Haven't gotten any more disappointed with a sequel
To be honest I didn't have many expectations but things got worse every time. The plot was too tiring and the cast HORRIBLE. Like the FL had more chemistry with the villain than with the ML. Plus the cast didn't go well, the actors didn't match the concept except Woo Seok. I dropped the drama because it was too annoying and boring to watch... It's such a shame that this is considered a sequel of the iconic SWDBS, it was my first and favourite drama, whereas this is such a waste of time. They even consider Season 3 like 😭 I don’t believe that this thing will have Season 3 and MOON LOVERS IS STILL ON SEASON 1Was this review helpful to you?

LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS
Before watching, please lower your expectations! This is totally different if you think this is will similar with Bong Soon version.Everything is fine until ep 3, but after that the plot is mess. Idk how the writernim think, but they just wasted all potential. Main lead didn't even get the 'spotlight' that they deserved. The 'superpower' even only showed in early episode and closed to ending. So many cringe scene esp grandma and her bf (I always skipped this part ). They can use this time for better scene pls. So many important things still not explained. How they solve every problem also the worst.

A unique and fun Drama with strong female characters
Okay not gonna lie, I am lowkey shook at all the bad reviews this drama got 🤯I really enjoyed watching this! I thought it was funny, exciting and relatable to some point. It was refreshing seeing a drama like this where the focus is not the love relationship and the female lead is not a weak beautiful woman who always has to be saved by the male lead. In this case it was actually the opposite most of the time and I thought it was HILARIOUS how she was always carrying him. I laughed a lot and I seriously don’t get the hate.
If you came for some serious plot with characters looking and acting all mature then yes this drama is not it. But I think you can already sense the kind of humor this drama has from just the cover photo. It is made in a comic style and ofc all the characters act super exaggerated over the top. I guess because I am also kind of an exaggerated person myself, I loved watching this drama.
I loved how the connection and strength between the females in one family was portrayed.
Then the whole plot with the drug cartel going on and the evil guy WAS AMAZING too! He was the perfect villain.
All in all I can totally recommend this if you are looking for something unique.

Mixed feelings
My expectations for "Strong Girl Namsoon" were high, but the plot attempting to address too many stories across three generations of strong women turned out to be chaotic. From romantic aspects to personal growth and justice, the narrative felt scattered, leading me to moments of boredom where I contemplated abandoning the series. Despite a strong cast, the script had issues with numerous unresolved storylines involving antagonists, which seemed more intriguing than the main plot. I did finish it, but I wouldn't recommend it. I anticipated a more enjoyable experience akin to "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," and while there were amusing scenes, it fell short of my expectations.Was this review helpful to you?

So much more than you can imagine
Oh my God, just brilliant.I have to say when I first started to watch it I definitely didn't expect any of the things that happened, I was thinking about the usual show with a super power hero family.
Boy I was so wrong!
The story mix perfectly comedy ,action, sci-fi, and crime drama in a way that you wouldn't think it's possible. The side characters are amazing and you get invested in every aspect of the story and side story too.
Here's the spoiler.
At the end it just leave you wanting more since they clearly end the main plot but leave open an even bigger one with the revelation of Bread Song true identity and the introduction of another member of the family with the same powers but male.
So, at this point I just pray for a continuation either a second season or a spinoff.

Drama that came with high expectations, but ultimately felt quite generic and cringe
Even if we set aside the elements of super strength—since it is a fantasy show after all—the plot simply moves at an unreasonably rushed pace.It starts in Mongolia, and almost instantly, the main character arrives in South Korea, finds her mother almost immediately, and is suddenly fighting criminals alongside the police while developing a romance with a detective. Everything happens far too quickly without building any real depth.
Beyond the rushed pacing, the show is full of frustrating plot holes. Take the main villain, for instance: throughout the entire show, it's hard not to wonder how such a powerful and wealthy man remains so oblivious to who she really is, especially when she makes no effort to hide her identity or her superpowers from anyone.
Furthermore, the series is overloaded with unnecessary subplots and an unbalanced mix of genres—shifting abruptly from a dark crime drama about illegal substances to over-the-top comedy. It has too many episodes, and it feels like it tries to do way too much at once instead of focusing on the core story.
it is a decent show only if you're looking for something light to pass the time without thinking too much, but it definitely doesn't live up to the expectations

