THOMAS!

Fluff, fluff and fluff filled with so much fillers and sprinkled with a few unneeded NC17 scenes.

This is hard to write - there was a lot of hype and i must confess that i fell inlove with the series in its first few episodes that i kinda overlooked all its shortcomings. It has all the elements of a Domundi series - extra rich leading men paired with very young (immature) boys; the extra super cute boys; and the almost obligatory sex scenes. However, through all the sheen and all the beautiful faces, it is an overstretched storytelling aimed to check all the BL boxes and offers nothing really new.

First let me discuss the good things i loved:
1. The very good looking cast - Thomas, o Thomas, where have you been hiding all this time (he actually caught my attention in that ill-fated The Middleman's Love Story but since he was just almost just an extra there i immediately forgot about him) - this series has poised him to be a star. Kong is just adorable. Do i need to mention how cute Por and TeeTee are? And of course Save ang AuAu.
2. Marakot's Babe!
3. If you put your critical thinking hat off, this show can be really enjoyable - Its just light and easy series to watch. And oh, have i mentioned Thomas?

Now the things that i find a little eyerolling:
1. Teerak is just too bubbly of a character for me - almost like he is living in his own Glinda bubble. This very child-like behavior also makes me think that the guy is not ready for a mature relationship -he is like a 13 year old boy wanting to be an adult all of
a sudden. The kiss-me-on-the-hair antic is ok at the beginning but it turned too cringy and borderlined overacting - imagine having a college dude acting like that in real lfe - it can be really really annoying. Plus, that fake girlfriend angle, can you really imagine Teerak having a girlfriend - the dude is a walking flower dashed with a few drops of mist and with its own ray of sunshine. THe girlfriend angle IS SO UNNECESSARY.
2. Can somebody please tell these recent wave of writers that a teenage-looking boy isnt believable as ultra successful CEOs or high level executives? They just arent. Even if you are from a rich family, it takes a certain pedigree and maturity to actually run a company. Muenfah is still just a baby. Somebody in Domundi has a fetish for hot looking young CEOs, i get the appeal, but a line has to be drawn somewhere - and they didnt have to use the same character type in every show.
3. Mike is too good for this role and too out of place in this series - im sorry to say but he looks too old to portray a college student next to the other members of the cast.
4. The school project exhibition. After making Muenfah an impossibly young college student/business owner the series came up with a story line for Teerak that he and his friends are suposed to present (and exhibit) their big big project - only to come up with Teerak's strawberry eating fox figurines in that snow-filled forest (which by the way they didnt even bother to make a snowy background), Joy's crochet keychains, and Punlee's silkscreen printed shirts. Really? They are college stidents and thats all they can come up with? And they passed with flying colors? Muenfah is closing big business deals and thats the arc you come up with for Teerak?
5. With the materials and footage that they had (and lack thereof) they could have compressed it to an 8-episode series and it will still be an enjoyable compact series. If they really needed to make it a 12-episode series they could have elevated the 2 other pairs to secondary lead status because for heavens sake they already casted 3 (or 4) very good looking pairs but did not utilize them all properly. I would have loved to see more of Real-Hia, Babe-Dom, and my babies Punlee-Klaijai (i could have used more of that flirting scene at the coffee shop).

Overall, its an easy series to watch. I would love to see more from these actors in the future, but Domundi has to spend a little bit more money for good script and extensie acting workshops. Will i recommend? A big-fat YES! WIll i rewatch - just to ogle at those cute boys.

As long as.....

As long as I live I will try to forget that 12 hours was wasted on P'Fah and Teerak. If I have to hear one more P'Fah ..... save us please. Grown past teenage years but still acts childish. One word - infantilism. What is this Thai obession of encouraging behaviours unbecoming an adult? A person can be coddled and spoiled without exhibiting such behavior.

Their story has been told many times before and with the expected result. Let's be real, it's BL and they are the mls, it's expected and I will admit wanted. A nice romance about one sided love hidden under the guise of protection, eventually blossoming and culminating into true love. Real and Hai coming to terms of what their friendship means to each other. Lee finding his place and his special one. What's not to love, right?

