The P'orn Supremacy

It has become clear to me, from the very first scene, that the producers of this magnificent show must have hired someone from the gay porn industry as a consultant. This, I believe, is how their pre-production meetings went.

Day 1.
The Producer: Alright, everyone. The results are in, and the trends are clear. There is now a clear north-south divide in the BL audience. Those who seek chaste BLs of cute boys go to Korea or Japan. If they want stepbrothers, they go to Taiwan. If they want pure spice, they come to us. Now, the greatness that is Mame showed us how low — I mean, how far — we can go. We now have to up our game. So, I have hired a consultant, Thunder Thighs, from the world of gay porn…
Writer 1: Oh god.
The Producer: …to help us improve our offering. Let’s give him a warm welcome.
Thunder (to thunderless applause): Cheers. Now, let’s get to work. Show me what you have.
Writer 1: I think we’ve covered all the basics. At least 3 couples; tall tops, short bottoms; rich tops, poor bottoms; boss tops, subordinate bottoms; slutty tops, virgin bottoms…
Thunder: Yeah, I get the idea. Any of them dom tops?
Writer 2: One is, absolutely; the other is for chaste-chasers, or, chaters, if you will.
Writer 1: We also have the tried-and-tested office setting, token women, time jump, accidental fall-and-catch, ten-percent body fat…
Thunder: Good, good. Any openly gay guys in it?
Writer 1: Not really. "Don't say 'gay'" is sort of our policy here.
Thunder: Good. Nothing is more off-putting in gay porn than having gay men in it.
Writer 2: Really?
Thunder: Yeah, the thrill is all about seducing a straight guy. What about the other guys? Are they “straight”?
Writer 2: Well, technically, they would be bisexuals.
Writer 1: But we don’t acknowledge them. Or use that word.
Thunder: Promising.
Writer 2: Do you want to hear the story?

Thunder: Oh, no one cares about that. People just fast forward to get to the good stuff.
The Producer (puzzled): Why then have it in the first place?
Thunder: To give the illusion of reality. You have to be able to believe that there is a world in which you can “pay the pizza guy back” by servicing him, or that you can “convert” a “straight” guy gay…
Someone at the back: Ah, so this is another form of “conversion therapy”?
The Producer: You’re fired.

Day 2.
Writer 1: So, this is how the story begins. An inexperienced youth is initiated into the rites of gay romance by a brash senior. Time pulls them apart. But then, a few years later, they end up working at the same office, and…
Thunder: How does the initiation happen?
Writer 2: What? Oh. Well, we thought that they could spot each other across a Buddhist temple, know that they were meant for each other, bump into each other -- literally -- the top will then catch the bottom...
Thunder: What the fuck is this? The Hallmark Channel? This won’t do. Here’s how you do it. The old’un’s the top, yeah? Have him wank off secretly in a public place…
Writer 2: Secretly… in a public place?
Thunder: Yes. Then have the bottom catch him in the act, by hiding clearly where the top can see him.
Writer 2: Hiding, where he can be seen?

Thunder: Yes. Then the top catches him watching, pulls him in, and says, ‘You’re so hard! Come, I’ll give you a hand shandy and make you come." He'll go: "But I thought you were straight?" Wait… can the top be his stepbrother?
Writers (together): No!
The Producer (at the same time): Sure!
Thunder: Never mind. You’ve seen gay porn. You know what comes next. One of them says: “Have you ever done this before?” The other guy says: “no”. Then, "Do you want to try?" Then, "Sure." Now, you must avoid kissing if possible, yeah? Kissing is “gay”. But if they must kiss, have the top say: “Can I kiss while I wank you off? It’ll be hotter.” The bottom says: “What if we get caught?” The top goes: “We won’t…”
Writer 1: You want us to put all of this in the first episode?
Thunder: Are you kidding? This is the first scene!

Day 3.
Writer 1: Should we talk about the other couples?
Thunder: Must we?
Writer 1: Yes.
Thunder: Okay. What's the deal with the other gays?
Writer 1: Well, we were going to have them as a sweet, romantic alternative to the spiciness of the first.
The Producer: We have to cater to the non-horny people, Mr Thighs. Otherwise, they’ll go to Korea.
Thunder (looking at the cast photos and finding Yoon): Wait… Isn’t this the guy from Unforgotten Night? Are you telling me we're not going to see his back tattoo? That he won't fuck his chump against a desk in his office?
Writer 2: His Champ. And you do know that wasn't a real tattoo, right?
Thunder: What's your point?
The Producer (getting up): Perhaps now would be a good time for a break.

