GMMTV, continui a stupirmi

just give it a try
Honestly loved how there was plot twist in every ep a new turn of events!Absolutely loved the acting!! Forcebook really did do a good job.
But some things that i felt could've been better were how to story was paced, so part n plot just felt off n could've been better.
Other than that it surely worth watching!

A Tale of Gazillion Lies: ForceBook’s Boldest Turn Yet
When the mock trailer for Melody of Secrets first dropped, I was genuinely thrilled. At last, a properly serious, high-stakes series for Force and Book. After seeing what they could do in Peaceful Property, I knew they had the range — they just needed the right material. The official trailer only heightened that anticipation. It was cryptic, moody, and refreshingly confident in not spelling everything out. And when the series finally premiered, it delivered something even heavier and more ambitious than expected.Produced by GMMTV and distributed on ONE31 and Viu, Melody of Secrets is a 10-episode mystery-romance thriller that blends crime investigation, memory loss, and emotional drama with surprising intelligence. Directed by Tle Tawan Charuchinda and Arisa Wawwanjit, and adapted from the novel by Baengpan Homchan, the series follows crime journalist Botphleng (Book Kasidet Plookphol), who loses key memories after a devastating accident. When a mysterious diary surfaces, claiming he once loved criminologist Tankhun (Force Jiratchapong Srisang), his search for truth spirals into a layered investigation involving murder, identity, and long-buried secrets.
Let’s be honest — this isn’t an easy watch. It’s heavy. It demands your full attention. It doesn’t spoon-feed answers or repeat information for viewers who blink. Some audiences clearly struggled with that. Many didn’t like how unpredictable it was or how little it explained outright. But personally? I loved that. This isn’t a messy plot that’s all over the place — it’s tightly written and deliberately unravelled. Every line matters. Every clue comes back later. It keeps you on edge without resorting to cheap twists or clichés.
The psychological thriller aspect is where the show truly shines. It keeps you in the dark almost until the end, layering twists that genuinely make you rethink what you thought you understood. I was hooked four episodes in and fully invested in where it would take me next. The plot feels fresh for a BL — the memory loss angle combined with investigative suspense gives it a distinct identity that sets it apart from the usual formula.
That said, the romance doesn’t always land as strongly as the mystery. At times, it feels like the romantic beats could’ve been integrated more organically or given more emotional build-up. I’m a fan of yearning and slow-burn angst, and I do think Tanpleng’s emotional tension could have been explored even deeper. The pacing is a curious mix — sometimes slow, sometimes surprisingly rushed — and with only ten episodes, the story occasionally feels like it needed more breathing room.
Performance-wise, though, Force and Book absolutely step up. This is easily some of their strongest work to date. The emotional scenes — particularly the breakdowns — feel raw and earned. Their chemistry is immediate and convincing, and they carry the weight of the story beautifully. The supporting cast, including Jan Ployshompoo, Boun Noppanut, and Ployphach Phatchatorn, add solid depth and texture to the narrative. There isn’t a weak link in the ensemble.
Visually, the series is polished and cinematic. The lighting and framing give it a distinct glow, and the soundtrack — especially “Dark and Light” and “Endless Love Song” — elevates the emotional beats perfectly. The music isn’t just background; it deepens the atmosphere and reinforces the tension between light and shadow that defines the story.
Not everyone will appreciate a show that requires patience and attention. Some viewers focus purely on romantic or NC scenes and miss the bigger narrative structure. But for those who enjoy layered mysteries, psychological tension, and storytelling that respects its audience’s intelligence, this one is worth your time. It’s not flawless — the pacing wobbles and the genre fusion isn’t always seamless — but it’s bold, different, and memorable.
Overall, Melody of Secrets is an intelligent, suspenseful BL that refuses to play it safe. It kept me guessing, kept me engaged, and genuinely surprised me. And in a sea of predictable plots, that alone makes it stand out.

The other side of Force and Book we should see.
Before I start, I just want to say that t is not everyone's cup of tea, especially with drama touching on Serial Murder case and Mental health, so do not push yourself if you are finding it hard.I was patient with it. A first it was confusing and following the plot became a bit challenging. So i decided to give it time and came back after a few episodes had aired and watched it without trying hard to figure the answers.
I will have to admit that it took me up to episode 8 to get really hooked and that is where everything made sense, I mean yes we do not expect a Mystery to drop all the good things in the first episodes.
I will give it to the 2 main leads, they really did their best bringing the story to life... I am not used to seeing Book in such roles and it was beautiful seeing the other side when the fluffiness and goofiness is paused. The story is not an easy one, It is full of emotional roller coaster, at one point we are battling the idea of Dissociative Identity Disorder /or they thought hehe/
, at another point we are battling the idea of understanding what love really is and another Acceptance and letting go. The two main leads have led such pitiful life but finding each other opened doors to experiences and feelings they had never or rather have been shut down.
Also The OSTs are beautiful. Currently I am hang up on the Endless Love Song sang By Force... I wound suggest you give it a listen... it sure is beautiful.
my first review... xoxo

Poor directing
First of all, I love ForceBook, with that in mind, this series isn't their best work. The plot actually good with some good twists and everything, however the execution is bad. There is no world building, the character's interactions are pretty much linear, meaning, every scene feels like a part instead of a whole storyline. Their world is so empty with only few background characters that don't even interact that much with the main casts so it felt bland.
The acting, Book is getting better especially on expressing the emotions, however Force is the contrary, he's not bad but also not good, his expression almost feels the same throughout the series, there are some parts where I can see he actually have potential.
I think they just need a better director and better scripts, ForceBook have the potential to be the it pairing especially since their background is basically a BL story itself lowkey. This series just isn't it. 😓

