out “Even Sun” because I genuinely liked BounPrem, although they don’t have the strongest chemistry; they’re genuinely healthy friends off-screen. I even put “My Golden Blood” on hold because I wanted BounPrem’s series to be the first vampire BL for me. What a shame that it’s not living up to my expectations and standards.

There are three major offenders in this series that I want to explore (not in any particular order).

1. The creative, or rather, UNcreative choices. The beauty about vampire fantasy is that one can get crazy with it and it wouldn’t be cringey, but appreciated, but this show did not take advantage of that. The ‘vampiric’ theme was almost nonexistent. The locations were very bright, both in lighting and color, and not accommodating to the traditional vampire ways. The CGI was not impressive, but not overly ludicrous. The camera angles were a huge, HUGE problem. There was a lack of facial shots and lots of unnecessary body shots. Some shots are also way too long, and some too short. Why do I have to watch vampires with speed powers walk from the door to a couch and have a seat? Not once but multiple times? I admit the hallway with the mirror shot was smart because you can’t see the vampires' reflections, but abusing that hallway for effect was not it. The music usage at times was criminal! For a vampire series, I expected slow motion, speed ups, great sound effects–spoiler alert, there were none. Gun sliding across the floor? Silence. Mr. Ramil’s grand entrance in front of his kind? Boring. Mekhin storming into Ciar’s place as Ciar gave an inspirational speech? Awkward.

2. The dry acting. The flat characters. The poor character development. The script. Okay, that’s four offenders in one, but it’s because this series is character-driven. The thing about character-driven shows is that if your characters aren’t likable and/or too weak to carry a strong storyline with a bad script on the side, then your show is basically f**ked. When I say I despised the lead characters, I despised them. Ramil and Punn are incredibly selfish and too attached at the hip. I hated Ramil so much when he showed up on the same night Punn was having his younger brother, Pokpong, sleep at his place. Mind you, Pokpong has been begging to move back in with Punn, and we couldn’t even enjoy their brotherly moments because Ramil had to show up and ruin it for me. I was looking forward to whether Pokpong would wake up before Punn’s alarm or not! And why wasn’t Ramil the one cleaning up the cake he had made fall so that Punn and Pokpong could have a heart-to-heart chat in another room? Ramil was way too nosy throughout the whole series, and it bugged me. If he weren’t good-looking, some would realize he’s controlling. Seriously, Punn can’t breathe without Ramil breathing down his neck every 5 minutes they’re on screen together. I don’t know if BounPrem was forced to follow the script and producer/director's directions, but the acting was way too dry and unnatural. I couldn’t feel any genuine love but constant lust.
Going down the cast list:
- My favorite character from the cast would be Barcode. Ciar had that ‘vampire’ feel, his build, and his deep voice balanced out the other characters’ softer voice colors. I love that Ciar accepts his vampire life, makes the most out of it, and has built a little kingdom for himself. Gotta admit, I didn’t love Barcode in “KinnPorsche” but he’s come a long way and I hope to see him star in bigger, better roles.
- AJ & JJ: The twins who played Paul and Caster never disappoint. Paul and Caster kept the Hunters’ side fun and actually made me believe they are real and long-time hunters.