Writer 1: Wait, what about the lesbian couple? (To the Producer): Are we allowed to say “lesbian” in Thai BL/GL?
The Producer: No.
Thunder: Sorry, love, I’ve nothing to contribute to that. If you want to fetishise or demean lesbians, go to straight men.

Day 4.
Writers (walking into the room and slamming the table): What the fuck are you doing to our script?
Thunder: There was a script?

The Producer: Let’s all calm down.
Writer 2: Why have you butchered half the scenes? And why does each episode read like a sex-ed class from a gay porn star?
Thunder: Because, darling, it is. What else have I got to work with?
Writer 1: Plot? Characterisation? Dialogue?

Writer 2: There *is* a story here, can't you see? Jun is the only one with integrity. Sorn is lying to himself and to Jun. But as the story moves along, their roles will reverse. Sorn's girlfriend...
Thunder: Can you show me where in the script you've written all that? Because I can't find it. The only thing I can find is horniness. If sex is what brings them together, why not make it front and centre? No one's staying for the dialogue.
Writer 1 (to the Producer): You hear that? That’s the nail in my coffin.

Day 5.
Thunder: Alright, where are we so far? We’ve had the handshake, the kiss, the steam, and the straddle. We now have to do the… Wait... Wait a sodding minute. (Thumbing through the whole script.) This thing has 12 episodes? How the fuck are you going to drag it out that long?

Writer 1: Oh, don’t worry about that. We have it refined down to a fine art.
Thunder: How’s that?
Writer 2: We'll start with some denial. That long river in Africa. We'll then introduce an unlikeable girlfriend for the top, and a gentle love interest for the bottom. We'll make them all jealous. Then, we'll use the two most powerful weapons in our arsenal...
Thunder: Which are?
Writer 2: Misunderstanding and miscommunication. Believe me, you can mine these two babies to keep the plot turning for at least six episodes.
Thunder: And the rest?
Writer 2: That’s where the side couples come in.
Thunder: So, what you’re telling me is that this time, you don’t even have enough material for 8 episodes that you had to bring me in.
The Producer: That is correct. So, what’s next?
Thunder: How bold do you wanna go?

The Producer: I mean, we opened the first episode with a handjob…
Thunder: Then how about we open the fourth with a flatiron?
Writer 2: What's that?
Thunder: Google it.

Day 6.
The Producer: So, we're all in agreement? We’ll keep Thai and Chump — I mean Champ — for the softies: soft, gentle, and with flags so green that all of Ireland would be offended…
Writers: Fine.
The Producer: Now, as for Sorn and Jun…
Thunder: You’d better let them breed like rabbits if you want the people hooked. You've got to put the Dom back in Condom; the Ass back in passive.
Writer 1: Oh, does that mean we’re allowed to show some realistic elements of safe gay sex on screen? Condoms, lubes, preparations?
Thunder: Don't be a douche.

Writer 2: Yes, douche too.
Thunder: Funny. But people don’t wanna see all that mess, yeah? They just want a clean shot. Geddit?
Writer 1: I'll add that to my list of reasons to die.
Writer 2: So what's next? What do we do with Sorn and Porn? I mean, Jun?
Thunder: Well, you've vetoed 'stepbrothers'. We’ve done 'straight-to-gay'. So, I guess the next big thing would be ‘roommate' porn, and almost ‘getting caught’. Run with those.
Writer 2: Right in front of my salad?

Day 7.
Script Editor: I quit. There is no meaning to life anymore.
(Storms out of the room.)
Thunder: What’s her problem?

Writer 1: Let’s see, we've gotten so bored with Chai — Champ and Thai, that is — that their storyline's now as bland as camomile tea. Penny breaks up with P'Sorn in a scene so amicable that Gwyneth Paltrow would look at it and say, ‘that’s bullshit’. And then, all of a sudden, Penny is just ready to scissor Jun in the middle of the office…
Thunder: Oh please, as if you BL writers were ever interested in the romantic life of lesbians.
The Producer: I mean, that's fair.
Writer 2: But you’ve mangled the script so much that nothing makes sense anymore.
Thunder: You loved the nipple play though, right?
Writer 1: Yes, the dialogue is scintillating. “Don’t mess with my nipple.” “But it’s so tiny and cute.”
Writer 2: I can’t believe I’m about to say this: but the writing is better in porn.
Thunder: Why, thank you. I'm flattered.

