LOVE IT

I seriously loved this K-drama, Spirit Fingers. It’s not just cute — it hits different. The love story of the main characters is so soft and emotional that you end up smiling like a sigma clown in love 😭💘. The vibes are perfect, the colors, the art, EVERYTHING.

What I liked the most is how the Spirit Fingers group feels like a real friend-family. When the characters meet, it’s so natural that you feel like you’re sitting right there with them, listening to their chaos and laughs. It gives you that warm “I belong here” feeling, and not every K-drama does that.

Honestly, if this drama dropped on Netflix, it would explode — like TOP 1 worldwide, no joke.
And bro… Jo Joon-young? The way he acts?? SO CLEAN. SO GOOD. He understood the assignment 100%.

I totally recommend Spirit Fingers if you want something wholesome, aesthetic, funny, and emotional at the same time. It’s the kind of drama that makes you feel better after watching it and stays with you for days But bro… I didn’t really love the ending. I wanted WAY more screentime of Ki-geong and Woo-yeon together 😭🔥. They barely showed them, and it felt like they rushed half of the webtoon into the last episode. I was like, “writers, are you okay in your mind??” 😭💀

MY POOOKIEEESSS!!!

Spirit Fingers!💙✨

Overall 10/10
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I really enjoyed Spirit Fingers!! It's a perfectly paced feel-good drama. Each character felt so unique and I felt like I could connect to everyone. Red Finger (Nam Gijeong) my beloved - I will miss him so much. The pookiest pookie ever! I loved the friendships and how they felt so authentic. 12 episodes felt perfect - I will agree that episode 12 was a but rushed, but it didn't feel like it was missing anything, which is why I loved it and why I feel like the pacing was perfect! It doesn't have to make perfect sense; it's a story with a feel-good ending! (What's not to love!?) I'd be super happy to see a second season but also very content if it ends here! SP taught me so much and I'm sure you'll learn a lot too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!✨

A coming of age story done right.

Highschool themed dramas are a rare watch for me these days. So i was pleasantly surprised that a teen led kdrama which is also a webtoon adaptation managed to amaze me this much!!

This show's greatest strength is definitely the cast as well as the characters. Not one boring or dull character to watch. Of course not every single one had a complete arc in this show but that may be due to the fact that this is a webtoon adaptation and could possibly have more seasons *wink wink* anyhow the cast for spirit fingers club/group really did well portraying their individual characters well. I rarely find myself wishing for something fictional to be real and in this instance, the spirit fingers club is one of them. It feels so heartwarming to see this found family type of setting that really helped nurture the growth of the FL so much!

I def think the romance in this is so darn cute i couldn't help but squeal !! I love the dynamic between the two leads and their awkward and angsty tension with romance. I have been CONVINCED to read the webtoon asap so i get to see their romantic development for a while as i'm a slow reader and it would be fun to witness their romantic development.

If i have to convince anyone to watch this drama, i'd just say that it's probably one of the best dramas i've seen this year and probably the only school drama i've enjoyed thoroughly in a long time.

This Drama Made Me Feel Sixteen Again (In the Best Way)

I enjoyed this drama so much. It made me feel like a teenager again—with all the frustration, anxiety, angst, timidness, and low self-esteem that come with that age. Spirit Fingers isn’t just a romance drama; it’s a coming-of-age story that touches on experiences people of all ages can relate to.

All the characters were well written, even the side characters who didn’t get full development. I also appreciated how conflict was handled. The initial reactions felt appropriately youthful, but the way the characters worked through their issues was surprisingly mature.

One of my favorite moments was the conflict between the female lead and her louder, fangirl-type friend. It resonated with me because I was going through something similar in real life. It beautifully portrayed how friendships can strain when one friend begins to find her voice, and the other—still clinging to old dynamics—lashes out without understanding why. Watching them face the hurt, uncover the insecurity underneath, and come back together was incredibly moving.

I also loved the other friend who acted more mature but still had moments that reminded you she was her age. And the male lead completely stole my heart. He’s living life exactly as he should—embracing the highs and lows without overthinking or worrying too much about others’ opinions. His authenticity is something I really admire. Because he doesn’t overanalyze, he naturally makes more mistakes, but his transparency, genuine apologies, and willingness to learn make him incredibly endearing.

