A Haunting Melody of Love, Lies, and Memory
I have always loved crime scenes, murder, and investigation stories, so pairing that genre with BL already had me excited. What made it even better is seeing one of my favourite couples, ForceBook, back on screen. Force as Tankoon, a criminologist, and Book as Botphleng, a crime journalist, is honestly a perfect pairing. Their chemistry is strong, natural, and convincing, and their acting feels more mature and grounded than ever.We have seen ForceBook in both office and university BLs before, so getting them in a fresh mystery crime genre feels like such a breath of fresh air. The first two episodes completely hooked me. I was genuinely shocked by how many kiss scenes we got in the very first episode. The idea of kissing someone when you do not remember anything about them, yet your heart and instincts know you have loved and kissed them before, was portrayed so beautifully. It felt intimate, unsettling, and emotional all at once.
I will be honest, like many viewers, I was confused during the first episode. But it was a good kind of confusion. The title has the word Secrets for a reason. The storytelling is deliberately fragmented, and that sense of disorientation puts you right into Botphleng’s state of mind.
For anyone who felt lost after episode one, do not give up or judge it too quickly. The confusion is intentional. If everything were explained from the start, the mystery and tension that make this genre so addictive would completely disappear. With eight more episodes to go, the series is clearly designed to keep you questioning, uneasy, and constantly guessing, and that is exactly what makes it so compelling.
There is no second couple in this series, which actually works in its favour, as it keeps the focus tight and intense. I am also glad they added Boun to the cast. He is a strong actor and adds another layer of intrigue to the story.
So far, the plot feels unique, the acting is strong across the board, and the atmosphere is dark, suspenseful, and emotionally charged.
Personally, I think this series has been executed really well and perfectly captures the tone of a true psychological and suspense BL. I am genuinely looking forward to the remaining episodes, because if it continues at this level, Melody of Secrets could easily become one of GMMTV’s standout BLs.

People are hating this series for no reason?
Crime+suspense is definitely not my cup of tea but I git nothing to watch and this is ForceBook so thought I'd give it a go. Let me review this episode by episode cz people are just being super unreasonable. This is the kinda series where u need to turn ur brain on and watchEp1: here i agree the 1st 10 mins can make u wanna drop this drama. It reminds u of forcebook enchantè and peaceful property at the same time. If u survive that it gets better. From what i see bot lost his memories and he gets his diary from before he lost his memory and his lover from 10 years ago asks him to meet but when he gets there they both get involved in a murder case.. from what i see i dont think tan has a twin instead i feel like after the accident he's here for revenge against bot and wants him to remember his past before he does it. Also the interrogation scene the script is kinda off. Literally guys 1st 15 mins the script and direction is off i can't say anything to save that after that it gets better
Ep2: now i kinda suspect probably tan is a twin but i still feel he wouldn't get intimate with bot that easily if he was a twin and is tan himself.. and his reason could be the same reason y he never contacted bot for 10 years. I think the murder is someone external not any of the main casts... lmao drama soo good i suspect everyone including the leads😆

How to tell a story without telling a story...
The first episode delivers impressively nuanced storytelling, weaving together emotional mystery and criminal intrigue with a confidence that immediately pulls the viewer in. By pairing Botphleng’s memory loss with Tankhun’s claim of being his first love, the narrative creates an instant emotional charge, one that feels both intimate and unsettling. The diary adds another clever layer, serving not only as a fragment of Botphleng’s past but also as a potential tool of manipulation, leaving us unsure which character is telling the truth. Tankhun’s line “If you were faking your memory loss, you wouldn’t have come here” lands with striking ambiguity: it could be reassurance, a confession of longing, or a subtle attempt to control the situation. This blend of vulnerability, suspicion and unresolved affection gives the episode an emotional depth that feels genuinely human. It’s a smart, compelling foundation that promises a complex and emotionally charged story to come. Interestingly, this is just about how most of the trailer looks like, meaning there is much more for us to know in coming weeks!
The dynamic between Botphleng and Tankhun is clearly positioned to deepen, whether toward genuine love, emotional manipulation, or a revelation that recontextualizes everything we’ve seen. The diary hints at a storyline where memories, secrets, and evidence become increasingly intertwined, especially as the criminal investigation advances. Most importantly, the episode’s willingness to leave questions open rather than rushing toward answers shows that future episodes are likely to peel back layers slowly, revealing new motives, shifting power dynamics, and emotional complexities. In short, episode one promises a series that values tension, ambiguity, and slow-burning character development, suggesting we’re only at the surface of something far more intricate.
The strength of this first episode sets up a future that feels emotionally rich and narratively unpredictable. Its careful balance of romance, mystery, and psychological tension suggests that the series will continue to blur the line between truth and perception, keeping viewers unsure of who to trust and what Botphleng’s past really contains.

First Impression: Melody of Secrets
Overall: episode 1 was a bit confusing; however, I like that it's a bit different for a premise. 10 episodes about 45 minutes each. Airing on GMMTV's YouTube channel https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLszepnkojZI6XS68TbMnSxkKingYfxiXv&si=f3hz9MktxKrIILB- (not available in Thailand)Content Warning: episode 1 part 1 has a jump scare around 16:30, past murder body shown
What I Liked
- mystery
Room For Improvement
- confusing start with multiple time jumps/memories
- why would a character wait that many years to approach another character?