Here goes:
Teerak's childish mannerisms
Muenfah's old age mannerisms
Muenfah's 2 wooden and stoic expressions.
Teerak calling Muenfah's name every single sentence when speaking to him. Hey Teerak, he has tasted the goodies, no need to remind him what his name is. I'm sure he isn't lost or suffering amnesia.
Oh acting like a clown for Teerak.
Oh, hungry for love, latching onto another person because they showed interest.
Mike in the role of Oh. How desperate are you to take a role better suited to someone age appropriate?
Production placing Mike in that role. Poor choice.
Hai teasing Real for 5 solid episodes and when the tables are turned, miraculously doesn't know his feelings.
Teerak not being adult enough to tell his father the truth but has him guessing like there is a prize to win.
The blatant disrespect, but expecting a different response.
Teerak's father acting like a rectum, when grandpa and everyone else was on board. Didn't grandpa raise you? Didn't you watch a bl and liked it? So what's the deal?
Teerak's mother and sister cowering when the father was enraged. Like what is he going to do? Worst case, there is a couch for him to sleep on...
Teerak's father kept insisting that he wants to see him happy? Hello, did you watch your son? He's happy. He's got a very rich boyfriend involved in two prospering business who wants to make his every wish come true. Yes, he is happy. Infact, ecstatic.

What is there to love:
Teerak's grandpa recognizing the game from the get go and spoke respectfully to Muenfah about his expectations.
Teerak's determination not to leave Muenfah.
Teerak's sister's devotion to being the best sister to him.
Teerak's character growth.
Teerak's and Muenfah's support from their friends.
Lee's loyalty to both Teerak and his brother.
Lee's dating skills. My man turned a comment about the moon into a whole relationship.
Lee's target recognizing his game and matched his skills.
Muenfah's parents treating their young adult children appropriately.
Muenfah waiting until Teerak was ready to sleep with him.
Muenfah's and Teerak's intimate moments were tastefully done.

Writers and producers at large, please stop putting out shows where childish behaviors are encouraged and rewarded. What are the life lessons that they were trying to impart that hasn't been told already. Only one: Do not tease your best friend, he will want to fu*k you at some point. Real is a good one. This series did have some warm endearing moments, especially between Fah and Rak, but not enough to warrant a rewatch. Time to move on.

I’m Your Sky & You’re My Sea.

Game recognises game, and my man LEE, has GAME! The boy had 6mins, 41secs (yes I counted) and some nonsense line about the moon and walking or something and he worked!! Effortlessly. *Standing ovation* the real MVP. Also, that scene in ep8 almost gave me a heart-attack. I was screaming, ‘Noooo P’Fah do not put our cute fluffy boo-boo’s hand there!’ LMAO, for a second I think we all forgot this show was from Domundi and they real thirsty over there.

Listen, real talk, what’s in the water over at Domundi? Beauty juice, anyone? Do their dramas make me cringe, yes, do I keep rewatching? hell yes! One thing I’ll give them though, their dramas may be cringy but their face cards would never decline. In the first episode I was like, ‘are these models or actors?’ where the normal ugly looking humans at? where my people who roll up to school like we got ran over by a truck on the way?

Anyway, here’s my quick review checklist:

#1. Episode 1 had me rolling my eyes, judging. I literally said to myself. ‘Oh great, another childish show with nonsense plot. Literally what’s with all that cringe over a damn shirt? Give it a rest already.’ But by episode 3 my arse was going ‘ahhhhh why are they so cuteeeeeeeeeee. Sunday, where the eff you at? Come early!’

#2. The creepy vibes from Oh was so strong, like damn dude did you take extra courses for this or what? Thank God he disappeared halfway through the series and we all just forgot about him. He’s probably out there following that one dude who showed him kindness and still being creepy. #savethatonedude.

#3. Hia had me rolling my eyes after Real confessed his feelings. This child gave me a headache. Dude, you’ve been touchy touchy with your best friend and initiating stuff since episode 1, and now you wanna play Mary the virgin? Then of course, he’d make out with Real, and still say he’s not sure about his feelings. If only I could reach into the screen and slap him with a rubber chicken. No, every time he opens his mouth to lie about his feelings I go, ‘my brother, my brother, my brother, let us have peace. Go sit somewhere with your nonsense.’ Ain't no way his arse was still confused after that third kiss. Heck they should have married after that second kiss.

