Me and Thee: Fiction Within Fiction or Pure Reality?
To be honest, I had my doubts before starting this one. I felt that GMMTV productions, and specifically PondPhuwin projects, were becoming a bit monotonous, relying more on the actor´s real-life popularity than on the quality of the scripts. However, this series turned out to be a refreshing surprise that finally breaks that streak. The PondPhuwin Dynamic: Sweetness vs. Reserve
As a devoted fan of this pair, it’s impossible not to notice their contrasting styles:
Pond (Thee): He is truly in his element here. The role of a mafia boss who is secretly obsessed with lakorns fits his acting range perfectly. Pond is incredibly tender when showing love; he has that specific gaze that makes you believe he is genuinely head-over-heels.
Phuwin (Peach): While he feels much more connected to his character than in previous works, I still feel that in moments of intimacy or physical contact, he comes across as a bit forced or stiff. It’s something we fans have come to accept as part of his style, but the contrast with Pond’s natural, sweet delivery is evident.
What Works (and What Doesn't)
The series is witty and genuinely funny. The premise of a mafia boss falling for a humble photographer through the lens of cinema is brilliant. The humor is well-timed, and Peach’s flat, logical responses are the perfect foil for Thee’s quirky antics. Furthermore, Est and William (Mok and Rome) add an interesting layer to the story; their ending felt like a fun snippet of their real-life interactions.
However, it’s not without its flaws:
Perth and Santa (Ran and Tawan): I feel they got a raw deal. Their plot involving toxic jealousy masked as love was resolved in a rushed, almost asinine way by episode nine. Despite this, Santa delivered a very sincere emotional performance, and Perth proved once again that he is a powerhouse actor, though it’s definitely time for him to move away from the "sullen, angry boyfriend" roles.
Final Verdict
The ending of the series is, quite simply, perfect. Those few seconds after "The End" tie the entire concept together, framing the production as the actual love story of Peach and Thee.
Despite the pacing issues in the subplots and that slight rigidity from Phuwin that we’ve grown used to, the series achieves what many others fail to do: it feels authentic, hilarious, and mature all at once.

The Comedy That Knew Itself
Me & Thee is the kind of drama that makes you smile like an idiot on the screen. It is not trying to be anything grand or deep, it is pure, warm, fluffy comedy and that honesty is exactly what makes it a fresh breath of air. What gives the show its charm is how cleverly it builds its comedy and it starts with a simple but smart piece of character writing. Thee grew up watching his mother, a soap opera actress, in lakorn reruns. So when he speaks in grand declarations and dramatic flourishes, it never feels random or forced. It feels inevitable. This is a man who learned what love looks like from soap operas and that makes his every word and action more believable because for him this is how you express your love. He means every word sincerely. That sincerity is what saves the comedy from feeling cheap. Rather than playing its melodramatic dialogue straight, the writers let the characters mock it themselves, as if winking at the audience on their behalf. It is a meta move that could easily fall flat but it works beautifully, because of the three-way dynamic the show builds around it. Pond delivers Thee's most absurd lines with such ease and naturalness that the comedy never feels constructed. Est, playing Thee's secretary, responds to Thee's puppy love moments with facial expressions alone, his reactions capturing exactly the secondhand cringe the audience feels watching Thee turn soft. Peach takes a different role, verbally calling out Thee's lakorn-style dramatic dialogue, telling him plainly to get it together, giving the show's theatrical excess an in-universe critique. Together these three create a comedic system with two distinct frequencies, and the show rides both with confidence.
It is when we look closer at the characters that the cracks begin to show. Peach as the other half of the central romance is where the show stumbles most and what makes it frustrating is how much potential he carries. His backstory is quietly devastating: an abusive childhood, a sister he had to raise alone, a boy who was forced to grow up before he ever got to simply be a child. There is one moment in the hospital where Peach tells Thee that he makes him feel like a child again and in that single line the show reveals everything it could have been. A man that guarded, learning to rely on someone for the first time, is a romance worth watching. But the writers never return to it. His past is hinted at and abandoned, and the actor struggles to fill the silence the writing leaves behind. What Peach needed was not more screen time — he needed the writers to trust the story they had already started telling. A single moment of jealousy, possessiveness, or visible longing would have made his love for Thee feel earned. Without it the romance leans entirely on Thee's shoulders and never quite balances.
The mafia backstory woven into Thee's family history has the same problem: it is all suggestion and no substance. In a light comedy this does not ruin anything, but it is a missed opportunity. A character as charming as Thee deserved a past that added genuine depth rather than just a label others fear.
Despite these gaps, Me & Thee earns a solid 8 out of 10. It is fresh, it is warm, and it has two performances that take the show further than the writing alone deserves. Watch it when you need something light that makes you feel good and smile like crazy. It delivers exactly that, and sometimes that is enough.