- Kay & Kapook: Honestly, if I have to root for a team, I’m Team Hunter all the way. I love that Jett and Elise were committed to their cause and managed to wipe out so many pure blood vampires. I called it that Elise was going to chicken out first and be the one to get to Jett, but I didn’t expect Jett to take a pillow to Father Dracul so early. The Hunters were a constant reminder that this was a vampire show because the vampires weren’t doing that.
- Aun & Stamp: I don’t know if I’m in support of Mekhin and Pokpong being in a romantic relationship. I do like them as friends and sort of like a mentor and mentee, though.
- Mark Ji: Methas started strong but became background fodder quickly. He quietly dug around, be it Mr. Ramil’s orders or not. Methas seemed to be the only one who took ‘lives at stake’ seriously. He valued Mr. Ramil’s life and time more than Mr. Ramil.
- Prem: Where do I start… I know Prem speaks in a monotone, but when that carries over to acting, it flattens his characters’ personalities. Off the top of my head, there was nothing I liked or thought was remotely good about Punn. He’s the average Joe who happens to capture a vampire leader’s Infatuation. I assumed from the beginning that he was the mysterious vampire hunter, but nothing amazing came out of it. The traitor who sided with the vampires yet can’t give them any solid information about the Hunters. And when they finally needed crucial information from him, he couldn’t remember what the priest who owned the orphanage looked like because he was ‘too young’? That was 10 years ago? He was clearly 16-17? There was no erasing of his memories since then either? He’s also not the best or good big brother that Mekhin made him out to be, either, especially not with Mr. Ramil around.
- And that leads to my biggest beef with Revamp’s main character, Mr. Ramil. This guy has NO good leadership qualities. He’s not responsible. He’s not influential. He lacks communication skills. He can’t motivate a team to save his reputation. He doesn’t care about his so-called ‘family’, Methas and Mekhin like to think and give him credit for it, but I have yet to see it. At one point, he said his minions were like his brothers, his family, then later on, he was surprised when Punn called one of them his brother. Like bro… Being child-like at times can be cute, but Ramil is child-like at the most random and annoying times. There’s a time and place for everything, but this guy moves at his own slow pace despite the danger around him and his loved ones. Ramil doesn’t care about vampires. When Punn tried to save ONLY him from the Hunters and didn’t care about the other vampires, Ramil was appreciative of Punn rather than being angry that Punn knew what was coming and only tried to save Ramil. Ramil also has a rule about not killing humans, but has not expressed a valid reason why they shouldn’t (even I had to come up with reasons for him). I’m annoyed that his minions, especially Methas, continue to treat Ramil like he’s been through countless wars for them and is the brightest mind of the century-or the previous century, when he was free. It was supposedly a big deal that Mr. Ramil got his powers back from his minions (which didn’t make sense? Did that mean they are weaker now without his powers but already had the same powers as him?) and was re-appointed as the leader to protect the vampires, BUT on the day he was re-appointed, most if not all the vampires at his inauguration were killed. He took a few bullets, sent unharmed hunters home, and then he went into hiding despite his kind being in trouble. If that’s the best the leader of a whole bloodline of vampires can do, then hell…no wonder the Hunters were wiping them out left and right and abroad too. I signed up for ACTION action, but the most action I got was from the bedroom. Man, Ramil sucks.