Not bad but it deserved more attention to the plot
I recently finished Melody, and I can say that the real problem with this series is the PLOT. ForceBook did a great job conveying the emotions; there were some really beautiful scenes, and I especially liked the ending (it really saved itself at the end). I also quite liked the music, I think I will listen It. If you've seen several ForceBook series and want to check out this one, I recommend it. Otherwise, I recommend checking out their other series, which are more worthwhileHope this is helpful :)

A series I’m glad I didn't skip
I almost let the discouraging reviews keep me from starting this series and I’m so glad I didn’t. Taking a chance on this series turned me into a fan of its two leads, and especially of Book whose acting is an absolute standout.Visually, the show is stunning. The color grading has this soft, dreamlike quality that makes everything feel slightly unreal, as if I’m suspended in the same hazy, uncertain space as the characters. That aesthetic perfectly complements the mystery theme you’re meant to feel disoriented, curious, and pulled along by secrets unfolding beneath the surface.
What really stayed with me is how sincerely romantic this series feels. Both Force and Book’s characters love with the same intensity and loyalty, and you can feel that balance in every interaction: no chasing, just two people choosing each other again and again. Force’s character in particular, radiates this steady, reassuring affection that makes their relationship feel safe, grounded, and deeply cherished. The show is also full of soft, affectionate touches like kisses, hugs, and other displays of affection that make their love feel natural, constant, and completely believable 🥰 Even the OST deepens that emotional pull. Both of their songs are beautifully sung, and Force’s in particular brings me to tears every time I hear it in a scene. Their bond becomes the emotional spine of the mystery, which makes every revelation hit harder.
I genuinely can’t believe some viewers dismissed the show after episode one because they “didn’t understand what was going on.” It’s a mystery series of course you’re not meant to have all the answers immediately.
And that final episode? Beautifully wrapped up.
To me, this series is a truly underrated gem. It’s possibly one of my favorite gmm series. I’m so glad I ignored the early negativity and experienced it for myself. I’m officially a new fan of the two main leads.

Could have been the best suspense drama this year but failed cz of bad writing. It's ok not the best
Okay this drama really had soo much potential just with the plot twist i can say there were issues with the execution. It's good but could have been exceptional. The person who wrote this drama definitely doesn't have experience or has little experience working with this genre or is really bad at it.The drama has really good and unexpected plot twists. I never expected her to be the killer🙃. There were 0 hints but my guess about BP not being the real son was right but i thought real BP and TP died together🙃 idk how i missed that.
It also has some gaps in the story which i feel the novel would have explained. I just don't understand TT's (fake BP) father Thun like how did he let his son get hypnotized n live like that🙄. Also TT is a nice kid so i think he'd have agreed to pretend to be BP to save the mom's life if they just told him the truth.
That random ass singing made me laugh. Like what the hell was the director or writer thinking. Atleast add a backstory to that song like it comforts him or it's their thing. There's a sad scene and suddenly they start singing😆. The story is such a gem the screenwriter and director fucked up lol.
Its a 10 episode drama so it could be like
Ep 1 - BP gets this random diary from his BF and when he goes to investigate it he gets framed for a murder
Ep 2 - His BF gets him out of the case (showing subtle hints that TK was faking it ), past reminiscence and relationship deepening
Ep 3 - falling in love reveal that TB is TK
Ep 4 - betrayal and guilt for loving his dead BF's brother (ik he doesn't remember his BF but just the thought is kinda disgusting. Ur BF's brother took advantage of ur amnesia and got intimate with u that's not normal)
Ep 5 - conversation and coming in terms deciding to start fresh
Ep 6 - falling in love again, suspecting something is weird about BP's memories and actions once he is in contact with his family
Ep 7 - informing BP about this suspension and BP looking into it
Ep 8 - reveal that BP's family killed TP and BP feeling guilty TK comforting
Ep 9 - serial killer reveal, truth behind BP memory loss reveal
Ep 10 - truth behind TP death reveal and happy ending
They should have done this instead of those filler episodes in the middle. They should have added more emotional depth to the drama and it'd be just. It did get better in the last 2 episodes but i it's hard to finish the middle🤌🤌🤌🤌

Beyond Expectations: The Spellbinding Allure of Melody of Secrets
Coming to the story, the plot truly kept me on the edge of my seat. It felt like I was investigating alongside the characters, constantly wondering what would happen next. I can’t quite put it into words, but ForceBook did an amazing job, and as always, he’s incredibly handsome. The costume and makeup teams also did a stellar job enhancing his look. The villain’s identity was a complete surprise, and the emotions portrayed by every character were truly impressive. I’ve never written a review before, but this series deserves one. I’ve noticed that some viewers drop out midway because the plot can be confusing, but trust me, this is far from the typical college or high school love story. When ForceBook mentioned they were trying something different, they really delivered. The acting is top-notch, and I wholeheartedly recommend giving this series a try.

Love this series
Melody of Secrets has been a really fun watch so far. The mystery pulls you in early and keeps you thinking, which is honestly the best part of the drama. Every episode makes you question what you know, and I’ve lost count of how many theories I’ve come up with while watching. What I like most is that I genuinely have no idea where the story is going. It doesn’t feel predictable at all, and just when you think you’re onto something, the drama shifts again. That unpredictability is what keeps me invested and looking forward to each new episode.
You can tell the production team has a clear vision for the story. The way the mystery is being built feels intentional and well thought out rather than random. The actors are also doing a great job making us go through so many emotions.
So, Melody of Secrets has been really enjoyable, definitely worth checking out.