#4. Not gonna lie, I was bored the first few episodes, almost dropped this. And that one cringy scene where Rak shouted Fah’s name during that football game. Ahhhhh, I wanted to find some nice earth, dig a deep hole and just, lie inside. The secondhand embarrassment I felt...yikes. Man was out there having his High School Musical moment, and I wanted to disappear on his behalf.

#5. Also what the hell is up with Rak, a uni student acting like a child? Was he cute, sure, but what grown up acts like that? Bls needs to stop letting grown ups act so childish, it’s really unbecoming and nonsense.

#6. PUNLEE IS THE MAN: There was no nonsense on his part. He sees it, he likes it, he wants it, he gets it. I wish he’d have taught Hia a thing or fifteen, dude was wasting screen time with his nonsense.

#7. I did not care for the stupid misunderstandings from both the main and second leads. Especially that whole sequence with the confession at the airport. Boy you did not even wait to hear an answer and ran away to sulk at some abandon parking lot. Like??? Let us to be serious in this life people.

#8. The shock I got when Fah took Rak’s hand and led it south. I was like. ’NOOOOOO, not the baby, he’s not ready. He’s too innocent, please don’t do that! Stop it!’ Loved that he saw he wasn’t ready and stopped. The breath I let out. Fast forward to ep12, and I am singing 'The innocence is goneeeee.' Like, what angle was that even?

#9. Though, FAH did not waste 1 single second the moment Rak said he was ready. LMAO, my man was hungry!!! Rak grew up too fast. Tears. But it was done really sweet and beautiful, and it turned out Rak was not as innocent as I assumed.

#10. Episode 11 was so emotional. I went through anger, tears, understanding, then happiness for the two. We need to retire this whole episode 11 curse. For the love of all things bl, please, stop breaking our hearts!

#11. I repeat, PUNLEE IS THE MAN: For that one cafe scene alone, he’s officially my fav bl character of 2025.

12. FINALE: Everyone got their happy ending, so smiles all around for our couples. Liked how Rak's father apologised to Fah, and how mature Fah was about everything. Like how Rak sister has been supportive of him throughout this drama as well. That scene with Rak and Fah was... yeah innocence don't live here no more. Lee still the man! Hia and Real, about effing time.

#13. That theme song always had me doing a happy dance.

All in all. I enjoyed the stories of all the couples, they were entertaining even with the cliches and unnecessary misunderstanding. The plot wasn’t anything new or special, it’s been done in other bls. Fake dating turns real. The cast being new was noticeable, cuz the acting was nothing to write home about, so there’s a lot of room for improvement, but they still managed to hold my attention and kept me entertained so it was not time wasted. I will recommend this to anyone looking for a new bl to watche, especially Domundi lovers. It’s cute and fluffy and serious in some parts. I look forward to more from the cast.

Anywho, see you all for the next Domundi drama, my arse will tune in for anything Domundi.

...oof big sigh. why do they keep making these characters act this way

i don't know. i guess mandee/domundi stuff aren't for me. i feel like at this point, they can afford to find better writers for their dramas, hello! i do like the chemistry of their actors but the material they're working with are just... not it. listen, i do watch a lot of silly-goofy-corny dramas but there has to be something fun for me in it. either a character or a trope or a plotline etc. i mean this had its cute moments but ultimately, this one was just really bland to me, from the storylines to the characters. i thought the romance did not make sense. i don't know how or when or why muenfah and teerak started liking each other. teerak's character in particular was challenging for me to watch especially in the beginning. i understand the grumpy-sunshine trope and i'm into it. i like it, i do! but it's when they infantalized the sunshine character where i just... don't get it. they always do this in BLs (sigh). they did this to middleman's love as well (that's even worse because they're grown adults). no one acts this way or no characters are reacting properly in certain situations. it's just too much. the story was just boring to me and underdeveloped. both teerak and muenfah are just not as interesting as i wanted them to be, individually and together. i feel like they could have made it better if we had a good storyline about teerak being a people pleaser or muenfah's struggle about managing his emotions and anger. but they were all surface level and not executed very well.

