Honestly, Eat The Rich
After watching 'The Elixir', I was hella sceptical about watching another zombie film. I mean, 'All of Us are Dead' and 'Kingdom' (both seasons) and 'Happiness' are some of my holy grail zombie shows, and 'The Elixir' was gonna do me like that? Nah, I was traumatized.I didn't wanna see another non-Korean zombie show. My trust was broken. That, coupled with the fact that I've been disappointed by some of the main character's acting chops in BLs b4.... my expectations were on gasping for breath on the floor. Despite all that, I was genuinely impressed by this.
What I Liked
🧟The overall story is what carries this. As a fan of zombie shows, I love how fresh (and sciency) this concept is. IDK who worked on the script, but hats off to them. They honestly made this story so very interesting to watch. If some things were done differently, I genuinely would have rated this as highly as I did 'All of Us are Dead.'
What I Didn't Like
🧟The acting - I'll not be naming names but yoh...! I was right. Some of these BL boys.... Please send them to acting school. My two cents are these: we know that actors can get by with good looks. It's been done over and over and over again. BUT!! With Netflix investing so heavily in Thailand, and companies obviously wanting to get themselves a piece of that pie, wouldn't it be better to have their actors do better so they can represent them - and Thailand - well on the global stage? Some of these guys have been acting for years, and they are still so stiff. HOW???? How can you not express more than 2 facial expressions? Oi🤦🏾♀️
🧟♀️We lost Lilly too early - She was one of the better actors in this (one of the best TBH), and I hate that we lost her to Zombieism when we did. IMO, she should've had a bigger role.
🧟♀️🧟♀️ - Why were the girlies written like that? - If it wasn't Fah with the phone, it was Mook(?) who let's an obviously unstable friend out, leading to unnecessary deaths. And let's not forget about little miss horrible, Prao. Seriously, does anyone know why she was so mean to literally everyone? Good Lord! Oh.... Also, Ning, I don't like a know-it-all. I just... If I rant about her, I'll never go to sleep, and it's already 1:20 am
🧟All the anger management issues and dumb decisions - I understand that it is a high-stakes, high-stress situation. But did we need to keep arguing that much? Not only did it waste time, but it also cost lives. In terms of dumb decisions, the pple in this show acknowledge that they've seen zombie movies before. Now, with that in mind, why would you
1. Start running after a friend who's been bitten in the name of saving them?
2. Ditch the survivor group to go find your bitten friend to apologize to them?
3. Start a fucking cheer routine in the name of trying to get your friend back? Isn't silence the ONE cardinal rule of any zombie world?
Bro... The number of times these pple made me want to punch my TV. Lawd Jesus *rubs temples*
🧟Continuity Issues - Some of those scenes needed better consistency
Random Thoughts
a. Tutor, I did not know the power that you hold. You beautiful, beautiful man. Whoever styled his hair, tell him to keep it like that, always
b. I kept expecting to see Noeul. Zee&Nunew were present, so were Keng&Namping as well as Max&Nat, so whenever I saw Boss, I expected Nouel to pop out, even though I'd gone through the cast list and seen he wasn't in it😅
c. I really would like a 2nd season. The final ep ended at a really incredible point - Full zombie son, half zombie mother, and human daughter... That is such a cool place to start the 2nd season from. Plus, let's not forget the pple on the roof. It's been a month since they were left there. Clearly, they were able to restrain Non, but how have they survived (if at all) for an entire month? What have they been eating? Will the Patron be exposed for his misdeeds? His secret is known by a lot more pple now, so I'd love to see what they'd do with the info.
Basically, there's so much good content they could give us in season 2, but... Will we ever get that 2nd season, or will Netflix make it another 'All of Us are Dead' situation?

