More Touching Than Funny
This series started out in the traditional sense of most Thai BLs. Initially, I almost thought it was a spoof on Thai BLs because it seemed like the characters were more like parodies than representatives of real people. However, as I got into this series, I found it to be intriguing and fascinating, maybe unintentionally? While most perhaps found this series humorous with tongue-in-cheek situations, as it is billed as a ‘comedy’. However, I found it utterly sad and melancholic. It represents one of the dolefulest stories I have watched in a very long time. Admittedly, I cried more than laughed through most of this telling. Honestly, this series could have been an early contender for Top Ten for 2026 honors, but as usual it took the low road to simply making it cute rather than completing the story behind the story. ALL four of the protagonists are astonishingly sad characters whose lives have not been destined by their actions but by the antics of others. This was not a comedy but a serious study of very sad, stunted young men who miraculously found love with each couple, meriting all the happiness that a fairytale ending should give them. They deserve one. Their lives have not been necessarily easy ones. More importantly, they seemingly understand that but are willing to give back to society tenfold more than society gave them. Was this review helpful to you?
I want more!
Such a cutie series this is.. this series to me felt like that comfort food you eat after a long day of work.. it was cute, light and just so cozyI love the whole cast, such a sweet energetic, young cast.. they brought out the best
Talking about the lead, THEE is the biggest cheeseball but it felt so cute to watch him.. peach described him the best, he is a golden retriever like HE IS like that and I learned he is like that even irl
And peach was just the person u need to handle the golden retriever, a calm, mature and someone who can ground the puppy.. their chemistry was good.. as a millennial, I squealed under my blanket like a school girl so …
And I need to watch the supporting character’s main lead dramas now coz I loved them.. williamest, perthsanta, I was already into them with their edits and all. And now I’m even more invested so I’m watching ur dramas next..
Overall, it was FUN to watch..

Fluff over Substance, again.
The characters experienced zero growth. Thee stayed the same, as out of touch as ever only now he’s also obsessed with Peach on top of that. Same with Peach, he started as the good samaritan guy, stayed the same, no changes. The only change is that he married Thee at the end, that’s it.Their relationship was strange. Dynamic felt more like a parent child dynamic. Thee was so out of touch with everything that he needed Peach to explain to him the most basic concepts like saying thank you, apologizing, having manners etc etc. and that’s what usually parents teach their young children. Thee would do or say something outrageous and Peach would patiently and slowly explain in almost childlike, simple terms why the things Thee said or did were not ok. It’s not just the fact that he told Thee what was technically not ok or weird but specifically the way he explained it. Like a parent to a child, which made their dynamic at times a little uncomfortable to watch.
Humor, while I did enjoy it at first, wasn’t absurd enough to carry the whole show for me. The first couple episodes were fine but then the humor started disappearing more and more, being replaced with fluff, a touch of melancholy and audiences’ wish fulfillment. The main reason I decided to watch this show was bc of the viral and funny clips of Thee and I thought there would be more considering the show is 10 episodes long but alas, there wasn’t more. The best funny parts are all there to find as YouTube shorts. Just watch them instead If you’re thinking of starting the show mainly bc of the comedy.
Peach as an audience-insert.
Yeah, Peach was the bland straight guy (in comedic terms). He was the typical good guy with no interesting personally traits. His main function was to explain to Thee why his outbursts were wrong and also act as the audience self-insert. He’s the one Thee lives for, dotes on, buys things for and basically is ready to do everything for him. Peach though, is a strong, independent ̶w̶o̶m̶a̶n̶ so he doesn’t need all of Thee’s gifts bc he’s self- sufficient being the most sought after photographer in the country no less. But it’s still nice to feel doted on regardless, right? Thee is doting on the audience, not Peach. Peach is a mere vessel for said audience.
These types of audience self-inserts aren’t rare in the romance genre. Being a millennial I remember the hype Fifty Shades of Grey garnered as well as Twilight and those two were the epitome of reader/audience self-insert. Well, nothing has changed in the trends over the years it seems bc Me and The reflects the same idea and garners the same popularity.
The glamorization of money and wealth is nothing new in Thai BL but in this case it really rubbed me the wrong way. I’m not against wealthy characters or mafia love interests but in here it felt so gratuitous and tone deaf. Thee’s completely unlimited source of money, him buying unnecessary things, wasting said money on stupidity like paying for all sizes of engagement rings bc he couldn’t find out the right size of Peach’s finger. I know that it’s supposed to be funny and probably not to be taken too seriously but the overall humor isn’t continuous or absurd enough to ignore this glamorization of pure wastefulness. If the whole show (or at least most of it) was absurd comedy I wouldn’t have said a thing but it’s clearly not the case here so the tone-deaf constant flaunting of wealth stands out like a sore thumb.
The whole Aran/Tawan situation was stupid. Not even incomprehensible just stupid. They were an on and off couple that had their problems (never explained the depth or exact nature of those problems) and after Aran refused several times to get back together with Tawan he sure as hell still ran back to him tail wagging the moment Tawan got into a problem (of his own making). Then they hugged and everything was fine lol. No depth, no character development, just unnecessary superficial fluff.
Mhok and Rome were the only ones I was somewhat interested in but they clearly didn’t get enough screentime for anything really. You can barely call them a side couple with how little screentime they got (same with Aran and Tawan btw).