if there's anyone who was remotely interesting to me, it would be lee. but he was just there for the most part. they suddenly threw a love interest in there for him towards the end but how am i supposed to get invested when there's really no story that was told. i was actually a bit confused about that. real and hia are a bit cute in the end there but their story was also underdeveloped and again, it just did not make sense to me so. (also, they did this thing where they had a female character who is a "bl fan" so she ships men in her real life......... pls that always gives me the ick i'm sorry. stop it.)

the acting overall was just okay. awkward at times sure but it's the kind of awkward i'm used to at this point lol. no one really stood out. so yeah, this is a miss for me unfortunately. i thought the writing was bad, the story and characters just didn't work for me. but hey, thomas and kong are cute tho!

ps: girl, i am still rooting for mandee/domundi to get it together because i am looking forward to khemjira and my expectations are very very low now so there's no way to go but up lmao

Unfortunately poor script and not well-developed characters

Easygoing romantic series. Super fluffy, a lot of filler material that didn't move the story forward and completely unnecessary NC. The characters weren't very believable and they should have worked harder on the script before they started filming. One of the main characters looked and acted like he was 12-13 years old but suddenly had a relationship with a serious CEO (who was also played by a guy who looked extremely young to be a CEO and didn't fit the role). But if you just want to see a very light-hearted story with cute young boys and don't have high demands on the script, suitable cast or believable characters, this is the series for you.

medicore show with a good vibe

OMG, was 2024 a hard year for thai shows. Many shows were childish, immature and poorly written with forgettable storylines and often boring as fuck.

What this "university" show did different: It was not as childish, it was not that immature, it had a 2:1 screen ratio (loving it because I don't have a TV since forever) and the vibe compared to all the similar shows (yes I mean all the GMMTV/Sabi Wabi crap) was miles ahead. I can't explain it really, but when watching this, I had a smile on my face regardless of some clichés & forced drama (ep 11) and some cringe scenes. And of course they did polish the presentation to new heights. Not only are the actors cute/handsome as fuck but also the cinematography did everything to perfection especially in the emotional scenes.

Makes this a good show? Of course not. The story is still poorly written without hights and with forced drama. But everything else was executed in a very good way, had a good vibe and was still enjoyable to watch. Overall I expected less and got more :)

Edit:
After knowing what was cut from this version, this makes the show not even medicore, because, they did cut away all the stuff a BL should be about - intimacy... especially the finale had a nice twist in it which can't be seen in the cut version, so a downrating is appropirate. Don't watch the cut version, it's a waste of time, only watch the uncut version!

my opinion

tbh i didn't like it. ig it's just not my type. there's a lot of people who like this series but i find it very cutesy and cringy. it's totally personal. i respect others opinions too. i just wanted everyone to know about mine too. im not into these type of dramas. the storyline is nice to me. the casting is also good. i feel the acting is too plain and cutest which i don't like. im dropping the series. i look forward to the ending. I'll probably come back to this if the reviews are good. don't take the review personal guys.

edit. 01/01/2025

y'all. i might try watching it again after getting a spoiler from Instagram. i kinda liked the video. i will try to edit the review again then.

Why do I feel it is lacking?

*happy ending*

The actors are handsome especially Fah and Lee. I also really like Babe. But the acting is sooo bland. Especially for Fah who stands on most scenes. Rak also has that monotonous script like tone. I dont feel the authenticity of their characters. I also feel like Fah's character as a mob rough type doesnt suit the story because most of the time he just blankly follows what Rak like a dazed robot.

I just fee like this series is something made in order to follow what Love in the Air bad boy vibes created. And after watching Fourever you, this is really lackluster. Though I will try to continue it in the future. But currently, it is not for me

Edit:

So this was supposed to be dropped at three episodes but I saw clips of the second couple RealHia so I gave it a second chance. I skipped a lot of scenes especially on the earlier episodes because I still feel a bit irked with Teerak's acting. However in the later episodes I realized that the character of Teerak is the one I have an issue with. Teerak's actor on the on latter episodes can be visibly seen to be very expressive with his eyes. When he is bubbly though, his wording still sounds forced and robotic. Like as if he is faking being happy.

