The powerful acting & twisted story makes this compelling to watch, can't recommend it enough, the fascinating backstory that shapes current events leaves you wondering how is this actually going to play out in the end, you're in for a treat,I really wanted a far longer episode count just to dig in more from their shared history, they could have spun the show for at least 14 episodes & really explore each of the lead actors characters backstory & what shaped them into who they are, toxic but grippingWas this review helpful to you?
Overrated?
I like the idea of the series and i can see the potential in it, but in my opinion it's been executed poorly. The story overall is alright, but it left me very confused several times with the plot gradually becoming more and more messed up. I think there were several scenes that were unnecessary to the story that would just leave viewers more confused than already. I feel like it ended up being too messy, especially in the last episode, which was just a lot of crazy stuff and weird plot twists. I also had pretty high expectations as I've only heard good things about it, so overall I find it really disappointing and overrated.Was this review helpful to you?

I love the way of acting , like guys they are on point and the actual villan really made me hate him wow his acting is beyond expectations and the co worker my greenest forest ever I way i prayed daon to end up with him I am eagerly waiting for the last episode which is going to be released today wow I can't wait. this would be the BEST KOREAN BL OF THE YEAR not gonna lie!! they deserve a recognition for doing this drama!! the best!! I hope it has a season 2! I would I love how they gave us different emotions, they make us cry and angry, they make us wants to hug everyone of them. jaemin needs jail time
I was honestly shocked by how good this turned out.I wasnt exactly underestimating this bl,i was expecting a normal standard drama but GIRL IT TURNED OUT TO BE MY TOP 1.Okay first when i tell you the ACTINGGG like omg the acting was actually so freaking good it was giving 16 eps 24k kdrama Like usually in bls,the acting can be sometimes annoying and cringy but in this???They knew what they were doing by choosing these leads bro.I am not kidding it was amazing.Okay im just gonna say this : Jaemin needs jail time and suhyeon needs therapy.To me,suhyeon was never really the villain,i feel like he was just manipulated by jaemin and blinded by love.Yes,i know he's kinda cray cray but when you think about it,its really jaemin that transformed him into this.Honestly just give my man suhyeon more options and PLEASE let him know that daon isnt the only man in this earth no matter how much he loves him 😭🙏🙏.Okay but for jaemin,that ho does just not get the meaning of ¨love¨.

-oh but today daon also confessed his love to me,what shall i do hmmmm..Oh! i know,instead of telling daon that i cant accept his love because of my ¨ex¨ that is coming back to korea and im afraid that his abusive ass will hurt us,ill just tell daon that he's crossing the line and proceed to never contact him again!Smart,aint i ?
-oh no but now theres a co-worker of daon's that is strangely close to him and im sad,plus suhyeon is trying to win him over.What shall i do? I honestly dont have that much to say about this drama since it was so freaking good,the ost was an actual banger,seong hyun is a walking green forest,i just wish that it would be longerrrr like GIRL 8 EPS AINT ENOUGHHHH.But honeslty this was so worth the wait , its a must watch.
The cutest thing i found about this is how daon didnt accept a ring from anyone but seonghyun LIKE YES GO GET UR MANZZZZ.I lowk shed a tear like omg he waited for daon for a year???Not looking at anyone else???Thats honestly the most loyal man out there.Something about seonghyun is that,hes the only charcacter that knew when was the right time to sacrifice,UNLIKE SOMEBODY AHEM.yes jaemin im talking about you and YES SUHYEON you are included cuz i like you but you really pmo'ed.Anyway,i wanted to keep this short but uhhhh it wasnt really that short!Anyway this is your sign to go watch this it was litteraly a masterpiece.

Interesting journey of the main character trapped in toxic relationship(s) : a wild ride!
This BL drama features the intricated relationships between Da On, a young and handsome salaryman and Seong Hyeon, Jae Min and Su Hyeon all connected differently to him. It is quite a dark series with a lot of toxicity in the various bonds between the characters themselves. The main character is trapped in his past and present feelings and there are a lot of craziness happening, which I found very exciting to follow as the story progressed.There are some strong psychological elements underlined in the scenario and I would have loved to dig further into the layers of the various characters as the series progressed. It could have been even more complex and nuanced but overall given the drama's length, I found the overall main character development and narrative around the evolution of his feelings very believable and gripping. There are a couple of elements in the storytelling and choices made by the characters that convinced me less but nothing dithering my interest for the drama as it unfolded.
The acting was quite solid, especially Kim Jun Seo who played Da On. He was the center part of the story and it is him making his character so attaching and touching that made the series so compelling to follow. Next to him, the three others actors did a good job showcasing properly real range of emotions : from sunshiny to batshit craziness. There were a few instances were I felt they were a bit strained / rigid in their acting but they all fully committed to their parts which I appreciate.
There was clearly not a huge production budget and sometimes the sets felt a bit lacking and poor. But there were some interesting ideas in terms of directing to effectively display the main focus point of the romance(s): the best metaphor for me being the scenes with the ring(s). Such a statement of what worked and what did not work in the relationship(s). The background music could also have been better, it was a bit too heavily handled on top of some scenes. I enjoyed some of the songs but I did not find any of it memorable.
I would recommend this to people looking for an intense BL featuring toxic relationships coupled with some crazy twist and turns. I wish some parts would have been developed more, and that the ending would have been as captivating as the build up to it, but overall, I think this watch is a wild ride well-worth the time.

