I love this series it was very good and GeminiFourth always so good. The story, plot, characters, ost especially sooo good, etc. 💯/10I predicted that Kongdech would be the one to became priest of not Tanrak 😭😔 it turned out to ne true 😢💔
I could have liked a sad ending where Tanrak chose to be a priest and forgets about Barth but they always like good ending that bitter sad ending ones...
Special mention I really loved the ost so catchy specially the intro or opening song sooo goood the choir versio chills and the duo of Tanrak and Barth singing omgosh heaven sent like HEAVENLY 😇

Compassion, Faith, and Love— Perfectly told.
It's so rare to find a story that leaves nothing but gratitude when it ends, a story told with so much sincerity that every moment felt real. Living in a predominantly Catholic country, it resonated with me in a way I've never expected, did not ask to choose between faith and love.Instead, it invited reflection on compassion, humanity, and the kind of love that understands before it judges. Most BL series leave me hoping for another season, but this one left me with peace. It felt complete, exactly as it was meant to be. maybe some stories are not meant to be longer they're just simply meant to be remembered 🥹. I honestly didn't expect the series to end the way it did. I had a completely different ending in my head, so what a surprise! 😭They did such a great job with this series, especially considering that it's set in Thailand in 1996. The setting and time period made the story even more interesting. 🤍✨

A Ticket Well Spent
By the final episode, Ticket to Heaven doesn't so much wrap up as it settles — quietly, gently, like the last candle going out after evensong. Tanrak and Barth's journey from wary strangers to something far deeper never loses sight of what the series was really banging on about: that faith and love aren't natural enemies, whatever the seminary walls might suggest.The ending doesn't dodge the hard stuff either. Both lads have paid a price to get here — Barth with his broken family, Tanrak with his crisis of conscience — and the show has the good sense not to paper over that with a tidy bow. Instead, it offers something a bit more honest: the sense that they've earned their peace, rather than simply been handed it.
For a six-episode run, it punches well above its weight. It's not perfect — a longer series might've let a few of the quieter moments breathe a touch more — but as a piece of storytelling about first love, faith, and finding your own version of heaven, it lands its ending with real conviction. A proper lump-in-the-throat finish, and no mistake.

A Quiet, Devastating, Beautiful Story About Love, Faith, and Choosing Your Own Life
I almost dropped Ticket to Heaven after the first episode.That would have been a terrible mistake.
By episode two, I was completely absorbed, and by the end I considered this one of the most extraordinary dramas I have watched.
The premise sounds simple enough: Tanrak is a deeply religious scholarship student at a Catholic school who has spent most of his life believing that becoming a priest is his path. After losing his parents young, his faith and his future vocation have become deeply connected to his hope of someday reuniting with them in heaven. Then Barth arrives.
What follows is not simply a story about a religious boy realizing he is attracted to another boy. Ticket to Heaven explores faith, grief, sexuality, abuse, family expectations, vocation, guilt, identity, and the frightening question of whether the life you have always planned is actually the life you would have chosen for yourself.
The writing is remarkably restrained. Some of the best scenes involve almost nothing happening externally. Two characters can simply stand near one another, and the emotional tension is overwhelming. The series trusts the actors, the camera, silence, and small physical choices instead of constantly explaining what the characters are feeling.
And that brings me to Fourth Nattawat.
His performance as Tanrak is exceptional.
So much of Tanrak’s conflict happens internally, and Fourth communicates it through his eyes, posture, hesitation, stillness, and tiny shifts in expression. There are scenes where Tanrak barely speaks, yet you can see desire, fear, jealousy, guilt, confusion, longing, and love moving across his face. He never needs to announce what Tanrak is feeling because you already know.
Gemini Norawit is also excellent as Barth. Barth is more emotionally direct than Tanrak, but he is carrying his own complicated history with religion, family, violence, and rejection. Gemini gives him warmth without making him uncomplicated, and his chemistry with Fourth is extraordinary.
And I do mean chemistry—not merely convincing kissing scenes.
Some of the most emotionally charged moments happen before they ever touch. A look across a room can carry more intensity than an entire NC scene in another drama. Their relationship feels intimate because we watch it grow through attention, vulnerability, private jokes, jealousy, fear, and the gradual realization that each has become central to the other’s life.
The religious themes are also handled with far more nuance than I expected.
The story does not simply frame religion as bad and romantic love as good. Different characters sincerely choose different paths. Some continue toward priesthood. Others question it. Some remain people of faith while living lives that do not fit the narrow expectations they were given. The deeper question becomes whether faith must require denying yourself—or whether love of God and love of self can coexist.
That complexity is one of the strongest things about the series.
Barth’s own relationship with religion adds another layer. His disbelief is not casual rebellion. It comes from lived experience and unanswered prayer, and his perspective forces Tanrak to reconsider some of the moral assumptions he has never previously had reason to question.
The supporting characters matter too. Father Arnon, Master Phak, Kongdech, and others are not simply obstacles or mouthpieces. Each represents a different relationship to belief, obligation, doubt, and choice.
The finale is unusually long, but in this case I did not mind. It gives the story space to breathe, revisit important relationships, and resolve the major emotional threads without rushing through them. At the same time, the series is impressively economical when it needs to be. Several storylines are given satisfying resolution with only a few lines rather than being stretched into unnecessary episodes.
That balance is rare.
If you are looking for a light school romance, this is not that.
Yes, the main characters are students, but the emotional and thematic scope of the story is much larger than its setting. Ticket to Heaven is about young people confronting questions that many adults spend their entire lives avoiding: Who am I if I stop living according to other people’s expectations? What do I actually believe? What makes a life meaningful? And what happens when the person I love forces me to imagine a future I never knew I was allowed to want?
Beautifully acted, thoughtfully written, emotionally restrained, and deeply affecting.
I am extremely glad I gave it a second episode.

