WARM AND HEALING, MORE THAN JUST A ROMANCE DRAMA

I TRY NOT TO GIVE SPOILER, BUT IDK HOW TO AVOID IT. OKEY, LET ME TELL YOU,
I watch this drama because i love both leads as an actors, and i love Hyeop eyes, he can express his feeling through his eyes, such a great actor, FR.. this story started when both ML, FL meet each other because of their company project in ART and design. Hyeop acting as main animator for this project, while sung kyung is a designer. they meet each other for the first time, but Chan already know Haran since few years ago. why he knows her? well u gotta watch the drama to know the reason.

Haran is tr#pped in her pasts, because some traumatised incidents happened in her lifes, losing many people she loves made her lose her cheerful personality. while Chan is a gentle, cheerful (who try to be happy) who also get hurts a lot before.. both of them hurt and suffered so much in their lifes, and they need comfort to gain strengh to continues their lifes.. its sad, but also enjoyful as we can see how happy they are to have each other.

there also some mysteries going on, as Chan doesnt remember his pasts, lost his memories and his way to remember his past is heartbreaking for me. i really feel for Chan so much, he got hurt since he's a kid with his parents issues, and now.............. involve in explosion, lose his memoriess... Chan deserve everything in this world, Haran as well.. so many things happened. and i recomment you to watch it... all characters are great, including our cute dog, genius.. all couples are amazing too, especially our MAIN LEADS, CHAN AND HARAN.. THIS DRAMA HEALS, GIVE US WARMTH, AND MAKE ME APPRECIATE THOSE PEOPLE AROUND US.... RECOMMEND TO WATCH

I am so glad I come across this in Disney, its such a breathe of fresh air. Amidst the mental issues that they encounter, the cinematography is great. The cast esp the siblings are gorgeous not to mention their grandmother! I love the coffee shop of Mr. Parks vibe. I just hope they get to heal and have a good ending! I just cant wait for the next episodes though...

The emotion I feel in every episode is simply indescribable.

It is as I always say: what is truly good in entertainment deserves to be celebrated.

For some time now, Korean dramas have not brought me the same sense of enchantment they once did. Because of that, I have greatly expanded the diversity of Asian productions I choose to watch.

In many ways, this has been wonderful, because each country brings its own value and unique perspective to this vast field. Yet, Korea gradually stopped being my first choice.

Now, only at episode five of the drama In Your Radiant Season, I can say with complete certainty: we are witnessing a true gem among K-dramas.

The emotion I feel in every episode is simply indescribable.

The characters are extraordinary, the script is brilliant, the direction impeccable, and the cinematography magnificent.

If you are not watching it yet, please give yourself the chance to experience this story and be captivated by it.

It is truly enchanting.

This drama just hit different, I feel a new sensation.

I love the storyline. This drama is built with a refreshing (anti-mainstream) plot. The writer incorporates a mysterious element about Chan's memories, which influences his treatment of Haran.

What amazes me are the details of this drama, which give me a new sensation. I love their outfits, I love the OST, I love the dialogue, and the cinematography, which warms my heart.

This story is perfectly executed by Lee Sung Kyung and Chae Jong Hyeop; their chemistry is excellent. I felt the trauma when I saw Haran's eyes and the sadness hidden in Seanu Chan's eyes.

This drama will always hold a special place in my heart. Goodbye long winter, I will live this life without regrets 👋

Imperfect, but definitely worth a watch

This story has some unrealistic plot points, some uneven story telling, and meanders at times. But it also never fully unravels like so many other dramas these days. By the end it tells a coherent story that feels intentional and that shows real character growth and poignantly explores its themes.

I really enjoyed having 4 separate and quite different types of romances to follow, and that the usual leads love triangle was subverted by it being with her already-dead boyfriend. Watching the ML/FL slowly fall in love was really lovely and beautiful. But they definitely dragged out the secret storyline too far, to the point where it was getting frustrating to watch, and it made the character arcs more rough than they could have been. The resolution for 3 of the 4 couples was perfect, but the second couple, which was at times even more compelling than the leads, completely putters out by the end. That was one of the most disappointing aspects of the show.