I finished this series and the uncut version did not disappoint. Fah and Lee are two very handsome brothers. Though Lee's romance is too abrupt I didnt know where it sprung from. I think they did that in order for the viewers to see the chemistry before their upcoming series but it is too weird to sprung it up like that. Real andHia's story can be a full fledged mini series if expanded I hoped they build up their story more. I wanted more angst and longing in their end. I love Fah's family so much. And Babe is my most favorite character in this series, followed by Lee.

Mindless Enjoyable Fluff

This is a classic, don't think about it BL fluff.

Teerak is an adorable little goof who still looks like his mother cuts his hair and gives out the sweets his mother makes, to everyone at his university. Classic oblivious lead who doesn't know how to say 'no', which leaves him with a persistent stalking problem from a senior who is determined to woo him.
He runs into the rumored Uni bad boy one morning spilling his coffee over his shirt and thus the plot begins.

It's clear from the get go that Fah is not as harsh as he appears to be and clearly, already, has a soft spot for Rak from the moment we see him.
Fah states that he has a temper and had gotten into fights before because of it but we only ever see it at surface level. This is never explored any further. He essentially begins to control this trait once Rak enters the picture.
Enter Oh, the 3 times we see this short fuse are in altercations with Rak's admirer/stalker, which to be honest, where pretty legitimate reasons to get mad.

Oh is a complete slimeball and again, I'm left with this feeling that he was just forgotten about. He never faced repercussions for what he did to Rak and his friends in ep.1, and irritatingly, when Rak finally shuts him down, it is Rak who is apologizing to him. The writers tried to create an absent mother plot but by that point, I didnt care. He was a tool within the plot to get the leads together and cause a little strife but he was never important and I'm a little annoyed by that. I actually wish he had been developed more in some way in order for me to feel the compassion for him that the writers seemed to have wanted. But he was just a spoiled jerk with mummy issues left to cry in the park, with a potential new victim trying to comfort him.

The rest of the cast served a similar purpose. There are two other couples but they had little screen time. I suspect that a season 2 may be in the future for both of these couples but in this one, they disappear into the back along with Oh for the most part.

I do respect in ep.11, that Rak's father was not accepting of his relationship with Fah but I don't like how they did it. We were never shown him to be strict like Rak had always described him. They just looked like a family out of the disney channel with everyone adoring Rak. If felt almost out of the blue and even triggering for me, as it was sudden and violent character change. If I had gotten a back story, like in the novel, I would be more understanding, as I could see it through the lens of trauma, but he just exploded out of nowhere, became emotionally abusive and controlling, and then when his wife and father finally spoke up in Rak's defense, did he apologise with the old 'I just care about him'. ......*le sigh*

This show is really just about Rak and Fah being cute boyfriends. That is 90% of the plot. Everyone else just filled in the time, which is a shame because I feel like this could have been a lot better if the plot was rounded out more. There was a consistent message of proper communication and consent between the characters, but it looked out of place among the rest of a terribly inconsistent script. e.g Rak is a child until there is a sex scene, then he's in control and knows what he's doing.

For newbies as their first show, this is was good start, and it cemented their chemistry, which I felt was good.

Overall, if it's just something cute to fill the time, this is perfect but other than that, it fell short in a lot of places.

this show doesn't know what it wants to be

This felt like one of those sloppy fluff fanfics written by a 14 year old on wattpad in 2017.

I would say that the characters act OOC a lot, but frankly, I don't think the writers had an actual understanding of who the characters are to even start with. Fah is set up to be a tough, intimidating popular guy, but he's really just a blank slate for most of the show. Teerak is almost unbearably childish, yet they constantly put him in serious situations he couldn't believably handle. Most of the side characters are very underdeveloped in my opinion. I didn't really care about any of the side couples since I was given little time to understand them or their stories.

The characters do not drive the plot themselves. Ridiculous things happen to the characters and they rarely make any sort of meaningful choices to develop as characters. I kept thinking to myself while watching that the college setting wasn't very suitable. With how immature Teerak and his friends are paired with the cheesy plot, I kept thinking that this should've changed some things to set this in high-school instead. At least then the childishness of the characters and their actions would make more sense.

