You need to have a really low standards or be a 13 years old girl to like it.
I honestly tried to finish it, but I couldn't: every 15min something so stupid or cringe happened that I closed my laptop. It didn't evoke emotions which I usually feel when watching romance genre - everything seemed so unnatural and far-fetched that it was hard to sympathize with the main characters.FL is annoying and extremely stupid. She makes illogical things all the time and continues sending contradicting signals to ML.
ML is confused by this and cannot pull his shit together to tell her what he feels towards FL.
I gave it a score 1.0 just to counterbalance tons of schoolgirls (the target audience of this show) who gave it 10 in order to save you from wasting time. Otherwise it is a solid 5.0! There are so many better shows than this...

My On Repeat Watching KDrama
I know it might be boring and so typical it drama, but somehow we need this kinda drama where Kdramas out there getting more intense and somewhat sometimes out of the box!But for sureeee this drama sooo FUN! I really enjoyed watching this drama and been rewatching this drama like multiple times in the nearest gap!
ImSol and SeonJae really love and care each other with their own way, but their communication getting better and growing day-by-day. I just love how they get mature from 19yo to 34yo. So far this one of some KDrama that I keep rewatching until I'm gonna feel bored.
If you love high school to early adult romcom drama with the hint of time travel and a little thriller, GO WATCH this drama!

THE BEST DRAMA IN MY HEART!!!!! 1000000/10
Lovely Runner has become one of my all-time favorite dramas - a rare 10/10 for me! I almost never write reviews, but this drama is just that incredible. The acting was phenomenal, with both the female and male leads delivering absolutely outstanding performances. The story had everything: it was funny, heartwarming, touching, thrilling, and beautifully balanced a mix of rom-com, melodrama, crime, and fantasy.The soundtrack was so good as well; every song was a masterpiece that perfectly heightened the emotions of each scene, making me feel every moment deeeeeply :( And the best part? The ending was wrapped up flawlessly - satisfying and complete, without any of those rushed or empty feelings that many dramas leave behind.
Lovely Runner is a truly exceptional and well-crafted drama that I can’t recommend enough!

Beautiful and Warm Lovestory
I have no words, it definitely surpassed my expectations (which were already high). Since everyone has a different idea around time travel, these stories is always kinda confusing, but I liked how there seemed to be a theme of fate (good or bad) and Sol just kept bulldozing it until she got the result that she wanted. I loved every single character (minus the stalker of course) and the episodes were so funny, I was smiling the whole last episode. And Sunjae was a lovable loser in love, Sol was really his one and only. They were such a cute couple, not too much angst to be honest. I loved the OST (Sudden Shower ❤️). Overall this was such a warm love story, never got bored or wanted it to end.Was this review helpful to you?

I don't know why people are being so mean to this drama. I mean it was a perfect rom com for me . It had perfect mystery and twists and turns. I personally loved it. If you think that fl character was not good or just dumb then you definitely don't like rom coms the way I like them. FL and ML acting was really good and right on point. The way she tries really hard to go back in time or the way fl takes the advice that sun jae gave her to live. I feel that's how the rom coms should be made because every other drama has same story line poor fl and rich ceo type ML. I mean it's so overrated these days. I personally think that if you are thinking of watching this drama then go for it you'll definitely not regret.Ps- it's a happy ending 😉

I went into this drama based on the 9.0 score it has on MDL, but was a little dubious because the written reviews were so bad... it almost made me not watch it.This drama is a great watch, a nice script/story that maybe deserved better execution, but all in all, what's not to enjoy about our leads?
They had chemistry, they acted well, their storyline was good... what is so wrong?
Well, I'm not going to lie, there are quite a few plot holes, the time travel could have been done a lot better.... The killer, coming out of nowhere and following through time was really badly done, but the essence of the drama, the connection between 2 people who love each other, and always find ways to bump into one another regardless of the year (back or forward) was a nice watch.