I also loved the emphasis on the non-romantic relationships. On the connection between the sisters, on the different relationships that each character had with their parents, both dead (or treated as dead) and alive, both those they were born to and those that became a stand in through choice and love.

Some of the acting performances were better than others. Kim Tae Young is a sweetie, but felt out of his league in this drama and made the youngest couple's storyline weaker than it could have been. Interestingly Oh Ye Ju was my favorite of the sisters, I loved her in every scene and she kept the youngest couple's storyline grounded enough to enjoy regardless. Han Ji Hyeon, who I have really liked in other roles, felt a bit one note here, possibly because the writing didn't give her much other choice. Lee Sung Kyung has that enchanting bubbly warmth and genuineness she brings to every role, but she still struggles to show the more subtle and deeper emotional energy in the quieter moments that would have made her character feel truly layered and alive.

The standout by far was Chae Jong Hyeop. I've never seen him in anything before this, but he has my attention. It is a lot easier to make an impact with a smoldering, closed off, reserved, mysterious ML. A ML who is open, generous, and upbeat is much more challenging to make compelling. But his Chan had me engaged and rooting for him from the start. At first I was confused by how Chan's happiness felt subtly forced at times, but I came to realize as we learned more of his backstory that each smile was an active choice, a decision to be happy in that moment, and you really felt this hard-earned hope and resilience stubbornly burning and alight even through all his moments of loneliness, fear, and pain. It made him seem so alive and grounded, and was a really beautiful and subtle characterization. He was also just as believable as the depressed loner without any hope in his past as the more mature ray of sunshine we saw in the present, and he brought such vulnerable and deep emotion to every scene. My heart ached so deeply for him at times. He was the heart and soul of the show, and what made it all work as well as it did.

This is not an addictive show you will binge watch obsessively, it is one you will be quietly drawn to throughout. And one that will hit you deeply in moments if you have the patience to allow it to unfold. There are some moments and some insights that transcend the drama and that I will think about months or years from now.

Beautifully crafted, emotionally resonant, but unable to carry the weight of its own twist

In Your Radiant Season begins with remarkable confidence. It’s beautifully made, warm in tone, and grows steadily through its early and middle episodes. The production is elegant, the pacing assured, and the ensemble feels grounded from the start.

But the twist is where the drama loses its footing. Not because the idea is inherently flawed, but because the execution never quite earns the emotional leap it demands. I could see where it was heading, and to be honest, I skipped Episodes 10 and 11. There’s a rawness in that stretch — something too close to real emotional bruising — and I simply didn’t want to sit through it. It’s only a show, but sometimes a storyline hits a nerve you don’t feel like reopening.

The supporting couples are the true highlight. Couples 2, 3, and 4 are consistently excellent, each with their own charm, rhythm, and emotional payoff. Their arcs feel lived‑in and rewarding, and they often outshine the main storyline.

The OTP is more complicated. Their interactions are engaging and often emotional, but Chan can be frustrating — a bit too “happy chappy” early on, without enough time to deepen that persona before the PTSD storyline arrives. His trauma is understandable, but the transition feels rushed. His grandmother, the potter extraordinaire, is one of the most compelling presences in the show, and we simply needed more time with her. Chan’s father, with his criticism, distance, and eventual redemption, follows a familiar K‑drama pattern. I understood what the show was aiming for, but it rang hollow for me.

Ha Ran, on the other hand, is lovely — steady, sincere, and quietly heartbreaking. All she wants is what she lost, and her emotional clarity is one of the drama’s strengths.

Even with its missteps, In Your Radiant Season remains a beautifully crafted drama with strong performances and a standout ensemble. It just can’t fully sell the twist that becomes its emotional centre. When it focuses on its supporting relationships — and on the quieter, more grounded moments — it shines brightest.

BEST PROPOSAL I'VE EVER SEEN IN KDRAMA HISTORY!