Best BL in history!! This is a MASTERPIECE!!Ticket to Heaven reminded us that we can do both at the same time, Love and Faith.
We can love ourselves or whoever we like and still have that same faith with Him.

A Masterpiece
Waited a long time for this series and I KNEW it'd be a masterpiece. Gemini and Fourth have never disappointed me. I was unsure about the religious elements but it turned out really good. It was very short and made great use of every episode. I felt so many emotions watching this drama. I've never been so anxious watching a show like this, it was like watching a horror movie.(spoilers)
I never doubted from the beginning that it was going to have a happy ending (contrary to what TikTok believed). It NEEDED a happy ending to be good. There are too many shows like this with a sad ending. It would be too boring and another one added to a long list of many. The happy ending is what made this drama a masterpiece and what made it stand out from others of this same genre. Gemini and Fourth's acting was seriously amazing and they've both improved so much. I was not expecting the chemistry they delivered either. A literal masterpiece.

Lately when I see a new Thai BL coming out I automatically scroll past it because I expect another silly comedy with always the same spicy scenes. I'm not much into this kind of romance products (above all when set in a school/university environment) so I simply move on and forget it.It happened with this drama too, also thanks to the Italian translation of the title that suggested me I would have to endure a hundred cringy lines pretending to be funny about fear and regret towards God and church.
But then I read a review stating that this BL was something different, more mature and telling a relatable story about coming of age and self recogniztion.
I jumped into it straight away and wasn't disappoint a bit.
This is the kind of dramas I like: deep, true and well directed (no sensless scenes cuts or jumping from a scene to the other without any connection).
Moreover, these "serious" dramas let the actors show their real value, how good they can act even just with a glace.
Thank God reviews were invented.

The Best Series Ever
Ticket to Heaven is honestly one of the best series I’ve watched. Every episode took me on an emotional roller coaster—making me laugh, cry, smile, and completely forget about the world for an hour. The storytelling, cinematography, soundtrack, and acting were all incredible.Episode 5 completely shattered my heart, while Episode 6 was simply iconic. Watching their married life felt like witnessing a genuine happily ever after. It was warm, comforting, and filled with so much love that I couldn’t stop smiling.
This series made every Saturday something to look forward to. I’d avoid social media, turn off my notifications, and stay away from the internet just to experience each episode without spoilers.
Thank you, Ticket to Heaven, for giving us such a beautiful story and unforgettable characters. This wasn’t just a series—it was an emotional journey that I’ll always remember. 🤍

