Its like watching Soft Porn
This is a horrible series, nothing like the book. The actors are lacking and the storyline does not flow. All that it has going for it is the NC porn moments. All this series shows is toxic relationship are ok. Some of the actors are good, but the play out is horrible, all they want to focus on is the sex. Sad to see this is what BL how come down to. I notice it more then every NC is what is seeing the BL now, because no one has good actors or storylines to play things on and so they rely on NC only lol to funny this is what people want. Was this review helpful to you?

Too much raunchiness, presented as a BL series
Since the first episode, I've just seen unwanted groping, random kissing, and occasional consensual scenes with no underlying storyline. The lead actors are doing their best to make do with the weak storyline, giving their all, but without a solid base, I'm not sure how long it will sustain to keep the audience interested as the scenes become more repetitive. Hopefully, the coming episodes will pick up the pace in terms of storyline without the raunchiness, as the two lead actors have wonderful chemistry and the ability to perform well. Was this review helpful to you?
Addicting!
Jun and Sorn are so cute. They are a good match. Jun has a very expressive eyes that you can really feel his emotions. That when he is sad, the viewers will feel sad too.I also like the story of the main characters. They are in denial at first though it is obvious that they like each others very much. They feel jealous upon seeing one with other people, and i love it.
It is also good to note that Jun is already 30 years old but he fits his role very well. He looks young and very innocent.
Sorn also fits his role. He has a good body and being a possesive of Jun is so cute.
I am a doing a rewatch of all episodes because i love the main characters. I cant wait for the love story of Jun and Sorn to unfold as new episodes air.

A Beautiful Disaster, And I'm Kinda Living for It!!!
Let’s be honest, plot? Nowhere to be found. It feels like they tossed the script, looked at each other, and said, “Let’s just vibe.” Luckily, I read the book before watching, or I’d have been completely lost. If you're going in blind... good luck. The dialogue? Off. Like, weirdly off. Most of the time it’s just random one-liners with zero depth or connection. It’s like they forgot people actually talk with emotions. The second leads? Literal cameos. They pop in, do a line or two, and disappear like background props.
BUT....and this is a big but Boat and Oat? Their chemistry is on fire. Seriously. Every time they’re on screen together, it's electric. At first I was like, “Why are there so many NC scenes??” But plot twist: none of them felt unnecessary. They actually fit. That tension? That raw energy? Chef’s kiss.
Now, back to the chaos. Most of the cast doesn’t feel natural at all. Some of the acting is so stiff, it totally pulls you out of the moment. It’s a real shame, because the characters could be interesting. There's potential in the story, but it’s buried under clunky delivery and questionable pacing.
And can someone please explain why random kids are delivering coffee out of nowhere?? Like?? Make it make sense. Honestly, the whole thing is a hot mess. But weirdly enough... a deliciously messy one. You kinda can’t look away.
Props to the leads for doing their best to hold it together. They’re pouring their hearts out, even when the writing gives them nothing to work with. But let’s be real without a stronger foundation, I don’t see how this will keep viewers hooked. It's already starting to feel repetitive.
Final verdict? If you’re here for logic, depth, or tight storytelling… maybe skip it. But if you're in the mood for steamy chemistry, emotional chaos, and some good ol’ beautiful nonsense go ahead and press play. Just don’t forget to lower your expectations and embrace the mess.

A trainwreck if it weren´t for Boat/Sorn and Oat/Jun
Was I watching this show religiously every sunday? ... yesIs this show pretty bad? ... also yes
Boat and Oat (the actors of Jun and Sorn) are doing so much of the heavy lifting here. If they had gotten different actors for them this show would have been beyond terrible. Paired with the fact that their characters are the only ones with solid writing you can basically only watch this show for them. They're not perfect but definetly the (only) highlight of the show!
The other couples are written terribly.
Why am I getting 3 nc scenes per episode for people I barely know? (I skipped through basically all of them. They don't work if I don´t know anything about these characters.) I get what they were going for with Champ and Thai. You can see glimpses of their dynamic and the deeper problems in their relatioship but it never gets addressed satisfyingly.
Why is the relationship between two women mainly happening off-screen and they just tell us about it later-on? If you don´t want to write about them that´s fine but just leave them out completely instead of giving us this half-baked mess.
The other characters in the show are either incredibly under-written or their storylines go absolutely NO-WHERE. Why exactly does Sorn's brother show up in the last few episodes he does absolutely nothing and then leaves...
Apart from the writing the post-production is terrible. The amount of times that the odd (and way too loud) music or the weird editing completely took me out of the show is insane.
All of my plenty critiques aside I did like the show (and by that I basically exclusively mean Jun and Sorn's story) and had a great time laughing at the badness of it all. If that is what you want in a show then go nuts. Just beware!