Don't stop watching Zomvivor after the first eps!
So actually this isn't really my genre..But I was waiting for this series and was watching it especially because it's from Domundi, because I like and know most of the actors and for ZeeNuNew.
And I have to say the first episode was a bit boring and complicated for me, but the episodes after that made me stay.
~Story~
I think the story is pretty interesting and makes sense, some points were maybe a bit complicated tho.
What I liked is that most things made sense within the next episodes.
~Acting/Cast~
As I said I know most of the actors and really like them too.
And I have to say I'm not disappointed.
They all did such a great job!! The way they showed all these emotions and everything was just great!
~Music~
I guess I didn't pay much attention to the music because I was more paying attention to what was happening at that moment, but I think the music suited each scenes quite well.
~Rewatch value~
So even If there were some things I didn't LOVE, I'm happy with how Zomvivor turned out.
It was an exciting, emotional series I'd like to watch again! 😊
So all in all I'd say Zomvivor is such an interesting series which made me (who doesn't like to watch Zombie movies/series) really enjoy it!!

Zomvivor is more than just a survival thriller, it’s a powerful metaphor for the fragility of civilization, the limits of morality, the abuse of power, and the fight to hold onto humanity in extreme situations. The zombies aren’t just physical threats; they represent the socially excluded, the ones ignored or silenced by the system, forced to find ways to survive in oppressive environments. As the show puts it: “The best test subjects are the ones who have no choice.”
What really sets Zomvivor apart is how it challenges the usual zombie trope. These aren’t mindless monsters, they’re infected people who still show traces of humanity. That twist adds so much emotional depth.
The university setting works as a microcosm of privilege and power, where survivors have to navigate hierarchies, moral dilemmas, and social exclusion. It’s not just about fighting zombies, it’s about confronting rules, expectations, inequality, and personal demons. Trust, friendship, and family bonds are pushed to the limit, and unlikely alliances form in the chaos. Each group fights to survive using whatever strengths they have.
The cast is phenomenal. Every character feels emotionally layered and real. You can feel their fear, anguish, sadness, desperation, and guilt. The emotional weight and personal struggles are the heart of the series. The last two episodes had me in tears.
Each episode runs a little over an hour, but they fly by. The pacing is intense and gripping, with some plot twists that keep things fresh. The production quality is top-tier, stunning cinematography and a beautiful soundtrack. Already counting down to the next season cause there’s so much more story to tell.

It took a long time to come but come out was good
Let me make it clear first i watched this series as a someone who like zombie movie and series not as a bl fan and i enjoyed it, it was entertaining(actors did amazing job their acting was really good), messy(they did really well with this point to, production team put their good work here) and zombie where cruel like how they always been. Now for story line it was little bit dramatic but still ok(they have to many good and kind people who don't think with their mind but with heart) and yeah zombie have emotions too 😌

Run to watch it!
This series was soooo worth the wait. They did an incredible job with the editing. Loved the cinematography and how it felt like a movie the whole time. How they were able to maintain a balance with such a packed cast is beyond me. I loved the story and character development and the twists and turns and how characters who I thought would not have much screen time ended up totally surprising me in the end and others who were more prominent diminished a bit to balance it out. I wish it had more character back stories so I really hope there is a season 2 to explore more. The cliffhanger was awesome and gives hope for a great story potential in second season. Super proud of Boss Chaikamon's acting. He showed such a good range and control of his character. So happy he has been entrusted this role and this opportunity. He didn't disappoint at all and did the character proud. Was this review helpful to you?
nailed the story in it amazing
i seen so many zombie movies and shows and i can say this one out of all of the ones i seen, this one was more detailed and so into the story and acting, i would keep watching as many time over and over i watched it 3 times already and it just gets better and better each time, it put you on the edge of your seat and make you want to scream a little and also cry like they nailed it, i hope they make a season 2 and possibly a season 3Was this review helpful to you?
Worthy Entry Into the Genre
It was fantastic. The joy (at least for me) in teaching Monster Archetype theory has always been about the evolution of the genre.
Monster Archetype theory is predicated upon this idea: the monster and its stories that a culture creates gives you tremendous insight into the sociopolitical reality of that culture. To watch what the culture does over time with its monster stories allows you to understand what fears and ideology the "common man" has in any given time period. It's a Common Man approach to history (instead of the traditional Great Man Approach).
The writer's nailed the social commentary. This incarnation speaks directly to power with its full chest: economic power, patriarchal power, and legacy of power.
The script was brilliant (although I'm sure some things were lost in translation).
A powerful statement deeply rooted in global fears and anxiety about the control the ultra wealthy have been able to wrest from our democracies.
Highly recommend

This drama is honestly great
i genuinely enjoyed every aspect of this drama and don't have any complaints it was really enjoyable but its NOT for the weak 🥹 the acting and casting couldn't have been better along with the story. As sad as I was that some of my favorite characters died I think that made the story even more thrilling to watch. As well as there were some scenes that made me super annoyed and stressed like when Fahs phone was ringing and she kept running away while holding it instead of throwing it away like girl bffr but there always has to be someone like that ig🥀 Overall it's literally so good and I would definitely rewatch it againWas this review helpful to you?