Lovable, Funny, and Enjoyable series.
Out of all PondPhuwin series I watched, I would definitely say this is the most rewatchable one. Its a light, funny, and easily digestible series with overall fun characters. Khun Thee was the highlight of the series for me, anything he said really put a smile on my face. He was so set on Peach right at the start and was such a sucker for him. Which I loved lol. Peaches character was totally different than Khun Thee. He was just a regular introverted guy and very down to earth. The magic happens when both dynamics are put together and... damn. I didn't know i would like TheePeach so much. I've never been that big of a fan when it came to PondPhuwin chemistry, but for this series and its characters it worked out.WilliamEst and PerthSanta also are apart of this series and if anyone knows, these two couples always serve. Even though I have some problems with how one of the plots are implemented.
First of all, WilliamEst was a treat for me in this series.
- Est's character, Mok, is Khun Thee's bodyguard, so he's prevalent in many parts of the TheePeach story.
- Williams character, Rome, is khun Thees little brother who came to visit and has a massive crush/obession over the bodyguard.
They were cute and playful (mostly Rome) when it came to their scenes, so i liked what they gave us for them. Kinda sad they didnt show us more of them lmao.
Now for PerthSanta..... They are really the only problem i have with this series story wise. Don't get me wrong, PerthSanta is literally my favorite couple under GMMTV, but you cannot sit there and tell me they weren't used for face for this series.
-Santa's character, Aran , is a model ambassador for Khun Thee's perfume company and the main reason why Peach and Thee met in the earlier episodes.
- Perth's character, Tawan, is a popular actor and is in a talking stage with Aran.
I love Perth when he plays red flags, but the way the story executed TawanAran and how they CHANGED their story makes no sense. All there scenes include no character development of Tawan, until the very last scene when he magically changes and manipulates Aran to take him back because he lost everything..... And Aran forgave him???????? It just pissed me off. I have no idea why GMMTV are so scared to let these actors act anything but happy endings. If they stuck to the original ending for them it would make it 10x better than what they did. The only thing that saved TawanAran was Perth and Santa's acting, which is always top notch. I didn't expect much of them because they are only supporting roles, but you cant just throw in popular faces with a dumb lazy sub-plot and expect people to not notice or get annoyed lmao. Guess I have to wait for "Love You, Teacher" for some good PerthSanta plot.

Thee comedic festival no phuwin intended!!?
I waited to watch this till it had finished airing as I just could not get into into when it started. Honestly I was enthralled by other shows that has stronger storyline and chemistry.Having watched this I will say this is a comedic gem carried by Pond. He embodies Thee so well. I was not shocked that somehow Phuwin appears to be the same character in all the shows he is in including this one. I don’t see much difference between him in never let me go, we are and this one same character. I think he may need to stretch his acting or he is in danger of being type casted.
That said it does not detract from the overall show itself. Will and Est that was nice side couple story. Santa and Perth storyline was not even necessary. It did nothing for the actual show!
I am not going to go to much details but just to say if you are looking for some lol moments, fluffy romance and questionable plot holes you have come to the right place.
Would I rewatch this probably not, maybe certain episodes.

This show was hilarious and made me laugh more than any show in a WHILE. Loved PondPhuwin and could see they both have improved a lot. Honestly can't wait to see what they have to offer us next. However, at some parts the acting felt stiff and not natural at all. I understand Lookpeach is not very affectionate and can be a bit awkward, which was very well portrayed, but still it left me wishing for more. I loved that there wasn't any unnecessary drama in the show, it felt very refreshing for sure.
I was waiting so much from the last episode and I did love it, but it felt like something was missing and maybe it was a bit rushed.. Meaning I need there to be more episodes 😂
I also wanted to see more WilliamEst, but I understand this is not about them. Maybe one day they'll get their own show as Mok and Rome..
I will definitely miss this show as it has brought me so much joy and so many memes to make me laugh 😂. Can't wait to see what GMM THEE V will have to offer next 😉

Something Different - Watch, Watch, Watch!!!
I went into this drama with zero expectations, but it completely won me over. I hadn’t seen this pairing in a while, and now they’ve become one of my favorite ships. Thee was such an endearing character—fierce yet incredibly naive. I felt every bit of his pain as he grew, and his emotional journey really stayed with me. Peach, on the other hand, felt like the anchor and glue holding everything together—while still battling his own inner demons. Their chemistry was undeniable, and I appreciated how their relationship was portrayed with just the right amount of lovin without being overdone. Thee will always have a special place in my heart, and honestly, I can’t imagine a better partner for him than Peach. Can’t wait to see more of PondPhuwin! Was this review helpful to you?