Not Really Bad, But Not that Great Either
I really don't know where to begin with this series. I like Jun (Oat) in most of the series that he's in, and I believe this is the second series that he's a main character. He was a main character in So Much In Love, and I believe it was a bomb in every sense of the word. LOL! I guess the best way to review this series is to do the tried and true PROS versus CONS routine. So, here we go:PROS:
1) All of the characters, the main couple and the side couple, are all good-looking guys, especially Oat (Jun) and Boat (Sorn). The girls are cute too. It made it so much easier to get through this series, knowing how good-looking the cast was. Also, the chemistry between Oat and Boat was pretty darn good. They truly seemed very comfortable with each other during their scenes, which made many of the scenes look good, at least from a cinematic standpoint. Oh, and Jun (Oat) has a very nice rear-end (butt) that is prominently displayed in either episode 3 or 4 (Sorn takes notice, LOL).
2) The sex scenes were HOT HOT HOT! That was the highlight of the series. The sex scenes were seductive, wild, and kinky. I believe that most of the folks tuned in to the series just to see the sex scenes (I was one of them). Also, there was a hot sex scene in episode one, and a hot sex scene in at least 9 or 10 more episodes. There was just enough sex to keep you returning to see the next episode. LMFAO!
3) The cinematography was nice. You could tell that MFlow Entertainment invested some time and money into this series. It didn't look like a cheaply made series. Granted, it's not on the level of GMM-TV, but with this series, it comes fairly close.
4) Although it had a few, it didn't have many of the common tropes and stereotypes that are normally seen in a BL series. Also, the tropes that were in the series, it appeared the series attempted to address them, such as the trope of bottom vs. top. In the series, Jun states that he "wants to try being a bottom, to see if he likes it." Then, after Sorn tops him, he seems to like it enough to be a bottom for the rest of the series. LOL!
5) Finally, this is a series that's NOT about uni boys from the faculties of engineering and medicine! That is always a PRO in my opinion. If we don't see any more engineering and medical school student BLs anytime soon, I know I won't be all too unhappy about it.
Now for the CONS. Unfortunately for this series, the CONS are easy to annotate. But this does NOT mean that the series was that bad, because it wasn't, IMO.
1) The main issue I have with this series is that it was all over the place as far as the plot was concerned. Yes, it's supposed to be an "office romance" story between a boss and an intern. We've seen this kind of plot numerous times. But this series (as far as the plot is concerned) was just not good (other than the sex). You couldn't tell if this series was a romcom (romantic comedy), a lakorn, or some kind of pure drama or comedy. It had a few highlights, but the plot had more holes than a golf course. There was little to no romance in the series, just sex. There wasn't a lot of comedy, and there was a lot of melodrama to make it more of a traditional lakorn. What may have helped the plot was being given a little background about Sorn and Jun. Many of the MDL posters, who had read the novel, commented that Sorn and Jun had a backstory. Well, this series didn't go into what that backstory was.
2) Boat, not having nearly as much screen time, and Oat, seemed flat, stolid, and very unemotional. Other than in the sex scenes, where he appeared to be a sex hungry dog, the rest of his performance was just flat. There's no other way to describe it. I think the series was trying very hard to make Sorn a troubled but likeable character. But it just didn't show. Many posters, including myself, just didn't like Sorn.
3) Oat was much better with his character. But, you could tell he was a little too mature for portraying "such a young" character. He's actually over 30 playing a young twenty-something. They (the production company) could've made Jun's character NOT quite so young, even though they may have been directly following the novel.
4) Finally, the series has already set up the ending for Sorn and Jun to get back together, when they probably shouldn't. Sorn used Jun as nothing more than a sex object, and Jun fell for it and called it love. How cheesy can you be, even for a BL?
I didn't have much comment about the music, as that wasn't something I was concentrating on. But I think it was okay. I chose to write this review before viewing the final episode, as I can guess how it will be. As I just previously stated, Sorn and Jun are going to get back together and probably have some great make-up sex to finish out the series. And, I'll be watching for it, too. LMFAO! This series consistently received around the mid-7s for a rating, and IMO, that seems pretty accurate. It was better than some (i.e., So Much in Love, What the Duck 2), and not as good as others that had sex as the mainstay of the plot (such as Friends Zone, Bed Friend, etc.).

There's no future in this pair
The notion that love conquers all is severely tested in this morally dubious Thai BL series. Boat Yongyut Termtuo looks and plays to perfection the sexually amoral Sorn, who lacks nothing but conviction in his sexual prowess and entitlement as a top. The justification for this sad reflection on contemporary Thai social values among young gays (or at least among the writers of these fictions) is the arrival at Sorn's workplace of a new young intern, Jun, played with genuine sincerity by Oat Pasakorn Sanrattana. Jun is not conscious of his homosexual tendencies, but his erect penis when in the close presence of Sorn persuades him otherwise. The sexual journey of these two men and their reluctant acceptance that an emotional bond, partnering their sexual unions, can't keep them apart, forms the core of this storyline. If this description sounds interesting, it's worth noting that the show's creators have done their best to sabotage its success by setting it into 12 one-hour-long episodes, way beyond the capacity of the story's plot to sustain. The result is many scenes of filler, repetition, and uninteresting, unnecessary side characters, including a new protagonist in the last episode, who is promptly dispatched to enable the Happy Ending everyone has been holding out for, for some time.
The hero of the story is Jun, who viscerally comprehends that Sorn could be the right partner for him. Sorn, on the other hand, is the "stubborn" of the title, refusing to abandon any of his sexual behavioural traits, no matter how attached he has become to Jun. The fraud put out by this series is that Sorn will evolve to become a faithful, devoted spouse to Jun, but the creators have traded any chance of a realistic or hopeful ending for their preference for lots of gratuitous sex scenes. This relationship is headed for disaster; any imagining that the two principals have worked out a way forward is just wishful thinking.

