Good Drama
In my opinion, this drama isn't as bad as it's written here. Believe me, I've watched much worse dramas, and they have at least an 8. First of all, there were some ridiculous things in the drama, but I think some of them fell into place because the president was alive. Because she was already part of his plan. Youngran, on the other hand, wasn't an NIS agent. So, it's your fault for expecting extraordinary performances. The drama's cinematography was excellent. The acting, except for Jinyoung, was great. I think it's the wrong ML choice. I really, really loved the final episode. I think it's a 9/10.Was this review helpful to you?

Not a waste of time. It's actually good.
This is a short drama. But I must say there wasn't enough story to tell. However this can have a prequel or sequel.Favorite character was Baek Hye Ji. She had this special Coocoo for Coco puff. You didn't;t know what to expect. Is she a spy? nope. Was she going to turn on Kim Yeong Ran? Nope, turns out the poor girl just wanted a genuine friendship.
And who else thought Jeon Dong Min was the Heir that the chairman wanted to give the company and his wealth to? I thought he was like his lost son that he had to keep a secret because his stepkids killed his bio daughter.
There are a lot of unanswered plot twist. But I am happy with the ending. Because evil lost.
But I am impressed with Jang Yoon Ju. She got to play a evil character and she did so well. I am used to see he as a wholesome supporting role. The whole time I was like unnie.. come through with the range...
But I need her to play a super bad ass next role. where she whoops so much behind

A Great Makjang - Not for Everyone Though
I should preface this by saying that I am a huge JYB fan and follow all of her projects. Our Movie was so outstanding and cinematic that I obviously couldn't help but expect the same kind of quality for Ms. Incognito. I can't say I'm disappointed, but at the same I found myself scratching my head and going "huh?" at several points in the drama. My biggest grievance is the writing. This had soooo much potential, but there were just too many plotholes, unimaginative red herrings, and just overall lack of coherence. I understand it's a makjang, but I don't think a story with its elements tied together properly is too much to ask.
I also think the pacing is strange. Don't get me wrong , I enjoyed and laughed a lot at the Muchang episodes, but those scenes were just stretched a bit too long that it started to feel slow. Then when the crime/thriller scenes hit again, they're done too fast and too furious that I feel like some major expositions were rushed and thus felt underdeveloped.
Also, kamdong-nim, you said 40% romance!!! But there weren't enough romantic scenes between YR and DM to enjoy. And it was just too bad because I really adored their chemistry sooo much and despaired when the kissing scene was too short!!!! Come on, we deserve more romance!
The best parts of the drama though are the direction and performances. All the actors came to WORK. I really regret there weren't too many bitch-off scenes between YR and SY because every time they appear together, the suspense and tension is so fricking delicious!!!
Also, JJY-sshi, don't listen to the haters. I loved your character, I love your acting, and I love you now too. Will look forward to your next work.
And my Yeobeen, what else can I say about your performance? You're the kind of actor that people write about and study in film schools. Apart from that, you seem so genuinely kind and fun to be around. Even though I can't give this drama a perfect 10, I have enjoyed every episode and am so happy about the hype and recognition it's getting. It's all well deserved.
Having said all that, my final rating is 7.5-8/10.

Rage-bait
Ms. Incognito had a promising start with a strong, smart female lead and a unique take on a contract marriage. The first two episodes were gripping, with a well-set storyline full of potential. However, once the story moved to the small town in episode 3, it started going downhill. Except for the villain, no one seemed focused or competent. The female lead, who was strong and capable at the start, suddenly forgot all her skills and abilities and spent most of her time playing homemaker. She made poor decisions that led to even worse outcomes. The strong, independent character became a damsel in distress who constantly needed saving, even the ‘dead’ chairman had to step in to carry out the revenge plot. With each passing episode, the story grew more disoriented and frustrating.
Despite the execution flaws, the heart of the story felt like it was in the right place. Jeon Yeo-been’s acting was solid; she played her role well. The romance, however, felt unnecessary and lacked impact. The story could have worked just as well without it.
I’m being generous with the rating since I felt like it’s not totally a terrible watch.

