Kang Ha Neul’s acting is doing all the heavy lifting to make this work.
The premise promises all the lovely feelings and great comedy but I seriously did not expect such an inexperienced and flaccid actress to be paired with Kang Ha Neul. He is really good. Like, KHN is a _really_ good actor. Even his dorky comedy is on point. When he is stunned by her beauty in the first episode, I can feel his heart beating faster because of how disoriented and shocked he seems WITHOUT WORDS.Who is this new lady though? I’ve been carefully watching her through each episode thus far and I can safely say, neither her eyebrows nor her mouth move all that much in any given scene, regardless of how she’s feeling.
Will update this when it’s over, cause rn, not much else can salvage the FL’s barbie persona and I don’t know how much of it I can handle.

Edit// Nothing got better, the plot got more diluted and the characters whittled away to nothing but vague crime scene outlines. Dropped it at ep 4 : /

Tastefully yours boring ?
This has to be the most REALLY well maybe Goblin, but really how to finish this without dying of old age the whole cast is subpar writing what writing, the love interest there isn’t any, come on I’m a die hard drama watcher but this is a waste of my time on earth, would rather watch Israel and IranWas this review helpful to you?

From the start, you’ve got this crazy chemistry between Beom-woo, the super intense executive, and Yeon-joo, the simple chef with such a beautiful aura. The story literally hugs you it’s not just a pretty romance, it’s one of those dramas where you feel like you’re in the restaurant, smelling the food and watching the characters heal. Ha-neul looks stunning, super kind and a bit clumsy but with that huge heart that steals yours in every scene. The best part is the little group that forms Chun-seun and Myung-suk, wow, what a duo! I loved them together; I feel like there should’ve been more than friendship there, hehe. Overall, the four of them make you feel like you’re part of their crew.
No doubt the sweetest moment is when they’re all together in the food truck such an inseparable little family.
Not everything’s perfect though the ex in Japan part threw me off and felt totally unnecessary, they dragged the story too much. Also, the sabotage and fire plot was over the top and kinda unbelievable, honestly.
It’s a cozy drama, totally worth it, left me wanting more, and of course, Kang Ha-neul looks incredible as always 😌

Loved the Plot, Recipe, and Chemistry between actors
Firstly, I absolutely loved Kim Shin-rok in this. it was a treat seeing her in a less serious & villainous role. The Chemistry between her and Yoo Su-bin was my favorite! I must say Yoo Su-bin has a way of making you dislike him at the start of every drama he is in but slowly becomes your favorite supporting actor as the drama progresses. I love that he cries in most dramas too. I just love him! I think that casting Go Min-si and Kang Ha- neul was a great call. I want to see more of Min-si in soft dramas like this. I love that they didn't make her all aegyo because that isn't her style at all. This role really suited her and I throughly enjoyed how Kang Ha- Neil's character complemented that. I must say, I did not think I'd enjoy this the way I did! I enjoyed the cooking and the storyline. Also, if Bae Na-ra plays another villain type role I will permanently dislike him lolWas this review helpful to you?
A warm meal for your life !
I'll try to keep my review precise1. The chemistry between the leads is effortlessly amazing , It was my first time seeing the fl and she is so freakin beautiful and such a great actress. I love Kang Ha neul and he did not disappoint at all
2. The Jungjae group's camaraderie was perfect !
3. All the actors shine brightly and the emotions are portrayed so well
4. The simplicity of the series wins over everything , also the food and the process of its preperation and presentation everything was such a pleasing sight .
5. Some special appearances are bound to make you smile
6. Although the ending felt rushed but it was realistic as well since there were only 10 episodes and in order to show the progression of the story it felt fair since all the arcs were covered till the end . I did not have any complaints except for the fact that the last episode could have a few more romantic moments of the leads since I love them together!!
7. The way they rolled the end credits in the last episode with a message from each person of the cast and crew was so sweet !

