the best GMMTV series

i fear to say that this is the best GMMTV series... by the story,by the actors and acting, music, ending just everything.every episode i cried, from happiness, sadness etc.(im not that type who's crying from series). i saw tons of BL's especially from GMMTV but this is just so special,im so happy that they put PerthSanta to this story (but like tbh from the start it was kind weird to see Perth in character which is greenflag and not toxic or something like that but then it was the best thing to watch). im amazed how Santa did the job to acted 2 characters, cause tbh some actors can't do even one.really loved that Pombek never had a thought that he will leave Solar/Sun,it was so sweet i always cried when i thought of that.
so yea im so happy 'bout this series if u want to watch to do it!!

Love You Teacher is genuinely one of the best series I’ve watched in a long time.

I already had high expectations after watching the pilot trailer, but now that the full series has aired, I can confidently say that it exceeded them. This is the kind of series that has been amazing from beginning to end, and every part of it, from the directing to the writing to the acting, works together beautifully.

I don’t give out 10/10 ratings easily. Even when I personally enjoy a series, I still try to be fair in my ratings because storytelling quality matters a lot to me. So the fact that this series ended up being a 10 for me really says something.

What impressed me the most was the directing.

P'Dome did a phenomenal job bringing this story to life. Every creative decision felt intentional. From the camera work to the color grading to the visual framing of the flashback scenes, the series constantly showed a clear artistic vision. There are so many moments that stood out visually, but one of my favorites was the scene where the camera moves together with the fan. It’s such a small detail, but it reflects how carefully thought-out the direction is throughout the entire series.

It’s honestly rare to watch a BL series where the director’s identity and vision feel this clear, and it made me an even bigger fan of his work.

The writing is just as strong.

I’ve heard that the original novel is excellent as well, which makes sense, but adapting a novel into a series is never easy. A lot of adaptations either rush through important moments or spend too much time on unnecessary scenes. This series manages to find an almost perfect balance with its pacing. The emotional moments are given room to breathe without the story ever feeling slow.

Last, but not least, is the acting.

Perth and Santa have incredible chemistry together, but what really impressed me is how believable they felt as a couple who had already been together for seven years. That’s actually much harder to portray than a new relationship, but their dynamic felt completely natural from the start.

Santa especially stood out to me because he essentially had to play two roles at once: Sun and Solar. That’s a difficult challenge for any actor, especially during scenes where the switches between the two happen rapidly, but he handled it perfectly. You could genuinely feel the anxiety, confusion, and emotional exhaustion right alongside the characters.

I honestly feel like I could keep talking about this series forever, but this is one of those shows that people really need to experience for themselves.

I can’t recommend this series enough. If you’ve been thinking about watching it, do it. I truly don’t think it’ll disappoint.

Beautiful story about trauma, healing, love, and care

I didn't think when I started the first episode that this would be the one drama that would dare me into writing my first public review instead of keeping it just in my private notes... But I just have to after finishing the final epiosde because WOW!

I can't believe it is over... The amount of time I have spent thinking, crying, and smiling over this show in the past weeks is crazy. It's the best piece of media I've watched this year so far (and I've watched other amazing stuff like Khemjira or Paradise of Thorns only this year, soooo...)
Just what an absolute beautiful story about trauma, healing, love, and care!!!

To me, this show is once again proof why-TO ME-the thai dramas are often so superior compared to the ones in other countries... Because, as Puhwin put so eloquently put it, BL isn't a genre, and that's just how they treat it here… It is foremost a story about trauma and healing, and the leads happen two men in love. The trauma and the coping mechanisms are handled really well, the only thing that was a bit… underwhelming and unrealistic for me was Pobmek's mom immediately switching gears after everything she did. But, I guess, the main focus was Solar/Sun's trauma, so I didn't take a lot away from everything else being so well done.

The acting is top-notch, honestly. Big applause to everyone, but especially Santa. Playing both Solar and little Sun so distinctly was amazing, and probably the reason I cried so much basically every episode.

Pobmek and Solar's love is just soooo beautiful? PLS LORD MAY A LOVE LIKE THIS FIND ME SOME DAY cause fuuuucking hell, I wanna be loved and supported and seen like these two do for each other.