How “Miss Incognito” Turned a Strong Woman into a Crying Weakling in the Name of Love
MY FINAL COMMENT: 1/10 FOR OLD GUYThis drama started like a gem and turned into pure garbage. A college professor who can erase a corpse from a crime scene while dozens of cops obey her like trained dogs? The prosecutor bows to her in her own home, and I swear, next episode we’ll probably see the President of Korea come to lick her boots. What started as an intelligent thriller turned into a circus of nonsense.
The female lead went from a cool, composed, strong woman to a crying, confused, cheating wife. The male lead transformed from a mysterious, stoic man into Cinderella in jail—spouting emotionless lines with zero acting skill or expression. This show didn’t just fall off—it jumped headfirst into the trash bin.
EP 11 ENDING SCENE,
RICH PEOPLE DOESNT HAVE LOCKS ON THERE DOORS,
BUTLER CHOI IS SO LOYALTO PROFESSOR, why ? NO NEED TO ANSWER
Condensed Review Summary:
Episodes 1–2: A Brilliant Start
The series began strong, with emotional depth and mature storytelling. The relationship between Chairman Ga Sung Ho and Kim Yeong Ran was raw, tragic, and touching. Yeong Ran’s decision to marry him out of debt and desperation felt real, human, and beautifully restrained. The Chairman’s self-inflicted death scene was heart-wrenching, and his actor’s performance elevated the whole story.
Episodes 3–5: Promise and Decline
After the Chairman’s death, Yeong Ran’s transformation into “Bu Se Mi” in the village opened interesting story potential. But Episode 3 shifted into awkward comedy and cheap romance, betraying the quiet strength that made the early episodes great. The show briefly recovered in Episodes 4–5, showing progress and reconnecting with its emotional core.
Episodes 6–9: Total Character Collapse
By Episode 6, the male lead became inconsistent and emotionless—acting without logic or motivation. The romance felt forced, chemistry nonexistent. The FL’s intelligence and independence were stripped away just to make her cry over an undeserving man. Even side characters like Tae Min and Hye Ji outperformed the supposed leads.
Episodes 10–11: Logic Dies, Chaos Reigns
The writing hits rock bottom:
Ga Seon Yeong somehow controls police, prosecutors, and even travel bans like she’s running a lawless empire.
A professional killer forgets how to shoot.
A USB gets “destroyed” by slippers.
Everyone turns against the richest woman in Korea with zero reason.
The ML keeps asking useless questions and sulks like a zombie.
What began as a story of survival, courage, and quiet emotion has turned into a joke filled with plot holes, broken logic, and fake love.
Final Verdict:
Miss Incognito started as a deep, emotional drama with an extraordinary first two episodes. But by Episode 11, it has collapsed into nonsensical writing, emotionless acting, and laughable logic.
💔 From masterpiece to mess — a fall from grace in just twelve hours.

Quite Disappointing to be Frank!!
What happens when suddenly one day, you end up inheriting a fortune & there are too many people who want you dead! This was one of those shows that starts in a magnanimous manner; the story seems gripping interesting in the first two episodes. So, you expect some classy vengeance scripted by the supposedly daredevil female lead. She tries, but in the end, the script nosedives and you are left disappointed. The biggest letdown about this show is its inconsistency, like it doesn’t know where it is exactly headed. The story focuses on Kim Yeong Ran, who is hired by the Gaseong Group Chairman to first become his bodyguard and later, a contractual wife. He alongside his very competent lawyer, Lee Don even have a contingency plan ready for Yeong Ran’s survival after the Chairman’s staged death. The catch is that Yeong Ran gets his family fortune in exchange for seeking revenge on his very creepy stepdaughter, Ga Seon Yeong. The said stepdaughter is more conniving and competent than all the antagonists in the Korean drama industry. That was possibly the only good thing about this show; it had an accomplished villain, because Seon Yeong is goddamn scary.

A Captivating Survival Mission!
Ms. Incognito delivers a brilliant premise that hooks you from the very first episode. The story of Kim Young-ran (played by the always amazing Jeon Yeo-been), a bodyguard from a humble background who enters into a contractual marriage with a terminally ill chaebol president, starts off filled with tension and tragedy. The first episodes immerse you in a mature drama, with an unexpected emotional depth. Young-ran’s need to assume a new identity and survive for three months as a teacher in a rural village, while evading those who covet the inheritance, offers an addictive mix of action, mystery, and vulnerability.
Jeon Yeo-been shines with her ability to convey complex emotions and subtlety. Her character, a strong and intelligent woman, serves as the emotional anchor that keeps you watching. We see her struggle with survival, justice, and guilt in a role that fits her perfectly.
The shift to the rural setting adds a fascinating contrast to the corporate intrigue. The dynamic between the protagonist and the mysterious strawberry farmer Dong-min (Jinyoung) brings a fresh touch of comedy and a slow-burn romance that many viewers will adore. Jung Jin-young adds an unexpected warmth, his seemingly simple character carries the story with genuine humanity.
If you’re looking for a drama that grips you with a high-stakes premise and the charismatic performance of its lead, Ms. Incognito is definitely worth a watch for its intense beginning and the unexpected twists that keep unfolding.

