Disappointing thing to watch after All of Us Are Dead
I was looking for the same sort of high stakes, action focused drama as All of Us Are Dead and since this is also a zombie school drama, it seemed an obvious choice.I was unfortunately very disappointed. Whereas All of Us Are Dead (AOUAD) is moved forward by tense and dynamic emotional connections and the unknown of who will survive if anyone, Zomivor lacked the same appeals.
Zomivor starts seemingly in the hours following the initial outbreak and through flashbacks reveals what happened over the past year or so. This leads you right into the tension but with no emotional attachment to any characters to care for their success. Due to the fact that this takes place at a college campus across two separate schools and about 3-4 separate groups, the relationships are unclear and this downplays the tension between characters as drama is introduced as it’s hard to tell who is an acquaintance or a friend.
I think this production was overall very weak and the directing choices poorly made. However, the acting was fine and the special effects/zombies were appropriately creepy.
I find myself confused by the high ratings of this, and would love to know if it was as successful domestically as internationally. From the other reviews and comments I’ve seen online, I do think a large portion of people went into this because of a favorite actor.

OMG PERFECT!!!
So I'm gonna start by saying I might reveal some spoilers so if you haven't watched and don't want spoilers, please don't read!!!Infact, I'm surprised, this is the top tier Thai series, everything is just perfect. My only problem is how they want to create their own version of zombies instead of the ones we know. At a point I needed English dub instead of subs in order to understand, but I decided to focus more on the subs and I understood everything in a min.
Some of the characters are so lame, I mean is a life and death situation and come and see FAH, PAO and those cheerleading team lol, they joke too much, the whole issue with PAO mental health was so so unnecessary in the first place, It shouldn't be an excuse here.
And I still don't understand Ning, maybe the next season (we all know we are getting it lol) will explain further because leaving her friends there was such a bad choice. Non had to pay the price for being born into their family.
I know they are going to bring up some lame excuses for his mother and Wirjo the next season, because Wirjo especially knew the consequences and still went ahead to use humans for the test, he didn't even use 1 but tons, not knowing the outcome for the drugs, why did they not put them in a lab to study them instead of just leaving them out there?
This series has really taken me by surprise the acting and everything was perfect, I only think they could do better with the storyline, we should see them trying to survive, running here and there instead of sitting and talking plenty. At a point I was wondering why they decides to leave their shelter when nothing is at stake because they were not going for food or anything and they know very well they can't kill all the zombies so it was better they stay at one place of nothing is at stake.
We should see them trying to look for food, water and other things.
Overall this is perfect, I know we can't wait for the next season, because that ENDING?...
My rewatch value is 5/10 because I'm not a fan of watching the same series more than one.

Interesting plot but poorly executed
I have to give kudos for the acting of all actors involved, especially Jimmy, Max, Net, Tutor, Boss, Mark and Janis. The rest could have done better but they all had moment or scene that left good impression. I also like the creative part of the story in which they gave new characteristics for the zombies. However the plot was poorly executed and messy which reduced the re-watch value. One time watch for me.Was this review helpful to you?

it was so good but im wondering if there is a season 2 can you guys tell me becuase i may forget and only remember like a year later and then i have to rewatch both seasons just to remember the plot and if you guys helped i would be so glad and i loved how the actors and actresses actted it looked so real i started to cry like thrice during the show and then i checked it said there might be a season 2 and on the website i use it says its on one of the ongoing shows so there might be a season 2 but i hope there is the show was so good the actors acting was soo good and the actresses acted as good so i hope and i think must of us hopes there is a season 2Was this review helpful to you?

Don't waste your time.
I’ve technically finished this series, but honestly, I didn’t enjoy it at all. Rewatch value? Absolutely none. The ending was extremely suspicious and unsatisfying — a cliffhanger that made me wish there would be no season two.While the makeup and editing were visually nice, the plot itself was severely lacking. The constant switching between past and present made the storyline confusing rather than engaging. Instead of building tension or depth, it only added to the mess. What’s even more frustrating is that the cast is actually strong — every actor did well in their respective roles — yet the writing failed them completely. Each character’s storyline somehow became worse as the series progressed, which felt very unfair given their performances.
Watching this series didn’t feel enjoyable at any point. I felt uncomfortable throughout, to the extent that I dropped it at episode four and skipped straight to the final episode. Unfortunately, even the ending failed to redeem anything. It only confirmed my disappointment.
In the end, the only thing I genuinely liked about this series was the behind-the-scenes production. Everything else — especially the plot — fell flat. A good cast and decent production can’t save a poorly written and confusing story.