This will stay with me for a while and I'm gonna recommend this to everyone who cares and doesn't care!

one of the best shows gmmtv has produced. definitely worth watching

i literally have nothing bad to say about this show. it is easily one of the best shows ive ever watched. if anyone is considering watching this, definitely do! it's so worth it and SO UNDERRATED.
i will be honest and say that i cried in every episode!
and of course, we'll miss nong sun so much.

the representation of different mental health topics is what really pulled me into this show. there's representation of ocd, depression, age regression (a way of the brain to cope with traumatic events) and it is done SO WELL.
this show has love, sadness, found family, everything you could possibly think of, all combined into a masterpiece.

perthsanta nailed their roles.
i really really REALLY hope santa gets many awards for this role, i can't imagine how hard it was to play as both solar and sun, but he absolutely killed it. he's so freaking talented and I'm so hyped for any of his upcoming works, i know he can never disappoint. the panic attack scene, the distinct acting from when he switched between solar and sun, everything was absolute talent!

perth also, nailed it. im sure so many people can relate with pobmeks situation, getting compared with other people of your age, your parents trying to control your whole lives, not being able to ask for help even when you're stuck and just feeling like you're not good enough for anything. perth really nailed those feelings!

pobmek and solar are really the greenest flag couple ive seen, they helped each other get better, through thick and thin. even when pobmek was exhausted, mentally and physically, he still took care of sun/solar. solar taught pobmek that it's okay to ask for help when things aren't easy. they just complete each other <3 their domestic, lovey dovey moments will be engraved in my brain.

also kay and sammy, oh my god.
teacher jee and p' sodcheun are integral parts of the story, without them, it would've been very hard for pobmek to deal with everything. pobmek, solar, jee and sodcheuns friendship means everything to me.

jee and the ocd representation is really heartwarming to see, as someone with ocd, i rarely see a character with ocd, so this was a treat for me! while jees reactions do seem too exaggerated sometimes, it's honestly how i would feel on the inside in a similar situation. i also love pobmek and jees friendship. it really makes you think of how pobmek hated jee only because of his mother and not actually because jee was perfect. it shows another side of the story of how he was pitted against jee just because his mother had really high expectations from him. (also, some of the funniest scenes were the kids shipping pobmek and jee HAHAHAHA)

principal sodcheun and her outfits had me in awe EVERYTIME. honestly i loved everyone's outfits, but hers would always catch my eye, so over the top BUT IN AN ABSOLUTE GORGEOUS WAY. p' sammy once again, giving me a really memorable character even while not being the main. I'll keep coming back to see p' sodcheun for her iconic style and funky hairstyles 😭😭😭🫶

the kids all did so well! the series would feel incomplete. every kid had a distinct personality and i loved them all. the four and king duo is probably my favourite though, really remind me of me and my bestfriend when we were in 2nd grade together hahahahah.
also special mention to the child actor (im sorry I forgot his name!) playing nong sun, he did so well! such a talented kid :)) ive seen him in duang with you too. he always plays such traumatised characters but does it soososo well.
seeing him smiling with pobmek and solar at the beach in the last episode really warmed my heart. they're a complete family because sun will always be there with solar, in his heart and of course, with pobmek <3

im really emotional, but I'm so proud of perthsanta for this, this will really be one of their most memorable projects for me.

also I WAS NOT EXPECTING SEAKEEN?? but oh my god, they really fit those characters!!!! they're sooosososo cute as tharawayu. id love to see a spinoff of love you teacher, with seakeen <3

overall, like i said, there's nothing bad about this series. it's such a shame that gmmtv has this geoblocked in almost every country, so it didn't get as popular as it should've. but that doesn't stop me from loving it! i waited for MONTHS for this to be released and I'm really glad to say it didn't disappoint me at all. it will be a really memorable show for me. it's ingrained in my mind that i cried 10 times (every episode) THEY SAID IT WAS A ROMCOM (ahahahaha but I'm not complaining, i love me some angst).

A Heartfelt Blend of Comedy and Trauma

Love You Teacher starts off strong by effectively introducing each character and establishing the relationships and dynamics between Pobmek, Solar/Sun, Jee, and Sodchuen. From the beginning, the series creates a believable and engaging friendship between the group, while also laying the emotional foundation for the story ahead.

One of the show’s greatest strengths is its use of flashbacks. I appreciated how these moments were used to explain the emotional significance behind certain objects, memories, and interactions instead of overexplaining situations through dialogue alone. Since the series begins with Pobmek and Solar already in a relationship, the flashbacks become essential in showing how their bond developed over time. Small details, such as the meaning behind Pobmek’s umbrella, are given emotional depth through these scenes. They were beautifully shot and executed in a way that made the moments feel both heartfelt and endearing.

Solar’s transition into Sun also brought much of the show’s comedic relief, which helped balance the heavier emotional themes throughout the series. His nickname for Pobmek, “Uncle Kidnapper,” in the beginning added several genuinely funny and memorable moments. However, what stood out most to me was that Solar did not immediately want to erase Sun as quickly as everyone else did. Instead, the series gives him an honest and emotional conversation with Pobmek where he explains how he truly feels. By helping Pobmek understand Sun’s importance, the story also helps the audience understand why Solar continued reverting back to him.