Lovely Runner" is a very good and excellent drama; the best thing about it is the acting. It's full of emotions. From the beginning till now, every scene is beautiful. We're at the 11th episode, but there hasn't been a single scene that's boring or feels like a side character is dragging the story. "Lovely Runner" is hands down one of the most romantic dramas I've ever watched. The overflowing love between Sunjae and Sol is just too adorable to handle. Sunjae's constant devotion to Sol, never letting her slip from his mind, melts my heart every time.And let's talk about Sunjae's second-hand embarrassment – it's like watching a cute puppy trying to impress his crush. Every awkward moment he faces just adds to the charm of the show. And the comedy scenes with the whole family? Pure gold. I couldn't stop laughing at their antics.
It was a decent watch, offering a strong chemistry between the lead actors and a fair share of romance. For viewers craving sweet romance, it's a perfect fit. However, it didn't quite hold onto intensity and suspense like some other dramas. What I predicted in the fourth or fifth episode turned out to be the main plot twist.
But what really surprised me was how second lead steps up to save Sunjae – talk about unexpected heroics.
From high school sweethearts to a married couple, "Lovely Runner" takes you on a journey filled with love, laughter, and a hint of danger. It's a must-watch for anyone who enjoys a good romantic drama with too much romance 😜

Surprisingly good
I was at first hesitant to watch this because there wasn't anything in the title that made it sound interesting. But surprisingly, this rom-com is such a breath of fresh air.From the visuals, backdrop, actors, dialogue....close to perfection :) It is not like your typical rom-com which gets boring after a while. This one continues to deliver a great and interesting storyline.
It is my first time to watch Byeon Woo Seok and he nailed being a high schooler. So did Kim Hye Yoon for that matter.
The camaraderie of the cast is apparent in their interaction and each carried out their roles impeccably.
This is now the only kdrama that I am looking forward to now that QOT has finished its run. Can't wait for the next episodes...

don’t think it needed 16 episodes but it's definitely worth your time
really enjoyed this drama, but i don’t think it needed 16 episodes, it could’ve ended just fine at 12, since some parts felt a bit repetitive. I loved the destiny theme, every time they met again it gave me such a warm feeling. The way Sungjae looks at Sol is so sweet and comforting! I did feel a bit sorry for Tae Sung, but it was nice how Sol cared for him too. And the final plot twist, where the story turns into a movie script, was just amazing, i loved it so much.//

Eu realmente gostei muito desse drama, mas não acho que precisava de 16 episódios, poderia ter terminado tranquilamente com 12, já que algumas partes pareceram um pouco repetitivas. Ainda assim, eu amei o tema sobre destino, cada vez que eles se reencontravam era reconfortante. O jeito que o Sungjae olha para a Sol é encantador! Eu fiquei com um pouco de pena do Tae Sung, mas foi bonito ver como a Sol cuidou dele também. E o plot final, que a história se transforma em um roteiro de filme, foi simplesmente incrível, eu amei demais.

Mind you, the only Kdrama that i watched 2024
First of all, i just want to said kudos to all the actors and actress of this show.The acting is such a top notch , easy to watched and comfortable to my eyes (><) especially the FL and ML.
They portrays the characters like so good especially hye-yoon nimmmm, shes such a good actor. I swear you, she’s can pull and twist the character itself like very smooth and woo seok also good, portrays sunjae characters and it left a deep impression until now. I think sunjae will remain a as “good friends” for him for a while.
Help: everyone still on the restaurant… T-T (me too)
Maybe the annoying part is they keep repeating the same scene again and again and i usually skip that but nothing majors.
This drama gives you a roller coaster emotions.
Sweet, angst, sad, butterflies.
And i love this one dialogue when the scene with the haelmoni :
“Memories don’t disappear.
Everything you see, hear, and feel..
Where do you think those memories go?
They seep into your soul.”
Not a perfect drama, but i would describe this drama as a “memory”. Theres phase when you look at the drama, you will remember the moment?, the feels while watching this and yes 👏🏻 the ost is everything.