Day 8.
Writer 1: What next?

Thunder: Cottaging.
Writer 2 (to the Producer): How far are we willing to push it?
Thunder: Swallowing, if you want to be demure. Cum shot, if you want to be bold.
Writer 2: Jesus Christ.
The Producer: Meanwhile, please welcome our new addition to the team... Chad.
Thunder: He’s straight, isn't he?

The Producer: Yes. I’ve brought him in to advise us on the GL scenes.
Thunder: You do realise I was joking last week, right?

The Producer: So?

Day 9.
Thunder: Missionary Accomplished!
The Producer (raising his glasses): Here's to Oat and Boat!
Everyone: To Oat and Boat!
The Producer: How did you come up with the scene against the mirror? It was inspired.
Thunder: It's from one of my movies, Willy Wanker.

Day 10.
Writer 2: Oh, you haven’t shredded our script for the next two episodes?
The Producer: I’d argue that it reads somewhat better than before.
Writer 1: How come?

Thunder: Here’s the problem with you ladies. You seem to think that sex is something supplementary to a story. It isn’t. Sex is an integral part of the story. The human story. Evolution shaped us for it. And sometimes, as here, sex *is* the story.
Writer 2: What’s your point?
Thunder (sighing): The emotional connection between the boys is built on sex, innit? It ain't books or music. It 's also their main way of expressing trust, distrust, pleasure and pain.
Writer 2: That's suprisingly thoughtful.
Thunder: So, when their physical relationship falls apart, their emotional relationship falls with it. Even if the reasons you give for it are daft, as is the case here.
Writer 1: Daft?

Thunder: Please, you thought Sorny’s backstory would convince anybody? Why don’t you give him a spray-on beard while you're at it and show people how sad he is?
(The writers look at each other, wondering if it’s not a bad idea after all.)

Day 11.
(Back from the actors’ workshop):
Thunder: No, no, no, no, no. Nope. I can’t work with those two. I can’t.
The Producer: Why not?
Thunder: Did you take a look at their "acting"? There was more sexual chemistry between oil and water than those two. They touch each other as if they had visible eczema. Can’t you abandon them, like you abandoned the lesbians? Subtle, by the way. What, did you fire Chad after one day?
The Producer: But Yoon & PunPun have signed a contract saying they’d do at least three sex scenes. We’ve already paid them for it.
Thunder: Baffling. Who’d want to watch those wet wicks instead of real fireworks?
Writer 1 (sighing): I told you. We could have done without the side couples. And we could have spent that time to properly allow the characters to come out and be happy together. But no, you insisted on at least three to cater to everyone.
The Producer: I need to hedge my bets, okay? I'm only in it for the money. So stop hounding me.

Day 12.
The Producer: Alright, everyone. It's the last day. Let’s go out with a bang, shall we?
Writer 2: Two bangs, according to the script.
Thunder: A bang and a whimper is all you'll get. Can’t make a horse drink water, can we?
Writer 1: ChatGPT will soon take care of that. But what do you suggest for now?
Thunder: Tell Yoon to stop poking his tongue out like a goldfish. That would be one. Then, standing doggy in the staircase?
Writer 2: For whom?
Thunder: Both. I don’t care. Nor will the audience. They'll have tuned out by Ep. 10, trust me. So, just wrap it up, and churn the same stuff -- jealousy, aggression, possessiveness, horniness -- one last time.
Writer 1: Done.
(The Producer sighs.)
Thunder: Just make sure Boat’s shirt is unbuttoned, yeah? It leaves something to the imagination.
Writer 1: How about we also drop Oat’s trousers as well? To further fire up the imagination.
Thunder: My work here is done.

Hilarious, Heartfelt and H*rny. So be it.

LOVED this show. MS is now hands down one of my favorite BLs of all time; SornJun one of my fav BL couples. BoatOat acted their a**es off 👏 The dynamics they communicated both in & out of the NC scenes were so on point. I really think the writers messed up not giving us the BACKSTORY of Sorn, Tai, Champ, Win & Jun from the source material; It makes everything else make sense. & we miss out on so much b/c of side characters I didn’t care about. But if was so much fun. I miss them already. 🫶

“My Stubborn” – A Drama Full of Denial, Tension & Unexpected Softness ?‍??