Surviving the zombie apocalypse with the worst people you know
Look, I love a good complex character and I...am fine with zombies. While it's not my go to genre, I do love stuff like All of Us Are Dead and Train To Busan, The Last of Us, etc. So I wasn't opposed to this one, plus it had a lot of actors I like (Boun you were lost too soon lol).However. If you're going to have a zombie show where the protagonists are knowledgeable about zombie lore, you either need to keep from making them do things that happen in these shows because they are stupid or give a good reason why these people would do these stupid things. But this show did not do the work. People talked openly about zombie lore and yet still did the most deadbrained things, like untie a dude who has fully tried to murder two others or leave your phone on when you know that noise attracts the dead people. Or stand there and CALL OUT to a zombie knowing she's a zombie. They did some quick "dude's off his meds" explanation for that one but come on.
And that's not even getting into how much they all sucked. Honestly if I were with any group but the cheerleaders I probably would have pulled a Pao and tried to offer myself to the zombies too, just to get away from them. I also felt like they gave us a bunch of characters who, sorry, were way more interesting than the main trio of Ning, Non, and San,...and then made us focus on those three anyway. I didn't necessarily like Prao either (I never do care for needlessly mean people, although I do like that the show never tried to explain her) but girlie had a point about them.
I also hated the ending. It's obvious sequel bait and I'm sure it'll get one, but it kind of made me want to slap Mook, lol. Like girl, I don't disagree that Ning acts like the protagonist in a drama (because she is), but you keep absolving yourself of some really stupid and/or cruel decisions by blaming her, lol. Shut up.
One thing I really did like and hope they expand on is this version of the zombies. *Is* the person still in there? And if they are, does that mean they can come back? I can't imagine not, because lbr they ain't leaving Nunew a mere zombie in any universe, but I will be curious to see how it pans out, if there is indeed a sequel. I really loved Lily doing her cheer, even if it led the zombies to them lol (and see, in this case them being stupid kind of makes sense). And she was in there enough to lead the other zombies away from her friends. I also was pretty interested in the mom and her dilemma - I love that sort of double life stuff.
Overall it was fine. It did most of the stuff that you expect from a zombie show, and it tried to do something a little different with the zombies themselves, although I expect the All of Us Are Dead comparisons will be inevitable. If there's a sequel I will probably watch, especially if they drop it all at once again, but I won't be chomping at the bit for it.

Definitely worth it!
I liked Zomvivor because it wasn’t just about zombies—it was about people. The show did a great job of showing how each character dealt with fear, guilt, and survival. I felt connected to their stories, and the mix of horror and emotion kept me hooked. It made me think about how people change when everything falls apart. What I Loved:
🎭 Strong performances from a talented cast
🧠 A plot that goes beyond gore
🎬 Cinematic visuals and an eerie atmosphere that elevate the tension

to start off the story was greatthe casting dont get me started I knew everyone.🤣🤣 tell me imma bl fan without telling me. they had everyone.🤣🤣 I bet they paid a pretty penny for the casting crew. Everytime I saw I face I was like dang him too 🤣🤣 but over I liked the Story h I was two eps In and already didn't like zee and the main girl character and when people got bit I was laughing maybe if we knew the backstory first of the characters I would cry in all of us are dead there was build up on all the characters I cried Everytime but some of this was preventable in this drama everyone was hiding something and ngl only real person was prao the girl I loved her only person who had a little sense but overall I gave it a 7 they had potential to do better but floped. will forever love the cast and the storyline was good and the acting was so great love tha. I would definitely recommend worth your time and the ending was a lil unexpected but liked it that's all sorry I like to yapp