I love him, you love him too, we all love him.
It is an exceedingly complicated love story that perfectly captures a smooth pacing, plot, and storyline. There is no doubt that this drama received a lot of possible feedback because all of the elements are in perfect sync. The actors alone are well-cast. Every one of them perfectly performed their roles. This isn’t just the usual eye-candy set of actors since all four of them can act. The three admirers are literally serving good looks and setting aside their characters’ personalities, I might have a hard time choosing only one.Jung Da On was the center of all the conflicts and love interests. His life is miserable enough to have a troublemaker and gambling-addict father. This unfortunate scenario in his life alone is unbearable. Which, I understand how he became independent and polished a strong yet fragile personality.
Sin Jae Min is a real psycho. His obsessiveness towards Da On wasn’t a genuine love but more of an obsessive love disorder. The uncanny things he did just to get Da On’s attachment towards him was so creepy. He is scary because of how he seems genuine at first but hides indefinite secrets behind your back. Extreme love can make someone lose their sanity.
Kim Su Hyeon on the other hand seems a maniac outside but has an overflowing care inside. He honestly loves Da On yet his action was not valid at all. No one deserves to be shouted at and possessed, treating you like a thing or an object they own. I admire his inner devotion to protecting Da On at all costs but he should learn how to love himself first before loving others.
Ju Seong Hyeon was the MVP of the series. This man deserves all the love from the world. He is the softest and most reliable man for Da On. A walking green flag as stated by many. I feel so sad and pity him for having to experience all the dejected things before ending with Da On. I love him the most and his smile heals everything. I am so happy to see him become Da On’s boyfriend at the finale. He has been my number-one pick since day one.
This is one of the best BLs aired after a long time. It wasn’t that perfect but it surely delivers a unique plot and overwhelming emotions every episode. I hope to see more future projects, hopefully, BL shows, for the casts.

Sexy Screwed-up Secrets in the Office
Fleeting moments of sweetness marred with a loaded past spanning a decade of Jane Austin like trope.I was watching an Oxin newly released series recently and wondered how PH BL acting could be so bad when Korea has continually exceptional actors carrying multi layered performances, it just astounds me that there is such a casm between countries.
Anyhow back to this seminal masterpiece, I’m 6 eps in and so worried about what’s going to happen next lol. Will update soon, peace 😂😉🙏🏾.

BEST KBL 2025
This series is definitely becoming one of the best BL series of 2025! The way they made an effort to get actors that really fit their characters is incredible!! All of them are talented actors. Really talented. This series is giving us quality actors, quality production, and a fascinating storytelling. So, if any of you are doubting whether to watch this series, DON'T DOUBT ANYMORE!In the end, I have to say that my favorite characters and my protected ones will always be Seonghyeon and Daon💗

Masterpiece
Pros:Engaging storyline : The only BL that makes me impatiently waiting for each episode.
The casts : i never saw any of the main leads before, but they surely know how to act.
Visuals, i mean that's what makes me want to watch to show at the first time. It's rare to have a beautiful male lead in KBL.
Plot twist after plot twist. You never know what will surprise you.
Flashbacks at the end of each episode.
No boring moments. No filler scenes.
Cons:
Too short. How i wish this is a regular 16 episode of 60 minutes korean drama.

Evil, Psychopath, and Golden Retriever and the lover! Lol
Firstly, ignore the low ratings and bad reviews.The acting is good!Yup there is a whole lot of toxicity but portrayed by good actors and script. It's not cringe or over the top abuse every single second or senseless dialogues thrown in between.
They don't even have too many kisses or nc scenes till ep 4. I honestly liked the way this series is done. It’s to the point and keeps you interested.
And well the characters are all black and grey and that one golden lmao
Just watch the episodes and make your own decision.

OMG !!! I'm so in love with that coworker! He's so freaking adorable and with golden retriever vibes!! When he smiles and cutely flirts with Daon and sticks to him so much that poor Doan is exhausted lol honestly this guy is the one Daon should end up with fr!
And damn that Jeimin hyung is some level of EVIL! I mean how can someone be this cruel and manipulative with the person they love?? And with that smile and innocent face?? All his life Jeimin has been like this with Daon. The poor guy is in for such a heartbreak!
I like the other hyeon too, but the golden retriever guy needs to get our cute Daon. He's suffered way too much. Let Daon have some peace and a normal love life please!
