I didn't have high expectations, I just excited about the farm romance theme.

However, I didn't expect it to actually go downhill.

The drama starts out very interesting, it has the vibe of a funny romantic comedy, and in fact, it is. However, it seems to me that the screenwriters purposely made the worst choices! It is not possible that anyone thought the narrative choices were made in this story were good.

What was supposed to be interesting, especially seeing the male protagonist struggling to adapt to life on the farm and even further exploring the female protagonist's choices in leaving the big city, became a big mess. In fact, it became a love competition.

Obviously, the scriptwriters brought in the old tactic of the second lead and the second female, but with an awful detail: the second female is the FL's BEST FRIEND, and the second lead thinks it's a god idea to live in the FL's house because, of course, he has been in love since college, so she "needs" to accept him.

I don't blame ML for being bothered by the situation, after all, FL playing dumb with the closeness that her friend has with her is eye-rolling. But.. ok. Nevermind, she didn't know *yeah, right*

For me, if the story were *just* the two of them adapting to farm life and ML's complications in having to choose the big city and be with the woman he loves, it would be much better, but it seems to me that, honestly, the writers cannot make reasonable choices.

Furthermore, I thought it was a wasted chemistry between the actors, and I would really like them to explore FL life more; I missed knowing more about her.

Too much drama, not enough harvesting!

I chose to watch this completely on a whim and it was cute at first but then it kinda lost me towards the end.

I wasn’t expecting deep character development or anything and was also fine with some clichés but the SML and SFL were so frustrating. They had no respect for boundaries, constantly interfered in other's business which made it feel less like a rom-com and more like a drama for drama's sake. The whole "breakup and reunion" thing was way too predictable and dragged out which just got annoying.

But all was not lost.It does have its cheesy romantic moments. The bickering was fun too. They had this perfect mix of teasing and tension, like they couldn't stand each other but also clearly liked each other.
The pace felt fast but considering the run time and it's a mini drama, it's understandable.

Overall , It’s okay for a one-time watch. I went into it looking for something light and for the farm feels but wish they kept it breezy. Also it could’ve been way shorter too, so much filler with the same repetitive story lines.
Recommended If you’re into the arranged marriage trope and don’t mind some cheesy drama with cliche tropes. But definitely not the worst out there.

Quite intrigue watch this short drama... But as usual with short drama, this also quite fast pace & a little week at the end.

Tell story about Lin Xian (LX) & Zhuang Xiao Man (XM). They arranged to be engaged by their grandpa. But after a little threatened by LX's grandpa, LX finally settled in XM house. XM that's being sick by all the blind date the villager arranged for her & LX that's need to be agreed to his grandpa make a little secret deal, to be agreed in their engagement for about 1.5 month and after that they agreed to break the relationship.

But.... Because LX & XM is the main couple here, of course they finally fall in love with each other. LX that gets used to with farming life also falling in love with the lifestyle in the village. The end...? Haha.... This is drama, of course not....

LX's company turn out hanging on the cliff, and before coming to the village, he made a deal with Lu Yao (LY) to be her fiance. LY try to break LX & XM relationship through Chen Jingwen & successful. They break up. But later on XM find out the truth & decided to chase LX to the city. Will it successful? Well... I think I spoiled enough. You need to continue watch urself.

What rush?
- The way XM & LX fall in love feel a little bit rush. Suddenly they just already fall in love with each other.
- The ending. Ugh... I really wish for better ending...

Overall do I feel this worth watching? For short drama YES! This has beginning, middle and end. The story quite clear & good. The acting also quite good, not feel the actor/ess like just graduates from acting students drama.

It was great, until...

Don't Disturb Me Farming was actually a really nice journey. Until the final few episodes, which changed the story drastically. This is because of the introduction of many rushed points that were also either irrelevant or bad. It's one of those where you think to yourself: which is more important, the journey or the destination?

I really liked the farming aesthetic and it has made me want to watch more farming-based dramas and web series. There was this sort of calmness that I liked with it. The cinematography therefore was something that I enjoyed. Something I didn't enjoy too much were the characters. The acting and cast were good for the most part, but the personality traits of the characters, most of them anyway, were not so good.

This is a difficult one to rate as at the start I enjoyed it so much, but now that I've watched all of it, I just feel almost dissatisfied?

On the plus side, this has one of the strongest OSTs I have heard in a long time.

Started at good, hit a speed bump but ended well

It started out well. I loved a country setting because nearly all C-dramas are set in the city. I liked ML finally joining in and helping out on the farm instead of sitting around like a snooty prick. But like most C-dramas, the scriptwriter managed to kill the good feelings in the middle thanks to - you guessed it - a mean chick who was supposedly FL's 'friend'. Then ML gets on his high horse. I recommend skipping 20-23 to the ending, which is happy. Thankfully, these episodes are brief so the angst ought to go quickly if you chose to watch it. I don't recommend it because I can't stand petty men (or women); it particularly looks bad on a man, but ML has that type of personality.