Reminded Me of Pushing Daisies
I was really surprised by all the low ratings for this one, as I really enjoyed it. The style of this show reminds me of a quirky American show called Pushing Daisies. It is what I would call a Dramedy, bizarre, over the top characters, with eclectic music & colors, and whimsy story lines interspersed with gore and insanity. I guess not everyone enjoys this type of thing but I thought it was great. Was this review helpful to you?
Could be better
It feels raw, it need to be re-written and needed more episodes to develop everything. Could have more funny moments in the village, and we see how a cold and strong woman learn to go easy and bound with the villagers and especially the kids, a big thing in the sinopse is that she is going to pretend to be a teacher but barely have scenes of she being one, and the main couple feels forced feels like he loved her outoff nowhere if the kdrama had more time I think it could develop better their enemies to friends to lovers arc. And a lot of plots of the villagers like the love triangle and the restaurant owners who said they were afraid of she knowing their restaurant was fake bc shes from Seon, but nothing happens. Was this review helpful to you?

Strong start messy ending
This story started off as a kdrama worth watching over and over again and then is well all over the place. The main theme is an executive of a food company and has a daughter from a first wife and two step children from a woman who built the company that he's the CEO. He's afraid that the two step children will destroy the company that his wife of one year , who died in an accident,He always hires women as body guards and the FL after an impressive job interview is hired. As the story develops we learn the CEO has 6 months to lives and develops a plan to marry the FL, 40 years younger, and has her sign a contract giving her all his majority shares and having her prove the step daughter murdered his daughter.
The plan is for the FL to hide in a city without rail or air connection from Seoul. This is where the plot starts having holes, confusion, and really should have gotten new writers, instead of 4 episodes and I'm done writers. Her hiding becomes known to some of the towns people, then known to the bad people. The ML is a single strawberry farmer in the hiding town with a kid. Of course, that means they have to become involved with the baddies. The kid sees what he thinks is his real mom, so he gets in a car to 'chase' her. The car stop 2 blocks from where we see the back of a woman go into a store. After finding the kid, no one wonders who picked up the kid? The FL is a black belt and whenever she fights, where the baddie is to get away, she of course loses in two swings. She has a gun on a guy and he kicks it out of her hand. What kind of body guard would she ever have made?
It always seem in these Kdramas that the bad guy has and army of 10 or more to the good guy's army of two. Also it seems that day and night seem to be 10 minutes apart. We see a scene where something happens and it day light and the person drives away and 10 minutes later it's night or it''l be night time and the next scene it day light even those it's a continuous scene.
The story line might be good for a 2 hour movie, but for a 12 episode series, they had to do a lot of fill in, which made the viewer wondering what just happened or why is it dragging on.
Watch at your own risk as you'll be scratching your head after episode 5 on.

Strange plot. This bodyguard who agrees to marry her boss who is old and sick in order to be able to stand up to his heirs. A lot of crazy people.Episodes 7 and 8, what a nervous. She has money, she's able to defend her and she's still under the thumb (subjugated) of her mother? Tell her to go to hell!
Maybe hide the money and not leave it available to everyone?
Her character, who acts "strong" but has so many weaknesses, disappointed me a little. But more than that it's the plot that doesn't convince.
While I liked the male character, the father who raises his son alone, better. A kind, honest and helpful person.
Episode 10 I lowered the rating. What a bad idea to let this father be blamed in a murder case.
She played her game badly against the heirs (people stabbed, people kidnapped, money wasted left and right, etc.) all to get what? A piece of paper and a gun to commit suicide?
This poor protagonist certainly had a terrible life, but who made her put herself in such a situation?
All in all, she wasn't much of a bodyguard!