REALLY strong start but didn’t keep Momentum!
so I’m sad to say I am a little disappointed with how the show ended up turning out to be. I feel there were great bones to the storyline and I feel like the time wasn’t used well to flesh out these parts.something the show brought that we never see again is Peach’s trauma with his father that is something we start to see but not again.
the proposed danger that Thee is in but there is never any real threat.
I also fear the worst offense was how they utilized their side characters, perthsanta storyline could have been so perfect if they left it at episode 8 broken up but to continue into ep 9 with Aran doing a complete unprompted switch to save Tawan after the fight was odd considering there was no apology or change of actions to show Aran that tawan was better or changed so it felt thrown in there to just give them an ending and GMMTV needs to let characters break up and not be end game it’s okay I’m sure most ppl would of appreciated the realism of moving on from a toxic relationship. they could of had tawan try to make amends with peach and thee on his own once he lost everything and peach could have then forgiven him and tell thee to chill which leads to a possible make up with Aran but they just gave it to tawan without any work.
Mok and Rome feel like it could be a spin off maybe but also if that’s the end of the story we see it also was a under utilization of characters that could of brought a lot to the plot.
I think part of why the story lost momentum was that there weren’t any growth steps like yes that one director who had a issue with peach was a good step but that was resolved in one episode and after that we don’t really see any other issues of note for the couple so it goes a bit downhill considering we don’t get much mafia things actually happening.
still love Pond Phuwin but I can’t say this is a favorite from them but visually this is the best they have ever looked aging like fine wine whole cast is visuals! I think if there was a deeper care to writing a well fleshed out story for them it could have been a 10 but it’s good for laughs

Sweetly exaggerated, and beautifully romantic.
A drama that hardly needs any comments.Fun, spontaneous, simple, sweetly exaggerated, and beautifully romantic.
I loved the characters, the way the story was built, the cast’s performances, as well as the script and direction.
It is made for those who are looking for pure enjoyment in a BL story that is, at the very least, truly distinctive.
I wholeheartedly recommend it.
I loved it.

Goofy Love Story
Man I wish this drama was longer!! I loved every second, every episode of this drama. I thought it was going to be more of a serious drama with the whole mafia family aspect but it truly was just a goofy love story and I loved it just as much.PondPhuwin does it again! Their chemistry is unmatched, I swear with every new drama they just keep getting better and better. The yearning in this was so good, I loved just how in LOVE with Peach Thee was it was so perfect. The way they balanced each other so perfectly was *chefs kiss* Peach continuously bringing Kian back down to earth and Thee providing that safety and security Peach always needed was soooo good.
Side couple time, I am biased as the biggest PerthSanta fan that the fact that they were in this drama just added points for me, and of course WilliamEst kills it again!! Both side pairings already have so much chemistry it was just the perfect casting. I do however wish that both couples got more screen time cause we never really got to fully delve into their stories and relationships. All the more reason to hope for a second season.
This drama had be giggling and straight up laughing out loud every episode. They are all so cute but like Pond is so funny in this, the fact that everyone said that he just plays himself I just love that so much cause Kian was just so sweet I literally made only 1 note while watching and it was "I love Pond so much and his goofy, dorky smitteness like ughhhh Khun Thee GREEN Flag"
I love that this truly was just like a fun fluffy love story, there wasn't any major conflicts, I wasn't stressed through episodes waiting for them to resolve. Just so so good I will definitely be rewatching!