I also really liked how the show incorporated objects, physical touch, conversations, and specific events as emotional triggers connected to memory and trauma. It realistically demonstrates how ordinary things in life can unexpectedly trigger memories and emotions tied to past experiences.

Pobmek trauma stems from his overbearing and controlling mother. The resolution between Pobmek and his mother did feel somewhat rushed, but considering the events that unfolded, I interpreted her sudden change as the realization of what she could potentially lose. After everything that transpired, it seemed as though she finally realized how much she stood to lose if she continued controlling her son’s life. Her decision to step back and attempt to understand him felt less like a sudden personality change and more like a realization brought on by fear, regret, and love, which finally allowed her to let her son live life on his own terms.

As for Solar, his trauma being rooted in childhood experiences made his behavior and emotional struggles understandable. His tendency to revert back to Sun was his subconscious mind attempting to process and remember painful memories he had suppressed for years. While there were still certain situations and details that could have been explained more clearly, the emotional reasoning behind his actions remained believable and consistent throughout the story.

I also think some criticism surrounding Solar “simply needing therapy” overlooks the complexity of trauma and healing. While I do believe therapy could have helped him significantly, the reality is that not everyone is emotionally prepared or willing to seek professional help, regardless of how beneficial it may be. Healing is deeply personal, and people cope with trauma in different ways. You cannot force someone into healing before they are emotionally ready

Regarding Pobmek teaching without a teaching license, the show does provide context for this situation. He may have been able to secure the position because of his mathematics degree. It is also implied that he was actively working toward obtaining his teaching license, as the series mentions he had not yet completed all the necessary requirements. Sodchuen’s only issue was forgetting to apply for a sponsor waiver, which was eventually approved after Ms. Peng was shown proof of his dedication to the job.

What makes Love You Teacher particularly effective is how well it balances serious subject matter with moments of humor and warmth. The series conveys the idea that life is filled with both hardships and joyful moments, and that healing does not require someone to constantly live in sadness or isolating oneself in darkness. Life continues even while people struggle with trauma, and moments of joy, humor, and connection can coexist alongside pain. The show emphasizes the importance of balance, acknowledging pain without allowing it to completely consume you, while still making an effort to heal and move forward.

Overall, I genuinely enjoyed Love You Teacher. The soundtrack and cinematography were used effectively to elevate many of the show’s emotional moments and strengthen the atmosphere of key scenes.

Love You Teacher Is Emotional, Warm, and Easily PerthSanta’s Best Work Yet

Love You Teacher was honestly one of my most anticipated Thai BL dramas of 2026, mainly because I completely fell for the pairing of Perth Tanapon and Santa Pongsapak in Perfect 10 Liners. From the moment the mock trailer appeared during GMMTV’s 2025 lineup reveal, I already had a feeling this pairing would work beautifully in a full-length series. When the official trailer finally dropped, my excitement only doubled. Thankfully, the actual series more than lived up to the hype. This is genuinely PerthSanta’s best project so far.

Produced by GMMTV and Parbdee Taweesuk, Love You Teacher mixes romance, school-life comedy, emotional drama, and caregiving themes into something that feels surprisingly fresh and emotionally layered. The story follows Pobmek, an elementary school teacher who does not really enjoy dealing with children, and his boyfriend Solar, a naturally gentle and caring teacher loved by everyone around him. Their relationship is already established from the start, which immediately makes the series feel different from the usual BL setup.

Everything changes after Solar experiences a traumatic accident that causes neurological damage and occasional mental regression into his seven-year-old self, Sun. It is definitely a strange and risky concept, and I will admit the constant switching between an adult man and a childlike personality can feel uncomfortable at times. But to the show’s credit, it handles the premise far more carefully than expected. Instead of turning it into something exploitative, the story focuses on the emotional consequences of caregiving, grief, exhaustion, and unconditional love.

Santa absolutely shines here. His ability to switch between Solar and Sun is honestly impressive, and I found myself fully invested in understanding his condition and emotional state. Perth is equally fantastic as Pobmek, especially during the heavier scenes where his frustration, sadness, guilt, and emotional burnout become overwhelming. I started tearing up from the very first episode, and from there the series had me emotionally invested every single week.

The chemistry between Perth and Santa remains one of the show’s biggest strengths. Their relationship feels natural, affectionate, and lived-in, which makes the emotional scenes hurt even more. Flashbacks showing how they met and fell in love help balance the present-day heaviness of the story beautifully.

Another standout for me was Kay Lertsittichai as Jee. It was refreshing seeing him play someone genuinely kind, cheerful, and approachable for once, and he added so much warmth to the school setting.

Visually, the series is one of GMMTV’s strongest-looking productions recently. The colours, costumes, and overall art direction feel vibrant and comforting without losing emotional depth. The school environment actually feels alive rather than just existing as a backdrop. Even the humour blends naturally with the heavier moments instead of ruining the emotional tone.