The good things: 1. amazing production throughout the series which means a lot of budget (understandable since PPW the most popular BL CP and they got a lot of sponsors); 2. Pond's acting is convincing enough to do this kinda goofy character; 3. Sometimes funny: 4. Pond with those contacs look ridicolous af (and I hate veneers on all BL actors yes that include Santa too)The bad: 1. I fell like there is no chemistry between the two, as much as I hate We Are the series, PPW chemistry and chasing arc feel authentic and believable... in this one, I don't think Peach like Khun Thee at all (there is no justification to why Peach like Thee because Phuwin doesn't make the acting look believable and also because of the story and pacing); 2. The music is a no; 3. Same as always, Phuwin give us his iconic homophobic kiss and uncomfortable weird hug during NC Scene (his dedication to this kinda iconic tbh hsksksk); 4. The supporting cast doesn't bring anyhing to the table at all (I even forgot PerthSanta is here lmaoo)
Overall, not impressed and I don't care although WilliamEst in here it's still not enjoyable

Theerakit Kian Lee, you’re legendary!
Oh I loved this 😭 One of the things I enjoyed the most is how easily likeable and also different both male leads are. Peach is one of the most realistic characters I’ve ever seen, he’s so down to earth. He doesn’t have any big dreams but he’s not looking for anything different. He’s very altruistic and empathic and I enjoyed how patient he was towards Thee. His reactions towards Thee’s cringe actions and phrases was sooo on point too.Thee, on the other hand, is sooo unserious and his scenes, intentionally, becomes the target of jokes by the script itself. I loved this! He's not supposed to be taken seriously. I think he and Peach made a great balance too because we have completely different characters that learned and accepted each other’s differences. I must say that between both, Thee was my favorite tho. He’s exactly my type of character. A mafia guy who is a lover boy and enjoys watching romantic soap operas? How can I NOT love him? He was also sooooo dramatic, funny, sensitive and treated Peach like he was everything in his life. Definitely one of my favorite characters recently.
The main story is nothing WOW but weirdly for me it was enough. I think Thee and Peach are such good characters that them can completely carry a story. Their chemistry was also good for me! Some might not like PondPhuwin duo but they work for me! WilliamEst couple was also so good ugh too bad that they only had a few scenes. PerthSanta couple was a bit whatever for me, ngl. But great acting for both!
In general it was a really pleasant BL! If you’re looking for something easy to watch and with good characters, I’d definitely recommend this one! I can completely understand why this one was a hit last year.

this is not the type of drama I usually enjoy watching. but I decided to give it a shot right after finishing ThamePo, mainly because i wanted to see more of WilliamEst.
(I’m very new to Thai BL, only started watching a few days ago!)
I also wanted to see Perth and Santa, as I’ve known of them since before i knew anything about Thai BLs. so i wanted to see what they're actually like. even though this drama doesn't have much of them.
I’m not a fan of over the top borderline cringe kinda comedy. which, tbh, me and thee is😂 the first episode was kind of unbearable, not gonna lie. the stupid sound effects made me cringe so hard, I almost wanted to drop the drama then and there 😭 but i decided to watch at least one more episode and give it a real chance.
slowly i was somehow dragged into the world of Khun Thee😂 somehow they left me entertained, and i ended up laughing out loud a few times at the utter ridiculousness everything 😂

One of "The Best"
Yeah! I didnt expect this from pond as Khun Thee as compared to other series he casted this will be my topmost favo role of his. I didnt see the trailer yet i doesnt had any expectation on this series as this is one of gmm's series.....😅. But this is way different in compared to all those series of channel (expect last twilight❤️). Coming to the story i didnt feel like Thee's way of his story it could have more clarity and pond way of acting funnier its really wow to watch . first of 2-3epds i didnt expect this much and followed by it became yes can continue watching this. And to phuwin he can have some expression yeah its stubborn character he can have some affectionate kind of things. Even though this pair dont do fan service they can use in here i didnt tell it doesnt can be some more been placed. This phuwin guy acting as mature one in past few series i hope he can be some enjoyable as like as phuwin.I have watched till the last epds yeah they had some sweet movements but the story is too rushed as of their parents decision and kind of stuff and fianlly they got married with 2 kiddos and owning gmmtheev from p'tha🤣🤣, and romemohks' story these guys still deserve some screentime. As of other actors lookplub,jj,perthsanta, dew had thier roles done beautifully. And waiting for the finall spl epds looking forward. And Pls morkrome could have spl epds or series of continuations....Was this review helpful to you?