I enjoyed the second-lead friends-to-lovers storyline, and I especially loved the older members of the Spirit Fingers group—Black Finger in particular. But the character who moved me the most was the younger brother. It was so sweet yet bittersweet to see a prodigy who is growing up too quickly, almost automatically, without getting to just be a kid. Every time he supported his sister, it instantly brought tears to my eyes.

I also appreciated the main character’s relationship with her mother. It was complex and frustrating in the way mother–daughter relationships often are, yet you could always feel the deep love underneath.

Honestly, I think I love this drama so much because I felt every emotion while watching it. It brought me right back to my own teenage years, and that connection made the experience incredibly meaningful.

comece a ver o qto antes

Don’t be fooled by this drama’s sweet and innocent appearance — it actually tackles some heavy themes. But thanks to its light and playful tone, watching it never feels overwhelming; instead, it brings warmth and comfort.

It’s not easy to find yourself, nor to live up to other people’s standards, especially when those expectations come from your own parents. That inevitably leads to feelings of inferiority — just like with the FL. Her mother drove me crazy with the constant comparisons to her brothers and the pressure to “try harder,” instead of supporting her on her path to growing up. There are no perfect or identical people. Everyone has their own unique color to shine with.

The Spirit Fingers group was quirky, chaotic, hilarious, and most importantly — supportive. They encouraged each other and lifted each other up, which was exactly what Song U Yeon needed to feel alive.

This drama definitely needed a few more episodes. There was still so much to explore — the stories of the other “fingers,” as well as more about Song U Yeon’s and Nam Gi Jeong’s friends. Instead, we ended up with a rushed finale.

silly-sweet-funny, but emotional

i did not think to start this drama at all, but seeing the chemistry between the second leads (nam gi rin x seon ho), i decided to give a chance, and did not regret it! all the characters were alive, each with his own interesting story that made them real.

at first it is easy, without too much drama, but at the end of the emotions go beyond scale. and that didn't make the drama anything negative at all. on the contrary - filled with important topics: self-acceptance, self-respect, friendship, family relationships. and of course first love (a little different that is often portrayed).

i would like to see how the problem in the family of the FL was solved, because parents (adult people) do not change so quickly. i could not understand her mother, why did she focus only on her sons ??? her father.. i was scared every time he appeared on the screen.

but anyway - i will miss this story ! !

absolutely amazing

spirit fingers is an amazing show!! though i think the art of drawing could've been shown more properly in this series,as an artist myself i love it! i loved the relationship between the leads and the second leads. i understand y many people find the FL frustrating...i do too but i relate to her. she suffers a lot in her home with her parents everyday and she has felt invisible everywhere even in her own house! i understand how people think the FL is annoying for keep questioning her relationship and making it annoying but as someone who has felt invisible her entire life i understand her! its hard to know that someone actually finds u nice and pretty and intresting when those exact points has been your flaw your entire life! i undersatnd her doubts and shes just a kid...her parents were really bad and she couldn't really trust anyone and i get that! we cant hate her for that! the actress that plays the FL is beautiful!!! maybe thats y many people cant accept the fact that she is insecure! insecurity doesnt just vanish cuz a popular boys starts liking u! u may feel amazing at one point but its only natural to feel insecure again once in a while and people need to understand that! i feel like they kept the FL's character real and i love that! im not even in the story but i feel not fair and petty when the ML gets the acting chance and stuff when he has never tried or worked for anything in his life but the FL gets nothing even tho all she does is work! i understand her anger and i love that she was mature enough to apologize! i think her parents need to grow tf up!

Worth the hype!

I expected a lot from this drama as a fan of the webtoon for YEARS and safe to say, my expectations were met at the top of the pinnacle literally!! Viewing it from a kdrama fan perspective, storyline is fun to say at the least; she joins a drawing club, she starts feeling more secure and comfortable around the group and as a result, starts opening up more and also she re-discovers our weirdo male lead and he becomes both an emotional and physical support pillar for her. Its also one of the best "He fell first, she fell harder" troupes 🤣. Y'all wont regret watching this drama, the male lead is so hilarious and has the exact opposite aesthetics with his job, and female lead is so shy and socially awkward that it actually makes me proud seeing her interact with others 😭🤌

Fresh and cute schooldrama

this is not an usual school drama, you will always laughing ini every episodes, believe me! the main reason is ML character, He is very ini love with the FL, He loved her first and also more. Whereas ML is definition of a perfect boy, meanwhile the FL is insecure girl/ordinary girl. He loved her too much and very clingy, but thats the comedy. Let's watch it together because you're sure to fall in love with Cho Junyoung Oppa❤🥰 Friendship here're also not too complicated, so you won't be stressed

Peak Loserism in Love + Coming of age drama!