The writers tried to shove every single cheesy bl trope into the show without thinking about actual storytelling. Not every drama has to do something revolutionary to be good, and this could've been a great simple happy-go-lucky kind of drama, yet I just found myself incredibly bored half the time.

All in all, this show is good if you just wanna watch something fluffy and cute without much substance. there isn't much of a story and the acting is kinda meh (though, I feel like that's mostly the fault of the bad dialogue and poor directing, but I digress). I still enjoyed watching it regardless. I needed something fluffy and silly to watch after finishing a dramatic drama, and I will say that this show did fulfill that need well.

HOW TO FUCK YOUR 8 YEAR OLD COUSIN

The story is simpler than the mechanism of a pen. If you tell me that it came out in 2015, that is, 10 years ago, I can understand that it is the most of the most and that everyone is talking. But this in 2025 seems to me to be the most boring story. It's cliche after cliche. Fake relationship where both end up falling in love but GIRL we had already passed that time.
The performances are bad, I don't know if it's because the actors aren't good at acting or because the whole plot is so cringing that they don't know how to act. I don't see any chemistry between MLs . The actor who plays Teerak is always hunched over and the one who plays Fah, I don't know if it's because of his character or what, but he just smiles, even Joker didn't smile that much. The thing is that they do not transmit any emotion, always they have the same face.

I refuse to believe that you are treating him all the time as if you were taking care of your 8-year-old cousin and in episode 9 and 12 they have sexual relations. Come on, you are so horny that it seems like you like to fuck a minor.

As I understand it, this in Thailand is being a great success and I'm happy for them because oh my goodness it seems that they are more outdated when it comes to BL and that they perpetuate canons and clichés, thank God there are more series outside that explore different themes because this is like I said at the beginning 10 years ago ok, but now....

The last episode was so unneccesary just a filler, just another sexual relation to please the fandom. They didn't care at all of the other couples (one of them finished a bit rushed and the other you have to assume implicitly that they are together).

Why did I watch this again… Haha… really questioning myself for the fact…. But here I am finished watching this one… Let's talk drama then…

Story about Teerak, a naive university student & Muenfah, campus’s popular stoic senior, who's entangled in a fake relationship. One day, to avoid Oh, a creepy senior that's been chasing Teerak to be his boyfriend, Muenfah said that Teerak is his boyfriend. And from that on their fake relationship begins. But, as always, slowly that fake relationship turns into a real one.

And as Muenfah & Teerak relationship progresses, they get harassed by Oh. Oh is a creepy guy who never accepted the fact that Teerak always turned him down & he didn't accept the fact that now Muenfah is Teerak’s boyfriend. But thankfully he finally stopped when Muenfah finally got Oh's mother involved.

So, once Oh problems get settled, now the only obstacles for their relationship is their families. Thank goodness, Muenfah & Teerak both have loving siblings that protect & support them from the first.

That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Babe, Teerak’s sister. This overprotected sister, I think will be the first obstacles for their relationship. But she's really one best sister that Teerak could get.
+ How Teerak’s grandpa take their relationship
+ Teerak’s friends. They are really protective of him…
+Teerak’s parents' reaction. Don't call me homophobic so soon. But finally we get a more normal reaction for parents whose child comes out as gay.
+ All the young actor, for most of them having this as their first drama, I can't said their acting was bad... Their acting even better than the disaster last year (Addicted Heroin I'm talking about you. Haha...)

What I don't like:
- I'm sure most of us don't like Teerak childish mannerisms… Ugh… I really questioning myself, how I could even finish this one… haha… But really, when Teerak & Muenfah were having intimate scenes, it's like watching a pedophile taking action… Haha…
- The unimportance of other couples. Why why why they even bother to write their story, especially Lee & his man, I don't even understand their relationship…
- Oh and his mommy issue. Yeah he just put all the blame to his mother without ever acknowledge it's his problem in the first place...

I don't even know what to write for conclusions… Watch or not just decided urself from the trailer…
