Fun binge watch
Hilarious! 😂🤌 This is indeed what it said it was. A comedy drama with a superhero concept.Really liked the idea of laboratory mutation resulting in weird and grand superpowers. The pacing was good with a rather unexpected twist in between. You were kept entertained throughout. The ending pissed me out though. The kind of incomplete, let to the viewer to ponder kind. Frustrating 😤
My favourites were Kang Robin and Son Gyeonghun. They just exist to be comical. Im Seongjae and Choi Daehun did a fabulous job! Park Eunbin is really a fabulous actress. The variety of roles she pulls of and that too in such a good way, it's crazy! And this is one of those dramas you should watch if you believe Cha Eunwoo does not know to act. It shall prove you wrong. I think he did a good job. Honestly, the plot twist of him working for the organization and handing her over was quite a shock. Initially, I did think it would happen. But it was when i started thinking the opposite that it happened, catching me off guard. I seriously want to see him in an antagonist role, i swear! He would make a wonderful villain 😭 Supporting cast were also good and added to the storyline.
All together, it's a fun watch, a funny little escape!

funny but there were MANY plotholes
overall i really enjoyed this show!it was funny and entertaining but there were SOOO many plotholes.
some examples: chae-ni can only teleport when her heart is beating rapidly but there are multiple moments where she teleports randomly, kyung-hoon only sticks when he lies but there were moments where he hadn't lied and would stick, kyung-hoon can only stick to objects himself so how did he get all those people to stick to that inflatable turnip, how did that inflatable turnip fit in that jail cell + why didn't the police get rid of the turnip before locking the prisoners in the cell, how did chae-ni not get blown into a million pieces by that airship, how did chae-ni come back from "the desert" in 3 weeks with no money/passport/food/water/anything, how is woon-jung's mother alive when it was clearly stated that she was dead + how did he find her?.. the list goes on
anyways, it was fun! chae-ni and woon-jung r such a cute couple iajgiejaig <33

Unexpectedly Enjoyable After a Rocky Start
I honestly did not intend to watch this series at first, but having a 16-hour direct flight from SF to SG made me realize that I really needed something to watch for that long journey. So I gave *The WONDERfools* a try, mostly out of necessity. At the beginning, I have to admit that I underestimated this series. It felt messy, a little too chaotic, and I almost wanted to drop it. I also don’t usually enjoy silly characters when their behavior feels too random or unreasonable. But surprisingly, as the episodes went on, the series started getting better. The comedy, the found-family dynamic, and the imperfect superhero concept slowly grew on me. It is not the most polished drama, but it has its own charm, especially when the emotional and comedic moments actually land.
The one thing that stopped me from giving it a higher rating was Jun Mo. I really wanted to see what he could do, especially since he is supposed to be one of the special “children.” But until the end of the series, we still did not really get to see his full capability, which was kind of disappointing. Overall, it was a fun and surprisingly enjoyable watch, but I still wish the story had explored some characters and their powers more deeply.

Because Of One Man Dream
The story is about a a several people that got a superpower because get something like radiation from a chemical. The problem is that they didn't know where it's come from and how dangerous it is until one man who helped them to control their power and showing the truth to them about the past and what happened. Was this review helpful to you?

I want to live long enough to see the end of the world, too.
"Zero skills. Maximum chaos." Talking about me?The heroine steals a child’s ice cream ; Shadow the Hedgehog would be so proud. I became a fan from the very first episode. We share the same references. (That said, I do hope Park Eun-bin can move on from the quirky, sassy roles she always seems to play)
The bloke whose daughter is both ashamed of him and feels sorry for him at the same time, I love him. He's always hanging out with his mates. The ultimate unfit dad.
They're all really touching and funny. Their powers turn out to be really well used, and we all love Katamari Damacy. All the Korean shows about superpowers are a massive hit these days. (Episode 6 !)
This antagonist is truly the worst of all the manipulators.
Nothing interesting to add : it's just excellent. Despite such a serious subject. And they've done the whole thing about conflicts being passed down from one generation to the next. To think that everything could be sorted out simply by talking. It's always the rich people's fault.
A sequel ! Now !
The opening credits are brilliant, aren't they ?
The only downside : I hate Radiohead, I cannot stand them, I don't want to hear them. Go away.

Park Eun-bin absolutely stole this drama
“Wonderfools” was chaotic in the best way possible 😭The cast chemistry honestly carried the whole drama for me. Park Eun-bin as Eun Chae-ni was SO GOOD — she perfectly balanced childish chaos, naughty energy, and emotional vulnerability. When Chae-ni learned about her heart condition, the emotional switch in her acting genuinely hit hard.
And the way Cha Eun-woo’s Lee Woon-jung quietly protected her from everyone’s carelessness instead of making it dramatic… those small moments worked really well for me.
The VFX and overall fantasy atmosphere were honestly better than I expected too. The powers looked fun instead of cheap, and the drama fully embraced the weird chaotic energy of its world.
I also liked that at some point I started feeling sympathy even for Ha Won-do’s side. Son Hyun-joo made the villain feel more human instead of just “evil scientist bad.” Though I do think the opposing villain group got nerfed later compared to how threatening they first felt.
And that last teaser with the mad scientist returning? Yeah… they definitely knew people would want more chaos 😭
The story had some uneven parts for me, but the acting, cast chemistry, comedy, emotional moments, and fun atmosphere made it a really memorable watch overall.
8/10.