Nice, light, but too many clichés

Mini series (24 x15 minutes) on the plot Rich & arrogant ML VS down-to-earth poor FL.

Nice start, but with a lot of clichés (financial crisis of the Company, villain love rival, fake engagement, etc.).
The pace is fast (it's a mini) but nothing is developed and seems a little superficial.

This series onlly allows young actors to show their talent.

A rich city boy met a young country girl through prior arrangement and slowly falling in love

Plot/Story
Zhuang Xiaoman was an innocent, but pretty village girl who lived with her parents in Dandong Village. She has an old friend named Jingwen, who later attended school in the City and interested in rich city boys. Another one of her friends was Hao, a peasant who was interested on Jingwen. The quiet village life was suddenly disturbed by a visiting rich city boy named Lin Xian. He came to annull his engagement to Xiaoman, which was secretly and previously made by Lin's grandpa. Lin's visit coincided with a blind date to Xiaoman, arranged by her parents. Xiaoman ended up accepting the current engagement with Lin, in order to avoid the blind date. Jingwen, who knew about Lin background through her education in the City, was also interested in him. Then, there was also an old friend of Xiaoman named Zi Feng, a photographer coming to the village, who had also interest on Xiaoman.
As a temporary arrangement, Lin stayed in the village and helped Xiaoman with the daily farm life. He slowly became interested with the village life and Xiaoman; and clashed with Zi Feng while being pursued by Jingwen. He also had an old girl friend through his business in the City, and her name was Lu Yao. Was at the end Lin and Xiaoman convinced that they were meant for each others?

Cast/Characters
Cast
The feisty little girl Xiaoman was played by Qu Meng Ru, and Lin Xiang played by Li Zhou Hiang. Qu Meng Ru has a beautiful set of eyes and a face which captivated her audiences. Li Zhuo Hiang is young, handsome and has nice body, which was revealed by Xiaoman when she wanted to apply ointment for his rashes due to allergy and dust.
Jingwen was played by Liu Mu Zi, and Lu Yao by Pan Xiao Xu. Photographer Zi Feng was played by Yu San, and friend Hao by Huang Hai Tao. Grandpa Lin was played by Feng Li Ping.

Characters
Both Lin and Xiaoman were excellent in their roles. Grandpa Lin was charming with his white beard, reminded me of a kungfu master. Xiaoman's parents were quite pleasant and not too pushy toward their single daughter. I do not like Zi Feng's character, as he seems to be out of place in this drama.
Xiaoman was very feisty in the beginning of the story, but got mellow with Lin as time went by. On the other hand, Lin ended up adjusting to the village life and slowly loved it.

Music
This drama has a nice, soft music theme, but nothing special nor dramatic.

Rewatch Value
I found that it is worth to rewatch some of the episodes to see the beautiful sceneries of the village, or to capture some moments between the two main characters.

Scenery/ /Filmography
One of the nicest drama films with scenic and beautiful photography of the country farm , including the views of the greens, farm fields and rustic farm's life.

Personal Comments
- Nice old fashioned dresses worn by Xiaoman during the photo sessions.
- Xiaomen looked very pretty with the pink old fashioned costume for the photo set near the creek. She looked good in either wearing the farm jean and hat, or when she worked in the office.
- The length of the drama is excellent and not too long. The story was not too complicated, but it has unique story depicting agricultural activities.
- I wonder how Xiaoman can quickly adapted to working office environtment if she was just a naive farm girl?

Eu ameiii!!!!!

Achei que o casal teve química, a história não ficou enrolando e nem fazendo rodeios.
Só teve dois personagens que me encheram a paciência, o ex colega que volta e agora quer se declarar (ok, tem q tentar a sorte), mas a prota fica defendendo ele em uns momentos nada a ver sendo q ela já estava interessada em seu falso noivo.

A melhor amiga da prota, achei uma cobra, fala na cara a amiga q o cara q ela estava gostando é bem o noivo dela (q???? )e a pior parte nem é essa, é quando ela aceita acabar com o relacionamento da amiga a troco de dinheiro!!! Manooooo. Ela não me convenceu até o fim, falsa demais.

Mas no geral, é divertido e interessante (maratonei num dia)

Achei uma fofura!

Adorei essa historinha e esse casal. Eu achei eles lindos separadamente e juntos. Que química maravilhosa! Se vocês estiverem a fim de um história com um plot leve e interessante, recheada por um casal lindo e com muita química, eu super indico!
Xiao Man é uma menina do campo, formada e inteligente que ama a terra e a natureza. Apesar de ter a oportunidade de morar na cidade por ter se formado em uma boa faculdade, prefere viver na simplicidade do campo. Lin Xian é o CEO de uma grande companhia que atravessa momentos de dificuldades e tem na mira um casamento de conveniência, mas que não pode se concretizar, pois seu avô fez um acordo de casamento entre ele e Xiao Man, embora eles nem se conheçam.
Ela vai até o campo para desfazer o noivado, precisa passar um mês e eles acabam se apaixonando.