Strong premise, lackustre finish
Tastefully Yours had all the ingredients for a delightful Netflix binge: food as a passion and love language, personal growth, cultivated friendships, and an enemies-to-lovers arc served with a side of comic relief. The premise was fun and promising. For the first two-thirds of the series, it mostly delivered. Add in vicious sibling rivalry and a Machiavellian, conniving matriarch, and things were sizzling nicely.Alas, somewhere along the way, the scriptwriters must have taken a wrong turn. The final third was ridiculously off-course: a meandering, tedious detour through a landscape of improbable scenarios, minor plot holes, and the kind of detour that makes you wonder if someone misplaced the original script! It does eventually limp back onto the right track in the final 100 metres, but by then, the damage is done. A happy ending, yes – but certainly not a satisfying one.
The lead characters were likeable, and the actors brought charm to their roles, even if the romantic chemistry was more simmer than sizzle. Overall, it was light and entertaining. Given the (dumb) final stretch, I’m also glad the series was (mercifully) short.

Falls Short to its potential
To be honest as the title said I was hoping to be it a more food drama than a melodrama. It's not bad at all. This series has all the right ingredients, it started also very good for first few episodes but later it went downhill and it didn't reach expectations at the end.The Chemistry between the ML and FL was a blend of spices both did a good job. and when it comes to supporting cast, I was fascinated by the 2nd FL who's character was a 180 degree turn to the character she played in Undercover High School series but on s personal note she should have been give more screen time and according to their potential the script didn't do justice to them. The business plot was dull and sometimes I wondered how did they become so successful with the mindset that they were currently displaying!
Ironically, the supporting cast outshined them in my eyes, bringing more energy and a certain depth to their roles even though the writing didn't help them.
Overall, it tried hard to explore healing and purpose through food, but faded its first half is brisk, sweet, and full of flavor, but the second half meanders.
Still, there’s no denying the aesthetic appeal. The food sequences are beautifully shot, almost distractingly so. The visual language of food and care is a strength that the drama returns to again and again.

It will make you hungry!
After watching Culinary Class Wars I have been interested in food-related shows. So this drama came intrigued me from the get go.The beginning of the drama was tbh a bit slow. It started to get interesting when they had the food festival competition. After that a lot of interesting things happened that kept me wanting to watch the next episode. I liked the Sapporo episodes too although the fight in the hospital scenes were a bit too much!!!! But after the recipes got stolen I was a bit disappointed and mad. I imagined it to turn out totally different. I had wished Beom-Woo would have told the Diamant judges that the recipes were stolen and created a showdown. Instead he just started to sulk. He couldn’t even properly tell Yoon-Joo that it wasn’t him who stole the recipes!!!! IT WAS FCKING YU-JIN!!!!! Like just the fact that this whole Yu-Jin mess was not clarified, also with Choon-Seung and how he got locked up, made me feel really mad and frustrated.
And then they had a cook-off in the end which was rather underwhelming…
The mother was really annoying too. Even the cold-hearted brother Sun-Woo changed into being good in the end but the mother was still being a heartless sucess monger.
So to sum up, The beginning was slow, the middle was fast-paced and exciting, the end was a let down.
My favorite scene was when the actor from Lovely Jogger enters the restaurant (played by Park Ji-Hoon aka the main lead of Weak Hero Class) And Choon-Seung goes like “Wait a minute, which high-school did you go to? 😂😂😂😂 It was SUCH an obvious reference to Weak Hero Class I was cracking upppp!!!! Best scene in the drama for sure!
I think it’s a nice little watch with only 10 episodes.

Overall, I liked the show. I liked the food elements a lot. I thought the show started off pretty good. I am all for a romcom with good food as a backdrop. What I was supremely annoyed about is the show goes 9 episodes without telling the main characters backstory. Which sucked b/c episode 9 was filler which made episoide 10 feel rushed and the conflict between the leads was abrupt and too easily resolved. My main issue with the show, however, is that it relied on the same old Kdrama tropes like bringing an ex into the fold and having an ego driving parent pit their children against each other.
Kang Han Neul was stiff in the role but I still liked his scenes with Go Min Si and they worked well together. Overall the supporting cast was great and the comic relief was fun. I also, really enjoyed the Weak Hero Class 2 wink/nod. Very cool!