Only watched for Byeon Woo Seok
First of all I would like to say I watched this because Byeon Woo Seok. The plot is basically like particles in the air, you can't see or feel it. In short there was no plot.I feel like the main character have more chemistry with the villain rather than the male lead. And i feel like the only interesting part was the villains backstory. Honestly, I had to skip to a lot of parts because its filled with filler episodes and nothing is adding on to the story.
Don't get me started on the male lead. He's just forced to be there to take up space and somehow ended up with the main character. I would like to repeat, there is NO chemistry between the male lead and mc. Honestly, don't fucking watch this its not worth your time if you're just here for the story, i'm a special case because I watched for the actor.

doing the most
i grew tired of the infantilization of the female lead so quick, it's cringe and outdated, can't even say she's just quirky because it's just very weird 💀 but i think the actress did really good, that one scene in ep 15 was just great.so many side plots made it impossible to watch, without the fillers it could've been 12 episodes and it would've been just fine, way too much unnecessary stories that didn't lead anywhere.
the mother felt more like a pimp than anything else, like telling your daughter to quickly have sex with this guy you just met it's weird af, what's the need to get pregnant at 22 👹 girl they have time, don't piss me off, felt like straight up propaganda.

Fun, Fun, Fun
I cannot understand all the bad reviews for this show. Its just a fun show that never takes itself seriously with the possible exception of the bad guy. If you start with the framework that everybody in the show is crazy then you will undoubtedly enjoy it. I laughed all the way through Namson's naivety and cluelessness. The lack of logic in her heroic deeds was just part of the weirdness.Her beautiful mother, Guem Joo, was equally as reckless and crazy with her "save the world" obsession. Most of the other characters were no less quirky, especially the totally dysfunctional family.
Anyway, I watch a lot of K-Dramas and the characters in this one were some of my all time favorites.

Loved this drama! Don’t listen to the nonsense comments , this drama gave me the chills in a good way! I get like the ending kinda sucked,but I can’t stop raving how much Nam Soon & Bong Soon are my new favorite female superheroes ?🦸♀️
I mean c’mon most superheroes ( like Marvel’s Avengers ) are kinda rough around the edges and such but Nam-Soon has such unique super powers that she’d oust all of them !! And she’s born with them unlike half of marvels characters who got them through unnatural circumstances… ( hulk, Spider-Man , Captain America, etc. ALL lab experiments!)

Promising and Fun Start that became Unwatchable
THE GOOD: The show was really amusing for the first several episodes. A superhero premise demands suspension of disbelief and this one is almost a parody (which actually made it better and a lot of fun). Enjoyed the BA mom, naive/pure daughter, and comedic relief grandma . The boy toys were a satirical reversal of older superhero shows. CGI was in keeping with the overall campy vibe. It all worked... at first.THE BAD: Unfortunately, the characters became one dimensional and grating, especially grandma. Romance lacked chemistry and credibility. The villain was boring. The plot line was unfocused, tediously slow, and increasingly uninteresting. Although this is subjective, the daughter's hair cut made her significantly less attractive--the actress is a beautiful woman and mom has unlimited money, so how could she look worse after the makeover? The actors deserved better writers.
THE UGLY: By Episode 8, there was a growing evangelistic worldview being preached that is out of place in a light, entertaining RomCom. Socialism = Good, Capitalism = Evil (which seems odd coming out of a divided Korea that clearly displays the opposite). Women = Strong/Intelligent, Men=Weak, Dumb, and/or Evil. (Etc.) When the sermonizing outweighed the entertainment, I quit watching.

don’t buy into the hate - it’s an entertaining show : )
y’all are a bit weird!! why the hate? I don’t get it. Yes we all have a crush on Byeon Woo-Seok but it’s kinda cuckoo to base our opinion only on that. He was playing a villain after all. albeit one who actually had a heart at times and had a tough upbringing, still a villain though.Personally I would like to say that this show was entertaining!! i liked it. I laughed, I shed a few tears, I swooned and I wanted to to know how it would end. I ain’t disappointed. it’s not perfect, it has its loose ends and so on but it’s definitely entertaining, kinda cute too. I really like Nam-soon ‘innocence’ - it was refreshing and it made for some funny scenes. There are lots of characters to discover, surely you’ll appreciate at least a few.
my only negative feedback would be that this show is poorly titled it should have been ‘strong women’ as it really about three generations and not one.
I have yet to watch the first one so can’t compare.
that’s my two cents. Give it a try if only for the beautiful landscapes of Mongolia and to have a few laughs.