Rich, Cringe, and Charming
Me and Thee is one of those projects where I can confidently say I liked it as a whole, even if it knew exactly what kind of chaos it wanted to be. It is the perfect mix of too much and a little too much, wrapped into one very self aware package.Cringe? Yes.
Funny? Definitely.
Lovable? Somehow, yes.
Rich? Extremely.
To be fair, the only PondPhuwin project I have watched before this was We Are, so most of my comparisons naturally come from there. And compared to that, Me and Thee feels lighter, louder, and far less serious. The plot itself is nothing new. Pond’s character is rich in money, Phuwin’s character is rich in love, mainly coming from his sister. You already know the dynamic going in, and surprisingly, you do not really mind it as the episodes go by.
The only thing that really made me roll my eyes was the mafia angle. Once again, a “rich family with mafia ties” storyline was introduced and handled in the most predictable way possible. If they truly want to push that kind of backstory, then they really need to study how it is done properly. At this point, the mafia element felt more like decoration than an actual threat or narrative driver.
That said, Pond looked like he genuinely enjoyed this project. He felt more relaxed here than in We Are, more smiley, more playful, and that energy carried through the screen. His reactions whenever Phuwin goes full lovey dovey were genuinely funny, and I can see why viewers gravitated toward that. Phuwin, on the other hand, remains a solid actor. He has consistently strong moments, and his chemistry with Pond is undeniably natural. They balance each other well, and that chemistry is one of the drama’s strongest points.
If you break the drama down to its core, it is about a rich, awkward, slightly cringey businessman who believes money can move mountains (which I think Khun Thee does, because he tried to move Peach's house, pun intended), yes Khun Thee really does live up to his name, falling for a photographer fresh out of a breakup. And honestly, that concept alone already ticks most of the boxes. That is the show. Everything else feels secondary.
However, I do think the production company still struggles with writing something that is both entertaining and cohesive. This is not a new issue, and you can see traces of it in their previous projects as well. The ideas are there, but the execution often feels messy.
WilliamEst deserves a mention too. They were fun to watch, and it was refreshing to see a different side of Est after ThamePo. William’s yearning expressions alone could convince anyone, so it is no surprise Mok gave in. Performance wise, they were good, with moments that really stood out, similar to Phuwin.
At its heart, Me and Thee is a comedic disaster in the best way possible. You laugh at Khun Thee owning GMMTheeV. You laugh at his innocence, his stupidity at times, and how ridiculously lovesick he becomes. You laugh simply because he exists. That is what carried the drama. Everything else followed after.
This is another GMMTV drama that people will either find entertaining, just okay, or completely unwatchable. I fall into the entertained category. It is not perfect, and seriously, stop adding mafia plots if you are not going to commit to them. But the fluff and the cringe overshadow most of its flaws. Still, I hope future projects give PondPhuwin more substance because they are good actors who deserve better material. Underutilized, yes, but in this case, I was entertained.

Review: "Me and Thee" – A Balance of Emotion and Untapped Potential
I don’t claim to be a professional TV critic, but after finishing "Me and Thee", I felt compelled to share my thoughts on this Thai series, which left me with a mix of admiration and a few "what ifs."Overall, the series is truly beautiful. The first round of applause must go to the cast: Pond and Phuwin have shown incredible artistic growth. Their ability to fully embody their characters made every emotion feel tangible. In particular, Phuwin’s portrayal of Peach’s past was so poignant that it moved me to tears on several occasions.
The narrative pacing was also a pleasant surprise. The story doesn’t feel rushed; it allows events the necessary time to unfold naturally, which is not always a given in these productions. Furthermore, the comedic touch brought by Thee (Pond) is a breath of fresh air, keeping the plot from feeling monotonous or repetitive.
Despite its strengths, I can’t give the series a top-tier rating for a few reasons. While the potential was enormous, the execution of the story felt a bit thin in places. I would have appreciated:
• A deeper dive into the psychology of certain characters.
• More plot twists to heighten the stakes.
• A few more episodes to allow the subplots to breathe.
Because of this, my attention often shifted toward the secondary couples. I found myself wanting more of their storyline, and I’m hopeful that they might get more screen time in potential special episodes.
In conclusion, "Me and Thee" is definitely worth a watch, especially for the incredible performances of the leads. I certainly recommend it, but with a word of advice: go in without overly high expectations regarding the complexity of the plot, and simply enjoy the emotional journey.
Rating: 7.5 / 10