Definitely one of the most enjoyable K-dramas I've watched this year.
Wonderfools is a 10/10 for me. 😂I honestly didn't expect to laugh this much while watching a K-drama. The "Kung Kung Tak" scene and the ceiling scene had me crying from laughter. If you've watched it, you probably know exactly what I'm talking about. 😂😭
What I loved most is that they're not the usual "cool" heroes. One gets bullied, one is always filing complaints at city hall, one is sheltered because of her heart condition, and somehow these are the people who end up trying to save the world.
Some of my favorite moments were when they were still figuring out their powers. Imagine suddenly gaining superpowers and having absolutely no idea what triggers them. Watching them learn through trial and error was both hilarious and surprisingly wholesome.
But beyond the comedy, action, and superpowers, what stayed with me most was their friendship. They're all carrying their own struggles, yet somehow they find each other and become a team.
It reminded me that the people we meet along the way can have a bigger impact on our lives than we ever expect. Sometimes, the right people don't just make life more fun, they help us become stronger, braver, and more ourselves. 🤍
🌟 10/10
If you're looking for something funny, heartwarming, a little chaotic, and full of lovable characters, I'd highly recommend this one.

The Wonderfools delivered everything
This story has complex characters and relationships even though it's mostly comedy, and that's what makes it more enjoyable. No one is perfect, and I find the flawed characters more endearing. It's funny, intriguing... It has more romance than I expected and the chemistry between everyone is a 💯The comedy timing is exquisite. It handles different tones of humor and never runs the same joke into the ground.
It's also interesting how they changed the intro's color, tone and music for ep 6 after the ending on ep 5 ☠️
Eun Chaeni, the main character, is completely adorable and incredibly brave. And watching her and her grandmother be exactly the same person is the sweetest thing. Chaeni is understanding like her grandma, she's magical. She died, her friends were about to throw her in a dumpster, she came back from the dead and didn't think for a moment to blame them. That's just who she is.
8 episodes feel short, and while the story does get a proper ending, it's wide open for a second season in the best way. I really hope they make it, though according to the director, nothing is planned.
Spoilers... I'm obsessed with the way Unjeong and Chaeni never confessed and kinda become essential to each other. His feelings for Chaeni were what made Unjeong change and confront the villain, so it's part of the main plot and core to the development of the story, not just a side romance. Park Eunbin and Cha Eunwoo did a great job making us understand how their characters feel and the core of their connection even without saying everything out loud. I was expecting a proper kiss between them, but they did a great job showing their connection in a few scenes that fed us forever.
I love the fact that Robin kept correcting Chaeni's words the whole time and she never cared. But when he corrected her on Unjeong's last name (because she kept saying Choi Unjeong instead of Lee Unjeong ) Chaeni got all flustered and embarrassed 🤭
The child actors are incredible, the casting is perfect because they represent their adult versions so well.
The Wonderfools has a thousand details that make it worth watching a thousand times.

Funny Superheroes Done Right
Good drama. It has action, humor, great chemistry between the characters, and interesting personalities. I think it’s the perfect kind of project for a franchise (I’m almost sure there will be a season 2). The concept itself is also quite original. In short, it’s definitely the kind of drama you can watch as a couple to spend a pleasant evening together. The superheroes are genuinely very funny, and Eun Woo, as always, is charming and incredibly likable.Of course, Park Eun Bin carries much of the project on her shoulders as a talented actress, thanks to her natural and energetic acting. And Eun Woo brings glamour and charm to the drama… The other characters also deserve recognition, although some of them are a bit too stereotypical, which is probably the only downside. On the other hand, the special effects are well done, and the cinematography is good too.
The director also did a solid job — he managed to make everything work convincingly and bring all these elements together successfully. The two other superheroes are incredibly cute and funny. In fact, the humor revolves around these three characters (3 Comic relief characters) , while the others remain serious, and it’s precisely this contrast in tone that makes the drama so entertaining.
As for the casting, the heroine has some similarities to the character type from "True Beauty". They clearly didn’t want to take risks and chose a formula that already works. Apparently, this kind of casting matches very well with Eun Woo

I love a good action comedy drama. This has me laughing alot!!! Amazing actors!Eun Chae Ni, Son Gyeong U and Kang Ro Bin are so chaotic and then "Master" joined their little crew.
I think this is one my first drama where Cha Eun Woo is doing action than romance and it was good seeing that.
Overall, you will get a lot good laughs and action.
I can't wait for season 2!!!
