My Heart…
I wasn’t sure what to expect going in. I knew Cho Yi Hyun from All of Us Are Dead but otherwise had no other knowledge of it. It surpassed any expectations and was charming, funny, emotional, and heartfelt. The overall cast was amazing, but I’d say Cho Yi Hyun, Choo Young Woo, and Choo Ja Hyun were the standouts! Young Woo’s ability to switch so seamlessly between Gyeon-u and Bong-su was impressive and he made both equally likeable. Yi Hyun is adorable as always, and she brought so much sincerity to her character. The love triangle managed to be cute and wholesome without ruining the plot; the 3 leads had a great dynamic and I wish we could have seen more of them! I also wish we got to see more of adult Seong-A and Gyeong-u’s budding relationship…Overall a very enjoyable watch. I laughed a lot, blushed, and cried. Definitely a rewatch!

Tears because the drama was great. rewatching 100%
1- story 100/100. Could have felt fast-paced to others but personally I found it fitting to the overall meaning.2- actors and music great!!!!
3- the sad/happy/funny moments were very persuasive, i felt like i was there with them.
Usually the viewers tend to share emotions with the good/bad characters depending on who the story focuses on more, BUT this one was 70:30 (good:bad) and it was more than enough to be on both sides.
I cried because the "bad guy" of the story was good to begin with.
Because he was only trying to be kind to his younger self- the only one he could go back to.
And it wasn't sad. It was an "everyone is a hero in their own way".

From a sweet romance to a powerful supernatural conclusion
Head over Heels begins as a sweet high school romance with supernatural elements, It develops into something more substantial, mysterious, and powerful while retaining the beautiful innocence of youth and trust. It also shows the role traditional shamanism continues to play in a modern, sophisticated society: how Korea keeps faith with its traditions. For me, the drama shares sensibilities with some of my favorite dramas from years back before Netflix came on the scene.The story's metamorphosis is convincing as the characters continue to develop emotionally. I especially appreciated that the villains are not unredeemable. They are given chances - will they take them? No one is ultimately rejected but not all the story lines are resolved.
Needless to say, the acting is at a high level, the romantic chemistry between the leads as convincing as is the bromance between Gyeon-u and Ji-ho. Cho Hu-Hyun does a wonderful job differentiating between the awkward high-school student Seong-a and the powerful, empathetic sHeaven and Earth Fairy shaman.
I know that many reviews have focused on what some see as holes in the plot, unresolved dramatic lines etc but I found myself caught up in the spirit and beauty of Head over Heels. There are numerous little touches that resonated with me - a few chords from Hotel del Luna after the big closing scene at the abandoned house, the epilogue with Seong-a doing a fairly ordinary and tiring exorcism. The writers could have ended with a long kiss under the moonlight but i found it appropriate showing that Seong-a's job is not always romantic or dramatic. It's just another day at work!

nowadays ..krama won't have this kind of stories ..it's more exciting and cultural ..as a korean... i like a it lot watching seong a and bongsu chemistry but yaah gonua won our heart ...they r so cute 🥰it's romantic , funny....good storyline never had watched like this one...so yaah i would definitely recommend everyone ....I mean starting of the ep to the ending its really great ..i hope u will find it good too ...please give a try ...

The story follows a high school setting mixed with elements of Korean shamanism, which was surprisingly interesting. What starts off feeling light-hearted and almost fluffy slowly reveals more depth. It balances youth, emotions, and spiritual themes in a way that feels gentle rather than heavy, which made it very easy to watch.
I’ve seen the male lead before in The Tale of Lady Ok, so I won’t lie, it was a bit hard at first to see him playing a high school student. He definitely looks older, and that took me out of the illusion for a moment. But once I got past that, I really enjoyed his performance, and he fit the emotional tone of the drama well.
One thing I truly appreciated is how much this drama taught me about Korean shaman work. That aspect felt fresh and added cultural depth to the story, instead of just being used as a background gimmick. It made the drama feel more meaningful and unique.
The cast also played a big role in elevating the show. Having some important and experienced names really helped ground the story and gave it more weight. Even though the drama feels light when you first start watching, there’s a sincerity to it that grows on you.
Overall, Head Over Heels was much better than I expected. It’s warm, interesting, and quietly enjoyable—and sometimes, that’s exactly what you need.

A breath of fresh air in K-drama
I have to say, Head Over Heels feels like such a breath of fresh air in the K-drama world!The storyline is genuinely refreshing with a light yet meaningful flow that keeps things exciting without ever becoming predictable.
The way the leads fall for each other is so natural and sweet, full of those little details that just make your heart flutter.
I love how the drama balances humor with emotional depth too, one moment I’m laughing at their playful banter and the next I’m touched by a scene that tugs at my heart.
The only thing that bugs me a little is the villain. He feels a bit weak compared to the rest of the story, but honestly, it doesn’t ruin the experience at all because everything else is so good. The chemistry, the pacing, the feel-good vibe, it all just works.
This is definitely one of those dramas where you finish an episode and instantly want to watch the next. It feels fresh, lively and completely addictive.
Totally the kind of comfort drama I know I’ll be rewatching again and again!

My Choo Young Woo~
I started to know Choo Young Woo in Trauma Code medical series. I was super excited when I know he will become the main lead in Head Over Heels.I was kinda late in watching as I am searching for the mood and finally, I found it. That kind of kdrama is not that popular as others, but I found it interesting as we gained new knowledge of the spirits roaming around and all haha
Their chemistry is top notch and I love the differences in their heights (cries). To act 2 different characters is overwhelming and Choo Young Woo nailed it!!!

AMAZING DRAMA!!
Def a must-watch. It's so interesting and the FML is adorable. Im curious to see how Seongah will get Gyeonu to open up to her. Every second of watching this isn't even a little boring!! I watched the first two episodes 3 times by now without getting bored! The FML isn't annoying and her quirkiness is really cute. This drama so far has everything! Horror, thriller, romance, comedy, etc. From the first two episodes, this drama is a 10 and I won't be dropping it!!!Was this review helpful to you?

Takes empathy & sympathy too far. 3 year separation!
Though a bit on the creepy side, It seemed like a decent drama, until I got suspicious & cheated by looking ahead at the episode synopsis & read some more reviews. From everything I read, it has a "happy" ending , BUT how it gets there is why I'm dropping this drama. I don't like time skips or enforced (couple) separation/ I have even less tolerance for couple separation by choice under the guise of "noble" sacrifice. Add in a soul switch or soul sharing ,( especially mixing the genders of the souls ) & my interest level drops to zero.From Episode 7 to the end, the plot revolves around these things.
not worth the investment for me.

AND go into hiding for 3 years ! leaving Gyeon-U behind !?

School romance, friendships , shamans and ghosts
Plot has a high school shaman who keeps her identity secret. She falls for a guy who is troubled and the entire drama is about this girls saving him from problems.The friendship is really cute in this drama and almost all main characters are likeable. It's a very good teen drama.
The villains as mostly grey and not fully dark...I don't mind that. All supporting characters have done a great job at acting, especially the 2nd ML.
So far, the pacing of the drama has been excellent and intend to finish the drama.