After seeing so many tiktoks of the next loser in love I just had to start watching Spirit Fingers! I never actually read the manhwa (when I was still in my webtoon phase—IM NOT IN MY WEBTOON PHASE ANYMORE at least not for now) but always heard good things about it, and might actually end up starting it after this ends!

Spirit Fingers tells the story of Song Uyeon, a student in high school who has played her entire life safe. She only has 2 close friends, does average in school, isn't known for being the prettiest or the most stylish, and spends majority of her life comparing herself to others. Growing up with a strict (lowkey verbally abusive) mom and 2 genius brothers (one older and one younger—oh man, middle child problems...) hasn't exactly boosted her self-esteem, and instead has been a great part of why she always thinks less of herself. She continues playing the role of a background character she thinks herself to be, that is, until one day she encounters a drawing club who asked her to model for them. They call themselves Spirit Fingers, an unusual group consisting of college students, middle aged adults, and eventually, Uyeon herself (and also very soon some loser named Gi Jeong). They meet every Sunday, choosing a theme to dress up in and sketch each other's costumes. And while it really does sound weird, it also becomes a place of comfort, as well as Uyeon's strength when it comes to facing problems in life. The more meetings she goes to, the greater her self confidence grows, and seeing a found family be formed is always one of the most heartwarming parts in these types of dramas. They all play a part in getting her to open up, to be brave when she should be, and to love herself more! This drama explores many different themes and relationships, such as friendships, romantic relationships, lifelong connections, as well as the harder to watch ones like divorced parents, bullying, and family strains. They might not be given a lot of time to explore each one further, and I'd describe them as small, but impactful.

Onto the romance !!!
Like I mentioned, Gi Jeong, another high school student who's also the little brother of one of the members becomes part of Spirit Fingers too. He's known for being popular, a model for a shopping mall, but he does very poorly in school. I love that he's a little dumb like that because why should these guys always be the entire package. He's terrible at spelling, grammar, says the wrong phrases, but he makes up for a lot of that with his endearing personality! While his encounters with Uyeon don't start off very pleasant, the 2 eventually hit it off and become close friends enveloped in an unfortunate one-sided love for Gi Jeong. He's the type of person that Uyeon envies the most, someone who seems to have it all, the looks, the attention, the style—unfortunately, not the academic brain—but he's confident in what he does and who he is. That's something that Uyeon has never gotten used it. He becomes a pillar of confidence for her whenever she runs into trouble. And let's not act like Uyeon doesn't have anything to offer. She's such a kind person and always a reliable friend, it's just sad to see her make so many self sacrifices for the people she loves at the expense of herself. However, she helps Gi Jeong grow into someone more mature, and more caring about the people in his life. You get to see their chaotic friendship turn into something more as their relationship grows deeper and they're genuinely so cute!! Honestly one of the top losers in love that I've watched so far. Also in case anyone else loves love, there are actually a lot of hinted romantic relationships in this drama and it seems like everyone's gonna be coupled up soon! Unrealistic, who cares, they're all so adorable and made for each other. I will say tho another prominent couple are the college students, Geu Rin (total girl crush btw), and Koo Seon Ho, who've been friends their entire lives. Another poor guy stuck in a one-sided crush!

The actor for Gi Jeong, Cho Jun Young, does an AMAZING job of portraying his character, literally one of the most animated people I've ever seen. He was absolutely perfect for portraying Gi Jeong and even without reading the webtoon I know he brought the character to life and did him justice. Really hope he gets an even bigger breakout role soon. Also always awesome seeing Park You Na—loved her since true beauty! She plays Geu Rin so well too, and them as siblings is exactly the chaos I want to see on screen. All the side characters were also great. I do want to comment on Bo Min and Park Ji Hu's acting though. Bo Min does have the image of the gentle and handsome college student down but acting comes off just a bit stiff at times. Park Ji Hu plays the awkward low self-esteem character decently, but I can definitely see room for improvement. It's awkward but a little wooden, and no I definitely don't believe it's because she's "supposed" to be awkward. I think I would have enjoyed her portrayal more if it seemed a bit more natural. Nonetheless, she's still a young actor and doing a great job.

Overall this is a really great coming of age drama and a good reminder to love ourselves a little more. Check it out if you're looking for something unique, fun, messy, heartwarming, and romantic!