Let me just say — My Stubborn had no business pulling me in this deep! From Episode 1 to 12, it was pure chaos, tension, and soft moments that hit harder than I expected 😩💅

At first, I thought P’ Sorn would act mature — you know, older, wiser? But noooo 😭 From the beginning, he was the real problem. The way he kept saying, “I don’t follow kids,” while clearly giving Jun all his attention? Be serious 😭

And Jun? That boy is so easy to mess with! P’ Sorn barely does anything and Jun is already falling apart 😭 Their dynamic was full of denial, but the tension?? It was tensioning HARD 🔥

Honestly, I didn’t expect to be this hooked, but every episode kept me invested. The story was cute, playful, dramatic — and the chemistry? Real. Even the side characters gave life to the series. It never felt slow or boring.

10/10, I would definitely rewatch just to feel chaotic and in love all over again 😌🫶

DID Y'ALL SEE THAT BEARD?!? SKSDKJNWPFSHWK

This drama started with that guy with the discount p'Payu hairstyle traumatizing some poor fishes with his hand down his pants. Then homeboy proceeded to drew on a fake arse beard and become the most annoying 'I don't like him although he's my whole world' character ever. Also, Jun a better person than me though, cuz I'd have immediately, and I mean, immediately, gone out and used all the skills Sorn taught me. Immediately.

Listen, no matter how you slice this, Sorn was a red flag, annoying, and low...highkey a sex addict, aka drunk on Jun. But like he can also wore a black t-shirt with his hair down, y'all saw that in episode 5 right? Such beautiful hair, wish he'd have let that hairstyle that made him look like discount p'Payu go. Oh and did y'all see that cake in those working trousers, or his height and shoulders, or that time he with the back strokes and the... Wait, what was I talking about? Right, Sorn sucks.

Look, I was among the people who super fucking cheered when Jun finally said bye player. I was also rolling on my floor in disbelief and laughter when Sorn showed up for 1.2 seconds with that god awful beard that made him look like a homeless penguin who sell knockoff suitcases by the sea side. Like who's creative work was that? #tears

So yeah, Sorn sucked, he dragged that who 'I'm emotionally unavailable' thing out for so long, then the lame excuse of Jun being a child. Bob, you've been bending him over everything you can and suddenly his age is the problem? Sure he had a reason, but shouldn't he have had it before he started 'teaching' a young person like that? All that, and they ended the drama by him saying 'I know he was young and I was wrong for what I did, I'm sorry.' Okay Janet. So yeah, throughout the drama he kept hiding his feelings, emotionally hurting Jun, until he decided to change cuz he was the one hurting and he didn't like that.

With that being said, I once said p'Cir from Boy Next World should teach kissing classes. Sorn, should do the same but add railing to it, lots of these characters could learn a thing or two. FAM!! Mflow was not playing around with those scenes, also that guy kisses like he is starved and wanna devour, consume and totally owe your soul. Down boy, damn! lowkey, did anyone else showed up to those lessons with a notebook and a pen? No, just me? arite. ^^'

As for Jun, he was dumb for letting himself be hurt like that. Like dude willingly gave himself him. We can argue he was young, and he did see his self worth and leave in the end, which was good, but dude was dumb for like 95% of the drama so. I'm glad we had that episode where he read Sorn the fuck up. I was clapping and adding more stuff to the list for him to yell. Still, even with the dumb choices, I liked Jun's character and I'm glad he sort of grew up, and in the end both him and Sorn worked it out. Though, why towards the end did he always look so scared and afraid when Sorn so much as got closer to his face? Dude looked scared to be kissed, hmm, honey, you want me to call someone?

The second lead and their slow motion sexy times... like why? But it was a nice break from Sorn and Jun's choking scenes. And they did have nice wine glasses, wonder where I can buy them. Though, every time they had some problems, like when Champ got angry cuz Tar didn't tell him about Sorn being with Jun. I was like: my friend my friend get angry on your own time, this aint about you. Lol. Not gonna lie, I wasn't invested in their relationship, but I did say, 'yaay for you for the gold ring, finally, all those silver ones were starting to get old' so good for them.

The gl couple could have been replaced by a houseplant and it wouldn't have made a damn difference to the plot. Also, they straight up forgot them in the finale, I literally just remembered them when I was talking about the ring, cuz I remembered that girl's earring and how pretty it was. oh well.