Escapades of a man-child and his student Jun
My stubborn doesn't pretend to be what it's not. It's blunt. It's crude. It's raw. It's definitely for adults. Sorn's entry into the series clearly defined the direction this was going to take. Your sensibilities may be shocked for a few moments, but the guile he uses to trap Jun should be studied. Sorn being the 'kind' person that he his proceeds to provide tutelage to a naive and clueless Jun.Jun, previously identifying as straight, has shown to have since changed his desire with their meeting. The thing is, Sorn uses every trick possible to get a rise out of Jun, in both senses of the word. The tricks seemed to have worked on Sorn himself as he fell for Jun. Inexperienced Jun begins to question his intent and the contents of his heart. It is within this chaos that fun begins.
Sorn is a very polarizing character. Either you love him or you don't. He feels protective of Jun but also his chief adversary. It is only later that it's revealed that his tactics hid the feelings that grew for him. Twisted in the past hurt of being accused of 'being with a minor', he desires Jun but is afraid of being caught up in another situation that will be painful to him. Sorn is a master at sex but terrible with relationships. Platonic and intimate share the same fate. He will not entertain anyone who does not serve his purpose. He stayed true to himself and, in the process, hurt Jun time and time again.
The series was entertaining for the most part, but there were times it wasn't. Jun's curiosity and lack of respect for himself placed him in positions he should not have been. Sorn's caustic tongue was too abrasive at times. The bathroom tap-out was not a pleasant watch. The fml with no questions asked, just pounced and ate. Then the cliché hurt gf that was allowed to behave like a banshee in an office environment. HR was on 'vacation' from ep 1, it seems. In fact, the entire office would have had to be written up by HR.
There is no real plot to this series, just a hodge podge of scenarios stitched together with every excuse to insert nc. A few characters were not necessary, and this could have been wrapped up in 8 episodes. A very and I do mean very poor script with disconnected breaks that had no fluidity. Truthfully, I was humorously entertained throughout. Each week, I tuned in just to see how far Sorn would go and how fragile he truly was. He kept seeking approval from Jun, someone he didn't 'love'. They picked the perfect couple for these roles. BoatOat did not fail in their delivery. Oat is easily believable as the precocious impulsive Jun who is now trying to find himself. Boat as the closed off selfish demanding Sorn. Together, they made this nonsense work. The usual misunderstanding occurred, and I reveled in seeing Sorn lost, repentent, and afraid to let go. The beard deserves a worthy mention. On and off the screen, they work well together.
Penny's office relationship was as dry as biscuit and unnecessary to the plot other than her being Sorn's fwb. Tai's seemed oddly off kilter as he was the one lecturing Sorn on his unwillingness to be true to his own feelings. Now, near the end, he adopts the same attitude and causes Champ pain. Again, with proper writing and planning, this could have been dealt with earlier on and not like an afterthought. Script, poor. Tedious, repetitive, contrived conversations. Production and direction, poor. Again, how can one forget the beard? It will be remembered for eternity. Acting was on the lower end but served a purpose for enjoyment. Sorn and Jun together, entertaining.
The ending was rewarding for all, with Sorn's explosive desire capturing Jun once more. Sorn's maturity is still not fully complete as he bluntly speaks his mind irrelevant on how he affects those around him. Win's jibes at his bro Sorn, meant that Sorn was not untouchable. Tai and Champ's tender moment was the most comforting throughout the series. Yoon and Punpun made their relationship believable. I can't wait to see BoatOat in a better script as they've proven to be a fun couple.
View this at least once. If you go back for seconds, the why is understood.

One hell of trashy and entertaining BL - a funny way to loose brain cells
This series is super difficult to review and rate. Objectively, it is really (really !) bad on many levels : writing was a mess to say the least, acting was pretty poor, characters growth inexisting and production value very limited with a lot of cringy choices. BUT hear me out : I cannot deny the fact that it was a fun journey to follow this series while it was airing.I had some many (unwanted by the production team) laugh watching this drama...In a "it is so bad, it is (kinda) almost good" way. There is not a lot to say about the series, it features a lot of toxic relationship that do not really improve over the course of the drama. Other than the main couple, the two secondary couples are totally lacking either chemistry or interest. And the other plotlines are just random and useless.
On the positive sides, there are so many unhinged moments that I was always looking forward for the crazy of each episode. The acting was pretty limited but I will not blame too much the actors that had the difficult mission to make a nonsensical script and situation come alive. It was awkward at time but I can only praise the main leads for their commitment. I cannot say the same for sure for the supporting cast.
I can't recommend this to people as it is such a bad drama. At the same time, I think if you are looking for something in a "it is really so bad it is good" kind of way, you might want to give it a shot.