The soundtrack is also excellent, especially “Written in Our Hearts” (ขีดเขียนเรื่องเรา). Perth’s performance of the song feels incredibly sincere and emotional, and you can genuinely feel the authenticity in the way he sings it.

What makes Love You Teacher stand out is how much it tries to talk about within only ten episodes. Beyond Solar’s condition, the series explores adult friendships, difficult family expectations, emotional insecurity, teacher burnout, children dealing with pressure, and the painful reality of constantly being compared to others. Pobmek’s struggles especially felt relatable because many people grow up feeling pressured to meet expectations that were never truly their own.

At times, the drama probably tries to cover too many themes too quickly, and some conflicts get resolved faster than they realistically should. Still, I appreciated that the series was willing to have these conversations at all. Even with its flaws, the emotional sincerity behind everything remains strong.

I also loved the small finale appearances from Keen Suwijak Piyanopharoj as Thara and Sea Dechchart Tasilp as Wayo as intern teachers. It was a fun little surprise for viewers.

Overall, Love You Teacher is emotional, heartfelt, visually polished, and incredibly bingeable. It is the kind of series that quietly pulls you into its world until you suddenly realise how attached you have become to the characters. The premise may require some suspension of disbelief, but the warmth, performances, and emotional honesty make it worth the ride. For me, this easily became one of the best and most memorable Thai BL dramas of 2026.

Episode 1 was calm before the storm

Love You Teacher starts off soft, warm, and almost comforting but there’s this quiet feeling that something deeper is coming.
The introduction to the characters feels natural and easy to connect with. The chemistry is there right from the start, not forced, just simple and genuine. You can already see their bond and relationship dynamic in small moments, and that’s what makes it feel real.
What stood out to me the most is how peaceful everything feel like the story is letting you breathe before it takes that away. There’s a sense of innocence and normalcy that makes you attached quickly, which honestly makes me a little scared for what’s coming next.
If this is just the beginning, then this series is definitely building up to something emotional. And I can already tell, it’s going to hurt.

FINALLY PERTHSANTA!!!

I am absolutely loving this series so far! PerthSanta are one of my favorite couples, and they are perfect for these characters. The story feels intense but also has those soft, fun moments that I adore in BLs. It feels like such a fresh, new story, and I’m already loving the plot—I can totally see this becoming a very soft and "comfort" series for all of us even though we’ll definitely all be crying later, but that’s part of the journey. I’m so impressed because even the first episode was engaging, which is rare!! I’m also so happy for them. Honestly, I’ve never seen Perth look as happy as he is with Santa, and the same goes for Santa. They are the cutest together and they don’t deserve any of the hate they’ve received in the past.
I truly hope that with this series, they finally get the success and recognition they deserve. Please, never separate Perth and his Tata! I’ll always support them and every project they do because, honestly, this is peak television. In fact, I think that even if they were to act in a boring series, I would still watch it and never get bored simply because they are in it together. I can't wait for the next episodes! 🖤🤍

It's a story that will surely touch million of hearts with it's lesson and depth

I usually don't cry over a series nor get interested in an ongoing series but with Love You Teacher Series, it caught my attention not just because I am a fan of the actors but because it is the first time that there is a series ( a BL one) that tackles about mental health. As someone who struggling with my mental health, this means so much to me and I would love to recommend this series to everyone because it does not only talks about romantic relationship but it talks about friendship, family and the relationship we have with ourself. I pray for this series to go big and reach millions of audience as this will surely open more our society about the importance of understanding about the struggle with mental health.

GMMTV SERIES OF THE YEAR!!

The series is very well crafted, with a richly detailed setting created by the author and director Dome. It portrays the love between the characters, their traumas, and how they overcome them together with their friends. It also addresses important themes such as age regression and postpartum depression.

For those who, like me, enjoy something more emotional that highlights love and the overcoming of personal struggles, it’s a great series—you won’t be disappointed.

It’s a shame it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves!

Love you teacher is one of the series I've been waiting for because it depicts an event in the life of mental health. Issue and how will pobmek strengthen himself with what is happening to solar and how aware of what is happening in real life I also raised a special child, it's hard to take care of them, especially when they're being abused. There's a chance they'll hurt you. Sometimes I cry at night when I'm having a hard time, but I tell myself I can do it, not because I need to be cared for, but because we love them and we will take care of them.

don’t let the plot deter you!

i originally didn’t want to watch because i don’t like age regression, and i didn’t know what to expect. however, it wasn’t weird or fetishy like i feared. the story was really touching and the performances from everyone was strong and captivating. by the end, i was attached to the characters and i’ll miss them!

personally, i think the show is better for weekly viewing rather than a binge, but i would recommend the show to anyone who likes touching and emotional dramas with comedy sprinkled in.