The other secondary characters didn't add anything to the story either, don't even know what the purpose of that guy with the screaming girlfriend was. Literally why? and the other interns, all they did was order coffee from those two children, and what was the purposes of the kids being in this?

Overall, the plot isn't much, the acting was fine, and some of the characters weren't necessary, but it passed the time, and I enjoyed it towards the end. BoatOat was the saving grace of this drama. Oat acted so well in some parts it made up for the lack of it. Also, I am all for thai nicknames, but Boat and Oat is...One thing for sure though, Boat earned that name, y'all saw that shoulder? dream Boat indeed.

Overall, you gonna like this a lot if you want a spicy bl, if you want plot and story, my friend look elsewhere. As bls goes, I'll recommend it if you have the time, the leads had great chemistry and carried the show. I'm looking forward to more of them in the future.

This was my ultimate guilty pleasure trash content!

*tsk* my weekly dose of dopamine has come to an end 😮‍💨

I will not be writing a long-in-detail review for this one because I really did while watching the episodes and as a whole I don't have anything much to say. There will be lots of users deconstructing and analyzing every little detail of it, so my review will only be based upon my personal entertainment value.

Other than the MLs, Sorn and Jun, everything faded into a blurry background, and they shined bright, almost blinding my senses. I loved how horny, problematic, possessive Sorn was, and I also loved Jun's sassy ass, bad mouth, self-respect and his sweet side. In total, they were bomb on screen.

If you forget about the entertainment part, they had many questionable things going on and, honestly, I did not let it ruin my watch, because if I started to nitpick my whole watching experience would go to waste, and I'd be disappointed. So, yes, I had my heart filters in my eyes and brain, and because of that I'm highly biased.

Love me, hate me, judge me, regardless of all agreement and disagreements, cringe fests, and red flag attitudes it was and will be my peak entertainment. I can't forget how much I waited for the unhinged crazy madness every Sunday.

Will I rewatch it? ABSOLUTELY YES! (ONLY ML PARTS) 😂👍 ✨

Do I recommend it? NO.
Be your own radar, decide on your own 💀

sexualising toxic relationship, forcing the partner in an uncomfortable way all the time

This is a very hard series for me. The first scene started already bad, forcing a sexual contact. Red flag characters are not my cup of tea especially if they do not grow or turn 180°. The counterpart is too naive and too cliché and just let it happen, because he is especially horny. This is one the most sexualized BLs in history but without a story to speak of. While the NC scenes are based on reality, the toxic behaviour is not. I'm sure there are some relationsships like that, but I don't feel they are healthy.

The side chars are extras, some as toxic as the lead red flag (yes, that girl) and some just stupid and some just "stiff". Why they had a cliché bitchy woman which turns lesbian is beyond me. Only the acting of the main couple is convincing. Both play their characters to perfection with nuanced facial expressions especially on Oats part. The rest is forgettable. There is no real story that needs to be told, but the production quality was superb.

The finale feels shallow and non-essential after the injection of needless drama in ep 11. Both Oat and Boat did a good job considering what the script has given, but overall it was just a bad series. Their acting increased my rating, otherwise that would be a disaster. The NC scenes are imho too much, if I want to see something like this I can watch any p0rn available and have not to ask myself WTF was that for or why does Jun allow this? Again, a disappointing thai show, but as I can see in the reviews some fangirls did this.

what a hell of a start and I’m seated.

But you know what? This was a solid start. I’ll be honest—I'm was going into My Stubborn with both low expectations and, somehow, high ones. So where this ends up landing? Anyone’s guess. It might end up being one of those train wrecks I can’t look away from. but as of right now this exceeded all my expectations so here is hoping it stays that way until
the end.

One thing I do know: it’s going to be messy. Deliciously, gloriously messy. I’m also super glad they moved up Jun’s age from high schooler (as both the description here and IQIYI have) to 21. and I’m assuming the scene from the start Jun was 19 maybe 18 since we get the 21 clarification and a “two years later”

Side note: I want to give a quick shoutout to the casting. I love that all the actors are over 27. It makes a real difference, especially in a series like this. Age-appropriate casting matters—there’s just a certain presence, a grounded energy, that comes with experience. For example, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t buy the MC in Bad Guy, My Boss as a CEO. He was only 20, and you could feel it—not just in how he looked, but in the presence that he brought to the role. That’s not the case here, and I genuinely appreciate it.