It's not a must watch but it's reallyy good!!
I recommend you this one but it is not that good so it is not a must watch. If you are the one who is interested in these restaurant or cooking type of kdrama then this one is perfect for you and a bit spice of love in it.*SPOILERS AHEAD*
The female lead is a owner of a restaurant but that restaurant is very underrated but their food is very delicious. There is this male lead who is also a owner of a restaurant and their restaurant is very famous in the whole in the whole city but their food quality is getting worse day by day. Then he found the female lead restaurant he asked her to cook him some delicious food and he tasted it and went in heaven. So he asked her to give her recipes to him and then her restaurant will be famous too liek they made a deal but she didn't agree on it because she wanted to do it on her own. Then he left his company and joined her to start and earn some profits and his intention towards her restaurant was not wrong it was completely right to put in efforts more that she is been doing from many years and now earn profits now. They also hired two people from their neighbourhood so they would help them.
When there he used to work at his company there was a chef who used to like him and he know it then people who were working at the female lead restaurant used to call her his ex gf but she was not so she was resigned from his company and joined the male lead brother's company. The character of his brother is shown as a negative character he used to not treat a well the girl who used to like the male lead. That girl came to that restaurant in which the female lead is the owner of she went there and said he is trying to trap you and will steal your recipes. Both male lead were falling for each other until that girl said this and the female lead started having trust issues from him. Then when everything was going good and she trusted him again. The female lead actual EX came and he wanted to say that her ex and she used to work in the same restaurant so he came to say that let's go again and work together but she refused but she went to her hometown france and his ex also went their because he also lives their and the male lead was getting jealous and insecure so he also went their.
Then in the end they came together and it's a happy ending.
LET'S RATE IT:-
1. Story - The story was not thsy good according to me it was just too rough and not that good actually but it is worth watching you can try if you are bored or something if you don't have something to watch.
2. Acting - Whatever the story is and how good or bad the drama was but the acting every actor or any side actor nailed it and gave their best.
3. Music - It was also reallyy good and on point adjusting to the moment.
4. Rewatch Value - As I told you earlier it was not that good so I prefer to not rewatch it , it will be more boring.
So it's upon you that if you wanna watch this one or not for every drama I recommend you guys and make you convince but this one is like if you wanna you can it's good and if you don't wanna then don't benefit in both.

I think this series is fine for a one-time watch, but nothing more than that. It wasn’t engaging enough to linger in my mind afterward or make me want to come back to it later. While watching, I had the impression that it had a lot of potential, but that potential was wasted. Many elements of the series felt like filler to me, and even if they weren’t meant to be, the script turned them into such. A lot of potentially interesting topics weren’t developed, and some of the solutions were simply absurd.Starting with the main culinary storyline, which for most of the series was the most interesting and, in my opinion, the best handled one — toward the end it became full of absurdities. Beginning with the fact that no one at the restaurant knew they had been awarded three stars and only found out from other people or the internet. Then there was the biggest flop, which at the same time had great potential: the cooking battle — how on earth did no one verify the results if it was announced as a win rather than a draw? Why did the guy who was the head of Diamond storm off offended instead of explaining the situation? An absurd situation, topped off by the cherry on the cake: a family breakfast and a mother who suddenly allowed them to run the restaurant, even though she herself hadn’t changed for the better at all. In the end, the restaurant that stole recipes and falsified competition results kept its three stars, and no one tried to do anything about it. The falsification of the results of the first competition was also never explained. I also don’t understand what his mother was planning next. Some new restaurant — but why all these mind games?
As for the main couple — Mo Yeon Ju and Han Beom U — I have very mixed feelings. Individually, I find them interesting characters, especially him. I think he was very well written and acted. It was enjoyable to watch his character development, and you could really see how he changed, began to understand his mistakes, and tried to fix them. The only thing that puzzles me in his case is the storyline about his father, which was either never mentioned or handled so superficially that I don’t even remember it. She was also an interesting character to me. I liked her confidence and feisty personality, although at times I felt it was a bit over the top. However, in her case, the storyline about being abandoned by her parents felt like filler. It had potential and could have been interesting if it had been developed somehow — for example, if she had found her biological parents. When it comes to their relationship, though, my feelings were extremely mixed. Sometimes I liked the chemistry between them, especially from his side. From start to finish, his feelings and chemistry were clearly visible. With her, however, it was inconsistent. This was especially noticeable to me when her ex returned (which was also filler, but more on that later). I had the impression that she smiled more around her ex, was nicer to him, and that the male lead was like a clingy nuisance who was getting in their way. Maybe that’s a misinterpretation, but that’s how it came across to me. What also annoyed me was that the male lead never told her that he wasn’t the one who stole her recipes and that he had tried to prevent it earlier — in fact, he never really told her at all.
Next, I want to expand on the storyline with her ex, which I also consider filler — again, mainly because of the script. First of all, the whole idea of going to Japan with him was stupid. At that point, she was already involved with the male lead; they had been on a date, and she informed him about her departure only by letter. On top of that, she flew there with her ex. She could have gone alone, and she certainly didn’t need to spend all that time with him in Japan — visiting places from the past, shopping together, or cooking together. To me, this shows respect — or rather, a lack of respect — for a new, potential partner. Although this alone wouldn’t yet make it filler. The problem is that after the male lead stopped the merger and they returned to Korea, Le Murir was never mentioned again — not the restaurant, not the chef, not his illness, nothing. The whole topic just vanished into thin air, which is why I consider it filler. On top of that, I really didn’t like how Jeon Min, who harmed the restaurant’s founder’s health by throwing away his medication, faced no consequences whatsoever — on the contrary, he was praised and hugged by him because he supposedly cared so much about Le Murir. In what way? By selling it to a company that would later cause it to go bankrupt? I also still don’t understand why he tried to lure the female lead to Le Murir while simultaneously pushing for a merger that he knew would lead to bankruptcy.
As for other characters, I’ll only mention Jin Myeong Suk and Sin Chun Seung. I liked their conflicts and the way they teased each other. They made me laugh many times, so I consider them a nice addition. Sin Chun Seung’s character development was also interesting, and I’m glad he started doing better, finally proved his worth to his father, and took over the restaurant. The only thing I don’t understand here is the storyline with the actor from “Lovely Jogger.” Did they know each other from school? Maybe I just didn’t catch some of the comedy.
In my opinion, there’s no point in discussing the other characters, as they weren’t interesting enough to really stick in my memory or make me want to write more about them. A few pleasant characters, a few “semi-villains,” and that’s about it.