Eu já sabia que Ticket to Heaven ia me machucar. Desde o começo eu sabia que não seria um BL que eu conseguiria assistir como assisto tantos outros, porque a história do Tanrak e do Barth toca em uma parte muito específica da minha vida, uma parte que envolve a minha fé, a forma como eu cresci dentro da Igreja Católica e, principalmente, a maneira como durante muitos anos eu enxerguei o fato de gostar de mulheres. O que eu não sabia era o quanto isso ainda seria capaz de me atingir.Eu comecei a assistir sabendo que existia ali uma coisa que eu reconheceria. Tanrak tinha medo de amar alguém porque acreditava que esse amor poderia afastá-lo de Deus, e eu conhecia aquele medo. Desde criança eu sempre gostei de meninas, isso nunca foi exatamente escondido, mas durante muito tempo eu enxerguei isso como alguma coisa que precisava desaparecer. Eu me ajoelhava na missa, rezava, chorava e pedia para Deus tirar aquilo de mim. Quantas vezes eu disse "Pai, eu pequei de novo" eu já nem sei mais. Eu realmente acreditava que estava falhando com Ele todas as vezes que percebia que continuava gostando de mulheres. Eu pedia para ser uma pessoa normal, pedia para conseguir me libertar daquele pecado e, quando nada mudava, comecei a acreditar que talvez Deus não estivesse me ouvindo justamente por minha causa.
Por isso foi impossível assistir ao Tanrak sem me enxergar nele em algum momento. Quando ele percebe que está apaixonado pelo Barth e começa a evitá-lo porque está com medo de que alguém descubra, eu não estava apenas entendendo o personagem. Eu estava lembrando de uma versão minha que também teve medo de existir. Mas foi quando ele entrou naquele confessionário e disse ao padre que tinha pecado, que estava apaixonado por alguém que não podia amar, que eu senti que alguma coisa dentro de mim tinha sido puxada para fora. Principalmente quando ele começou a perguntar se, caso terminasse com Barth, Deus voltaria a amá-lo, se voltaria a ouvi-lo. Porque eu também já tive medo de que Deus não me ouvisse. Eu também já achei que precisava abrir mão de uma parte de mim para continuar sendo digna do amor Dele.
E talvez seja por isso que a frase do Barth tenha me destruído tanto. Quando ele diz a Tanrak que o ama porque Deus o ama, eu não ouvi apenas uma declaração de amor entre dois personagens. Eu pensei em tudo que eu já vivi e em todas as vezes em que eu achei que precisava escolher. Durante a minha adolescência, eu ouvi pessoas dizendo que eu iria para o inferno por gostar de mulheres, que eu era pecadora, que eu era um demônio. Pessoas apontavam o dedo para mim, pegavam meu número e mandavam versículos da Bíblia como se precisassem me convencer de que havia alguma coisa errada em mim. Em determinado momento, até ouvi que precisava descobrir qual trauma havia me feito gostar de meninas e que só poderia ser curada quando aceitasse Jesus. E eu vivi tudo isso enquanto continuava amando Jesus.
Foi justamente isso que Ticket to Heaven me fez lembrar. Não porque hoje eu pense da mesma forma que pensava naquela época, mas porque eu percebi que algumas coisas que eu achava que já não doíam ainda estavam guardadas em algum lugar. Hoje eu me entendo, me aceito e não escondo mais quem eu sou. Eu sou católica, amo Deus, amo Jesus e continuo sendo uma mulher que ama mulheres. Eu não precisei abandonar a minha fé para conseguir aceitar a mim mesma, mas durante muito tempo eu achei que precisaria.
Eu contei para a minha mulher sobre essa frase do Barth porque, de alguma forma, foi impossível não pensar nela. Eu pensei que aquilo era algo que ela diria para mim. Ela não vive a fé da mesma maneira que eu, não gosta de igreja e questiona muitas coisas sobre Deus, enquanto eu sou completamente devota de Cristo. Mas eu não preciso que ela acredite em tudo exatamente como eu acredito para que ela entenda o quanto Deus é importante para mim. E talvez o que eu tenha sentido lendo aquela fala tenha sido justamente isso: a vontade de ser amada sem precisar esconder nenhuma das partes que fazem de mim quem eu sou.
Eu chorei muito nos episódios 5 e 6. Muito mais do que eu esperava. Eu precisei pausar várias vezes, mandar áudio chorando para a minha namorada, para meus amigos, sair do episódio para responder alguma coisa e, mesmo longe da tela, começar a chorar novamente só de lembrar do que tinha acabado de assistir. Em determinado momento, eu já não precisava nem estar vendo a série para ficar mal. Bastava pensar no Tanrak e no Barth para começar a chorar.
E acho que foi aí que eu entendi que eu não estava chorando somente pelo que estava acontecendo com eles. Eu estava chorando por coisas que aconteceram comigo e que, naquela época, eu talvez não tivesse conseguido chorar. Eu precisava continuar vivendo, continuar indo para a igreja, continuar tentando entender o que estava acontecendo comigo, continuar ouvindo as pessoas ao meu redor e tentando descobrir se eu estava errada. Quando finalmente encontrei uma forma de me aceitar, talvez eu tenha seguido em frente sem perceber que algumas daquelas dores continuavam comigo.
Ticket to Heaven encontrou justamente esse lugar.
Por isso eu não consigo dizer que terminei o BL e simplesmente gostei ou não gostei. Eu terminei carregando uma sensação muito difícil de explicar, porque foi como assistir à minha própria história sendo contada por outra pessoa, só que com personagens diferentes e em outro contexto. Eu já sabia que ia me machucar. Só não sabia quanto.
E talvez seja isso que mais ficou comigo depois de terminar. Eu passei anos acreditando que precisava escolher entre amar a Deus e ser quem eu sou. Hoje eu sei que não quero mais viver dessa forma. Continuo amando Jesus, continuo tendo fé, continuo sendo católica e continuo amando mulheres. E depois de tudo que vivi, talvez a coisa mais importante que essa história tenha me lembrado seja que eu não preciso mais olhar para mim mesma como aquela menina que precisava ser "curada" de alguma coisa.
Eu só queria que ela tivesse sabido disso antes.