This ride is going to be toxic, wild, dramatic chaos—and honestly? I’m all in.

I'm stubborn too! - this was good

Lol, I don't even know how to write a review for this, but I'm going to try!

First, before starting the series, I would recommend familiarizing yourself with the story - especially the setup. Either through the novel, or my bare bones explanation here.

Basically, Jun and Sorn, the leads, have known each other for years - Jun's best friend Win has an elder brother Tai, who's best friends with Sorn. These four and Champ, another one of Tai's best friends, have been a tight knit group for a while, Jun is like Tai and Champ's younger brother, and it's only Sorn who can't stand him because he doesn't like kids (basically adults a bit younger than him). Jun and Sorn have a risqué run in with each other at one point, after which they go their seperate ways. Fast forward a few years later, they are reunited when Jun starts interning at the company where Sorn, Tai and Champ work.

This is a very simplified version of the background between the leads, but enough to understand the rest of the story, because this part is not at all explained in the first episode. They dive right into their risqué situation in the series and the time jump is not really obvious, and there a high chance for confusion - so do keep this backstory in mind.

The rest of the plot? Incredibly straightforward.
Jun and Sorn develop a "friends with benefits" relationship (and I say that within quotes because their situation is not quite akin to the term), and surprise, surprise! They're both incredibly stubborn. About not having feelings for each other, about not being interested in each other, the entire drama is Jun and Sorn involved in a push and pull relationship with benefits.

They get jealous a bunch, they argue a bunch, objectively speaking, not a very healthy relationship but somehow it works. There's side couples, a bunch of characters who pop in and out but play no real role in the story, a lot of it feels like a rich tapestry for the NC scenes we get every episode.

But it's not. Because the NC scenes are actually integral to the plot. Their entire relationship was based off of their friends with benefits agreement, and through all the push and pull, the jealousy and misunderstandings, all the hiding of their feelings, this aspect of their relationship came out as something really important!

I went into this expecting to completely hate it, but believe it or not, twelve episodes and I absolutely love it. The plot is downright confusing at times. Jun and Sorn don't exactly have a relationship I would categorise as healthy. So many unnecessary side characters.

But it was SO. MUCH. FUN.

The chemistry was wonderful. The acting was so good, not over the top, not like they didn't try at all. The story for the most part, consistent, focused on the leads, meaning very little focus away from their story, which was great. The NC scenes didn't feel too over the top or too underwhelming. There was a balance to it all.

Now, this was not perfect. I'm not saying that everyone will enjoy it, but I very much did. I liked it so much, and I like it even more considering they changed my mind after I went in, all ready to not like it. I had a great time watching it, and if my review has somehow convinced you to give it a try, I hope you do too! :)

Why are their acting so stiff ?

The first episode was actually pretty good overall. The production quality is solid, it looks nice, and the story seems fun with a good mix of humor and romance. What really stood out to me were the intimate scenes, but the main issue I had was with the acting. Most of the actors didn’t really feel natural in their roles, and it kind of threw off the mood of the story. Their delivery was a bit stiff, and it made it harder to connect with the characters or believe what they were feeling. It’s a shame because the characters themselves seem interesting, and the story has potential. If the acting gets better in the next episodes, I think this series could turn out to be something really fun and worth following.
No hate towards the actors tho, Ik they worked a lot on it

DID WE GOT THIS SHIT WRONG ??

okay, sorn got to be the “kid” in this series.. he suppose to be an “adult” but acts annoying asf.
from what I heard: “Jun a mischievous high schooler known for his relentless pranks, and Sorn, a composed and orderly man who can’t stand Jun’s antics. Their relationship starts off antagonistic, with Jun’s pranks pushing Sorn’s buttons.” - but it seems the opposite of what I’m getting it seems that sorn a mischievous manchild known for his restlessness pranks and frustrating ass possessiveness and Jun, a composed and orderly man who can’t stand sorns antics- like … this is literally what I’m seeing even though Jun isn’t innocent also, sorn just irritated me the most here honestly.

Entertaining trash with a lot of yikes and no consent!!!

I have never been more conflicted on how to rate a drama. Objectively this was a mess… and yet, somehow I couldn’t stop watching. I will keep this review short because I have no idea how to prepare you for what this was. xD

That biggest issue and it’s not a small one is Sorn consistently crosses boundaries. There are multiple scenes where consent is clearly ignored or played off as “romantic,” and it honestly made parts of this drama hard for me to sit through. No amount of charm or chemistry can excuse that.
In the later episodes, I did see Jun reciprocating and it glossed over some of the toxic behaviour but it was hard to ignore considering how repetitive it was.