silly, impropable and deliously sublime at times
I am a fan of Pond and Phuwin. But wasn't prepared for Pond going out on a limb like this! He is delightful and handles the over the top comedy quite well. They just click no matter what the material (and this is pretty darn good, with some minor glitches) and there is an ease now between them and the camera. I didn't know I needed a fairy tale like this, but it sure made the world a less darker place.Yes, side characters are given short shrift, especially when they are using BL actors of such calibre. The Mafia thing is a red herring and nothing really bad ever happens...even the Mafia father is....well no need to spoil that plot line.
So enjoy the sweet ride and binge on a weekend. I did as the snow was swirling outside my window but it was warm and happy in my home. Think its time to go back and rewatch NEVER LET ME GO, again!

it’s a good cheesy romcom!
i went into this expecting it to be silly and fun and i wasn’t disappointed. i thought pond did a good job playing the eccentric and over the top thee; which is so different to what we’ve seen from him before! and i adored phuwin as peach, but that goes without saying. he’s great. the main thing that i loved was rome and mok, it was great to see william and est in new roles! they’re so good at the whole yearning thing! overall a good series! enjoyable if you don’t take it too seriously! 🌟🌟🌟🌟Was this review helpful to you?

Lovable, Funny, and Enjoyable series.
Out of all PondPhuwin series I watched, I would definitely say this is the most rewatchable one. Its a light, funny, and easily digestible series with overall fun characters. Khun Thee was the highlight of the series for me, anything he said really put a smile on my face. He was so set on Peach right at the start and was such a sucker for him. Which I loved lol. Peaches character was totally different than Khun Thee. He was just a regular introverted guy and very down to earth. The magic happens when both dynamics are put together and... damn. I didn't know i would like TheePeach so much. I've never been that big of a fan when it came to PondPhuwin chemistry, but for this series and its characters it worked out.WilliamEst and PerthSanta also are apart of this series and if anyone knows, these two couples always serve. Even though I have some problems with how one of the plots are implemented.
First of all, WilliamEst was a treat for me in this series.
- Est's character, Mok, is Khun Thee's bodyguard, so he's prevalent in many parts of the TheePeach story.
- Williams character, Rome, is khun Thees little brother who came to visit and has a massive crush/obession over the bodyguard.
They were cute and playful (mostly Rome) when it came to their scenes, so i liked what they gave us for them. Kinda sad they didnt show us more of them lmao.
Now for PerthSanta..... They are really the only problem i have with this series story wise. Don't get me wrong, PerthSanta is literally my favorite couple under GMMTV, but you cannot sit there and tell me they weren't used for face for this series.
-Santa's character, Aran , is a model ambassador for Khun Thee's perfume company and the main reason why Peach and Thee met in the earlier episodes.
- Perth's character, Tawan, is a popular actor and is in a talking stage with Aran.
I love Perth when he plays red flags, but the way the story executed TawanAran and how they CHANGED their story makes no sense. All there scenes include no character development of Tawan, until the very last scene when he magically changes and manipulates Aran to take him back because he lost everything..... And Aran forgave him???????? It just pissed me off. I have no idea why GMMTV are so scared to let these actors act anything but happy endings. If they stuck to the original ending for them it would make it 10x better than what they did. The only thing that saved TawanAran was Perth and Santa's acting, which is always top notch. I didn't expect much of them because they are only supporting roles, but you cant just throw in popular faces with a dumb lazy sub-plot and expect people to not notice or get annoyed lmao. Guess I have to wait for "Love You, Teacher" for some good PerthSanta plot.

Thee comedic festival no phuwin intended!!?
I waited to watch this till it had finished airing as I just could not get into into when it started. Honestly I was enthralled by other shows that has stronger storyline and chemistry.Having watched this I will say this is a comedic gem carried by Pond. He embodies Thee so well. I was not shocked that somehow Phuwin appears to be the same character in all the shows he is in including this one. I don’t see much difference between him in never let me go, we are and this one same character. I think he may need to stretch his acting or he is in danger of being type casted.
That said it does not detract from the overall show itself. Will and Est that was nice side couple story. Santa and Perth storyline was not even necessary. It did nothing for the actual show!
I am not going to go to much details but just to say if you are looking for some lol moments, fluffy romance and questionable plot holes you have come to the right place.
Would I rewatch this probably not, maybe certain episodes.