Not a K-Trauma! Something about this kdrama is soo comforting and warm. Tbh, it was very predictable that it might have a sad ending BUT this did infact not have a sad ending and I'm glad because everyone deserves a happy ending after all they've been through. The casting is PERFECT, the roles fit them all so much and all of them pulled off in their roles and acting. I love how they made me feel what they were feeling in that drama because of how good everyone's acting is. I love how my two favorite female actresses are both in this drama which are Haran and Hayeong! I LOVE THEM BOTH, like I said INCREDIBLE CASTING. Hayeong is so RELATABLE of all the 3 sisters, she's funny and witty. I like how they don't have a terrible family member or no villains at all in the show, in general. But instead they deal with their problems and trauma, which is already enough that they don't need villains in their life because they went through so much. Whoever had this idea of storyline, I LOVE IT. It's so unique about this seasons and all. I like how the FL's family had their own pair, even their grandmother. It's unique to see 3 granddaughters as well and all of them being good people. I like the coffee house owner and his dog GENIUS, something about his cafe is so comforting that I'd definitely be a regular everyday. I like how most of them KNOW to talk about what they're feeling to each other, like the ML and FL. Which isn't a common thing that I see in kdramas unlike this one. They have a way with words about life that's so inspiring. The story though seemed a bit rushed though... They could've made it 16 episodes. Like Hayeong and her pair, we didn't have enough screen time with them. I liked how slow burn it was in the beginning but the ending was just not it. I was wondering when she'd know the truth and it took too long like almost ep 11 and so on, I think. But I seriously wanted a whole episode wherein it could've been our favorite happy exciting episode and that's usually in ep 12 if it only had 16 episodes more. (Haran's dress is too plain and simple though in the end, but I loved Hadam's and Hayeong's dress) But I loved the proposal!!! THAT'S SO UNIQUE AND ADORABLE. I wish more songs were played though during their sad or happy moments. Also, I sobbed every episode. It was sooo good! Definitely rewatching again soon!

It felt like a hug, a comfort that i dont want to drift away in life

nothing grand BUT the story line really catches me. the amount of emotions and tears i let out in this drama really touched a slice of life in me. No one will understand until you are the one experiencing it.

What i absolutely love in this drama is there's no unnecessary scenario that could leave confusions in the viewer also the relationships of the characters is not a mess JUST PURE GREEN FLAGS 😭💖

My fantasy for today:
Looking for the day i met my own Seonu Chan that is so genuine and caring 🥺✨

Healing drama

This was such a cute, slice of life drama.

Each character felt explored and developed, and I found myself caring for every single one of them, which is rare in large cast dramas for me.

The teen couple stole my heart, it was a really sweet and both actors were amazing, hopefully this is the start of very long a prolific careers for both of them.

This features love in all life stages, which was very much appreciated. I really liked hown the grandma had her own story and wasn't there just as a plot prop.

Main couple, I did not expect less from these actors. They chose a truly great project. They played each of their roles flawlessly and made me cry with them, but also made me extremely happy in their happy moments.

My only slight issue was with the lack of development of the second lead couple, I guess it was ok, nothing extraordinary, when they had great potential in the beginning.

I actually don't think this could've been longer, with more ep maybe they would've dragged everything for too long, everything wrapped up nicely in the end.

Overall, best of 2026 so far.

great, but missing something

This drama felt like i was eating a meal, but it tasted like something was missing and i don’t know what.

The overal story and was interesting, but somehow could be better? I think it was just a bit dragging at some point. We (as watchers) could’ve known sooner what happened at that day.

I did like the warm feeling of this drama. All the characters were so sweet and full of love. it’s maybe not very realistic, but i loved it. I liked all the side couples tho, very very sweet! I hope we will all find a loving home surrounded with people full of love.

I think it’s still worth watching, just don’t expect a mind blowing crazy drama. Just a great lovely drama.

Ice Princess and Golden Retriever

This drama immediately caught my attention with its interesting plot. It might feel a bit confusing at first, but things slowly start to come together as you keep watching. The casting is solid, and I love the chemistry between the leads, plus the supporting characters are really good. Both the female and male leads suit the personalities of their characters perfectly. I mean, it’s Lee Sung‑kyung, her presence alone makes it worth watching.

It’s still too early to call it top-tier since only two episodes are out, but so far I’d give it a high rating. I'll edit my rating once I fully watch. If you enjoy romance with a bit of mystery, I definitely recommend giving it a try.

And if you’re looking for a romance featuring an ice princess and a golden retriever boy, this is a great pick. For me, it’s a solid 10/10 (so far)!