Too Much Ingredients, Most of Them are Overcooked
This show is a right example of what would happen if you keep adding ingredients into the pot while cooking and forget that the stove is on: it's going to overcook. The first half of the show is just incredible! The plot, the characters, the set, even the shots of the foods and ingredients, as well as the cooking scenes. But then I don't know what hurt the writer's head mid-show, he begins to build a story on a pile of misunderstandings which is crap.Starting with the Japan trip, this plot is extremely questionable. I can't get why Chef Mo feels responsible to make her past head chef eats well. And the way Beom-U follows her all the way to Japan, it ticks the Makjang box! How the hell does Beom-U able to find Chef Mo in such big city of Sapporo? Also remember: THEY ARE BROKE. But somehow they are able to afford two round-trip tickets, another round-trip ticket to pick a jug of doenjang, and fresh-premium ingredients for the head chef's diet. Also I don't get the problem between Chef Mo and her ex. She stepped up for her ex and resigned from her position, let's assume she did it because she was blinded by love. I don't think that's enough reason for her to resent him. What's actually going on never shown on screen. Maybe the only purpose of the Japan trip is a kiss in the middle of Sapporo street.
All of those irrelevant premises then mixed by a series of countless stupid misunderstandings which is frustrating. They also keep adding unecessary plots such as the arsonist and the temple trip. I mean with such short number of episodes, they should have to be more focus with Jungjae and Hansang! The final cooking showdown is no less ridiculous! How come the PD obeys Chairman Han all the way? He is just fine when the Chairman twisting the showdown result! The show then wrapped with some questionable endings, as expected. What happen to Motto then, when you especially say that "you need to think about my people who work at that restaurant"? At the end of the day, they forgot the soul of this show. The very last cooking in the final episode has neither cooking scenes nor eyepleasing shots of the foods.
The only positive side of this show is the comedy is totally unexpected. I never thought such exhilirating comedy will come out from a show like this. I can't unsee it now, I really want to laugh everytime I see Kang Ha Neul's face. Go Min Si does a great job playing a self-driven chef (only if the character personality stays the whole show, because it doesn't). ML and FL don't have childhood relationship, which deserves a round of applause for a K-Drama in 2025.
It will be difficult to cook too much ingredients in one pot. Some will be good, others may be undercook, the others may be overcook. This show has a premium raw ingredients, but only some of them are well cooked. Watch this show if you just want to enjoy a great comedy and can bear a meaningless story.