Good but not enough,the change from the trailer they released in 2023 is unreasonably released
It's different from the trailer in 2023,I'm okay if they didn't change their uniform in different clothes.The story and plot was CRAAAAAZYYYY!!! but Ning ang Non's mother being a humbie in the ending was lit,and Non's being infected is not acceptable that's why I need season 2.San and Non's relationship between each other is sus and Lily Kawin's friendship is so touching.Fah being stupid half of her screen time is giving me headache she didn't even throw the phone that has an alarm or ringtone the reason's why she and Lily found by the zombie and Lily getting infected. I didn't hate Pao but he didn't consider the safety of other even if though those who gets infected in front on him that he cared about died.Prao's attitude and mindset is cool and practical but being a rage baiter makes more possibilities of being eaten than getting safe.The owner of Patron is the most stupid character and selfish that's why Non's infected.I declare kidnapping because they only get Ning and the others didn't. Loved it, but....
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS!Overall, I'm in love with this series. So many BL actors - most of them I knew instantly. I was on cloud nine to see so many in a single show. The plot was great too and I enjoyed the acting, even if some characters really never should have made it into college....if you've watched it, then you know who I'm talking about. Ring, ring.
Sadly, as much as I love this show that ending really annoyed me. I'll be honest, the main reason I LOVE Asian dramas is that *MOST* of them don't have multiple seasons because they don't need them. A good majority are all self contained and tell a full story in a single season. No cliffhangers, no waiting years for a new season (that might not even happen) or getting tons of seasons for something that should have ended a long time prior, leaving the show feeling pointless only to end with an extremely unsatisfying ending.
Asian dramas tend to bypass that nonsense and gives us a COMPLETE story that ends when it should. While there are expectations to this, I'd say 98% of what I've watched has been self-contained into one season and any sequels are usually just spin offs that focus on the side characters from the original. I prefer it this way and it's for this reason that I rarely ever watch American tv shows (as they either drag on when it shouldn't, gets cancelled, or we have to wait YEARS for a new season...not my thing, sorry). After watching Asian dramas, I never looked back.
What first got me interested in this show was hearing that Boss would be in it. Then I saw the rest of the cast and couldn't contain my excitement. I was so hyped. Sadly, I wasn't able to watch it until today. While it was everything I hoped it would be, the joy I felt was overshadowed greatly by getting the American/Western treatment at the end.
Seeing as this was released by Netflix, I don't know why I thought that this would be a full story in one season. They did it with All of Us Are Dead, Sweet Home, and Squid Game. Of course, this would get the same treatment. I really should have prepared myself for that, but I didn't. Had it not been a cliffhanger ending that we'll have to likely wait years for (if it comes out at all with Netflix's track record), then this would have been a 10/10 for me. Simply due to the end, I gave it a 9.5. It would have been disingenuous of me to do otherwise since it really was that good. When/if the story is ACTUALLY over, then I'll revise my score. For now, I can't help but be disappointed.
All that said, this is a fantastic show and I was hooked from the moment it started until the moment it ended. If you enjoy any of these actors, this is definitely a must watch, though I'd probably advise you to wait until it's actually completed, but who knows when that will be?

💬 Just finished watching Zomvivor and wow — I LOVED it! 😍 It’s totally different from every zombie movie I’ve seen before. The mix of emotions, fun, and suspense was perfect. All the leads were amazing, but Boss aka Phu totally stole my heart! ❤️ Nunew was absolutely incredible too, such a powerful performance. Every character had their own spark — definitely worth watching! 🧟♀️🔥Zomvivor isn’t your usual zombie movie — it’s something fresh, emotional, and full of life (even with all the zombies 😜). Loved every character, especially Akk Phu and Nunew. A must-watch for anyone who loves thrilling and heartfelt stories! 💥
Zomvivor completely redefines the zombie genre! Instead of the typical horror-only vibe, it blends humor, emotion, and character depth in such a refreshing way. Every lead actor brought their A-game — the chemistry and acting were top-notch. Boss is amazing once again,he added so much charm and intensity to the story. Nunew was outstanding as always — expressive, natural, and totally captivating. Each character had their moment to shine, making the whole show unforgettable. If you’re tired of repetitive zombie plots, Zomvivor will surprise you in the best way possible. 🧟♂️💖

It definitely needs a Season 2 . Even though all the characters are all not likeable i really hate Mook the most like she helped free Pao when he was locked up for trying to kill them and that lead to many of the people dying but at the last when professor came to take Ning and Non , she ran and infected Non with the Auntie 's blood which will turn him into a zombie . Like I was so angry and sad at the same time 😡😭 . I was watching with my sister's and cried at that part . At the last clip they showed Non tied up to a chair and there was many zombies surrounding him . I actually cried like full on cry 😭😭😭 Was this review helpful to you?

Here goes my poetic headline. Honestly I wasn't expecting it to be this good especially as the title felt a little campy. There were elements in the show which I absolutely devoured. Definitely there were some things that could have been different but overall it's a much watch.Plot wise it was quite interesting. They had the typical start of a Zombie apocalypse universe and how it all started with one biochemical test but as the story went they added some new elements to the Zombie verse. The idea of Zombies having emotions and how they were repeating their course of action made so much sense. As usual there will be annoying characters and some really made me wanna slam the screen. What I loved the most about this show and what in my opinion sets it apart from other zombie shows I have watched is how it is not just a bunch of Zombies hurling at humans and them just fighting and trying to survive. They have enough time to elaborate and depict the whole situation that was going on as well as letting the main characters having a background story and space to develop. The ending made me loose my mind but I am glad they left the door for a potential s2.
The acting was definitely great. There has not been a single moment where it felt dull. I loved Boss's character so much (I am just in love).
Props to the crew for such amazing arrangement. The budget was there and they utlized it well. The zombie makeups were done with so much of care and I loved how much attention they pay to everything.
This definitely came as a surprise to me from DMD. What started as an interest to see my favorite cast turned into a rollercoster of emotion and trauma.