That said, their chemistry was really good! And the NC scene ... well it was a little too graphic than I would expect from a BL but I do think it was done well.

Once I ignored that dubcon part and pretended it never happened, the rest of their story was honestly just weak. Sorn was giving emotional whiplash with his hot and cold routine and Jun had absolutely no clue what was going on and honestly, neither did I.

They kept introducing new arcs while completely forgetting to finish the main storyline - to give depth and emotional weight to the main leads.
And on the “love” part. Jun clearly fell in lust. Those heart-eyes of his were giving surface level attraction at best.
But actual love? That felt more like a plot requirement than anything earned.
Someone clearly just went, "Welp, it's a BL, better check the love box!" and moved on.

I feel like with the chemistry they had, they could have done something better than this... The acting from the leads was a bit on and off but honestly, I think the script didn’t give them much to work with. I would give them the benefit of the doubt for that.

As for the second couple, they had their moments here and there but I didn't feel their chemistry at all. I am not talking about their NC scenes but the emotional connection. It felt very abrupt! Plus I feel Yoon, bless him, had the same expression the entire drama. No matter the scene, he looked exactly the same! That really dragged them down!

Overall, It’s trash, but it’s the kind that makes you gasp, yell at your screen and yet the next episode is played.
Recommended only if you are watching purely for "entertainment" and can mentally file this under guilty pleasure. Just don’t go in expecting emotional depth or healthy romance.

Steamy Fun, Zero Plot, All Chemistry!

Wow 😳 First time I’ve seen a BL series with intense NC in every episode. Honestly, the creativity every week had me eagerly waiting for the next drop! 🔥 Who doesn’t love a little heat mixed with their drama? 😏

What plot? 😂 After 12 weeks, we still don’t even know what the characters actually do at the office. Are they working, or are they just... distracted by their growing feelings? 😂 Just a bunch of horny workers navigating their emotions, and honestly, I’m here for it. Sometimes you don’t need a deep plot to enjoy something—this series is so silly in the best way. I laughed and cringed at the same time, loving every moment. 🙌

The dynamic between Jun (the mischievous intern) and Sorn (the serious, no-nonsense guy) is pure chaos in the best way. Jun’s pranks? Iconic. Sorn’s reactions? Hilarious. The slow-burn tension between them? Unbeatable. 💖

Episode 1 - The outdoor handjob scene in the first episode? So intense and full of chemistry—it was a perfect start to a wild ride. 😳🔥

Episode 2 - first ten minutes blew everything out of the water — the heat was absolutely palpable. Jun sliding onto Sorn’s lap, the teasing lip kiss, the slow-burning music, and the pink and purple haze created a scene dripping with seduction. It delivered one of the most electrifying and provocative kisses I’ve seen in a long time. Jun’s innocent belief that Sorn was merely “teaching” him how to kiss made the moment even more sinful, especially with Sorn savoring every second with unmistakable hunger. The first ten minutes of Episode 2 didn’t just maintain the tension — it turned it into a smoldering fire. The plot might be wild and utterly ridiculous, but honestly, I’m completely addicted.

Episode 6 - After watching Episode 6, one thing’s clear: Jun is not innocent. At all. 😈
First, the couch scene — he could’ve sat anywhere, yet he deliberately chose to sit right in front of Sorn, between his legs. The tension? Palpable. That wasn’t just casual — that was silent seduction. 🛋👀
Second, the infamous banana car scene 🍌🚗 —
These were his actual lines:

Jun:
“Want my banana?”
“It’s a big one though.” 😏
“Perfect in my hand.”
“Big, juicy bite.” 👅

Then, without missing a beat, he peels the banana slowly… locks eyes with Sorn… and takes a long, deliberate bite. 🔥

Sorn:
“Can’t you eat like a normal person?” 😵‍💫
Let’s be honest — Jun knows exactly what he’s doing.
He’s not innocent — he’s dangerously seductive, and he’s loving every second of it.

Will it win awards for intricate storytelling? Probably not. But did it give me 12 weeks of pure entertainment and laughs? Absolutely! And I will always come back here to re watch all the NC scenes.