3. The storyline is a mess. And I’m too angry with episode 9 to address the mess in the earlier episodes. So in episode 9, Ramil goes into Punn’s mind to see Punn’s memories. For about 10 minutes of screentime, Ramil fooled around and visited Punn’s more recent memories of him. To be honest, I skipped them because once again, it’s all about Ramil and Punn and no one else. Finally, we get to the important and point of Ramil entering Punn's memory; Punn’s memory of the incident at the orphanage. Why did Punn have to tell Ramil he’ll be his present self..? Wouldn’t Ramil have seen this before, or is this his first time using his past-memories-mind-reading power? And Mr. Ramil was able to interfere with Punn’s memories from the past…? Not just interfere but caused it? While he was trapped in the painting? I have many questions, and I doubt they’ll be answered.

I’m sure I’ve forgotten a thing or two, but this has already taken up three hours of my time.

For a series I wanted to enjoy, I found myself complaining every 5 minutes, fast-forwarding every 10 minutes, and pausing every 20 minutes. Since we’re getting the ultimate vampire showdown in the last episode, I hope to see some better effects. All in all, episodes 1-9 get a 3.5 from me. Hopefully, the final episode can take it to a 4. Or will it knock it down to a 3? Who knows, we’ll see.
-----------------------------------------------------------
[UPDATE - FINAL EPISODE]
So the final episode was about 34 minutes total of screentime without the 'previously', intro, outro, and behind the scenes. I've dropped my 3.5 to a 3 because the ending was not only bad but ridiculous. The action was straight out of a comic novel and cringey as f**k. I've said this before and multiple times, but I'll say it again. GMMTV needs to stop with the guns. The short range, gun-grabbing, and similarly to "Home School", that series had a few extra episodes just because the bad guy was armed even when he was heavily outnumbered. This one was the same; Jett/Feratu having a gun made a bunch of vampires reluctant to attack. The action was clearly 'choreographed,' and the fact that the special effects team did no work on it tells me that no one really did care. How did the director/producer, production team, watch the draft version of this and collectively agree that it was fine the way it is? It doesn't need special effects for a vampire series? Vampires fight slowly? They can't be bothered to make the final and biggest fight at least entertaining??? How was Feratu able to choke Punn as long as he did in front of Ramil? Ramil 180 punching Feratu non-stop because he couldn't control Feratu was so weird, knowing that's Jett's body and Punn already saying Jett is like Punn's family—super odd moment. The first thing Ramil and Punn did after such a traumatizing moment is...kiss? Do they even care about those they call family??? For a century-old vampire, I'm surprised Ramli is so twitchy and more scared of what was happening than to be in control, be fearless, and try to handle it with tact. Without Ramil's gang, the dude wouldn't last in any 1v1. For the life of me, I can't wrap my head around how Ramil was worthy to lead vampires. Besides being the oldest and having gotten lucky with his minions, he's unreliable.

Ramil passing the throne to Methas so he could go live off with Punn in a timeless space is a selfish move, but at this point, it's not surprising anymore. They've always prioritized their love and lust; everyone else came second or not at all. Punn leaving his business to Pokong, who has no repair skills, is crazy to me. Like, what is the hurry? Maybe wait until Pokpong finishes school, then teach him a few things before riding into the sunset with Ramil. On the surface, Methas saying he'll free vampires sounds nice, but is that really a good idea? Under Ramil's rule, they couldn't 'kill' humans despite humans being their main source of food. If you let them run wild, wouldn't they go on killing sprees...?
I thought only Ramil preferred human food, but for a bunch of vampires, they sure love their human food.
This show has been a nightmare, and even the behind-the-scenes seems boring and stiff. I can't imagine this series was fun to film. Anyways, I'm done talking about Revamp.

my dissappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined

its my fault that i had "expectations" for this, i went in expecting a good vampire drama but ended up with a half baked WTF mess ladden with poor acting ,paper thin plot and piss poor action choreography.
I m sorry but there is absolutely nothing redeemable here. And GMMTV should be fined for wasting talents like Barcode and Mark.
The story is underdeveloped, the actors are underutilised, the romanctic bgm is overutilised and the action choreo is absymally bad. I mean why even produce it in the first place, this should have been stuck in development hell for eternity. the person who greenlit should have been sealed in the same painting as Ramil.

DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH DATA I WASTED WATCHING THIS SLOP????

Data packs are expensive in my country man..... I could’ve watched cat videos in peace instead of this emotional trauma in 1080p.

EP 7 review - overall actually GOOD

Sort of disclaimer (?): I’ve seen all the hate being thrown to this series and, honestly, I don’t really get it. I kind of consider myself a BL veteran as I’ve been watching bls for basically a decade now (my roots lie in anime and evolved through different kinds and countries, eventually discovering Thailand with Sotus).
What I think is really important to consider when you’re watching a bl is the company behind it. When you say that real good/masterpiece series are Kinnporsche or ITTSAY you’re right BUT, you’re talking about companies that care about “quality”. Most of the companies in the bl industry work for quality, not quantity.
GMMTV is not one of these. GMM works for quantity, not quality. They own their own TV channel, so they constantly need new content. That means they usually work on a project for about three months, then move on to the next one. They make big money, sure, but that money gets split into much smaller budgets across many series.Having knowledge of each company’s kind of “philosophy” and rulebook you know what you’re gonna get yourself into with a serie. You can’t compare Revamp with Khemjira (just an example as it’s my current obsession and has officially become my fav serie) as they come from different companies that have different ways of working. You can compare Revamp to My Golden Blood.

Revamp is a serie that has been on the works for a long time and is one of the very few first attempts at supernatural. Considering GMM’s usual budgeting and their ever-present dramatic elements, Revamp is actually a good series. It started off a bit cringey but evolved and developed, and I feel like saying it’s actually good. There surely is an evolution in the way vampire mythology is treated and the supernatural elements are portrayed compared to My Golden Blood.
All of my considerations are framed within the GMMTV universe and way of working.

That being said, THIS EPISODE LEFT ME SPEECHLESS…. NATACHAI MY BRO WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE????

Things I appreciated of this episode (and generally speaking of the series):
- There is barely any unnecessary drama between the main couple. I appreciate this more mature take on relationship-development. It’s pretty embryonal as in different moments it can appear as more chaotic and fast-evolving but I see the evolution gmmtv is going through. Bonus points for the detail of white hair on the keychain plushie that matches Ramil’s (surely the series merch).
- The whole ‘secret estranged half-brother’ storyline really surprised me. I was expecting there to be something like that ever since the first episode, as one of the details I first noticed was the erased name in the family book. I didn’t expect for it to come out now, I even sort of put it to the side thinking that it wouldn’t happen. Since it hadn’t been hinted at after that first book frame, I got to think it was Methas who caused the tragedy at the orphanage. I thought he might have had a rough time whilst his beloved vampiric Master was in the painting and ended up losing control. That, to me, justified his rigid, rule-obsessed nature.
So about Dracul, at first I thought his appearance was too sudden and thrown out too late but after thinking about it, it actually makes sense. Dracul represents videogame’s final boss. He’s the last level to play, the final battle. It’s the missing piece that connects all the dots and will be the key piece to ending most of the storylines/plot-lines open. This is what you call a well-made plot twist.
I was surprised it’s actually Dunk, as I never heard anything regarding him being casted but I might have been living under a shell during the time Revamp was in the works.

Taking into consideration everything I said at the start of this very long review, one thing I didn’t appreciate today and haven’t really understood throughout the serie is the lack of consistency in the whole vampiric mythology/rules. Today I asked myself how is it possible for Ramil to be born a vampire if they -by nature- are basically dead? Their biology shouldn’t make them able to reproduce. The rules of this specific vampiric universe have not been stated clearly. I understand the whole supernatural universes are a new central-theme for gmmtv as they have used the elements before but not as main plot-lines, but still these are details that the viewer should be provided with first thing. There’s always room for improvement though, so thumbs up!

Finally, here’s what I’m “calling” (as me and my bestie say, meaning what I think will happen):
- Dracul either kills or hurts Jett in the final battle. I think Jett will turn against him once realized the truth and they will mostly all fight against Dracul. Why is he (my) first designated to die? He doesn’t have room for a redemption arc. It wouldn’t really makes sense for him to fight the final boss, say sorry and go home promising to be good and forget the past. Death fits his character more.
- For as much as I wish Ciar ends up with Mekhin, he dies in the final battle. Mostly for the same reason as Jett. He doesn’t have any room for ‘redemption’. After a whole century living the way he did, he has his family back and he cares about them but he is alone. He doesn’t have any special bond and is actually a minor!enemy like character. He might be redemption himself upon death by saving Mekhin (I’m still sailing yes.), Ramil or even Punn, or completely oppositely he might die while trying to kill Pokpong (don’t ask me why but I had a feel about this).
- I’m 99% sure we’re gonna get a happy ending for the main couple but I always leave the benefit of doubt. That 1% is mostly related to the fact that I don’t have any clues on how the whole ‘immortality VS mortality’ thing will be handled.

I shouldn't be mad...

I willingly watched this one, no one forced me, I knew it was going to be garbage but I wanted to watch Boun and Prem again, but, Why am I so mad when it indeed turn out to be garbage? I truly cannot answer that.

Maybe because I did enjoy the first 2 episodes, I thought "Oh! so it's a parody? How much fun!...slowly to realize they meant it they meant this, whatever this disaster is to be serious. Is it comedy? Is it romance?Action? I sure even the writters can't tell. I had had it by episode 6 and started skipping scenes like crazy because I really did want to see it through, but I just can't there's no saving it and I couldn't possibly care less how it ends.

No judgment on those who did like it though.
